An autopsy report found that a Gila monster’s venomous bite contributed to the death of a Colorado man in February, which one expert described as “an incredibly rare” fatality caused by one of the desert lizards.

The man, Christopher Ward, 34, died Feb. 16 “due to complications from Gila monster poisoning,” according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office autopsy report, which also listed heart and liver problems as contributing factors.

Mr Ward suffered a four-minute bite from the lizard on his right hand on the night of February 12, the report said. He became unconscious for about two hours before seeking medical attention, the report said.

Paramedics found Mr. Ward in a bed, barely responsive and “in apparent serious distress,” the report said. He was taken to a hospital where he was put on life support and “continued to deteriorate during his hospital stay.”

Mr. Ward’s girlfriend, who was present the night of the bite and who called 911, told authorities in the Denver suburb of Lakewood that she was in another room when Mr. Ward was bitten and did not know what caused it of the lizard. strike.

She said she heard him say something “and it ‘didn’t sound right,’” according to an animal control report. When she entered the room, she found the lizard “latched” to Mr. Ward, the report said.

Kevin Torregrosa, the curator of herpetology at the Bronx Zoo, said it is rare to be bitten by a Gila monster and that “it is also incredibly rare to die from it.”

“This is certainly the first one I have had firsthand knowledge of in my career,” he said Saturday.

This is reported by the Associated Press that this was believed to be the first death from a Gila monster bite in the United States in nearly a century.

The fact that the Gila monster bit Mr. Ward’s hand for four minutes wasn’t surprising, “because that’s what they do,” Mr. Torregrosa said.

“They bite, they hold on and they chew, and that’s how they release their venom,” he said, adding that the venom is “very painful.” For the most part, the lizards are not ‘active hunters’ and their venom is used primarily for defense.

Unlike snakes, which inject their venom with teeth that resemble hypodermic needles, Gila monsters have grooves or channels in their teeth so they hold on when they bite, he said.

“The whole point is to get rid of whatever is on their minds,” Mr. Torregrosa said.

Mr. Ward’s girlfriend told authorities that the lizard that bit Mr. Ward was named Winston and that it was purchased at a reptile show in Denver in October, according to the animal control report.

There was also a younger Gila monster in the house named Potato, which was purchased in November from a breeder in Arizona.

Authorities told Mr.’s girlfriend. Ward that it was illegal to keep Gila monsters in Lakewood, and both lizards were taken to a reptile zoo in South Dakota. Officials also removed 26 spiders of various species and took them to an animal shelter.

Gila monsters are native to the southwestern United States and Mexico and are relatively small and slow lizards, Mr. Torregrosa said, making it easy to avoid being bitten by a lizard.

“You have to mess with them to get bit,” Mr. Torregrosa said. “You will not run out of the bushes and bite you.”

The lizards have short legs and stocky bodies, so they don’t scurry around quickly. Instead, they “stroll and lumber around like a turtle does,” but Mr Torregrosa warned they can strike quickly.

Gila monsters have a striking color pattern in varying shades of orange, red, pink and yellow, which breaks up their body contours and helps them camouflage. The vibrant colors also serve as a warning, as brightly colored animals tend to be venomous or venomous, Mr. Torregrosa said.

The Bronx Zoo has three Gila monsters on display in the reptile house, he said, and tools are used to move them when it’s time to clean their enclosure.

“We don’t reach into the enclosures where the animals are,” he said. “Incidents often happen there.”

He added that while he didn’t know what happened in this case, “people often think, especially with a Gila monster, that they’re a pretty slow and laid-back lizard, so they just don’t pay attention. while they are at work.”

A winter storm lashed Colorado with heavy snow and gusty winds Wednesday through Thursday, causing highway closures and power outages that caused travel problems, authorities said.

The storm dumped three to four feet of snow in the Aspen Springs area, three to fourteen inches in the Denver-Boulder metro region and two to four inches further south toward Colorado Springs, said Brian Hurley, a meteorologist with the Weather Prediction Center in College. Park, MD.

Certainly, snow is typical for the state this time of year, Mr. Hurley said, and the amount of snow that fell was not unheard of.

“It’s certainly abnormal,” he said, “but it’s not excessive.”

Lower areas received heavy, wet snow, which could cause power outageswhile higher areas received fluffier snow, Mr Hurley said.

