Jess Gale has responded to rumors that Callum Jones is still in love with his ex Molly Smith on Tuesday – after the Love Island All Stars final.

The Love Island All Stars finalists were spotted at the airport in South Africa on Wednesday to return to Britain.

But before they return to normality, Jess, 24, has revealed what it was really like to hear from the public that the exes were 'still in love'.

Throughout the ITV series, viewers hoped Molly, 29, and Callum, 27, would rekindle their relationship – after breaking away from their three-year relationship just six months before making a shock arrival to the villa.

Molly, who won the final with her new flame Tom Clare, 24, was also shocked to hear the public were hoping she and Callum would get back together – after Dani Dyer, Olivia Attwood and Bradley Dack spilled the tea during the series.

And during the Love Island: The Morning After podcast with Indiyah Polack, Jess shed light on the situation.

She said: 'When I first heard it I was obviously very shocked by it. And I thought, was there something I was missing? I didn't want to be naive.

'I was afraid of being seen as really bad if Callum and Molly were this 'love story' and I was in the way.

“So yeah, I was a little nervous about the whole thing. But Callum was very reassuring and he quickly put it to bed. So it was smooth sailing after that.”

Callum added: “Yes, even after the first week or two we were friends and to be honest I'm glad we got that friendship.

“I know people may have looked past the friendship because they want the fairy tale, but sometimes that doesn't happen.

'Life is too short, it takes more energy to be bad to someone to be negative than to continue with life. Life goes on.'

It comes as Molly and Tom claimed their Love Island All Stars win on Monday night, according to new reports.

New voting percentages show that Callum and Jess narrowly missed out on winning the grand final by two percent.

Molly and Tom took home the £50,000 prize after receiving 35 per cent of the public vote, according to The sun.

Molly's ex Callum and his partner Jess received just under 33 percent, while Sophie and Josh, who came third, received 15 percent of the viewer votes.

Georgia Steel and Toby Aromolaran received 10 percent support, leaving Georgia Harrison and Anton Danyluk in last place with just seven percent of the vote.

Dua Lipa And Callum Turner both stepped out at the 2024 British Academy Film Awards – but not together.

Tuesday marked Callum’s 34th birthday, with both his new love and his mum on hand to help him celebrate.

Callum previously revealed that it was his mother that gave him his love of film and inspired him to become an actor.

He told The Times how he inherited his natural talent from his working-class, ‘brilliant’ single parent, who was the ‘strictest mum on their London council estate’.

Speaking of his mother in 2016, who he then lived with in Chelsea, he said: ‘She instilled this belief in me that if I wanted to do something, anything, I should go for it. 

‘Although she was also always saying, “Get a trade. Become a plumber.” And I’m like, “No. I don’t want to be a plumber. I want to be a footballer.” I didn’t want the safe option. It’s nice to take risks.’

Speaking to The Independent in 2020, Callum said his contact with his Australian-based father growing up was ‘loose’ and that his father figures were ‘a lot of different gay guys, basically.’

Rosemary dreamt of being an actress but instead worked as a nightclub promoter, for venues including Ministry of Sound, which meant an eclectic mix of characters from the Eighties club scene were constantly visiting their home.

Callum explained: ‘My mum allowed a community of people around me and wasn’t protective of her love for me. It was almost like a tribe.’

With just hours to go until their highly anticipated series Masters of the Air debuts, stars Austin Butler, Barry Keoghan, Callum Turner and Nate Mann did some last-minute promo work

Butler, 32, Keoghan, 31, Turner, 33, and Mann all arrived at the Tribeca Screening Room for an event on Thursday evening.

The show has received rave reviews from critics ahead of the nine-episode series' worldwide debut on Friday, January 26.

Butler opted for a black leather jacket over a black shirt for the event as he signed autographs for numerous fans.

The Elvis Oscar nominee sported the early stages of a beard as he arrived at the event.

He completed his look with black pants and matching black shoes before entering the Tribeca Screening Room.

