Megan Fox revealed that her marriage to Brian Austin Green had been ‘unfulfilling’ and admitted to ‘falling in love with other people’ during the course of their long-term relationship. 

The Transformers actress, 37 – who confirmed the end of her engagement to Machine Gun Kelly – got candid about the former couple’s union in the latest episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast on Tuesday. 

The star tied the knot with the Beverly Hills, 90210 actor, 50, in 2010 until their separation in 2020. Their divorce was finalized in 2021 and the pair share three children: Noah, 11, Bodhi, 10 and Journey, seven. 

‘First of all, let me just say, I was not a great girlfriend to Brian. I’ll be very honest,’ Fox admitted to host, Alex Cooper. 

‘And he was not great to me either all the time, but I think it would be easy for me to lean into and complain about or let it seem like that relationship was one way. Maybe I was not great.’

Megan further explained, ‘Because I was young and really should not have been in a relationship of that level of commitment and magnitude.’ 

Both Fox and Green began dating in 2004, when the actress was around 18-years-old and the actor was 31. 

‘I shouldn’t have been involved in that when I was 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23. I shouldn’t have been.’ 

The Jennifer’s Body star then recalled that she, ‘did a lot of, like, falling in love with other people all the time.’

‘I would go to work and fall in love because I was a kid. And, yeah, I never had the full freedom to be single and experience that life…’

The mother-of-three continued, ‘And I thought for a minute when I got divorced that that’s what I was gonna do, and I was single for like three weeks.’ 

Earlier this year on his own podcast called …With Brian Austin Green, the actor additionally reflected on first dating Megan when she was only 18. 

‘She didn’t get to experience being a single, young woman at the top of her fucking game,’ he explained, while adding, ‘She was really starting to feel the weight of it.’ 

Following the separation, Brian has since moved on with Dancing With The Stars pro, Sharna Burgess. 

The two began dating in 2020 and welcomed their first child together in June 2022, followed by their engagement last year in September. He also has another son with ex Vanessa Marcil. 

Fox also started dating rapper Machine Gun Kelly in 2020 and the pair went public with the budding romance later that summer. 

However, despite becoming engaged in January 2022, the actress also revealed on the Call Her Daddy podcast that the engagement has ended after a rather turbulent year between the two. 

And while she did give the update about the engagement, she did not confirm the status of their current relationship. 

‘I feel like everyone has such an opinion on your guys relationship. You got engaged, then I think it was called off, then we don’t know what’s going on with you. How would you describe your relationship with MGK?’ Alex Cooper asked.

Megan responded, ‘I think that what I’ve learned from being in this relationship is that it’s not for public consumption, so I think as of now, I don’t have a comment on like the status of the relationship per say.’ 

‘What I can say is that is what I refer to as being my twin soul and there will always be a tether to him no matter what. I can’t say for sure what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him somehow.’

‘Beyond that I’m not willing to explain. But all those things you said were accurate things that have occurred and I can see them being confusing or interesting to people and them being like, “What’s up?”‘

Megan and MGK met on the set of Midnight In The Switchgrass back in 2020 and began dating that year.

They never shied their affection for one another in public, often putting on PDA-packed displays wherever they went.

In 2022 they became engaged, and when announcing their betrothal on Instagram, Megan said she and MGK ‘drank each other’s blood’ to celebrate the occasion.

But just over a year later, Megan sensationally hinted she had split from MGK as she shared a cryptic Instagram post before completely deleting her account.

The actress posted a video in which she appeared to burn a letter in a bonfire, along with a bag.

She also uploaded a very raunchy string of mirror selfies while joined by a male pal, in which she put on a busty display in a plunging black top and cut-out trousers.

Fox then removed all traces of Machine Gun Kelly from her Instagram grid, having unfollowed him before deleting her account altogether.

Ultimately they seemed to patch things up and things appear to be all well between them now, with the couple recently seen going on a getaway to Mexico together.

The rapper also recently tattooed his entire upper body in black ink, reportedly to prove to Megan that he is 100% committed to their relationship.

Fox also prioritizes raising her three children and co-parenting with ex, Brian. His fiancee, Sharna, discussed the topic last year on the Whine Down With Jana Kramer podcast. 