More than 40,000 customers were still without power on Thursday afternoon, according to PowerOutage.usthat tracks the utility sector, and Denver International Airport had more than 800 flight cancellations, according to FlightAwarea flight tracking service.

Several roads, including a stretch of Interstate 70, were closed Thursday “due to adverse weather conditions and/or multiple stuck vehicles,” according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

“Several highways in the Denver metro area and the Highlands are closed due to adverse conditions and crashes,” the department said in a winter travel warning. “Road conditions vary, but most highways are covered in snow and mud, making driving conditions difficult.”

“Do not travel into the foothills!” the National Weather Service said Thursday. “If you do, be prepared for an extended period of being stranded. In metro Boulder and Denver, difficult journeys could become difficult and many nearby streets could become impassable.”

Although the bulk of the storm passed by Thursday afternoon, the state is not quite ready yet. More snow was expected Friday morning winter storm warning was still in force.

Temperatures are “cooler than normal, but not excessive,” Hurley said. “Temperatures will only be in the mid-20s tonight, for example in Denver, and probably around 40 degrees tomorrow.”

“This will melt pretty quickly,” he said.

A young woman claims she had to leave the gym because her outfit ‘didn’t fit’ the dress code.

Emi Romerofrom Colorado, felt “shocked” and “embarrassed” when an employee confronted her about her ensemble because of the gym’s policy that prohibits women from wearing uncovered sports bras.

However, the 28-year-old, who is five months pregnant, believes she didn’t break any rules by opting for camouflage leggings paired with a brown tank top that didn’t show her bump.

“To be honest, at first I felt really embarrassed and felt like crying because I already felt a bit insecure about pregnancy changes,” Emi told FEMAIL.

“As time has gone by, I have become more frustrated and disappointed.”

Emi Romero, from Colorado, felt ‘shocked’ and ’embarrassed’ when a gym employee had an issue with what she was wearing, as the facility has a policy banning women from wearing sports bras

The 28-year-old, who is five months pregnant, opted for camouflage leggings paired with a brown tank top. The bodybuilder’s gym has a ‘no sports bra’ policy and Emi claims the owner’s wife had a problem with what she was wearing

In a now-viral TikTok video, Emi opened up about the dilemma while filming herself in her car.

“So I’m wearing this tank top today, right?” she said.

“And the owner’s wife stares at me all the time when I’m training. And [the] owner kind of walks [over] halfway through my workout. He says, “Listen, my wife has a problem with what you’re wearing right now. We don’t allow sports bras.”

Emi felt confused and said she knew the rule and didn’t wear a sports bra.

But she said the owner responded, “No, I agree with you, but my wife, it’s really hard to differentiate between what is a sports bra and what isn’t… top.”

Emi claimed she looked around and saw other women working out wearing “super short shirts” and carrying their “whole bellies.”

“I don’t feel like I’m wearing a sports bra, so I don’t understand what the problem is here,” she told the owner.

“You’re a bodybuilder’s gym. You have all these pictures of people half naked, which is cool, but like, I can’t wear a tank top?’

She claimed the behavior was “quite offensive” and “the craziest thing.”

The conversation took a turn when she said the owner told her the gym might not be “the best choice for her.”

She replied, “I don’t want to know what makes me feel this way,” describing it as the most “awkward, awkward encounter.”

The video has since been viewed more than 5.2 million times and outraged other women.

‘Why is there a dress code anyway?’ one asked, while another called the outfit “outrageously appropriate.”

“I was expecting something really small but there is NOTHING wrong with your outfit,” a third added.

“She was HUGELY jealous. You look amazing and that was way out of line,” one person claimed.

Another woman claimed she had experienced something similar before.

Donald Trump moved closer to a rematch with Joe Biden in November when he defeated Nikki Haley, his last rival for the Republican nomination, on Super Tuesday.

The former president, 77, dominated the biggest day of primaries. He won 11 states by 9:30 p.m., leaving the former South Carolina governor’s dreams of the White House hanging by a thread.

Trump quickly won overwhelming victories in the states of Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Maine, Alabama, Massachusetts, Arkansas, Texas, Colorado and Minnesota.

Haley is still clinging to a glimmer of hope in Vermont, where she is neck-and-neck with Trump with about half the votes counted.

Elsewhere, she didn’t come close as Trump, the runaway Republican frontrunner, headed full steam ahead into the November general election.

