This is the chaotic moment a combative American Airlines passenger was put in a headlock and dragged out by a fellow flyer before taking off.

The disruptive male passenger was removed from Flight 2506, which was scheduled to fly from Tampa International Airport to Philadelphia on Tuesday.

During the outburst, which caused a 30-minute delay, the man shouted an anti-Semitic slur at a flight attendant and appeared to threaten another passenger.

In a statement, American Airline told DailyMail.com: ‘Prior to the departure of American Airlines Flight 2506 flying from Tampa (TPA) to Philadelphia (PHL), law enforcement was called to the aircraft due to a cabin malfunction involving a disruptive factor. was involved. customer.

‘We thank our team for their professionalism and apologize to our customers for any inconvenience caused.’

The Tampa International Airport Police Department did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com’s request for comment.

Video of the altercation, which was posted to X (formally known as Twitter) in three parts, showed the moments leading up to the man’s exit from the plane.

It starts with the man, wearing a white and blue button-down shirt, standing in the middle of the aisle as fellow passengers look on.

“I will confuse you universally and publicly,” he says before turning to a male flight attendant.

“Get off the plane,” a woman says in the background.

Female passengers begin to argue whether the man brought a bag on board or not, as he continues to argue with the airline employee.

He then moves to a window seat and sits down as a female flight attendant says, “Do you have a bag or anything else you want to grab before you get off?”

The irate passenger responds, “Um, you’re all attacking me two individuals against one?”

The male flight attendant then speaks to another passenger sitting behind him, while the angry man says he “didn’t hit anyone.”

“Yes, yes, yes, is it okay to raise my voice at a woman? I’ll look into it with you,” he says.

The flight attendant then looks at him again and says, “What?”

As surprised passengers look on, the passenger continues walking and says, “You’re human.”

The passenger, wearing a white and blue striped button-down, caused a huge scene during the flight while sitting on the runway and experiencing a 30-minute delay

“And that’s because I’m sitting and lower than you?”

He’s like, “You wanna be a badass, bruh?”

He then turns to a woman on board and says, “I’m moving, I’m moving, and you know what?”

‘You work together. Do you see that most of the people here are white? Yeah, so you were like, “ahhhhh.”

As irritated passengers engage him in conversation as the plane sits on the runway, the man continues, saying, “I’m trying to get to my home country and you all have made it harder for me to get to my home country!”

A woman then answers him and says, “We don’t know where you’re going!”

“I’m telling you, I’m telling you,” he says, pointing his finger at other passengers.

He then says, “No, no, no, no,” and pats the head of the man behind him, calling him the “man with the white hair.”

In the third part of the video, the man is still blurting out as a white male passenger, wearing a dark blue hoodie and baseball cap, approaches the unruly airman and tries to take control of the situation.

“Let me see you in the front,” the passenger says to the man in blue.

“Sir, sir,” says a female flight attendant.

“Come forward, because,” the passenger in the hat says to the loud man as he sends him out of his seat.

“Let me see the big man,” he says as he steps out of the chair and into the aisle with the man in blue.

As the belligerent man steps outside, he appears menacingly placing his face directly in front of the man in blue, who says, “Yes, if you put your hands down….”

“Hey, I didn’t get in your face, you told me to leave,” he replies.

The man in blue, approaching him as an unruly passenger, appears to gesture with his hand in his face to tell the disruptive man to back up, while the angry passenger waves a piece of paper and tells the flight attendant that he has a ticket .

The belligerent passenger then turns back around after the man in blue taps him on the back and says, “Let’s go!”

“Yes, yes, touch me, you fool,” the disruptive man says to the fellow airman in the aisle as he straightens his arms.

It is unclear whether anyone was arrested or injured in the incident. Tampa International Airport police did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com's request for comment about the altercation

The female employee then pulls out a walkie-talkie and says “311” as the two men begin pushing each other in the middle of the aisle.

As they stroll around, they bump into other passengers in the aisle, while others pull out their phones and film the chaotic scene.

The flight attendant then calls for help again while the man in the hat takes the irate passenger and puts him in a headlock.

“You get it, right? Do you understand? Put your hands down and don’t touch anyone,” the passenger in blue shouts at him as his face turns bright red.

From the corner of the frame, a woman wearing a gray Ron Jon Surf Shop shirt and a backwards orange hat intervenes.

She puts her hand on the man who has the other in a chokehold and says, “I’m a police officer.”

“Me too,” he answers.

“I’m here, look, look, I’m here,” she says, trying to de-escalate the situation.

The man then asks the now silent passenger, “Are you going to walk or are you going to be nice?”

He then shouts and tells the man to run. He lets go of his neck before grabbing him again and pushing him forward.

With the other man’s hand over his mouth, the unruly passenger says, “I’m schizophrenic.”

