Mark Wahlberg has given Jeremy Allen White’s stunning Calvin Klein ads his seal of approval – 30 years after starring in iconic campaigns for the designer.

Bear star Allen White, 32, put his chiseled abs and bulging biceps on full display as he went shirtless for the underwear ad in January.

Jeremy rocked the iconic brand’s briefs for the ad campaign as he posed on top of a building in New York City, sparking a firestorm of positive comments on social media.

Wahlberg, 52, said People the actor was a ‘worthy successor’ and that he would like to work with him.

He said, ‘I think that guy is really talented. That’s why we send him a script: a cool story that we think he would be great in.’

First appearing in the spotlight as the younger brother of New Kids On The Block member Donnie, Wahlberg’s Calvin Klein shoot really put him on the map.

When he spoke about the campaign in 2017 on the Conan O’Brien Show, he hinted that his pose hurt him a bit.

“You look like you’re hurting yourself!” That’s the face you make when you pinch your pocket like that,” the host said.

“Well, I can’t say I haven’t done worse things, but yeah, that wasn’t one of my proudest moments.”

Although Calvin Klein’s ads helped Mark secure a film career, he has admitted to regretting them in recent years.

“I’m trying to forget about the pictures,” he said on a 2022 episode of Friday Night With Jonathan Ross.

“I don’t think many serious producers and directors would see that and say, ‘That guy looks like a serious actor.’ Maybe we’ll use him to walk by with his pants down,” he explained.

Mark, who previously gave a very detailed overview of his day, starting at 2:30 am and ending at 7:30 pm.

The former rapper’s checklist included two big workouts that lasted more than an hour, two showers, snacks and meals, a cryo chamber recovery, golf and business meetings, in a routine that stunned his fans.

He revealed that it all started at 1:30am when his alarm went off. Then it’s a prayer session. Then the action star has breakfast at 3:15 a.m., his first meal of many throughout the day.

He previously told Men’s Health that he likes to start his day with egg whites, sprouted grain Ezekiel bread, almond butter and avocado.

From 3:40 a.m. to 5:15 a.m. he has a serious training session, including weight lifting.

Mark’s 10 million Instagram followers will already be aware of his early workouts, as he often shares videos of his gym sessions under the hashtag #4amclub.

At 5:30 am it’s a training meal and at 6:00 am a shower, which bizarrely seems to last 90 minutes.

At 7:30 a.m. the Shooter actor is playing golf, which could be considered another workout, but only for 30 minutes because there’s a snack at 8 a.m.

Next it’s a cryo chamber session.

Mark previously told Ellen DeGeneres about the benefits of cryotherapy, saying: ‘It’s great for recovery, and it just takes all the inflammation out of your body [and] it helps you sleep.”

At 10:30, when most people in Hollywood are just getting to work, Mark is eating again and taking business calls.

He also has time for family, which must be a challenge considering all his children are currently in school.

He has more meetings and working visits at 2 p.m. At 3 p.m. he picks up his children from school and then has a snack.

At 4 p.m. it is time for his second training of the day. It lasts until 5 p.m., after which he takes a shower.

Dinner and family time is at 5:30 PM and he goes to sleep at 7:30 PM.

However, in 2022, Mark revealed he had made some adjustments to his schedule, sharing his new ‘slimmed-down’ daily regime which saw him sleep in – until just 3.30am.

The A-lister added that he no longer eats oats, peanut butter, blueberries and eggs for breakfast, but instead fasts for 18 hours a day.

Vick Hope took her parents to the 2024 BRIT Awards on Saturday to support her husband Calvin Harris.

The presenter, 34, shared a sweet clip of her mum Adeline and dad Nigel dancing to Kylie Minogue at their table.

Raye broke records at the BRIT Awards on Saturday night, winning six gongs at a star-studded ceremony at London’s O2 Arena.

The 26-year-old singer/songwriter won the first gong presented that evening, Song of the Year, for her hit Escapism ft 070 Shake, shortly before also taking home the R&B Act gong and best new artist.

