Jubilant Spurs fans will miss the Europa League Trophy Parade on Friday – because they are still coming home from Bilbao.
An estimated 30,000 supporters of Tottenham traveled by land, sea and air to Spain for Wednesday Historical victory over Manchester United.
Many took a long drive through the continent, while others juggled countless flights – and some even Braved a 32-hour ferry ride from Portsmouth.
And although the journey was a real loyalty test, the way home is not much better.
Flights to Bilbao were usually excessive, with desperate fans who in some cases came out more than £ 1,000.
They wanted to come back on Thursday, the day after the game, and had to pay.
A flight to Stansted on Thursday afternoon two friends each returned £ 740, while direct flights in the morning to Gatwick were almost £ 900.
The high costs and the fact that Bilbao has relatively few international flights meant that many had to distract themselves to different locations en route to get home.
A seasonal card holder extends Bilbao to Tenerife, where he spends 20 hours before he arrives home to Birmingham late on Friday evening.
Father and son, Neil and Leo, from Hampshire booked a return trip from Portsmouth in August and does not even leave the Basque city until Saturday.

They will be happy to be home for Sunday’s home game against Brighton, when supporters can again enjoy the first trophy of Spurs in 17 years.
Others, including Ben van Essex, did not even give their journey a second thought before they left.
He joked: “I decided to move to Spain. I am not sure if immigration will be happy, but I have not booked a return trip.”
His friend Paul did not take such opportunities and was determined to come back on Friday morning.
He said: “I decided to get the Bilbao bus to Madrid, which is about five hours.
‘Then catch the flight home to London, via Rome. I’m going to Italy for an hour.
“Then I will be in Heathrow on Thursday evening at about 11 am and I am hopefully back in time for the Victory Parade.”
Two friends who will certainly miss the parade, his pocket and Tyler, who only entered the game from Florida.
They had a few problems to come to Bilbao – and then didn’t even think about the parties in London.
Bag, who has a British traces – supporting father and an American mother, said: “We could not find any accommodation in Bilbao, or transport in it – no flights, no trains, no buses.
“So our only option was to fly to Madrid, rent a car and then drive to Bilbao, but then we couldn’t find hotels, so we decided to rent a van.
“We slept in the van in Bilbao last night and now drove it back to Madrid.”
The couple now go to Budapest for some “quieter time” in Hungary.
Zak added: “I would have liked to go to the parade, yes. I just didn’t think so far ahead.”
