A SAVVY woman has revealed an easy strapless bra hack for all her big-boobed babes – and it costs just £4.

Speak with BBC The SocialKatie said: “Don’t you have a strapless bra? Don’t worry, I’ve got your back.

“By folding the straps down, you can transform a simple T-shirt bra into a strapless one.

“If you feel like you could use some extra coverage or support, you can add a long bandeau made of stretch fabric a few sizes down.”

She added: “It can be very difficult to find a strapless bra that has the right fit.

“Too big and it falls off, too small and you get a quad boob.

“You can test your bra by fastening it backwards and doing the two-finger test.

“The perfect stretch is when you can put two fingers between you and the band, but no more.”

With a ribbed bandeau crop top costing just £4 at Primark, this is a very cost-effective hack.

The bra tip comes because research by lingerie brand Boux Avenue showed that 81 percent of women wear the wrong size.

Despite women’s breasts changing shape and size throughout their lives, more than a third (35 percent) have never worn a bra.

Experts say you should have a bra fitted every six to 12 months to ensure you’re wearing the right fit and style for your bust.

Priya Downes, founder and CEO of lingerie brand Nudea, says: “Wearing the right bra is the single most important factor in a woman’s wardrobe, regardless of size.

“If your shoes caused blisters you wouldn’t wear them anymore, so why do we stick to uncomfortable underwear?

“If you can’t wait to get home at the end of the day and take yours off as soon as you walk in the door, chances are you’re wearing the wrong size.”

Despite our breasts changing shape and size throughout our lives, more than a third of us (35 percent) have never had a bra fitted – and I’m one of them.

I don’t like the thought of a stranger poking my breasts.

Like most women, I have always just bought bras that I like and if they fit well, I don’t take them back to the store.

Overall, I ended up with 32D bras. So far not scientific.

But after having two children – Jude, four, and Eva, 20 months – my breasts have changed. And not for the better.

They got bigger when I was pregnant and after breastfeeding they definitely look less plump and perky.

I need new lingerie because I can no longer fit into my old bras.

But shopping with the kids in tow is not a success, because I never have time to try anything on.

Instead, I just grab one that looks like it will fit, but invariably it doesn’t.

Clearly I need to make time to get myself measured.

Experts say you should have a bra fitted every six to 12 months to ensure you’re wearing the right fit and style for your bust.

Without expert help and faced with a dizzying array of sizes, styles and brands, it’s no wonder we end up buying bras that don’t fit us properly.

But the consequences are real.

We all know that feeling of an ill-fitting bra and it’s not fun: gaping or overcrowded cups, straps that dig in or fall down, straps that rise or cut inwards.

Priya Downes, founder and CEO of lingerie brand Nudea, says: “Wearing the right bra is the single most important factor in a woman’s wardrobe, regardless of size.

To find out my actual size, I ripped off the bandeau and tested these styles at six different bra fitting services.

I was stunned when the bra fitter told me I had an E cup.

I asked her to measure me again “just to be sure”.

Even though the cup size seemed huge, it actually fit really well and was the most supportive strapless bra I’ve ever worn.

I considered quitting my job as a journalist and creating an OnlyFans account.

But before I took the plunge, I was soon back down to earth when I had my measurements taken at Marks & Spencer, who thought I was a completely different size.

My back measurement was 30.5 cm, but the bra fitter recommended that I wear a size 32C for comfort.

I’ve always thought I was around 30-32C/D, so this reading seemed about right.

The bra fit well, but felt a little tight around the cup.

The technician laughed out loud when I mentioned that I had just been told I was a lusty E-cup on Boux Avenue.

“No, honey, that’s a bit generous – a D for a push,” she said.

THE bra specialist told me I was a size 30C/D and brought me a pair in those sizes.

I have to admit that I love a non-wired bra and often sleep in it after reading that this is how actress Liz Hurley keeps her assets so perky.

So I happily admit that I was excited about it from the start.

I chose a C cup and it is the most comfortable bra I have ever worn – I never want to take it off!

With this adjustment, the specialist didn’t even have to get out her measuring tape.

Like a true boob whisperer, she just looked at my chest and said, “You’re a 32DD.”

She then suggested a few bras for me to try on and stuck her finger under the band to make sure it wasn’t too tight or too loose.

While I liked the look of the balconette bra on the hanger, I don’t think it did much for me when I put it on.

It seemed to flatten my assets, but the fitter insisted I was wearing the correct size.

