Sony WH-1000XM6 Repairability report gives you another reason to buy this flagship headphone

According to The experts at iFixit“Sony seems to have made a deliberate attempt to design the WH-1000XM6 with repair in mind”, and there have been tweaks to how these headphones have been compiled that prove that.
Is crucial, IFIXIT says, the battery in the headphones is now attached in place with two screws-in place to be stuck with the double-sided glue used for the Sony WH-1000XM5which was launched in 2022.
The modular driver center plate is easy to replace, says iFixit-er is not a glue to deal with, and the component can be entered into without the risk of damaging other parts of the interior of the headphones.

IFIXIT also reports that the USB-C port, the audio connection and the button board are “easily accessible”, making repairs easier. The idea is that if a part of the Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones fails, you do not have to replace them completely.
