SHOPPERS are rushing to buy limited edition mini Cadbury Easter eggs, which are being sold exclusively from one retailer.

The Cadbury Oreo white chocolate eggs are on sale at Asda for just £2.25, down from £2.50.

The eggs are a variation on the popular Creme Egg flavor, except with white chocolate instead of milk chocolate.

Asda started stocking the sweet snacks in January, but some shoppers are only now realizing they are on sale.

One posted a photo of the five-pack on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook Group last night commented “never seen it before”.

The post has generated hundreds of likes and comments from foodies eager to score some for themselves.

One said “Quick! Run! Lol”, while another, tagging a friend, added: “I need these. Fancy a trip to Asda”.

Meanwhile, a third simply said: “I need these.”

Please note that we’ve seen the multipack on sale on Asda’s website for £2.25, but they may be more expensive in your local branch.

The shopper who posted about the multi-pack on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK said they cost £2.50 in their nearby store.

We asked Asda how long the limited edition eggs will be available for sale and we’ll update this story when we hear back.

It’s not the first Cadbury chocolate to confuse shoppers in recent months.

B&M customers were excited to see a new Cadbury Twirl flavor hit the shelves earlier this week for just 29p.

The limited edition mint-flavored bar normally sells for 75 cents each, but has been flogged at a hugely reduced rate.

Shoppers could pick up four of the bars for £1, 25p each.

Cadbury has recently launched two new and ‘indulgent’ Dairy Milk flavours, also for chocolate lovers.

The nutty praline chip and caramel nut crunch flavors were both unveiled on Monday (March 18).

Cadbury fans also rushed to Amazon’s website this weekend to buy giant boxes of Creme Eggs for just over £21.

McDonald’s fans in the UK can look forward to a treat as the brand new Easter menu is released today, featuring three brand new limited edition goodies.

The delicious items, which hit stores from 11am, are only available for a limited time, so fans will have to be quick to make the most of them.

The humble McDonald’s pie has been reinvented – this time with a combination of spicy and sweet flavors for a delectable Easter-themed dessert.

The Hot Cross Bun Pie, which costs £1.99, consists of a crispy cinnamon pastry filled with a spiced fruit mix and a butter-flavoured cream filling.

It replaces the limited edition Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie that was introduced for Valentine’s Day.

The second new item for spring continues the theme of spiced fruit and butter flavors.

To celebrate the nation’s love for a hot cross bun, the brand new Hot Cross Bun Latte will appear on the drinks menu, priced at £2.69.

The limited edition treat is a smooth latte blended with a sweet and spicy Hot Cross Bun flavor syrup, topped with cinnamon cream and a Hot Cross Bun flavoring.

Finally, it wouldn’t be a McDonald’s menu without a new McFlurry flavor to try.

The Valentine’s Day menu KitKat Ruby Chocolate McFlurry is being replaced by the Galaxy Truffle Bunny McFlurry, which costs £2.19.

It consists of dairy ice cream with pieces of Galaxy truffle, Galaxy rabbit ears and white and dark chocolate drops, topped with Galaxy chocolate sauce.

As well as the new Easter additions, some old favorites are also returning to the fast food chain’s UK restaurants.

If you’re not a Galaxy fan, the Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry (£2.19) is a dessert option among the spring offering.

Fan favorites, the McCrispy Deluxe and Halloumi Fries are also available again from today.

The 100% chicken breast fillet burger is topped with hot and spicy mayonnaise, supplemented with a hint of caramelized onion compote and red onions.

Topped with seasonal lettuce, bacon and a slice of cheddar cheese, this delicious burger is priced at £5.89.

If you want to buy the crispy chicken burger with a medium drink and fries, it costs €7.79.

Meanwhile, the Halloumi Fries, coated in a light batter and served with a rich tomato dip, are available for £2.79.

Cheese lovers who want to get their hands on a whole box of twelve for themselves will have to cough up £7.39.

However, to make room for the Easter menu, a number of other beloved items have to disappear.

British people are saying goodbye to the Big Tasy, Big Lekker with Bacon, Mozzarella Dippers with Salsa dip and Mozzarella Dipper Sharebox with Salsa dip.

Featuring a 100% beef patty, cheese made with Emmentaler, lettuce, onions, tomatoes and a unique smoky flavored sauce, all nestled in a toasted bun, the Big Lekker is a fan favorite that will be missed.

The menu change comes just after McDonald’s UK and Ireland announced it will undergo its biggest menu change in decades as the chain celebrates its 50th anniversary.

Amid the major shake-up, the restaurant will be making recipe changes to its beloved beef burgers, promising they will be ‘better than ever before’.

Fan favorites that will see changes include the Big Mac, Quarter Pounder with Cheese, and of course the classic Cheeseburger variations, including the double and triple.

McDonald’s describes the changes as “minor tweaks” to the way it cooks and prepares its beef burgers, improving “all the elements customers enjoy most.”

From placing onions on each patty as they cook on the grill for extra flavor, to changing the sear on the beef patties – the chain insists the recipe change will produce the “tastiest burgers yet.”

ASDA shoppers are swooning over the incredible Galaxy boxes on the shelves.

The limited edition boxes are hot chocolate packages with three delicious topping options.

It comes as shoppers were thrilled after a savvy shopper found luxury chocolates on offer for just £1.