“Me too, walking,” says the passenger holding him.

He is then escorted off the plane by the man while a group of passengers follow him.

Another man with a tattoo sleeve on his arms and glasses is seen squeezing him by the back of his neck as the other pushes forward.

“I’ve never seen this before,” says the female flight attendant.

It is unclear whether anyone was arrested or injured in the incident.

IF referees would only show a little common sense.

Mike Dean probably still wakes up with a start in the middle of the night with that patronizing phrase ringing in his ears.

PTSD from hearing the same old story while serving as one of our most distinguished officials.

So why, now that he is retired, he cannot apply this to Sunny Singh Gill’s case is anyone’s guess.

From his pulpit at Sky Sports, whistleblower and pundit Dean wasted no time in spoiling Gill’s Premier League debut as he signed a few autographs for some kids at half-time at Crystal Palace last Saturday.

This man, who was in charge of an FA Cup final and high-level European matches, described the novice referee’s actions as “outrageous”, and called in one of his own matches.

And with that, Dean provided a tasty soundbite for his employers in the gallery.

Besides, if you don’t know who Dean is, and when you turn on the television on a Saturday afternoon, you can easily look up him as himself in old episodes of Ted Lasso.

Gill is the first referee of British South Asian descent to officiate in the Premier League. So that makes him a bit of a story.

In the 70s and 80s, instead of being asked to write his name in a little boy’s scrapbook, chances are he would have been called ‘P**ib*****d’ as he walked out, ready for the second half.

CHELTENHAM BETTING OFFERS – BEST FREE BETTS FOR THE FESTIVAL

His father Jarnail probably became all too familiar with the lyrics of the song ‘one, two, three the lights are flashing’. . . ‘ as the first Sikh to become an English football referee.

So seeing his son absorb the history of the occasion and enjoy the interaction with young, white supporters is a turn-out-the-light moment.

Will Pugh and Rob Maul discuss the chances of Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool in the Premier League title race

A sign that while people in football from any ethnic minority, or of non-white skin, face worrying levels of racist abuse on social media, there is hope when people meet in person.

As far as we know, Gill did not charge £50 each for his autograph.

Maybe that’s the problem some ex-“celebrity” references have with it.

And he did not appear to be aware that TV cameras scanning the stadium had captured this unprecedented, volatile exchange between a referee and some young fans.

There was also more criticism from other ex-referees, who claimed Gill is there to officiate while on duty – and not with a happy hand and to make it all about him.

While that’s insensitive, it’s at least a credible argument about referees keeping their distance and maintaining the air of authority.

However, it is probably safe to assume that Gill did not walk through the tunnel area during the break at Palace’s home match with Luton and announce his name to everyone within earshot.

It is likely that the small child asked for his autograph.

And if so, what should Gill actually do?

Imagine the outrage if countless TV cameras had happened to see footage of the first Premier League referee of British South Asian descent ignoring the pleading face of an angelic little boy asking to sign in his scrapbook.

What will that do for race relations and the diversity dream in this country?

It’s almost as if Gill is damned if he does, and damned if he doesn’t.

What we need most of all is for people to show common sense.

James Marsden and other celebrities wrote letters of support for shamed Brian Peck after he was accused of the child sexual abuse of Drake Bell in 2003.

In August 2003, Nickelodeon dialogue coach Peck – now 63 – was arrested and charged with nearly a dozen counts related to allegations that he had sexually abused an unnamed minor.

Peck subsequently pleaded no contest to performing a lewd act with a 14-or 15-year-old and to oral copulation with a minor under 16 – with Bell – now 37 – claiming he was the unnamed minor who was abused by Peck aged 15 when he appeared on The Amanda Show.

Now Investigation Discovery’s docuseries Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV has unsealed 41 letters of support sent to the judge in the case, revealing Marsden was one of the most prominent figures asking for probation – rather than jail time – for Peck.

Journalist Kate Taylor notes it is is ‘unclear how much Peck’s friends knew about the charges against Peck’ when they penned the letters.

Marsden wrote in the letter seen by USWeekly: ‘I can easily say that Brian is one of the reasons why I have been as successful as I have been in this industry. I was lucky enough to have been graced with Brian’s guidance, uncommissioned guidance I might add, and support in pursuing an acting career.

Saying Peck was his ‘mentor’ he added: ‘I don’t mean to dramatize this but I am speaking wholeheartedly about a man whose heart is pure and no matter what you’re talking about, his intentions are always good. He has such an amazing capacity to care about people. This, I find, is very rare. Especially in Hollywood. Brian genuinely cares about other human beings.’

He compared Peck’s suffering after his arrest to that of ‘a hundred men and wrote: ‘When I first heard the news of Brian’s arrest I couldn’t breathe. I could not believe what was happening. It was unimaginable.