The results of Super Tuesday cemented his absolute control over the Republican Party and led to increasing calls for Haley to quit the race.

Meanwhile, Biden is making gains on the Democratic side as polls close across the country. He faces only token opposition for his party’s presidential nomination.

And Trump’s string of victories on Tuesday night will make it virtually impossible mathematically for Haley to catch the former president.

Tuesday’s elections will award more than a third of Republican delegates — and more than 70% of the number needed to secure the nomination.

Haley pledged to stay in the race until the Super Tuesday contests but has made no other promises, and her campaign has no public events planned on Tuesday or beyond.

She is at her home in South Carolina and will not make any public comments. Trump is expected to address supporters at Mar-a-Lago later Tuesday evening.

Biden will be kept informed of the election results by his staff throughout the night, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said.

Both the Biden and Trump camps are preparing for a rematch, tooThe earliest nominations for his party are March 12 for Trump and March 19 for Biden.

But after Tuesday, the battle for the general election will effectively begin. Both men are ready.

“We have to beat Biden — he’s the worst president in history,” Trump told Fox & Friends on Tuesday.

“If we lose this election, you’re going to come back to Donald Trump,” Biden said on the DeDe in the Morning radio show in North Carolina. “The way he talks, the way he acted, the way he treated the African-American community, I think it’s a disgrace.”

However, voters appear unenthusiastic about a repeat of the 2020 election, which Biden won and Trump wrongly claimed victory. Polls show that a majority of voters wanted an option other than Biden or Trump.

So now each campaign will have to focus on rallying their supporters and convincing independent voters to come to the polls this November.

And the candidates will hit the road to make their case to the American people.

On Saturday, Biden and Trump will hold separate campaign events in Georgia, a critical battleground state. No interaction is expected from them.

Biden became the first Democrat since Bill Clinton to win Georgia in 2020. Trump was convinced he had won the country and now faces federal and state charges over his efforts to overturn the results there.

Oliva was caught in 2016 after he uploaded images depicting children being abused to his personal Gmail account on public Wi-Fi connections all over Boulder, Colorado.

He was found to be in possession of 695 images depicting child pornography on his phone.

The pedophile also had 335 photos of and relating to JonBenét.

The young pageant queen was found dead on December 26, 1996, after she was reported missing from her home in Boulder, Colorado.

Her parents, Patsy and John, had woken up early to get ready for a trip, when the mother discovered a ransom note on the stairs demanding $118,000 for their daughter’s safe return.

Despite the note’s warning to not involve the authorities, Patsy immediately called the police and they arrived at the home at 5:55 am.

JonBenét was found dead in the basement of the home with an autopsy later revealing that her cause of death was strangulation.

Oliva was a longtime suspect in the murder case, and in letters sent to a high school classmate he admitted that he had killed JonBenét, but said it was an ‘accident’ and that she ‘slipped.’

The pedophile wrote in the letters: ‘JonBenét completely changed me and removed all evil from me. Just one look at her beautiful face, her glowing beautiful skin, and her divine God-body, I realized I was wrong to kill other kids. Yet by accident she died and it was my fault’

The pedophile, who was once jailed for trying to strangle his mother, wrote: ‘I never loved anyone like I did JonBenét and yet I let her slip and her head bashed in half and I watched her die. It was an accident. Please believe me. She was not like the other kids.’

In another letter, Oliva wrote, ‘JonBenét completely changed me and removed all evil from me. Just one look at her beautiful face, her glowing beautiful skin, and her divine God-body, I realized I was wrong to kill other kids. Yet by accident she died and it was my fault.’

The letters were sent to music publicist Michael Vail, a former high school classmate of Oliva’s.

In an interview with Dr. Oz, Vail was asked: ‘Are you concerned at all that because of a deeper mental illness or had she had another mental illness, Gary’s obsessed with JonBenét could be confab leading all this making it up?’

Guest commentator Nancy Grace interrupted, asking bluntly: ‘Did he say he wanted to eat JonBenét?’

‘Yeah,’ responded Vail.

That managed to stun Dr. Oz, who looked at his guest and said: ‘I’m sorry, say that again.’

Vail, who seems to be in disbelief himself, explained: ‘Yeah. I know it’s some pretty heavy duty stuff, he’s just talking about cannibalism.’

The old classmate of Oliva then revealed other disturbing statements that he had overheard his friend say.