She was in tears as she later accepted Album of the Year, Artist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year, at one point bringing her beloved grandmother onto the stage.

The star now holds the record for the most Brits won in a single ceremony, a record that previously stood at four, jointly held by Blur (1995), Adele (2016) and Harry Styles (2023).

She was nominated seven times – the most ever for one artist in a year – but could not possibly have won more than her, as she was shortlisted for song of the year twice – for Escapism, which won the title, and for Prada.

In addition to Raye’s huge successes, Dua Lipa also won the award for best pop act, while Kylie Minogue – who had a huge comeback hit last year with Padam Padam – took home the global icon award. The evening was dominated by female winners, who won gongs in all but four categories.

Dua Lipa picked up the fan-voted Pop Act gong and gushed to her fans: “I think for more than one reason my fans are the reasons why I’m standing here today so I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone One of you has on me voted.’

A record number of 98 artists were in the running for the new 2024 BRIT Prize, designed by British visual artist and painter Rachel Jones.

The only men to receive awards were Calvin Harris for dance act; Sheffield quartet Bring Me The Horizon in the alternative/rock category; Casisdead for best hip-hop, grime or rap act; and duo Jungle for group of the year.

Miley Cyrus was a notable absentee that evening, thanking her for her International Song win for her smash hit Flowers in a video message.

‘Hello everyone at the British. “I want to thank you very much for voting Flowers as the International Song of the Year, and special thanks for giving me a place to wear this dress,” she said, showing off her tiny gold number.

“It’s incredible to win, but the real prize is that this incredible song becomes a hit around the world. I know this video is a little short, but I just wanted it to match my dress.”

Dua Lipa and Ellie Goulding pulled out all the stops as they led the performances.

Double nominee Dua, 28, opened the ceremony with her new song Training Season from her forthcoming third studio album.

The singer looked stunning in an all-leather look as Ellie, 37, stormed the stage just a week after announcing the end of her marriage.

The night ended with Dua Lipa presenting Kylie with the Global Icon Award, leading to the Australian pop star’s final performance.

“Okay, I’m just going to sob with Raye, you did that!” said an emotional Kylie as she took the stage.

“You did that. British, thank you very much. “I really tried to think carefully about what to say tonight, but I knew I couldn’t plan anything and it would just be about the emotion.”

‘It’s been a lifetime for some of you – 36 years and counting, and what really touches me is the love of music and the connection with people… I have friends in this room with whom I have worked together over the years. ‘

The pop superstar then took to the stage for a medley of her biggest hits, including her recent chart-toppers Padam Padam, Can’t Get You Out Of My Head, Slow and Love At First Sight.

Calvin Harris got an unexpected surprise drink at the 2024 BRIT Awards — Harry Styles‘bath water!

“Let’s have a drink to celebrate,” says the host Roman Kemp said the 40-year-old Harris during the awards ceremony on Saturday, March 2 at the O2 Arena in London.

“I know it’s alcohol-free. It is one with the body,” Kemp, 31, told the DJ. ‘I have a mocktail for you. Are you ready for this one?”

“Cheers, Roman! Yeah, absolutely,” Harris told Kemp as both stars reached out and picked up shot glasses filled with a cloudy liquid.

As the two glasses clicked, Harris didn’t even wonder what he was about to drink. After drinking the mysterious liquid, both men made faces that expressed the taste they had just experienced.

“Oh, it’s a bit salty,” Kemp revealed as he leaned over and grabbed the bottle that contained the ‘mocktail’ they had just consumed.

“I kind of liked it,” Harris said.

“I call it ‘The Saltburn,’” Kemp explained to Harris. The camera then zoomed in on the bottle’s label and the entire audience started groaning in disgust as they read ‘Harry Styles’ Bath Water’.

“It’s a special brew!” Kemp joked.

“I liked it; I would have another one!” Harris added playfully as he reached over, opened the bottle and filled his shot glass.

The joke is of course intended Salt burnthe dark Amazon Original film that follows a student (Barry Keoghan) who develops an obsession with his Oxford classmate (Jacob Elordi). In one scene, Keoghan’s character is seen slurping up the bathwater around the drain after Elordi’s character masturbated while bathing.