‘And [Megan’s] very much a part of our life, and we’ll always be connected because of the kids.’ 

‘So we are all family. So there’s no bad feelings there to be like that cannot be in this house,’ the dancer added. 

In Tuesday’s episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, Megan admitted that she ‘loses a lot of sleep’ when it comes to her children being in the public eye, and said, ‘I know one of them is going to be in the public, probably all three of them.’ 

‘They’re drop-dead gorgeous kids and both of their parents are actors in the industry so it’s likely they’re going to have some type of public platform at a certain point. I worry about that every day.’ 

She then revealed her children were not ‘raised with screens, and they don’t have iPads or anything like that or phones.’ 

‘I can’t keep that up forever, eventually, that will happen, I’m trying to delay it as long as possible, but when they get a little bit older.’ 

‘It’s still too early and I don’t want to put the weight of my experience on them. I want them to have their own experience and I don’t want to pre-load it by being like, “This is all the suffering that Mommy’s been through.”‘

10. Consell de Cent, Barcelona

‘Walking down Consell de Cent is like taking a stroll through a microcosm of Barcelona,’ says Time Out of this ‘vibrant’ street in the city’s Eixample neighbourhood.

Since its pedestrianisation, the central hub boasts ‘more than 6km (3.7 miles) that cut right through the city’s core’ and it ‘no longer feels like a chore to walk through’. Instead, citygoers can enjoy the many restaurants, boutiques and hangout spots that line the street, according to the guide.

‘You’ve got everything from the latest crazes like Chinese hot pot joints, CBD shops, and beauty salons to timeless favourites like vermouth bars, cozy tortilla spots, and artisan bakeries,’ it adds.

What are Time Out’s hot tips for the street? Soak up some culture at one of its many galleries and, when the night rolls around, ‘hit up one of the vibrant LGBTQ+ spots like Priscilla Cafe or Plata Cocktail Bar’.

9. Chazawa-dori, Tokyo

Just two train stops away from Shibuya, Tokyo’s Sangenjaya neighbourhood has the ideal mix of city-centre excitement with the relaxed vibe of a mostly residential neighbourhood.

So says Time Out, which shines a light on its main thoroughfare – Chazawa-dori – which ‘is presided over by a giant gorilla jutting out from the rooftop of a FamilyMart convenience store’.

But this street has more to offer than an iconic photo opportunity, according to the publication, which adds: ‘Every Sunday afternoon, Chazawa-dori is closed to traffic, making it the perfect time to explore this vibrant street on foot, popping in and out of friendly restaurants, cosy cafés, local grocers and charming bakeries.’

What does Time Out recommend to eat? Sushi with wine at the ‘sleek and modern’ Sancha Monica or a cream soda float topped with ice-cream and fresh fruit at Guuutara Coffee.

8. Arnaldo Quintela, Rio de Janeiro

‘Amazing burgers’, Brazilian music and late night venues are on the cards at Arnaldo Quintela in Rio de Janeiro, according to Time Out.

Not too long ago, the street ‘would’ve been a ghost town after work hours’, it says, adding: ‘But over the past few years, this street has established itself as a culinary hotspot, and now you can hardly move for people filling its sidewalks each night.

‘Old mechanic shops have become cosy places to eat and drink; groups gather inside and outside traditional bars like Xepa and Treme Treme; and hipster hangouts such as Calma are where to see and be seen. There are more upmarket restaurants for those who prefer to sip fine wine with a standout meal and there are plenty of places to dance ‘til late. If you’re cool, you’re probably there.’

7. Rua da Boavista, Lisbon

‘Few neighbourhoods in Lisbon have lived as many lives as Cais do Sodre, a neighbourhood which has grown beyond its nightlife legacy and become a place to shop local, have a family brunch and dinner with friends,’ says Time Out.

‘Right next door to the original Time Out Market, Rua da Boavista is an excellent representation of the neighbourhood’s new chapter – a central thoroughfare where new ventures in eating, drinking and shopping sprout up all the time.’