Keoghan opted for an aqua blue shirt under a black jacket with a fur-lined collar, with gold chains dangling from his neck.

He completed his look with black pants and pristine white Dolce & Gabbana sneakers that retail for $695.

Turner opted for a more formal look, wearing a classic black suit for the evening event with his co-stars.

Masters of the Air is considered a companion to two iconic World War II shows – Band of Brothers and The Pacific – with all three produced by Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman.

Masters of the Air is based on the book of the same name by Donald L. Miller and follows the members of the 100th Bomb Group, also known as the 'Bloody Hundredth'.

The group carried out “dangerous bombing raids on Nazi Germany” while dealing with “the frigid conditions, lack of oxygen and sheer terror of fighting at 25,000 feet.”

The series also stars Anthony Boyle, Rafferty Law, Josiah Cross, Branden Cook and Ncuti Gatwa.

Masters of Air was adapted into a film by creator John Orloff, who executive produces along with Spielberg, Hanks and Goetzman.

Amblin Television's Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey serve as co-executive producers alongside Playtone's Steven Shareshian.

Graham Yost also serves as co-executive producer, with Anna Boden, Ryan Fleck, Cary Joji Fukunaga, Dee Rees and Tim Van Patten serving as directors.

His new series Masters Of The Air airs on Apple TV on Friday – while he also recently made headlines after confirming his romance with megastar Dua Lipa.

But the Levitating singer, 28, isn't the only key woman in Callum Turner's life. His mother Rosemary is credited with inspiring her son's career, which will reach new heights thanks to his latest role.

Viewers will next get the chance to see Callum on screen in the expensive Steven Spielberg miniseries Masters Of The Air.

The film will feature a star-studded cast in a series based on the exploits of the U.S. Army's Eighth Air Force, which famously brought the war straight to Hitler's doorstep by dropping bombs on the German capital Berlin.

Callum plays Major Egan in the series, who was part of the Eighth US Air Force that was part of the lengthy bombing campaign during World War II.

After being part of the Air Force's 'Big Week', in which the team bombed Leipzig and several aircraft factories, they attacked the capital of the German Empire, Berlin, before bombing other cities in the country.

Egan went on to serve his country in Korea and the Far East and after attending the National War College in Washington DC, he was assigned duties in the Policy Division, Directorate of Plans.

He died of a heart attack in 1961 at the age of 45 and was buried with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery.

The first two episodes of Masters of the Air will premiere on Apple TV+ on January 26, 2024 and will continue weekly through March 15.

Off-screen, Dua isn't the only famous face Callum has dated. He was romantically involved with The Crown's Vanessa Kirby until the pair called time on their relationship in 2019.

He ended his blossoming romance with Georgia Steele by bluntly letting her know that he would like to get to know fellow islander Molly Smith a little better.

However, in scenes airing during Tuesday night's episode, it appears that 24-year-old Toby Aromolaran may already be regretting his decision to let her go.

Since being spotted by Toby, Georgia has been flirting with Molly's ex Callum Jones, 27, after the two contestants revealed they saw each other as relationship material.

But Toby seemingly becomes jealous of their budding romance in the upcoming episode as he confronts Callum about 25-year-old Georgia during a heated conversation.

The row stemmed from a comment Toby previously made about how he could have been dating Georgia on the 'outside' of the villa.

After Georgia is told about the comment, she confronts Toby and asks, “You said I could have had her on the outside, so what's the point?”

Toby replies, “It was never like that.”

Georgia S says: 'Callum told me it was.'

As tensions rise, Toby walks towards Callum and says: 'I don't understand. We're chatting in the locker room and you told Georgia I could have had you out…I didn't say that though.”

Callum replies: 'You said I could have done it on the outside, but I didn't… it doesn't matter how you said it, you still meant the same thing.'

Toby shakes his head and says, “That's not true at all, bro… that you would pass that on to a girl and get her thinking in a way so you could get into it. That's a bit snakey, bro.'

Elsewhere in the episode, Georgia and Callum kiss passionately as they take their blossoming romance to the next level.