At the awards ceremony, Harris won the BRIT for Best Dance Act for his hit ‘Miracle’, which featured in it Ellie Goulding‘s singing.

During his speech he thanked his ‘beautiful wife’, Vick Hopewho attended the music event with him, as did Goulding, 37.

“Ellie, I wouldn’t be on this stage this year if it weren’t for you. What you brought to ‘Miracle’ was incredible,” he said as he accepted his award. “I couldn’t have done it with anyone else in this room.”

Harris and Goulding’s song “Miracle” marks the artists’ third collaboration. The duo first worked together in 2013 on the song ‘I Need Your Love’. The following year, 2014, they joined forces again for ‘Outside’.
Last March, Harris opened up to “The Hits Radio breakfast show‘ about why he and Goulding can make such great music together.

“You just work with someone and it works multiple times, and it’s just easy in the studio and it’s not awkward, which can often be the case with me,” he revealed. “It just flows and you get the best out of each other, it’s one of those.”

“Miracle” was also nominated for two other BRIT awards, including Song of the Year, which went to Raye‘s song ‘Escapism’ featuring 070 Shakingas well as Pop Act, which was awarded to Dua Lipa.

Vick Hope and her husband Calvin Harris made a rare public appearance at the 2024 BRIT Awards in London on Saturday.

The presenter, 34, and the DJ, 40, put on a united performance as they took to the black carpet at the 02 Arena.

Vick looked stunning in a glittering black corset dress as she showed her support for Calvin, who is nominated for Best Song and British Dance Act.

The musician opted for an all-brown suit with matching shirt and brown sneakers.

Leading the pack is Raye, who has broken the record for receiving the most nominations in a single year, with seven in total.

The British singer, 26, has been nominated for Album Of The Year for her highly anticipated debut album My 21st Century Blues. Her third single, Escapism, has been nominated for Song of the Year.

Raye has also been included in the five-strong Best New Artist category and will also compete as a nominee in the R&B Act and Pop Act categories.

She has defeated reigning champions Craig David, Robbie Williams and the Gorillaz, all of whom have been nominated for six awards in recent years.

The gender-non-gendered Artist Of The Year Award sparked outrage last year after it replaced the individual categories for men and women but subsequently failed to include female or non-binary artists among its five nominations.

This year, however, partly thanks to the doubling of the category, six of the ten female nominees, including Raye.

Arlo Parks, Jessie Ware, Lil Simz, Olivia Sims and Dua Lipa make up the female nominees, while Central Cee, Dave, J. Hus and Fred Again… are also nominated.

The British Phonograph Industry – which organizes the annual event – ​​admits that gender balance has been addressed again following last year’s controversial decision.

Big names Kylie Minogue, Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey and Miley Cyrus have been nominated for International Artist of the Year.

While Billie Eilish’s What Was I Made For, Doja Cat’s Paint The Town Red and Olivia Rodrigo’s Vampire have all been nominated for International Song of the Year.

Dua Lipa’s limited output over the past year hasn’t stopped her from appearing in two additional categories at the upcoming event.

The Rolling Stones also earned their first nomination in more than a decade, making it their fifth overall for Alternative Rock.

For the prestigious Album of the Year award, Raye will go up against J Hus’ Beautiful, Little Simz’s No Thank You, Blur’s The Ballad of Darren and Young Fathers’ Heavy Heavy.

While another major category, Song of the Year, is full of strong entries, including Dua’s Dance The Night, Kenya Grace’s Strangers, Pink Pantheress’ Boy’s A Liar, Lewis Capaldi’s Wish You The Best and Stormzy’s Firebae.

Last year’s big winner, Harry Styles, is not nominated in any categories this year after a very successful BRIT Awards 2023, where he won all four categories in which he was nominated.

Little Simz is present in three categories this year: Artist of the Year, Hip Hop/Grime and Album of the Year.

