His love life has been just as tumultuous as his career, having walked down the aisle no fewer than five times.

And now controversial comedian Jim Davidson has 'started a new chapter' with a girlfriend called Natasha, who is 23 years his junior – after finalizing his divorce from his wife of 14 years, Michelle Cotton, last year.

Jim said he has already sold the Georgian cottage in Stockbridge, Hampshire, that the former couple shared and is ready for a 'new chapter'.

He claimed he is still on good terms with Michelle, whom he married in 2009, and will continue to visit his ex-wife, although he is too sad to see the dogs they once shared.

“Please, the divorce was finalized today, so it's finalized. I'm divorced again, my fifth divorce,” he said in an interview on his streaming platform Ustreme.

He said people “don't think about that when you break up,” but that he has a “little stepdog now named Luna,” so he's “having a good time.”

Jim, who presented The Generation Game and Big Break in the 1990s, said he and Natasha “just take it day by day and enjoy it.”

He added, “You never know what's around the corner, especially in this crazy, crazy world.”

The comedian announced his split from Michelle in April last year after 20 years together, and was said to be devastated that they couldn't work things out.

His first marriage was to childhood sweetheart Sue Walpole in 1971 and they had daughter Sarah Walpole-Davidson, now 51, before divorcing a year later.

Transgender athlete Hailey Davidson must recognize that golf is a game of integrity and withdraw from female competition.

Then the Ladies Professional Golf Association must follow suit and seize this opportunity to undo their grave mistake – and restore the spirit of one of the longest-standing women's professional sports associations in the world.

Let me be clear: I do not come to these conclusions easily.

As the world's greatest athlete at age 26, a lifelong news and sports commentator, and the patriarch of one of the world's most famous families, I have a duty to lend my voice to the furious, evolving debate over transgenderism and elite sports competition .

This divisive issue has exploded again as the 30-year-old Davidson battles to earn a spot on the LPGA tour after winning the NXXT Women's Classic last week.

Today, far too many people are afraid to speak out at all, for fear of cancellation or retaliation.

Well, I'm not afraid – and my perspective can, humbly, cut through so much noise.

When I competed in the Olympics, the only thing on my mind was my competition. I had great respect for them and of course dedicated every fiber of my being to beating them on a level playing field.

But with all due respect, Davidson (who asks to be addressed by his/her pronouns) can't claim to compete with that same esprit de corps.

I am a transgender person who picked up the game of golf in my 50s, and played as an amateur, non-competitively, alongside men and women of all ages. I am sure there are physical differences between men and women that cannot be erased by modern medicine – especially after individuals go through male puberty.

And Davidson, who began gender transition in his early 20s and underwent gender reassignment surgery six years later, is stronger than the rivals.

Davidson has responded to some of this criticism by claiming that their strength has diminished significantly since the 'transition'.

“It's crazy how much misinformed hate I've received so far today,” Davidson wrote on Instagram. “All these people (think) I hit it 300 yards or even 280 yards. How about 250 on a good day.'

Maybe that's true. But a 250-yard drive would put Davidson in the top 13 longest running LGPA players today.

Davidson has never been more dominant as a male athlete.

I have had several off-the-record conversations with people in the competitive golf world, including those with the PGA, LPGA, LIV, Aramco, ownership groups and sponsors.

Their private feedback is overwhelmingly consistent.

Davidson was a mediocre male golfer who never had a real chance of making it to the PGA. But now Davidson has a shot at one of the most coveted spots in women's sports.

How is that fair to women?

Why can't Davidson, who earned a scholarship as a male athlete, compete against men?

The telling answer that some trans athletes in golf – and beyond – will never admit is that they would never make it.

Davidson has become illustrative of what many trans people and allies fear: a seemingly self-centered individual who does not think about the consequences of his actions and may actually harm others.

Finally, I ask the LPGA: Isn't it time you admit you made a mistake?

The LPGA was founded in 1950 by 13 ambitious women who wanted to give women's golfers a space in which they could compete and win. Founded about 30 years ago, the PGA tour has always been open to men and women. But the only time a woman ever broke through at a PGA tour event was in 1945 at the Los Angeles Open.

It wasn't until 1981 that Kathy Whitworth became the first female player to earn $1 million in career earnings. Today, professional female golfers play on the LPGA tour for a total of $118 million in prize money.

That is an incredible achievement.

The LPGA tour has also been at the forefront of the fight for equal rights, notably rejecting a “Caucasians Only” policy before the tour's first black member joined in 1963.

To the tour's credit, I believe the LPGA's heart was in the right place. However, when the association voted in 2010 to remove the gender “at birth” requirement from their bylaws and allow transgender people who had undergone gender reassignment surgery to compete, they made a mistake.

The LPGA's fateful decision put the company on a slippery slope. It is likely that more opportunities will be denied to women, further undermining the LPGA's mission and casting a negative light on transgender people.

This is not about one person, one governing body or one sport.

This is a simple matter of honesty… and integrity.

Golf must take the lead.

