It comes after Ryan revealed he got useful ‘tips’ from Eva and their two daughters ahead of his Oscar appearance for I’m Just Ken on Sunday.

The star discussed taking the stage while talking People at the SXSW Film Festival while discussing the culmination of the prestigious awards ceremony.

“It was amazing,” Ryan told the outlet as he talked about Eva, 50, and their daughters Esmeralda, nine, and Amada, seven.

“It was so fun because they came to the dress rehearsal the day before so they were in the front row,” Ryan continued, adding, “They gave me some tips and some notes, all great notes.”

“They are such a big part of this for me… it was my girl’s interest in Barbie and disinterest in Ken that got me into this in the first place. It was wonderful to have them there in the end.’

Whoopi Goldberg was unimpressed during Monday’s episode of The View when she was abruptly interrupted while celebrating Robert Downey Jr.’s Oscar wins. and praised Da’Vine Joy Randolph.

The 68-year-old shared her joy at the duo winning Best Supporting Actor and Actress awards as the Oscars music started playing, causing the Sister Act star to pause in her songs as her co-host Sunny Hostin blurted out: “Oh, they’re playing you!”

Whoopi – who won an Academy Award in 1990 for her role in Ghost – was clearly irritated as she berated executive producer Brian Teta, telling him, “I’m not going,” and when the camera cut to him, he was seen gesticulating. for her to hurry up as he laughed nervously.

It was quite a chaotic part of the Oscars as Ana Navarro also ruffled a few feathers when she made a questionable observation live about Eva Longoria’s ‘t**ties’ and left some viewers unimpressed when she made a joked about Hollywood actor Will Smith and compared him to a dog.

Sara Haines on The View on Monday morning

Ana Navarro on The View on Monday morning

Sara Haines reprimanded her co-host Ana Navarro live on air after saying the word ‘t*tties’

When Sunny, 55, commented on the presence of dog Messi, who stars in the Oscar-winning film Anatomy of a Fall, Ana joked: “That dog was better behaved than Will Smith!” referring to the 2022 ceremony when Will took the stage and punched host Chris Rock after making a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.

Ana didn’t stop there, though, as she was quite sassy when it came to sharing her thoughts on the fashion looks on the 96th Academy Awards red carpet.

While Sunny complimented the pink and green dresses of Wicked co-stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, Ana didn’t hold back, saying, “I hated it.” I thought she [Cynthia] looked like an iguana and the other [Ariana]… it looked like a tribute to cotton candy.’

Moments earlier, Sara Haines chided Ana as she praised her good friend Eva Longoria’s black dress and joked, “I don’t know where she got those titties from because I know her and she doesn’t have… I don’t know” not how that happened!’

Sara, 46, quickly intervened, telling her, “I’m not sure if you can say that…” as Sunny added, “Can you say that on TV?” to which Sara replied, “No!” while Alyssa Faraha Griffin giggled during the exchange.

Whoopi didn’t seem interested in the fashion talk, but she was keen to share her thoughts on Robert, 58, who won Best Supporting Actor for his role as Lewis Strauss in Oppenheimer – winning a total of seven awards on the night.

“I would tell Robert Downey Jr. want to say it’s about damn time. About damn time!’ Whoopi announced as the live studio audience applauded her comments.

“He’s one of those actors who, in my opinion, should have had several by now, but you know, that’s the beautiful and the infuriating part of the Oscars. People vote, and this is what they voted for, and I have to say I’m so happy for him and for Miss Randolph too, it was great to see her win.”

When Ana noted, “Her speech was so moving and so beautiful, it brought me to tears,” Whoopi admitted, “I missed it all, but I’ve been rooting for her for a while now and also…” like the Oscars music suddenly started playing.

“Oh, they’re playing you, Whoopi! Are you going to play up the EGOT when you talk about the Oscars? Okay!’ Sunny blurted out, referencing Whoopi’s success in winning an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony Award.

‘Well, here’s the deal, I’m not going! I’m going to make sure I finish my sentence,” Whoopi said in all seriousness as Brian tried to lighten the mood and grinned at her off camera.

“I’ve been waiting for this for Robert Downey Jr. as long as I’ve known him, and I’ve worked with him, and he’s one of the greatest journeyman actors in the world,” she added before The View continued. a commercial interruption.

Fans were left wondering why Ryan Gosling walked the red carpet without his wife Eva Mendes by his side at the Oscars in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

The Hollywood star, 43, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for Barbie, posed on the red carpet with his sister Mandi instead at The Dolby Theatre.