‘Gary would break into the University of Boulder Colorado. There was a skeleton in there and he wanted to taste what human bones would taste like,’ says Vail.

‘So he tried biting the skeleton and he told me how disappointed it was that was covered with shellac, and he couldn’t taste the bone.’

Oliva, who admitted his obsession with JonBenét, was homeless and sleeping on the streets of Boulder at the time of her killing.

He frequently visited the University of Colorado campus and hung in and around the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Center, where he collected his mail and hung out with other homeless people in the parking lot, according to the US Sun.

The University of Colorado campus is less than a mile away from JonBenét’s home – and the church is just 13 houses away.

There was a long alleyway running behind the properties that connected the church to the Ramsey’s house, meaning that someone could move between the two locations easily and potentially undetected.

JonBenét’s window was also visible from the alleyway.

Despite Oliva’s confessions and his history of child sex abuse, there are other suspects in the unsolved case.

Patsy Ramsey had been a longtime suspect in the death of her daughter, with conspiracists speculating that she lost her temper with the little girl and killed her, only to then try and cover it up with a fake ransom note.

Both Patsy and John were formally exonerated in 2008 thanks to developments in DNA technology, though many suspect that the mother still played a hand in her daughter’s death.

Patsy, who died in 2006, had her handwriting analyzed by experts to see whether it matched the writing on the ransom note.

John confirmed in December that a new handwriting analysis proves his wife’s innocence and further points to convicted pedophile Gary Oliva as the real perpetrator who killed his six-year-old pageant queen daughter.

Two handwriting experts, Mozelle Martin and Dawn McCarty, conducted independent analyses obtained by The U.S. Sun, finding significant similarities between Oliva’s writing and the ransom note of the killer.

The bombshell report revealed a score of 1.75 on a scale of 1 to 5 – with 1 being a definitive, identical match to the ransom note.

McCarty told The U.S. Sun, ‘You can’t make this up…. two separate sets of documents by two different authors that have the exact same spacing and all the consistent inconsistencies, how could that possibly be?’

Another suspect in the murder of JonBenét was John Mark Karr, 58, who claimed 17 years ago that he was with JonBenét when she died.

He said her death was an ‘accident’ and that he had loved her and was ‘very sorry for what happened to JonBenét.’

John Mark Karr, then 42, was extradited from Thailand and arrested for the 1996 murder of six-year-old JonBenét Ramsey

In 2006, authorities extradited Karr from Thailand but were ultimately unable to link him to the scene of the crime and so felt compelled to release him.

In an interview with The Messenger, Karr said: ‘I am not crazy. I am not delusional.’

‘There’s so much more to my story,’ he said, adding that he has ‘been investigated by the FBI for many more crimes’ and is living outside the US ‘for my own safety.’

Though most ultimately dismissed Karr’s claims about being at the scene as elaborate lies, not everyone thought the tale was meritless.

‘Everyone was so quick to say that I was a liar or delusional,’ he said. ‘Did it ever occur to someone that I might have been trying to protect someone else?’

He declined to elaborate, but one possible explanation that some police were open to at the time is that Ramsey’s killer did not work alone.

When asked if he was with JonBenét when she died, or if he had killed her, Karr shut up and said he did not want to incriminate himself as the case continues to be investigated nearly 27 years after the crime.

While voting was underway in Michigan, Nikki Haley gave her closing address to voters further west in Colorado, where voting takes place on Super Tuesday next week.

Speaking to hundreds of supporters packed into an airplane hangar near Denver on Tuesday, Ms. Haley again urged Republicans to abandon former President Donald J. Trump. She called him a self-righteous and unstable leader who could not win in November.

The Republican National Committee should not have to cover his legal costs, she said, another point she makes often. But this time she tried to put pressure on committee members – even if it was somewhat theoretical.

“If there is a resolution on whether RNC funds will pay legal fees, we deserve to see how every member of the national committee votes,” Ms. Haley, flanked by military aircraft at the Centennial meeting, said. Colorado.

Ms. Haley did not answer questions from reporters afterward.

After a string of losses in her quest for the 2024 Republican nomination, including in her own home turf of South Carolina, Ms. Haley has stepped up her attacks on Trump and his transformation of the Republican Party. The stop in Denver was part of a national campaign that included a stop in Michigan on Sunday; she has stops planned in several other Super Tuesday states before the delegate-heavy elementary school day on March 5.