While Central Cee and J Hus both picked up four nominations, including major awards for Artist of the Year and Song of the Year.

As an extra, the public will have the opportunity to vote for five categories instead of four compared to previous years.

Kylie will be honored with the Global Icon award.

She has sold more than 80 million records worldwide and has previously won three Brit Awards, receiving her first nomination in 1989.

Tate McRae has been confirmed as the eighth and final artist for the 2024 BRIT Awards with Mastercard.

The 20-year-old singer is nominated for International Song of the Year for her UK Top 3 and US Billboard Global 200 #1 hit single 'greedy'.

Speaking about the exciting news, Tate said: 'I'm so excited to return to London for my first BRIT Awards! It is the greatest honor to perform on the iconic BRITs stage. It will be an unforgettable evening!'

The star-studded party will also see Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding perform together for the first time.

The superstar DJ and pop star are expected to perform their mega-hit 'Miracle' at the awards ceremony at London's O2 Arena on March 2.

Calvin said: 'I can't wait for a VERY SPECIAL performance with Ellie!'

The pair previously collaborated on the dance-pop anthems 'I Need Your Love' in 2012 and 'Outside' in 2014.

Becky Hill and Chase and Status will also come together for a “celebration of drum and bass” during the ceremony.

The 'Disconnect' hitmaker and the drum and bass duo – made up of Saul Milton (Chase) and Will Kennard (Status) – have been nominated for Best Dance Act and Group of the Year respectively.

Becky is no stranger to the British, as he previously performed with David Guetta in 2023.

She said: “I can't wait to perform at the BRITs again and it was tough flying from the ceiling of the O2 last year, but I'm excited about what we have planned for this year's performance.

“I've been a lifelong fan of Chase and Status, so it will be really special to see them perform on stage with me. It's a real celebration of drum and bass – my favorite genre of music!'

Chase and Status added: “For us as producers and artists to be nominated for a BRIT is something special. It's a representation of where British music is at, at the highest level, so it's an honor to be in that category. Also to perform with Becky, a fellow BRIT nominee, is quite special.”

The line-up also includes Nigerian Afrowave superstar Rema, Jungle, Dua Lipa, Kylie Minogue and RAYE.

Before the awards, guest trio Maya Jama, Clara Amfo and Roman Kemp were pictured holding the new 2024 BRIT Prize, designed by British visual artist and painter Rachel Jones.

It will be presented to the winners during the evening live from the O2 Arena, broadcast exclusively on TV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player.

Maya, Clara and Roman have each been at the helm of some of Britain's best-loved and biggest TV and radio programmes, interviewing the biggest names in music and entertainment.

Together they hosted the BRITs' Red Carpet show for ITV2 last year – and will now take center stage in the main BRITs show in March to guide viewers watching at home and in the arena through the awards ceremonies.

The BRIT Awards 2024 with Mastercard will be broadcast exclusively on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player on March 2 from 8.30pm.

Meghan Markle looked every inch the snow queen as she stepped on to the slopes in Whistler, head to toe in winter whites.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appeared thrilled to be spending Valentine’s Day in Canada – the country where they fell in love – as they hit the slopes to promote the next Invictus Games today followed by a film crew.

The couple are in the picturesque ski resort of Whistler, in British Columbia, Canada, for a two-day trip from California to highlight next year’s event. It’s the first time it will involve winter sports.

Harry and Meghan were smiling and hand-in-hand as they arrived at the ski station, watched by what appeared to be their own film crew. The former Suits star also appeared to be filming on her phone as Harry tried a ski chair for disabled athletes and spoke to instructors.

Meghan was all smiles and glamour in skinny white jeans and a sweater topped with a beige quilted coat while Harry was dressed down in jeans and a black Eddie Bauer anorak as he arrived for a training session with athletes planning to take part in the 2025 Games. 

She topped her outfit off with a chic cashmere beanie from Burberry, perfect for the winter weather.

The mother-of-two kept her chestnut tresses down and worn in loose waves and opted for a dewy, glow make-up look with dark eyes and a pink lipstick.