The pair kissed twice in front of Molly during a game of It's Popping Off, which saw islanders burst balloons using only their bodies and took on challenging challenges.

Callum and Georgia locked lips after admitting they see each other as relationship material, despite Molly awkwardly looking on.

But the All Star contestant had no shortage of offers after Toby took her for a kiss after admitting she's the islander he sees with the perfect body.

The heat continued to rise in the South African villa after Arabella Chi and Chris Taylor kissed passionately before the model also kissed her former fling Toby.

A TV source told MailOnline: 'On tonight's episode of Love Island: All Stars we see the Islanders turn up the heat.

'No one shied away from the chance to kiss the person they are most in love with and the whole cast had a blast.'

Other challenges included Tyler Cruickshank kissing ex-girlfriend Kaz Kamwi after being asked to guess the islander who likes him most.

And Joshua Ritchie was finally able to express his feelings for Molly, admitting she's the person in the villa who has the potential to turn him on.

However, lust soon turned to anger after Toby accused Callum of passing on false information to Georgia, who he is romantically pursuing.

Toby and Georgia bonded during the first week of the All Stars series after already bonding on Love Island: The Games.

But Toby ended their relationship and told Georgia he was interested in a relationship with Molly.

He also said that if it was meant for them, they would have made a better attempt at dating in the real world and outside of the TV shows they filmed together.

As Georgia and Callum start to bond, Toby has accused his co-star of being a 'snake'.

On tonight's show, Toby said: 'I don't understand… we're talking in the dressing room and you told Georgia I could have had her on the outside.

“I said we could have been something from the outside… but we weren't. So I didn't say I could have had her on the outside, and it was up to me. That's far away, bro.'

Callum replied: 'You still meant the same thing… that's not far off. That's how I interpreted it.'

Toby said angrily, “That's nonsense, to give that to a girl and somehow make her feel so you can get in too.”

Callum split from Molly six months before the pair ended up in the All Stars villa together.

They dated for three and a half years, but their romance ended when Callum wasn't ready to settle down.

Love Island’s Shaughna Phillips was left gobsmacked to see her ex Callum coming face-to-face with former flame Molly during Monday’s All Star’s spin-off. 

The 28-year-old, who was coupled with the hunk during the 2020 series, took to her Instagram Stories and shared a hysterical clip as her mouth hung open in absolute shock.

Writing: ‘Everyone right now’.

Callum dumped Shaughna to couple up with Molly during the sixth season and they went on to have a three-year relationship, even moving in together in Manchester.

But they broke up just six months ago and had an awkward on-screen reunion when they both shockingly entered the South African villa during the All Stars launch.

Callum was revealed to be the first bombshell shaking things up in the villa directly after host Maya Jama coupled up the main line-up of former show legends.

However in an epic and very unexpected twist, Molly walked in directly after him as a second bombshell, leaving Callum completely stunned.

Upon her entrance, Callum was wide-eyed as Molly strutted her stuff through the doors, leaving the rest of the villa reeling at the very uncomfortable reunion.

Maya then explained that Callum would have a choice between stealing one of the girls from an existing couple, or coupling up with his ex-girlfriend Molly.

Molly was seen looking unimpressed and rolling her eyes at the prospect of Callum picking her with following their break-up, as the pair did not appear to be on good terms.

Reacting to the ‘savage’ twist, viewers were quick to take to social media to share their shock, with some admitting they didn’t even know the couple had split up.

The 'Dance the Night' singer sparked romantic speculation with Turner after she was seen getting cozy with the actor at his place Masters of the air premiere in Los Angeles on Wednesday, January 10.

TMZ posted a video of Lipa and Turner slow dancing at an afterparty for the English actor's new film. However, Turner remained tight-lipped about their relationship status. “No comment,” he told photographers who asked about a relationship with Lipa outside the bash.

Prior to her budding romance with Turner, Lipa dated Gigi And Bella Hadid's younger brother, Anwar Hadidfrom 2019 to 2021.
