SSI November 2024: This is where you will receive your second check this month
Supplemental Security Income recipients should have received their checks this month, but another check will appear in their bank accounts before the end of November. We explain why below.
Supplemental Security Income is a program administered by the Social Security Administration. It benefits eligible recipients with limited income and resources, and those with eligible disabilities. Children who are blind or have disabilities may also qualify for SSI.
If you’re just receiving benefits, or you’re about to file for SSI, we’ll break down the payment schedule for the rest of the year so you don’t have to guess when to expect your next check. SSI Payment Schedule
This is where you can expect to receive your SSI payments for the rest of the year.
- Friday November 1
- Friday November 29 (before December)
For November, recipients will receive their first check on Friday, November 1. Because the first day of December is a Sunday this year, that check will be paid on Friday, November 29.
If I receive other Social Security benefits, will I receive them sooner?
No. For the most part, each Social Security benefit has a simple schedule, with only a few instances where it may deviate from the usual schedule. For your reference, below is the November Social Security payment schedule.
If you received social security before May 1997 | November 1 |
---|---|
If your birthday falls between days 1 and 10 of the month | November 13 |
If your birthday falls between days 11 and 20 of the month | November 20 |
If your birthday falls between day 21 and 31 of the month | November 27 |