The pair were spotted bending down to talk to athletes competing at the games, while Harry tried out one of the competitors’ sit-skis, all while being followed close behind by a filming crew. Meghan was seen smiling with officials as she also used her mobile to gather content.

The appearance also marked the first time in nine months that the Duchess has publicly worn her £140,000 engagement ring.

The glittering band comprises of one huge Botswana diamond and two from Princess Diana‘s collection since May 2023.

Her ring was conspicuously absent at recent events, such as the premiere of Bob Marley biopic One Love in Kingston, Jamaica last month, and her attendance at the Variety’s Power of Women gala in November 2023. 

According to People magazine the reason behind the ring’s long hiatus is that a setting came loose and it needed to be serviced.

Harry proposed to Meghan in November 2017, with the ring comprising of a solid yellow gold band set with three diamonds, but Meghan has made several tweaks to the design since. 

They pair did not appear at all affected by the row over their Sussex.com website row – and criticism over their use of the royal links despite their rift with the Windsors and an agreement with the Queen not to use their HRH titles for business purposes or trade off their royal connections. 

The Whistler trip is also their first public appearance as a couple since King Charles’s cancer diagnosis. 

Harry and Meghan made their way out of the gondola on Whistler’s Blackcomb Mountain shortly after 2.30pm local time and were introduced to three groups of adaptive skiers: one Alpine sit-ski, one standing ski and one group of visually impaired athletes.

Their trip to Canada comes as the couple are embroiled in a series of controversies – one over their new Sussex.com website and another over Harry’s flying visit to London last week to see King Charles following his cancer diagnosis.

Alex Cairns, a sit-skier from Canada, was the first to meet the Sussexes and gave a demonstration of the sport – arriving at the base of the slope to cheers from Harry.

The Whistler games will be the first time that Invictus has featured winter sports.

The couple arrived in the country on Tuesday and were pictured by DailyMail.com touching down in Vancouver just after noon Pacific time following a two-hour flight from Santa Barbara – the closest airport to their home in Montecito.

Their arrival came on the same day that Meghan announced she had signed a new podcast deal with Lemonada Media after she and Harry parted ways with Spotify.

A convoy of cars collected the famous duo and whisked them away to Whistler where they are due to be on Wednesday and Thursday before they return to Vancouver for an event in the City of Glass on Friday.

The pair are then expected to travel home to California on Friday afternoon to be reunited with their children Archie, five, and Lilibet, two.

The Duke and Dutchess are currently embroiled in an ongoing row over their rebranded ‘royal’ website Sussex.com – complete with Meghan’s coat of arms – which critics claim is a breach of their promise to the late Queen when they acrimoniously quit front-line royal duties.

Sources now saying the couple did not consult palace officials about using their Sussex titles.

A source close to the couple defended the use of their royal titles, saying: ‘Prince Harry and Meghan are the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. That is a fact. It is their surname and family name.’

Yesterday, Meghan was forced to put out a statement defending the graphic design company that created the couple’s new website. Harry has also faced criticism over the short amount of time he spent in the UK following his father’s cancer diagnosis.

He's the handsome Australian model who once starred in a series of sultry Calvin Klein underwear ads.

But Travis Fimmel seems a far cry from his days as an early 2000s pin-up in his new Netflix series Boy Swallows Universe.

The Vikings actor plays drug dealer Lyle Orlik in the hit show and is seen in an array of daggy '80s-style outfits, while sporting a rugged salt-and-pepper beard, mullet and an earring.

The new look is very different from its sleek model ads.

The Victoria-born star made a name for himself in 2002 as the first male model to land a six-figure deal to pose exclusively for Calvin Klein for a year.

Travis appeared on dozens of billboards throughout LA, causing traffic jams in the area due to the raunchy nature of his images.

The character of Jerry 'Smith' Jarrod from Sex and the City is said to have been inspired by Travis, who also appeared in spreads and on the covers of magazines such as W.

Since then, Travis has turned his attention to acting.

He first made waves in the acting world in 2003 after landing the lead role in the Warner Bros. series Tarzan.