The Beacon Theater in New York City announced on Friday, December 22, that Davidson’s scheduled show for that evening had been canceled, along with his Saturday, December 23, which was scheduled to take place at the same venue. A message shared via the theater’s official X account informed attendees that refunds would be issued automatically. The Beacon provided no further details about what led to the cancellation.

Earlier on Friday, the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust in Pennsylvania announced that Davidson’s scheduled show on January 2 had also been canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances.”

Davidson, 30, returned to stand-up in September for a mini-tour with fellow comedians John Mulaney And Jon Stewart after a period of rehabilitation earlier this year. In June, multiple outlets reported that the Saturday evening live alum checked himself into a facility after struggling with PTSD and borderline personality disorder.

Davidson’s admission to the facility came weeks after he left an explicit voicemail Daphna Nachminovitch, the senior vice president of cruelty investigations at PETA. His rant was in response to Nachminovitch releasing a statement condemning Davidson’s decision to buy a cavapoo puppy for his mother instead of adopting it from a shelter.

The comedian later told TMZ that he wanted “a specific hypoallergenic dog” because he is allergic to most breeds and believed that adopting such a dog “wasn’t an option, and if it was, it was rare .”

In November, Davidson made headlines during a solo stand-up show when he called out an audience member for filming with a cell phone during his set at New York’s City Winery. According to an eyewitness, Davidson interrupted his set to approach the person filming and shouted, “F–k you.”

Weeks later, on February 9, 2020, Davidson used Victim C’s details again to create a Latitude Pay account and was given a $1000 credit.

On March 18, 2020, she used the LatitudePay account to purchase a Sony 55-inch LED TV from Good Guys Alexandria for $995.

The following year, on January 20, 2021, Davidson also applied for a Zip Pay account using Victim C’s identity information, which would be denied.

On May 13, 2020, she used the Airtasker account to have this order delivered to her home, paid for using victim L’s financial information.

On January 4, 2021, Davidson created a Deliveroo account in the name of victim N using her ID details.

Between January 4 and January 29, the perpetrator used this account for 35 transactions, 15 of which resulted in successful deliveries. Most of these were delivered to her home address.

Danny and Leila Abdallah’s children Antony, 13, Angelina, 12, Sienna, eight, and their niece Veronique Sakr, 11, were walking on a footpath to buy ice cream in Oatlands, in Sydney’s west, when they were hit by a car and murdered on February 1, 2020.

The driver Samuel Davidson was under the influence of drugs and alcohol at the time. He is serving a twenty-year prison sentence.

The Abdallahs will tell 500 people gathered at the Australian National Prayer Breakfast at Parliament House in Canberra on Monday that they are in contact with the driver.

Mr Abdallah has visited Davidson in prison, while Ms Abdallah also plans to do so Daily telegram reported.

Mr Abdallah went to confront the driver during an organized prison visit, admitting he was unsure how the meeting would go.

In an extraordinary gesture of forgiveness, the heartbroken father reached out to the killer driver, sparking an outpouring of emotions.

“I shook his hand and he fell to his knees, put his head on the ground and said, ‘I’m sorry, I’m sorry I took your kids,’” he said.

‘He cried and I cried, you can just see that no one has won in this.

“I was at a crossroads in my life and the hardest question as a parent is whether you can lose your entire family in bitterness and seek revenge, or you can keep half your family and find forgiveness.”

Former Prime Minister Scott Morrison, who has grown close to the family, revealed how the tragedy was one of the most difficult days of his leadership.

The horrific incident coincided with the closure of Australia’s border areas at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Speaking about the Abdallahs and Sakrs, Mr Morrison became emotional during an interview on Sky News for a new documentary on the Liberal Party.

‘I’ll never forget that day. It was actually the day my dear friends Danny, Leila Abdallah and Bridget Sakr lost their children in that terrible accident in Oatlands, on the same day…sorry,” he said.

“They had every right to be furious, they had every right to be vengeful, they had every right to lash out and they chose a different path.

“And I know why they did that, because we share the same faith.”

Last month, Abdallah announced that his wife Leila was pregnant with their eighth child.

‘Leila is doing well, she is pregnant again. I got one past the keeper! And yes, she has been quite busy with the kids,” he told 2GB at the time.

Mr Abdallah also revealed that Oatlands Golf Club had finally agreed to allow a memorial to be erected at the site of the crash in honor of his children.

The family hope it will be completed before Christmas, with Mr Abdallah saying it will bring ‘closure’ to their lives.

The Abdallahs had welcomed the birth of a baby girl in March last year and with another baby on the way, the couple will be parents to five surviving children.

The 2020 crash rocked the country, with many impressed by the Abdallahs’ remarkable act of forgiveness for the driver just days later.

The couple later founded the i4give Foundation – to coincide with the anniversary of the crash – to commemorate their lost loved ones and help others in similar situations.

The Abdallahs have also filed a civil suit against Davidson.

The legal action, which is believed to involve Davidson’s insurance policy, seeks payment for ongoing trauma for the family and for children who were injured but survived the catastrophic accident.
