Stacey Solomon finally unveiled her brand new pool at Pickle Cottage with a new Instagram post on Saturday.

The 32-year-old TV personality looked radiant as she slipped into a white bikini to plunge into the pool.

She and fiancé Joe Swash took their children Leighton, nine, Rex, 24 months, and Rose, six months, to explore the new garden and shared their joy of finally enjoying it just in time for summer.

The cottage has had a pool for some time but it had become filthy from disuse and needed a long process to get it ready for use again.

It comes after Stacey, who is now a mother of four, opens up about the financial struggles of becoming a single mother at age 17.

In Friday’s episode of Loose Women, the star said the government benefits she was receiving at the time “saved my life.”

She explained that she had been awarded a Sure Start Grant, which gives mothers financial assistance with a new baby.

She said: ‘I got a Sure Start Grant, that’s what it was called at the time, and I can’t tell you how much it saved my life.’

“My job discounts saved our lives, we couldn’t have lived without them.”

She continued to explain that she relied on government assistance to buy essentials such as baby milk and supplies.

“The milk tokens we used to get to help us buy SMA and milk and stuff in the stores we couldn’t afford,” she continued.

But bringing the conversation back to the present, Stacey took the opportunity to express how difficult it is for single mothers under the current administration.

She told her fellow panelists, “That’s all been scrapped, some of my friends who are now in similar circumstances don’t even have those opportunities. They are completely taken away from the people.’

Stacey concluded by saying it was ‘too little too late’ when she touched on the idea that the government would pay out £400 to families as an ‘energy subsidy’.