However, it wasn't until 2013 that Travis really broke through and scored the iconic role of Ragnar Lothbrok in the popular TV series Vikings, which aired between 2013 and 2017.

He next appeared as Anduin Lothar in Warcraft (2016) and starred in the science fiction series Raised by Wolves (2020).

In 2023, he appeared in two Stan Original series: Black Snow and Caught.

Although Travis is based in LA, he spends a lot of time in Australia and recently even in his own Australian lager brand Travla with MasterChef judge Andy Allen.

His latest project Boy Swallows Universe has received rave reviews from the audience.

Adapted from Trent Dalton's iconic novel, Boy Swallows Universe is an extraordinary story that explores the trials and tribulations of two brothers – Eli and August – growing up in suburban Brisbane in the 1980s.

The series was released in full on January 11, and many Netflix subscribers have already binge-watched their way through over seven hours, praising the show as “beautiful and brilliant.”

True to its Australian roots, the series stars an A-list of Australian actors, including Phoebe Tonkin as Frances Bell, Eli's mother.

The troubled story first touched the hearts of many Australians when the book was released in 2018 – with certain elements of the story revealed to have been loosely inspired by some of the author's own childhood experiences.

Speaking to the Townsville Bulletin in July 2018, Trent recalled growing up with two unconventional male role models.

One was his criminal stepfather, and the second was a family friend, Arthur 'Slim' Halliday, a convicted murderer and prison escapee known as 'The Houdini of Boggo Road'.

Trent described his stepfather as the “first man I ever really loved” and as a boy looked up to the man he called “Dad” – despite his dark, shady actions as a criminal.

However, when his stepfather was taken away by the police, the novelist began to channel his desire to find out more about his father figure's secret life into writing a book based on “answers that never came.”

The bear‘S Ayo Edebiri kept it professional when she was repeatedly asked about costar Jeremy Allen White‘s steamy Calvin Klein campaign.

Edebiri, 28, was pressed about her response to the ads while attending the 2024 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 7, and initially played along when the topic came up on the red carpet.

“I’m bulking,” she said Entertainment tonight, teasing that she was inspired to hit the gym after seeing White’s photoshoot. “So I eat, I use the protein, I use the creatine.”

Edebiri joked that she would focus on her abs especially in the “second quarter” of the year. “Foursomes [are] Q3. And then, actually, back to the poor,” she said. “We’ll leave the rest of the leg, we’ll leave it alone.”

The questions did not slow down as the evening progressed. She joined Abbott Elementary‘S Quinta Brunson for a red carpet interview with Access to Hollywood and had to look away when he was shown a more NSFW photo of White, 32.

“Jeremy, put that away,” Brunson, 34, joked in a video shared via TikTok.

Edebiri insisted she was “happy” for her costar. “That’s my boy, you know what I mean?” she said. “I feel like I want people to understand that he is my colleague.”

The bear won the Golden Globes by a wide margin, with both Edebiri and White taking home individual trophies for their performances. The Hulu hit also earned the award for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy. As they gathered backstage after their win, the cast was asked again about White’s campaign.

“I have a very serious question for all of you,” says An Additional reporter started.

Edebiri could be heard saying softly, “I feel like I know what it is,” as the interviewer turned to pick up an enlarged photo from the Calvin Klein shoot. She stepped forward to take the prop away as White laughed awkwardly.

“I’m putting it away for my boy!” That’s my boy,” she teased, emphasizing, “This is a work position!”

Abby Elliott and more cast members joined in to defend their “family.” Ebon Moss-Bachrach Joking: ‘We’re not there [the] underwear prices, you know what I mean? We’re here to talk about our show.”

White admitted he felt a little uncomfortable with all the attention the campaign, which debuted earlier this month, has received. “I feel very far away from it,” he said Additionalnoting that it was “really nice” to see a billboard of himself in New York City.

After his win, White said in the press room: “It’s been a strange few days. It’s bizarre to make an ad for Calvin Klein, and now it’s even more bizarre when it comes out. But for now everything feels good, thank you.”