The guide suggests buying stylish organic cotton from +351, a Portuguese clothing brand known for its minimalist, unisex pieces, and eating at Cav 86, which it describes as ‘an ode to sharing, where seasonality takes the lead’.

6. Jalan Petaling, Kuala Lumpur

‘Jalan Petaling is one of Kuala Lumpur’s oldest streets, home to the city’s first Chinese settlers in the 19th century,’ says Time Out.

The guide says it has been ‘experiencing a renaissance’ over the past few years. ‘You’ll find Kuala Lumpur’s oldest temples next door to colonial shophouses housing the newest dining and drinking joints,’ it adds.

‘Begin the day with a cuppa and a spot of brunch – or start off at a kopitiam, a local-style coffeehouse – cosy up at a resto-bar, and come nightfall there’s always a party, whether you’re into drum ’n’ bass, jazz or reggae.’

Eateries recommended by the guide include Chocha Foodstore, for its modern Malaysian cuisine, and Botakliquor Bar, for its cocktails ‘spotlighting local botanicals’.

5. Commercial Drive, Vancouver

In a city of rapid change, Commercial Drive remains defiantly ungentrified. McDonald’s and Starbucks tried and failed to stay the course, and the many clothing shops and boutiques are devoted either to vintage or ethically sourced items from far-off places.

So says Time Out, asserting that here everything is ‘unique and one-of-a-kind’ besides ‘a low-flying doughnut chain outlet’ and ‘a generic watering hole’.

It adds: ‘Hip by default, the Drive – as it’s known to locals – also boasts a family-owned bowling alley, a plethora of coffee shops, no fewer than four used book shops and three record stores – and more pizza, and pizza slice, joints than you can shake a pepperoni stick at.’

The guide recommends eating at Lunch Lady for a ‘modern take on Vietnamese street eats’ and visiting The Drive Canteen for ‘local and exotic eats’, including ‘house-made sweets and a large selection of non-alcoholic beer, wine and mixed drinks’.

4. Guatemala Street, Buenos Aires

‘Even waiting in line for a table becomes a social occasion’ on Guatemala Street in the Palermo Viejo district of Buenos Aires, according to Time Out, which notes: ‘Every night, you’ll see people hanging out by the old tram line enjoying glasses of Malbec.’

The street is home to ‘two of the city’s four newly green-starred restaurants’ as well as ‘one of only two Michelin-starred restaurants – Don Julio, aka the world’s best parrilla [grill restaurant]’.

The guide adds: ‘Much more than a casual steakhouse, this incarnation (literally) of meat culture is deeply rooted in local traditions of breeding and grilling; of wine and friends.’

3. East Eleventh, Austin

East Eleventh, says Time Out, is ‘beloved among locals for encapsulating the city’s spirit like no other street’.

The guide adds: ‘East Eleventh packs every inch with incredible food, culture and music. 

‘Must-visit venues include Kenny Dorham’s Backyard, a makeshift venue with a permanent house party vibe, Franklin Barbeque for game-changing brisket and the Vintage Bookstore and Wine Bar.’

2. Hollywood Road, Hong Kong

‘One of Hong Kong’s oldest streets dating back to 1844, Hollywood Road is one-kilometre long and links up some of the city’s must-visit destinations,’ says Time Out, ‘from the Man Mo Temple and the Mid-Levels Escalator, to the Tai Kwun arts and culture hub and some of the city’s best bars, restaurants and nightlife spots such as Tate Dining Room and Lockdown, a speakeasy hidden behind a toilet bowl display.’

As for its name – Time Out explains that ‘according to legend’, it likely came from the holly bushes that once lined its edges. 

1. High Street, Melbourne 

Drum roll, please, for the winner, a street that ‘weaves through the ultra-trendy suburbs of Northcote, Thornbury and Preston’ that according to Time Out offers ‘something for everyone… thanks to its unique local businesses’.

The guide continues: ‘Day to night, visitors can find amazing food and drink like authentic Portuguese tarts at Casa Nata, local natural wine at Northside Wines, or lasagne at 1800 Lasagne.

‘Known for its many live music venues, High Street is home to legendary locations like Northcote Social Club and the Croxton Band Room, as well as smaller spots like High Note and Shotkickers.’