Eva’s Instagram followers were then surprised to see the actress, 50, was at the Oscars but had decided to skip the red carpet and head backstage.

Rocking a baseball cap and a double denim outfit, Eva’s look was a far cry from the custom couture gowns seen at event.

Eva previously spoke about the reason why she doesn’t do red carpet events with Ryan when she posted footage from 2011’s Place Beyond The Pines.

She wrote: ‘Magic is Real. We did not meet on set. The magic started way before, but here’s a little magic captured on camera.’

A fan commented: ‘Eva, I want to be honest w u, but I hope Barbie will get through the Awards Season just to see you w Ryan. I know I’m selfish and probably a dreamer, but I will never stop to dream about it!!’ (sic).

To which she responded: ‘You’re the best! What a cool comment; thank you. But we don’t do those things together…Like these photos I’ve been posting, I’m only comfortable posting because it’s already out there.’

She added: ‘Oh wait – for those who may catch me in a ‘lie’ – we only were on the red carpet together once when promoting this film.’

The actress shared a clip on Instagram showing her as she posed outside of Ryan’s, dressing room.

‘Always by my man,’ the mom-of-two — who has been in a relationship with Gosling since they met on the set of their 2012 movie The Place Beyond the Pines — captioned the clip.

Ryan later took the stage for an epic performance of ‘I’m just Ken’ sporting a hot pink bedazzled suit. He was also nominated for Best Supporting Actor, but lost out to Robert Downey Jr. (Oppenheimer.)

Eva also shared a snap of herself to her Instagram Stories, writing in Spanish, ‘Siempre con mi hombre’ which means ‘Always by my man.’

In January, Eva defended Ryan over his Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor, after fan backlash.

Mendes posted a gushing message to her Instagram, describing her pride and the ‘Not My Ken’ jeering he endured in the lead-up to Barbie’s release.

‘So proud of my man,’ Eva posted to Instagram.

‘So much hate when he took on this role. So many people trying to shame him for doing it. Despite all the #Notmyken ridicule and articles written about him, he created this completely original, hilarious, heartbreaking, now iconic character and took it all the way to Oscars. So beyond proud to be this Ken’s Barbie.’

Ryan was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role – but controversially, lead star Margot and director Greta failed to receive individual nods.

Ryan expressed his fury that the Academy had overlooked his female colleagues in a statement, but fell short of giving up his nomination in protest.

He began his statement by expressing gratitude for his nomination, stating: ‘I am extremely honored to be nominated by my colleagues alongside such remarkable artists in a year of so many great films.’

‘And I never thought I’d being saying this, but I’m also incredibly honored and proud that it’s for portraying a plastic doll named Ken.’

‘Having said that, I am so happy for America Ferrera and the other incredible artists who contributed their talents to making this such a groundbreaking film,’ Ryan said.

Eva Mendes kept it low key at the 2024 Oscars, but still found a way to stand up for long-lasting love Ryan Gosling.

Mendes, 50, opted to skip the red carpet at the awards ceremony on Sunday, March 10, but opted to support Gosling, 43, backstage. Before the ceremony, the actress got to work Instagram to share a photo of herself outside Gosling’s dressing room, captioning the message: “Always by my man.”

After Gosling took the stage to sing his Barbie Mendes posted the Oscar-nominated song ‘I’m Just Ken’ a second one behind the scenes Instagram see where she donned the bright pink studded jacket, black cowboy hat and matching sunglasses that the actor wore during his performance.

“You brought Ken all the way to the Oscars, RG,” she wrote alongside the photo from the event. ‘Come home now, we have to put the kids to bed. 💋.”

“I’m Just Ken” was nominated for Best Original Song at the 96th Academy Awards and ultimately lost to another Barbie track, Billie Eilish’s “What was I made for?” which was the film’s only win of the night.

Barbie received a total of eight nominations, including Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Production Design and Best Costume Design. Gosling also received a nomination for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for the role of Ken, a win that went to Robert Downey Jr. for Oppenheimer.

Sunday’s ceremony concludes this year’s awards circuit for Gosling and him Barbie cast mates. Despite the film’s worldwide success — it grossed more than $1 billion at the box office — Mendes’ brother Carlo Mendeztold exclusively We weekly that Gosling’s main focus will always be raising his daughters, Esmeralda, 9, and Amada, 7.

