Brad Pitt is not ready to back down in his fight with ex Angelina Jolie about their former winery.

“Brad is willing to drag out the lawsuit over Chateau Miraval and Angie for as long as necessary,” a source tells us exclusively We weekly. “He won’t give up and will do it to get revenge on Angie.”

The insider notes that Pitt, 60, believes a “principle has been violated” over the estranged couple’s disagreement and that there is “a truth to be told.”

“The vineyard means a lot to him and he is willing to testify in court if necessary,” the source added.

Although Pitt is passionate about his winery, he suffered a setback in the case on Wednesday, March 20, when a judge dismissed several of Pitt’s complaints against Jolie, 48, regarding the property.

“The judge dismissed most of Mr. Pitt’s claims because they had no legal basis,” Jolie’s lawyer said. Paul Murphytold Entertainment tonight in a statement. “Mr. Pitt’s lawsuit was never about a business dispute; instead, it is about his efforts to cover up serious abuse, and we are pleased that the judge dismissed much of Mr. Pitt’s complaint.

Murphy added that Jolie “really harbors no ill will toward” her estranged husband and hopes the lawsuit comes to an end.

Jolie and Pitt split in 2016 after two years of marriage. In 2019, the couple was declared legally single. In addition to sorting out the details of their divorce, the exes also feuded over ownership of their winery. When Jolie sold her shares in the property in 2021, Pitt subsequently took legal action. He claimed in June 2022 that Jolie sold her stake to “harm” him during their divorce.

“Pitt and Jolie purchased the castle as a home to share with their children and the vineyard as a family business,” court documents said at the time. “They agreed that they would never sell their respective interests in Miraval without the other’s consent. The couple spent the holidays with their children in Miraval and got married there in 2014.”

The couple share six children: Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 17, and twins Knox and Vivienne, both 15. Jolie and Pitt are also fighting for custody of their minor children.

The 60-year-old Hollywood mogul reportedly feels he has found ‘the one’ in 34-year-old jewelry designer Ines, who is free from drama and stress and whom he respects for helping him make decisions about his career.

Former Woolworths employee Amanda Bardwell has been appointed the supermarket giant's new CEO following the resignation of Brad Banducci.

The supermarket announced on Wednesday morning that South African-born Mr Banducci will retire in September after eight and a half years as CEO and 13 years with the company as a whole.

His successor, Ms Bardwell, has worked at Woolworths Group for 23 years, including as head of marketing, and will start in her new role on September 1.

Her new title earns her a rake of $2.15 million a year, less than the base salary of Mr. Banducci, who earned $2.6 million.

Ms Bardwell will also receive generous bonus benefits, with the former CEO pocketing $8.65 million in total compensation last year.

“It has been a privilege to be a member of the Woolies team and one that I have never taken for granted,” Banducci said in announcing his resignation.

“We have an amazingly talented and passionate team at Woolworths Group, personified in Amanda Bardwell, and I look forward to working with Amanda and our team over the coming months as we prepare for the next chapter.”

Scott Perkins, chairman of the Woolworths group, said Ms Bardwell is a “proven leader”.

“Amanda is highly respected throughout the organization and I know that, like Brad, I will deliver on our purpose and work hard to realize the full potential of the Woolworths Group,” he said.

The new CEO has a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Technology Queensland and a master's degree in business administration from UNSW.

In May 2017, she was promoted to Managing Director of the brand's digital arm, WooliesX. WooliesX includes the Everyday Rewards program.

She began her career in food retailing in Queensland, where she worked for five years before joining Woolworths Group in 2001.

Mr Banducci has been criticized in recent months over Woolworths' decision not to stock Australia Day merchandise ahead of the holiday.

Mr Banducci also walked out of an interview with ABC Four Corners on Monday as he came under scrutiny over skyrocketing grocery prices.