Before cheering on crowds in several Michigan and Minnesota suburbs on Monday, Ms. Haley argued that the former president is turning the Republican Party into his own personal “box.” She reiterated her argument that her ability to draw about 40 percent of the vote in South Carolina and New Hampshire showed Trump’s vulnerability.

“Donald Trump doesn’t pay attention to the Republican Party,” she said Monday during a stop in Grand Rapids, Michigan. ‘He doesn’t pay attention to America. He looks out for himself.”

Ms. Haley, the former governor of South Carolina and ambassador to the United Nations under Trump, has continually sought traction. Her campaign officials tried to temper expectations for her in Michigan on Tuesday, saying that Trump had been campaigning in the state for much longer than Ms. Haley, who held her first events there in recent days.

Super Tuesday could be crucial for Ms. Haley, but polls show her trailing far behind Mr. Trump both in those states and nationally. She suffered another blow on Sunday when Americans for Prosperity Action, the political network founded by the billionaire industrialist Koch brothers, suspended spending on her presidential bid.

Ms. Haley has tried to downplay the significance of that decision, saying her campaign was “never financially dependent” on the group.

“They are a great organization that believes in freedom and smaller government, and I appreciate the partnership,” she said. “But that wasn’t something we were after for money.”

Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson snapped back at her family after being confronted about her indecision to go to college in Colorado without her boyfriend, Dralin Carswell.

In the latest episode of Mama June: Family Crisis titled School Daze, the TV personality, 18, was revealed to only have one week to decide whether she will attend school before losing a $21,000 scholarship.

Back in July 2023, Alana was accepted to Regis University in Denver to pursue a degree in nursing. However, due to Dralin, 22, facing legal issues, the star has been contemplating whether she will go to Colorado without him.

Her sister Lauryn ‘Pumpkin,’ found out about the possibility of Alana losing her scholarship through her daughter Ella – who spilled that Honey Boo Boo had received an email from the university.

Frustrated over her younger sister not telling her about the email, Pumpkin opened about her feelings over the topic and said she would enlist in some help.

‘You know, I’m so sick of Alana being all over the place, whether she wants to go to Colorado or she doesn’t. So how about now it’s time to bring in some sister support?’ she said in a confessional.

In the next scene during the episode, Lauryn was seen stepping into a bathroom to have a private call with sister, Jessica – who also attended college.

At one point, Pumpkin told Jessica that she needs to ‘step up’ while adding, ‘I need you real bad, okay? Because we’re both under the understanding that Alana needs and should go to Colorado.’

‘So I feel like if we leave Mom out of the situation, it’ll maybe make Alana more prone to make her decision.’

Jessica agrees to talk one-on-one with Honey Boo Boo, but both sisters discuss how to make the situation not suspicious. Eventually, Jessica decides that she will take Alana to get her nails done and will find a way to ease into the topic of school.

The next day, the 18-year-old joined her sister for a bit of pampering at a nail salon, and the pair initially discussed her high school graduation and how Mama June’s sister, Aunt Doe Doe, didn’t show up.

Honey Boo Boo explained that afterwards, she had stopped by the house to give her a present and to apologize for not being there. ‘Like really, I don’t care because you should have been there.’

She then brought up that Aunt Doe Doe might have been ‘jealous’ that Mama June was back in their lives but added, ‘People that wanted to be there were there.’

Eventually, the topic of university came up and Alana admitted that she was still unsure what she planned to do.

Jessica tried to convince her to attend the school by saying, ‘I mean, think about it, Alana. We’re the only two that graduated high school.’

She also explained, ‘Do you know how many people don’t go to college, don’t get to experience it? Nobody tells you what to do. You’re grown. If you want to stay up and eat ice cream till 7:00 in the morning, guess what you can do? Eat ice cream till 7:00 in the morning.’

‘You see this little small town we live in? There’s nothing for you. Me and you can both be graduates of college. I was the first one to graduate. You can be the second one and do better than me and go off and actually be a nurse and outshine everybody.’

‘And then when you do all that stuff, you turn around and you look at all these people in this small town and you say, “F*** you,” I did it. Don’t you want to adventure out, see new things, meet new people?’

Jessica also told her, ‘It took me forever to figure out who I was and now I’m happy. And that’s what I want for you. I want you to be living free and happy.’