Leah Glynn, the Time Out Melbourne Editor, adds: ‘We Melburnians love a rooftop bar, and High Street’s home to a real beauty in Gigi Rooftop. Vanessa Hudgens found a silver lining in her divorce Austin Butler and how it pushed her to her current husband, Cole Tucker.

During the Wednesday March 6 episode of the “She turnsPodcast, Hudgens, 35, opened up about her dating history, including her nine-year relationship with Butler, 32. (We weekly exclusively confirmed the breakup in 2020.)

Requested by host Emily Tisch Sussman how a past obstacle affected her success, Hudgens shared: “I feel like a lot of my character has been built from my breakups.”

She later added: “I feel like my last breakup really catapulted me to a very, very special place, obviously: getting married.

Austin Butler gushed about his encounter with Sting while promoting Dune: Part Two on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday.

The 32-year-old actor in the highly anticipated sci-fi sequel plays Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, who also played Sting, 72, in the 1984 film directed by David Lynch, 78.

Jimmy, 49, as he peered over Austin’s work, revealed a quiet character of his and was surprised that he didn’t even look like him.

“I heard the director described your character as a psychopath swordmaster mixed with Mick Jagger,” Jimmy said.

“He said he still has the codpiece from the original and he’s going to dry clean it so I can wear it,” Austin said.

Jimmy asked how he got into character. Austin said he had never played a villain before and didn’t want to judge him.

“It was a lot of imagining what his childhood was like,” Austin said.

He said he simply imagined what it would be like to grow up with the character Baron Harkonnen as his father.

Austin said he watched the film in Mexico City with more than 4,000 screaming fans in the audience.

“I had never been in a movie with so many people,” Austin said. ‘It was incredible.’

Jimmy then played a clip from the new Dune movie.

Austin also admitted that he enjoyed going to movie theaters incognito to see fans’ reactions to his films.

‘I did that with Elvis. I’d like to put on a hat and go in the back,” Austin said. ‘If you feel it in the audience, that’s the best. I can’t wait to see this in IMAX.”

Dune star Zendaya, 27, was also supposed to be on the NBC talk show, but Austin revealed she was sick.

“She was supposed to be here tonight,” Austin said. ‘She is ill. Her voice has completely disappeared.’

“She was such a real trooper showing up at the premiere last night,” Austin said. ‘You would never know she was sick. She’s such a queen.’

“You guys met on the Disney channel,” Jimmy said.

“We overlapped a little bit,” Austin said. “But as kids we did this Teen Vogue thing together and she brought it up to me.”

Jimmy then played Austin and Zendaya’s 2012 interview for Teen Vogue.

“I could be the first American James Bond,” Austin said in the clip. “I would do it with a British accent.”

‘What was I thinking?’ Austin said. ‘I grew up loving James Bond.’

Austin also took part in a Family Feud-themed skit called “Search Party.” Austin played on the team with Jimmy, producer Mark Ronson, Chance the Rapper and Quest Love against the band members of Kings of Leon. They had to complete what they thought was the end of an internet search.

Austin was asked “people like it best when you kiss there…” Austin guessed “at the bottom,” but Jared Followill, 33, wrote lips and won the points.

Zendaya stepped out in another sensational and futuristic outfit on Thursday, as she joined Timothée Chalamet and Austin Butler at the Dune: Part Two Seoul premiere in South Korea.

The actor, 27, looked typically handsome, donning a bright white double-breasted blazer with a modern twist.

He teamed it with a pair of matching smart trousers with black leather boots, while also sporting a silver chain necklace.

Austin looked every inch the movie star as he arrived in a dapper black suit with a white shirt and black tie.

Dune director Denis Villeneuve also opted for a black suit and tie for the event, as he arrived with his wife and producer Tanya Lapointe.

Tanya cut an chic figure in a black maxi dress with a gold threaded hem with a a matching coat layered over the top.

She added a pair of black shiny lace-up heels and toted a coordinating briefcase-inspired handbag.

The cast and crew were mobbed by excited fans and happily took the time to stop and sign posters of the science-fiction epic.

The stars were also seen chatting to the adoring crowd and posing for selfies as they walked down the carpet.