“[They are] always, family first,” Mendez said Us of Gosling and Mendes’ lifestyle while attending the 24th Annual Academy Awards Celebration and Children Uniting Nation viewing dinner in Beverly Hills on Sunday. “What else do you have in life if you don’t have a family?”

Gosling and Mendes, who have been together for more than a decade, have a “great understanding” of each other, Mendez said Us, with the couple’s ‘communication’ attributed to their long-lasting romance.

“I think the key in any relationship is communication and understanding what each person is going through and just expressing that,” he said. “It’s pretty easy when you do that. It is also communication and understanding. They are soulmates.”

A source said this exclusively earlier this month Us that Gosling’s recent Oscars have been a “dream come true,” but he’s “enjoying” the attention that comes with his time in Hollywood. “It’s part of the job for him, but he prefers to let others shine,” the insider said. “He doesn’t have to be the star of the show.”

While you’re talking to GQ in May 2023, Gosling admitted that all his life priorities changed when he met Mendes while co-starring in the 2012 film The place behind the Pines.

Eva Mendes showed support for her partner Ryan Gosling ahead of his performance at the star-studded 2024 Oscars on Sunday.

The actress, 50, shared a clip on Instagram showing her as she posed outside of Gosling’s, 43, dressing room, though she chose to skip the red carpet, which Ryan attended with his sister.

‘Always by my man,’ the mom-of-two — who has been in a relationship with Gosling since they met on the set of their 2012 movie The Place Beyond the Pines — captioned the clip.

In the video Eva sported a denim look, including a distressed jacket and jean button-up skirt. She completed the outfit with a black baseball cap and gold hoops.

Gosling is set to hit the stage and perform Oscar-nominated Barbie song ‘I’m Just Ken’ at the 96th Academy Awards. He is also nominated for Best Supporting Actor, and Barbie is up for a Best Picture Oscar.

Eva also shared a snap of herself to her Instagram Stories, writing in Spanish, ‘Siempre con mi hombre’ which means ‘Always by my man.’

Meanwhile Ryan looked handsome as ever in a black Gucci suit with silver details.

The actor walked the red carpet with his sister Mandi Gosling. Mandi wowed in a houndstooth pattern black and gold gown.

In January, Eva defended Ryan over his Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor, after fan backlash.

Ryan received an Academy Award nomination for his role as Ken in Barbie.

Gosling was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role – but controversially, lead star Margot and director Greta failed to receive individual nods.

The actor then went on to share his disappointment at Margot and Greta not being nominated, before praising them for their work on the film.

‘Against all odds with nothing but a couple of soulless, scantily clad, and thankfully crotchless dolls, they made us laugh, they broke our hearts, they pushed the culture and they made history,’ he added.

Lastly, he congratulated co-star America Ferrera, who received the Best Supporting Actress nod.

‘Having said that, I am so happy for America Ferrera and the other incredible artists who contributed their talents to making this such a groundbreaking film,’ Ryan said.

Barbie was released in July and raked in a record-breaking $1.45 billion at the global box office, and $636 million domestically.

The box-office smash hit received a total of eight Oscar nominations, though Greta failed to secure a nomination for best director this year, and Margot, who played the title character, was also passed over for best lead actress.

The 96th Academy Awards honors the best films of 2023 – with the glittering ceremony held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

The most hotly anticipated movies of the past year – Barbie and Oppenheimer – lead the nominations.

Oppenheimer has bagged 13 nods, including best picture and best actor for Cillian Murphy – who is favorite to win the major category after scooping a BAFTA, a Golden Globe and SAG award for his role as physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer.

The impressive total – which also includes best supporting actor and actress for Robert Downey Jr. and Emily Blunt, as well as best director for Christopher Nolan – is just one nomination short of the all-time record set by Titanic in 1998.

Last year’s other smash hit movie – Barbie – was nominated for eight awards.

The 96th Academy Awards will be held on March 10 at 7 pm ET/4pm PT live on ABC, hosted for a fourth time by Jimmy Kimmel.

Eva Longoria looked incredible as she led the stars at the 17th Annual Women in Film Oscar Nominees Party on Friday.

At the event held at Catch Steak in Los Angeles, the Desperate Housewives star, 48, showed off her chic sense of style in a tan bustier teamed with high-rise, black trousers and a satin belt.

Over her stylish and sexy ensemble, she wore a blazer with sequined lapels over her shoulders.

The Flamin’ Hot director — who is joining the cast of Only Murders in the Building for season four — completed her look with pair of pointy pumps.