‘I’ve known Brian for 14 years and never once did I ever see any sign of him being capable of something like this. I have lived at his house for months and shared hotel rooms with him and never once did he ever make me feel compromised or uncomfortable in any way. I don’t know what it would take to have something like this occur, whatever it is, it is extremely out of character for Brian.’

Marsden was also mentioned in  X-Men producer Thomas DeSanto‘s letter of support – Peck was Marsden’s best man at his wedding to Lisa Linde in 2000.

DailyMail.com has contacted Marsden’s representative for comment.

Taran Killam, 41, also praised Peck in a letter writing: ‘Over the years, Brian has become one of my dearest friends. I know him quite well on both a professional and personal level. Brian has to be one of the most well liked people I have ever known. I think this has to do a great deal with his generosity, genuine concern for other’s well being, and especially his honesty.

‘When I found out about Brian being arrested I was shocked. Brian is the last person I would expect to be charged with criminal activities. My first thought was, ‘This is a mistake.’ I know many of our mutual friends had similar thoughts. I have seen the effects this situation has had on Brian and I know for a fact that he regrets any mistakes made and that this is certainly not something that would ever happen again.”

‘There has yet to be a set that I work on, where someone doesn’t know Brian, and also doesn’t think the world of him. He honestly is one of the most well liked, well-respected people in this business.’

Boy Meets World co-stars Rider Strong, 44, and Will Friedle, 47, who met Peck when he guest-starred on their show also wrote letters to the judge.

One read: ‘It was extremely disturbing to learn of Brian’s arrest. Maliciousness is so antithetical to his nature, it is impossible for me to comprehend a situation that would lead him to do something illegal or even inappropriate. I immediately called him and offered whatever support I could. Of course, Brian being Brian, he had already received numerous such calls.’

Strong revealed on his  Pod Meets World podcast last month that he didn’t know about the charges against Peck – who he says lied about the abuse.

He said: ‘He didn’t say that nothing had happened. So by the time we heard about this case and knew anything about it, it was always in the context of, ‘I did this thing, I am guilty. I am going to take whatever punishment the government determines, but I’m a victim of jailbait.

‘There was this hot guy! I just did this thing and he’s underage.’ And we bought that story line,” Strong said. “I never heard about the other things because, back then, you couldn’t Google to find out what people were being charged with. So in retrospect, he was making a plea deal and admitting one thing — which is all he admitted to us — but it looks like he was being charged with a series of crimes, which we did not know.’

Friedle said he regretted attending Peck’s sentencing,

Taran Killam, 41, also praised Peck in a letter writing: 'Over the years, Brian has become one of my dearest friends. I know him quite well on both a professional and personal level' (pictured 2019)

Friedle, meanwhile, expressed regret at attending Peck’s ‘horrifying’ sentencing, saying: ‘We weren’t told the whole story, but it doesn’t change the fact that we did it. I still can’t get the words out to describe all of the things that I’m feeling inside of myself.’

Actor Alan Thicke, who died aged 69 in 2016 said Peck was ‘highly professional and nurturing’ towards young people on set of their show Growing Pains from 1985-1992.

He wrote: ‘Because he was never inappropriate in any way around children, including my own two young sons, I was shocked and saddened to learn of the trouble he was in.

‘Knowing him as I did, I also know beyond a doubt how remorseful he is and how dedicated and focused he will be on his rehabilitation. Brian’s integrity and self-respect have always been important to him and this turn of events has been mortifying to him in ways that will only make him a better, stronger citizen in the future.’

An excerpt of a letter penned by Thicke’s Growing Pains co-star Joanna Kerns, 71, and shown on the documentary read: ‘I can only believe there must have been some extreme situation or temptation exerted upon him to influence his actions.’

Kerns later issued a statement refuting the letter saying: ‘I have now learned that my letter of support was based on complete misinformation. Knowing what I know now, I never would have written the letter.’

Kimmy Roberston, 69, wrote: ‘I believe with all my heart that Brian was pressured and pushed beyond belief before he caved in.’

While directors Rich and Beth Correll who worked with Peck on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody two years after his conviction, also supported him via letter.

In the wake of Quiet on Set the couple released a statement saying ‘they had no input or involvement in the casting of Peck on the Disney show.’

Bell has said on the docuseries how several ‘recognizable’ faces packed into the courtroom on the day of Peck’s sentencing to show their support.

He said: ‘I addressed my statement to everyone in the room. I looked at all of them and I just said, ‘How dare you. You will forever have the memory of sitting in this courtroom and defending this person. And I will forever have the memory of the person you are defending violating me and doing unspeakable acts and crimes. And that is what I will remember.’

DailyMail.com has contacted representatives for comment.

In October 2004, Peck was sentenced to 16 months in prison and mandated to register as a sex offender.

