Sophie and Joshua married in a private ceremony in their Central Coast, NSW house in 2022.
Sophie spoke with Stellar Magazine, the small wedding ‘Beautiful and Relecinded’.
She added that she chose to have a wedding at home to keep things ‘stress-free’, while Joshua called their private house ‘our sanctuary’ and was happy to make wedding memories that last a lifetime.
Another reason why they chose to have a wedding themselves was because Sophie was happy to limit the guest list to an absolute minimum.
“We thought that if you don’t invite one person, no one could get some region,” she told Stellar.
She designed her own dress and gave J’aton Couture only two weeks to make it based on her own sketches.
The couple met for the first time on a flight from Europe to Australia in August 2018 and shared a kiss after enjoying ‘Three Champagnes’ in Business Class.
