Lightning has hit a major train line in Sydney, causing massive delays for commuters traveling home.
Sydenham railway station in the west of the city was damaged by multiple lightning strikes as severe thunderstorms hit the area, Sydney Trains confirmed Thursday evening.
“Services have been delayed by severe thunderstorms and multiple lightning strikes damaging equipment in Sydenham,” a spokesperson tweeted.