A WRITTEN woman found herself in an awkward situation when her bra got stuck to the ceiling.

She had to apologize to her mother when the bra came loose more than she expected.

Tiara (@tiarajanex) shared the fashion faux pas in a TikTok video.

She was shocked to see her sticky bra stuck to the ceiling and jumped up to retrieve it.

Although she didn’t pull hard, white paint came off along with the bra.

Tiara brought the stick-on bra to the camera to show the layers of paint that are now on the adhesive.

“Mom, if you see this, I am so sorry and I still don’t know why the paint was peeling off the ceiling,” she said.

Viewers were confused as to how her sticky bra ended up on the bra.

“Girl, why were they on the ceiling in the first place?” one asked.

Tiara revealed the culprit responsible for destroying her ceiling.

“Friend threw them there,” she said.

The outing comes after an interesting past week for Pip.

Last week, Pim and PE Nation founder Claire Greaves officially parted ways after more than a decade together.

The friends, who have recently been hit by rumors of a split, co-founded the athleisure brand in Sydney in 2015 and have since turned it into a thriving global business.

However, Claire has now stepped back from running the label, while Pip will continue to run the brand solo.

This move marks the end of one of the most enduring relationships in Australian fashion and represents a huge change for the popular streetwear brand.

Claire – who split from her husband, filmmaker Timothy Tregoning, in 2022 – will now “pursue other creative endeavors” as she takes her career in a new direction.

The brand confirmed the news in a statement to the Daily telegramwhich said: ‘After ten years leading PE Nation with friend and co-founder Pip Edwards, Claire Greaves has made the decision to step down from the day-to-day running of the business.

“Claire will remain on the board and maintain her shareholding as the company continues to thrive in the highly creative, visionary hands of Pip Edwards at the helm, together with the board of directors.

‘The company has secured and developed an extremely strong product and design team.

“Pip and the company fully support Claire’s transition to pursue other creative endeavors and wish her all the best in her next chapter.”

Shortly after the news broke, Pip confirmed on Instagram that PE Nation is now a B Corp certified company as she announced the exciting news for the brand.

B Corps are companies that meet high standards of social environmental performance and transparency, and Pip detailed the two-year journey to achieving the certification.

Alongside photos of herself standing solo in front of PE Nation signs, she wrote: “PE Nation was born out of a love for an active life. A lifestyle that thrives in the outdoors of our urban coastal environment. We love connecting people and communities and shaping the way we feel and move.

‘Personally, I have a deep innate love and appreciation for our Earth and the ocean, and I understand that this ultimately sets the context for how we can live and feel good. It is from our landscape that I find great peace and inspiration on a daily basis, so naturally @penation embarked on a conscious journey to commit to honoring, respecting, and restoring the planet while still doing business.

Before launching PE Nation together, the pair worked together two years earlier after meeting at Australian designer Sass & Bide.

Pip and Claire then turned their luxury activewear label into an international brand sold by 600 individual retailers in 95 countries, creating a host of celebrity clients.

But last year Pip was forced to deny rumors of a falling out with Claire after her office was cleared out and turned into a ‘creative space’ following a months-long absence.

Daily Mail Australia revealed rumors were swirling that the deep friendship at the heart of the business may have crumbled after a luxury trip.

A source with knowledge of the company’s internal dealings claimed at the time: ‘Pip and Claire have had a falling out.’

The source said Claire took a month off in December 2022, extended her break for another month in January and then opted for another three months of leave.

However, a PE Nation spokeswoman subsequently denied the pair had an argument and insisted they did remain ‘dedicated and collaborative business partners’.

“Claire is taking well-deserved time off and remains an important part of PE Nation,” the spokeswoman said at the time. “(She) is taking a well-deserved sabbatical for a few months.”

Claire reiterated the message when approached for comment, adding: ‘The company and Pip have both been huge supporters of my sabbatical and I am grateful to have this time off with my family.’

In December 2022, Claire announced the launch of her new luxury accommodation venture in Byron Bay called ‘Sun Ranch’.

“I’m feeling really itchy and excited about the unveiling of this new project that me and my amazing friends have been working on,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.

“Sun Ranch is a 1970s-inspired, offbeat luxury 55-acre estate,” according to the Instagram page.

‘An ultra-chic guest house with five rooms and six epic barns. Abundant with unpretentious good times. Coming in 2023.”

Her work stoppage followed a period of turmoil in her life during which she quietly parted ways with her husband Timothy in mid-2022 after 11 years of marriage.