The film takes place immediately after the first ended, when Paul Atreides and his mother Lady Jessica joined forces with Chani and the rest of the desert-dwelling Fremen to get revenge against the evil House Harkonnen, whose members have killed most of his family and friends. 

The films are based on Frank Herbert’s 1965 novel of the same name, with first being released to much critical and commercial success in March 2021, and going on to win six Academy Awards.

Timothée leads the cast as messianic figure Paul, while Zendaya plays Chani, a member of the Fremen, who are the native inhabitants of Arrakis.

Austin has joined the cast for the sequel, playing Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, a ruthless trained assassin who is Paul’s rival to taking control of Arrakis. 

The first reviews are already starting to trickle in for the film ahead of its release on March 1, and so far they’re even better than the first installment.

Dune: Part 2 has already earned an incredible 97% from 112 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.

And many of the critics praised the film’s gargantuan scope, including Rolling Stone‘s David Fear, who said: ‘Villeneuve has outdone himself.

‘More importantly, he’s done justice to the scope and scale and sheer weirdness of a stoner-lit touchstone’s back half without, pun intended, sanding away its edges.’

Variety‘s Peter Debruge admitted that splitting the movie in two halves was a ‘massive gamble’ that somehow paid off.

While the 2021 film set up the world, he added Part Two, ‘graduates from the world-building thrills of the 2021 original to a meaty, all-encompassing narrative.’

Alongside Timothée and Zendaya, the sequel also sees the return of stars Dave Bautista (Beast Rabban), Javier Bardem (Stiglar), Josh Brolin (Gurney Hallack) and Rebecca Ferguson (Lady Jessica).

Part Two also has its fair share of newcomers including Austin, with Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken and Anya Taylor-Joy also joining.

The film was originally scheduled for a late October 2023 release, before being pushed back to November and finally shuffled all the way back to March of this year following the dual writers and actors strikes. 

Austin Butler has been busy promoting the highly anticipated film Dune Part 2 around the world.

The end of his promo tour came in London, where he brought 22-year-old girlfriend Kaia Gerber along for the ride.

The couple of almost two and a half years was spotted leaving a romantic dinner Lous Lou's No5 Hertford Street Private Members Club in the Mayfair area of ​​London on Friday evening.

The Elvis star, 32, looked dapper in a black suit with a tuxedo-inspired jacket and a black shirt.

The outing comes one night after Kaia was Austin's date to the premiere and afterparty for Dune Part 2.

Earlier at the premiere, Austin spoke about Kaia's recent British Vogue cover, calling it “legendary.”

The model appeared on the cover of the magazine alongside her superstar mother, Cindy, and 30 other inspiring women, including Serena Williams, Gigi Hadid, Oprah Winfrey and Dua Lipa.

“It was legendary,” Butler said AND. 'It was amazing. I enjoyed seeing that. What an exciting cover. I loved it.'

The pair first sparked romance rumors in December 2021, before going public with their relationship in March 2022.

Austin also spoke about his new film, explaining, “I was a fan of the book since I was 15. I was a huge fan of the first film, so I feel very lucky to be a part of this. It's really exciting.'

Butler is a newcomer and will play Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, Baron Harkonnen's young nephew and planned successor as ruler of Arrakis.

He stars in the project alongside A-listers including Zendaya, Timothée Chalamet and Florence Pugh.

Funnily enough, Kaia didn't realize how iconic her mother was until she watched the documentary The Super Models on AppleTV+ last year.

“I was like, 'I didn't know. I knew you were iconic, but…' I didn't understand it when I was younger,” she recalled to her mother after watching the docuseries, which aired in September premiered on Apple TV+. 2023.

“I was impressed with her afterward,” she said Wall Street Journal.

She added that she was impressed by how “smart, focused and ambitious” her mother was even early in her career.

It was doubly impressive because Cindy came “from a very different background” than Kaia, as she had none of her daughter's family wealth and name recognition.

Cindy raised Kaia and her brother Presley Gerber, 24, with her husband, fellow model and co-founder of Casamigos Tequila, Rande Gerber, 61, whom she married in 1998.