However, Alana explained, ‘I mean, I want to go to Colorado, but with everything with Dralin and stuff…[it’s] a hard decision right now.’

After expressing her worries over Honey Boo Boo taking a break by not going to college, Alana replied with, ‘Right now, I don’t want to talk about school, Jessie. I want to relax.’

The confrontation ended with Pumpkin saying, ‘Well, you’re going, so I don’t care,’ causing Honey Boo Boo to yell, ‘Oh my God,’ and walked out of the room.

Lauryn continued to take matters into her own hands by calling Mama June over Alana’s indecision and to get advice over Dralin’s legal situation.

He allegedly drove under the influence back in February 2023 and spent two days in Monroe County jail before being released on a $25,000 bond.

By Friday evening, police had issued an arrest warrant, launching a search for Mr. Jordan. On Sunday, police called the shooting “an isolated incident between parties who knew each other and not a random attack on the school or other students at the university.”

The department said it was working with campus police to ensure the campus community was safe.

The search continued through the weekend, until around 8 a.m. Monday morning, when a motor vehicle theft unit found Mr. Jordan in a car downtown, police said. He was taken into custody after about 30 minutes.

Students and officials held a “healing walk” on campus Monday, laying flowers at the base of a marble statue of a mountain lion, a symbol of the university and the mascot of its athletic teams.

It would be a difficult task for anyone making their first argument before the Supreme Court.

As an attorney representing a group of Colorado voters seeking to keep former President Donald J. Trump off the ballot, Jason Murray, 38, faced a skeptical majority in a high-stakes argument that could determine the outcome of the presidential election.

He also appeared before two of his former bosses: Justices Elena Kagan and Neil M. Gorsuch.

After graduating from Harvard Law School, he clerked for Judge Gorsuch, then a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit, and later clerked for Judge Kagan for a year, ending in 2014.

The pair often face each other in ideologically charged cases on issues such as abortion, voting rights and affirmative action. But both Judge Kagan, a liberal nominated by President Barack Obama, and Judge Gorsuch, a Trump appointee who has helped shift the court to the right, seemed concerned about the implications of the Colorado Supreme Court's decision to expel Mr. Trump to close the primary vote. . Each of them bombarded Mr. Murray with a scathing barrage of questions.

Judge Kagan pressed the implications of allowing Colorado to ban Mr. Trump, wondering what would happen if the state at the center of the case were instead a swing state like Michigan or Wisconsin.

“Perhaps most boldly put, I think the question to ask is why should a single state decide who becomes president of the United States,” Judge Kagan said. “That seems quite special, doesn't it?”

Mr Murray responded that it was “not unusual for issues of national importance to be raised by different states.”

That answer did not seem to satisfy Judge Gorsuch, who intervened.

“Do you agree that state power here over the vote to elect federal officers should come from some constitutional authority?” Justice Gorsuch asked.

Mr Murray tried to deflect it: “Members of this court disagree on that.”

“I'm asking you,” Judge Gorsuch shot back, laughing emphatically.

The exchange lasted almost five minutes.

Judge Samuel A. Alito Jr., known for his questions about intrusive mortgages, pressed Murray about a situation in which a president had incited an insurrection but remained in office.

“During that interim period, would it be permissible for military commanders and other officers to disobey orders from the president in question?” Judge Alito asked.

When Mr. Murray telegraphed uncertainty, Judge Gorsuch immediately intervened.

“Why – why – why – why not? You're saying he's disqualified the moment this happens,” Judge Gorsuch said. “But if he is actually disqualified, why should anyone take his cue?”

After Mr. Murray insisted it wasn't that simple and tried to make his argument, Justice Gorsuch sounded a note of exasperation.

“Put that aside,” Justice Gorsuch demanded. He continued, “I think Judge Alito is asking a very different question, a more pointed question and a more difficult question for you, I understand that, but I think it deserves an answer.”

What followed was a sharp exchange, even by the standards of the normally sharp, rapid-fire arguments.

Mr. Murray tried to shift the hypothesis by suggesting what might happen if the president, instead of participating in an insurrection, had violated another term of office, such as being under 35 years old.

Justice interrupted him, “Please don't change the hypothetical situation, okay?”

“I'm…” Mr. Murray tried to speak.

'Please don't change the hypothesis. I know. I like doing it too, but please don't do it, okay? justice rebuked. That time the audience didn't laugh.
