In an Instagram afterthe mother of five shared a DIY tutorial for making an inexpensive Halloween decoration for your home.

She described the simple handmade decor as “super easy but effective.”

“I try to make as many Halloween creations as possible before I go to work. I really love this,” the influencer told her audience.

For her first step, she cut up a swimming noodle, which you can buy on Amazon for £3.

Stacey cut the noodles into different sized pieces and placed them face up on an old serving tray.

She used a glue gun to hold the pool noodle pieces in place.

She then placed electric tea lights into the top of each piece of pool noodle.

Stacey made sure there were slots in the inside of the swim noodle so the electric lights could easily come out.

This allowed her to easily turn the candles on and off without having to drain the batteries.

She then covered each flame detail with a piece of tape before taking the bowl outside.

To create a melted effect on the faux candle holders, she sprayed a small amount of foam on top of each swim noodle.

After this dried, Stacey spray painted the entire bowl and noodles black.

Then she removed the pieces of tape and the glowing orange flames emerged.

They created an eerie light against the matte black finish of the homemade candles.

As Stacey placed the finished decor in the corner of her kitchen, she laid out her bigger plans for the decor.

Inside Stacey Solomon’s Pickle Cottage

STACEY Solomon spent a whopping £1.2million on Pickle Cottage, with Joe Swash matching his own.

She had only scraped together the money for their Tudor-style home in Essex, which is set in six acres of grounds and has an outdoor pool.

The former X Factor star and Joe live there with Zachary, Leighton, Rex, Rose and Belle.

It is unknown why Stacey went it alone, as former EastEnders actor Joe is reportedly worth over £1million but has also gone bankrupt twice, in 2009 and 2013.

The wily Stacey has proven herself adept at successfully running a wide range of businesses including television, books, clothing and homewares.

Her main company Key Map Entertainments is worth almost £3 million, and she is also active in cosmetics.

The former X Factor contestant founded the company Belle & Rose Ltd, named after her two youngest daughters.

“I’m going to make some for the front door this year,” she told her followers.

“I think they’re going to look really cool. The Halloween event is next week so I gotta get my ass ready.”

And the homemade Halloween candles aren’t the only spooky decorations Stacey has made.

She previously revealed that Pickle Cottage has been largely covered in skeletons and pumpkins since school started.

“Halloween is still months away, I’m not walking around in a haunted house,” her husband Joe Swash was heard saying in one clip.
