Chrissy Teigen turned 38 on Saturday and celebrated in a pretty big way.

The model – who took her two eldest children to volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House last month – shared photos from her party on Instagram, including photos of her birthday lunch with family and friends, and revealed that she had undergone ketamine therapy, during which she said she say was visiting. of her late son, Jack.

“I had a very nice birthday,” she wrote. “I went to my friends @flamingo_estate, had a lovely lunch with friends, then did ketamine therapy and saw space and time and baby jack and some weird penguins and cried and cried and cried.”

“Then slept with my babies, then in the hotpot, then hung out with my best friend,” she added.

Using low doses of ketamine, a “dissociative anesthetic,” has been shown to help manage certain mental health problems, such as depression, according to the US Drug Enforcement Agency.

The DEA also notes that ketamine “has some hallucinogenic effects,” including distorted “perceptions of sight and sound.”

Teigen and John Legend, 44, lost their third child, a son named Jack, due to a partial placental abruption.

The condition is a serious pregnancy complication in which the placenta completely or partially detaches from the uterus.

In 2022, the Deal or no Deal alum opened up about the life-saving abortion she had during Propper Daley’s A Day of Unreasonable Conversation summit.

“Let’s just call it what it was: it was an abortion,” she revealed per Entertainment tonight.

Chrissy shared a sweet photo of the couple at lunch, with Legend leaning in to kiss his wife on the cheek, and a photo of the group at lunch.

She posted photos of her cuddling with her children, Luna, seven, Miles, five, Esti, 10 months, and Wren, five months.

The cookbook author also shared photos of the lavish hotpot dinner the family enjoyed.

The Grammy winner commented on the post, writing, “A perfect day. We love you mom.”