She was joined by Lili Reinhart, 27, and Danielle Brooks, 34, as they led the stars on the red carpet.

She styled her brunette tresses in voluminous, bouncy curls and donned a pair of diamond-encrusted hoop earrings to match the sparkling details in her outfit.

For makeup, the Brooklyn Nine-Nine vet donned a flattering look featuring full lashes, peach-toned blush and a warm caramel brown lip gloss.

On the red carpet, Longoria posed with her former co-star on her sitcom Telenovela.

Diana-Maria Riva, 54, looked dazzling in a royal blue, satin jumpsuit with a strapless style top and glittering platform heels.

Longoria also posed with legendary songwriter Diane Warren both on the red carpet and inside the event.

Reinhart looked stunning as she posed on the red carpet in an eye-catching, monochromatic green outfit.

The Riverdale alum donned an olive green bustier layered over a silk button-down.

She modeled a flowing, floor-sweeping green skirt with loose suspender straps.

The actress looked effortlessly chic with her usually long blonde hair styled in a dark, slicked back hairstyle and opted for a smoky eye and a bubblegum pink pout.

Naomi Campbell and Eva Herzigova both looked sensational as they walked in the Dolce & Gabbana Womenswear Fall/Winter 2024-2025 show during Milan Fashion Week in Italy on Saturday.

Supermodel Naomi, 53, gave a glimpse of her midriff as she walked the catwalk in a sheer black lace top.

She walked confidently with her hands on her hips and donned a semi-sheer black dress with a slit at the front and a bow at the front at the waist.

Fashionista Naomi wore a black hat tilted on her head with a net veil, while she wore a pair of gloves, black gloves and some heels in the same color.

Eva looked chic in a flowing, semi-sheer black dress with a plunging neckline and satin lapels.

The Czech model and actress, 50, wore a leggy show as the dress was open at the front and tied at the waist.

She also wore a black net veil and a pair of gloves in the same color, while she carried a black and gold clutch.

Eve completed her look by wearing a pair of black heels, adding a few inches to her frame as she walked.

It comes after Naomi continued to set tongues wagging over her relationship status as she wore a giant diamond on her ring finger for the third time in recent months.

She’s not currently linked to anyone, but is sparking engagement speculation with the sparkling new accessory.

It reappeared on Thursday evening when she attended former British Vogue editor Edward Enninful’s 52nd birthday at the Dorchester Hotel’s China Tang restaurant in London, along with Karlie Kloss and Emma Weymouth, among others.

Outside the venue, Naomi was seen talking animatedly to security, wildly waving her ring-clad hand.

She looked effortlessly chic during the outing in a long, tailored black coat with a red bodice that fell over a pair of black boots.

She walked confidently with her hands on her hips and donned a semi-sheer black dress with a slit at the front and a bow at the front at the waist.

Naomi, who has dated top stars including Gerard Butler, Terrence Howard and Skepta, has sparked romance rumors with her jewellery.

The British star was engaged to U2 bassist Adam Clayton in 1993 and later to Italian businessman Flavio Briatore before they split in 2002.

However, if she does tie the knot, the identity of her fiancé would be a big surprise to her fans after she hasn’t publicly dated anyone in years.

Naomi was pictured wearing a similar ring on a different finger as she celebrated her friend P. Diddys’ birthday earlier this month. MailOnline has contacted Naomi’s representatives for comment.

Last June, Naomi welcomed her second child and revealed it’s ‘never too late’ to become a mother.

A source told The Daily Mail at the time: ‘Naomi is a very strong woman. This is what she always wanted. She is so very happy.

“She is so excited to give her little girl a brother. She looks forward to the coming years with great pride.’

Naomi posted a photo of the child and saw her cradling the baby boy while her two-year-old daughter held his hand.

Wrapped in what appeared to be a £275 Dolce & Gabbana ivory baby suit, the newborn’s face was turned away from the camera as he lay in his mother’s arms.

The supermodel said, “My little darling, know that you are cherished beyond measure and surrounded by love from the moment you graced us with your presence.

‘A true gift from God, blessed! Welcome little boy.”

Naomi’s surprise announcement comes after she welcomed her first child, a daughter, in May 2021.

The trio of beauties led the cavalcade of celebrities, including Cillian Murphy, Mark Ruffalo and Rose Byrne.

Greta Gerwig (Barbie) and Alexander Payne (The Holdovers) are also in the running, despite being snubbed from the upcoming Oscars.