Peck served as a dialogue coach on Nickelodeon’s All That and The Amanda Show, the latter featuring Bell from 1999 to 2002.

Subsequently, Bell took the lead in his own Nickelodeon series in 2004 with Drake & Josh.

A clip from Quiet on Set teases Bell coming forward to discuss Peck.

A press release from Investigation Discovery reads: ‘The clip reveals that former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell will be sharing publicly, for the first time, the story of the abuse he suffered at the hands of Brian Peck, his former dialogue coach who was convicted in 2004 for his crimes against Drake and ordered to register as a sex offender.’

Bell has not provided details about the nature of the abuse he endured.

However, it is anticipated that he may reveal more when Quiet on Set airs later this month

Bell was a popular star on the kid-themed network in the late '90s and 2000s, during which he co-led the series Drake & Josh (pictured, with costar Josh Peck) and appeared on The Amanda Show

In 2015, DailyMail.com exposed that despite his conviction, Peck continued to work on a Disney show and a high school–themed horror film.

He faced restrictions only in direct contact with children, enabling him to be hired in alternative roles, even on projects prominently involving children and teenagers.

According to court documents obtained by DailyMail.com, Peck had visited the minor actor at his home for acting coaching during the incident. He was apprehended after the young actor’s parents reported the abuse to the police.

Peck eventually entered a no-contest plea to two counts from the initial 11 charges, as the rest were dismissed.

Throughout the 2000s and 2010s, he sustained minor acting roles and worked as a dialogue coach. His last credited acting appearance, according to IMDb, was in 2018.

It remains uncertain whether those hiring Peck were aware of his status as a convicted sex offender, though his IMDb page does acknowledge his criminal conviction.

Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV is a four-part docuseries that exposes the toxic work environment prevalent in children’s shows during the 1990s and early 2000s.

The focus is particularly on productions associated with Dan Schneider, the creator of cherished Nickelodeon series like iCarly and Zoey 101.

Child actors and crew members previously spoke to Business Insider about disturbing sexualized scenes that Schneider wrote for some of his series, and he alleged urged his young female stars to wear revealing clothing on camera.

The showrunner was also accused of repeatedly requesting massages at work, according to a 2000 gender-discrimination and hostile-workplace lawsuit from a writer on The Amanda Show. The suit was settled out of court.

Quiet On Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV airs on March 17 and 18 on Investigation Discovery.

Adult film star Sophia Leone has died after being found unconscious in her apartment earlier this month, her family has confirmed.

The Miami-born adult film star, 26, was found in her home by relatives on March 1.

Mike Romero, her stepfather, said local police are still investigating the cause of her death GoFundMe page.

Romero wrote on the memorial fundraising page: “Sophia was found unconscious in her apartment by her family on March 1, 2024.

“An investigation by local police into the cause of death is currently ongoing.”

Romero described Leone as a “beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and friend.”

He also wrote that she had a “deep love” for animals, including her three pets.

The Latina actress reportedly started her career before she turned 20 and has a net worth of over one million dollars.

Leon was scouted by an agent while attending a music festival in Miami and after some research, decided to join the industry.

For over a century, International Women’s Day (IWD) has been celebrated across the globe to highlight the extraordinary achievements of ordinary women. Held annually on March 8, I used to think it was a positive day. This year, however, I just feel angry.

Although proud of the progress we’ve made, we find ourselves fighting on a new front — and in the unimaginable position of seeing hard-won rights being rolled back.

Incredibly, we’re at a point when even the word ‘woman’ is controversial. We’ve become ‘cervix-havers’, ‘uterus-owners’ and in extreme cases ‘non-men’. Politicians, meanwhile, flounder when asked: ‘What is a woman?’ As an MP as well as a mother, it makes me despair.

The reluctance to defend women and girls is due to a small but very vocal group of trans activists, determined to let men self-identify as women, under the guise of ‘gender ideology’.

What started as an attempt to ensure that a very small minority of people with ‘gender dysphoria’ (those who feel there’s a mismatch between their biological sex and their gender identity) were not discriminated against has morphed into a powerful global movement which allows men to claim to be women.

ROSIE DUFFIELD explains why she feels angry on this year’s International Women’s Day

By uttering the magic words ‘I am a woman’ or ‘I identify as a woman’, suddenly men can enter female-only spaces such as refuges for the victims of rape or domestic abuse. This is without any commitment to have gender reassignment surgery or take hormones — not that that would make them women anyway.

It was inevitable that predatory men would take advantage of this. It is why we are seeing male abusers, rapists and murderers being called ‘she’ and ‘her’ in court and in many countries gaining access to women’s prisons.

I am proud to stand with a group of courageous women who are fighting back. We have taken part in this Mail photoshoot to raise awareness on the eve of International Women’s Day. Known as ‘gender criticals’ or ‘sex realists’, we believe in some — not all — circumstances, the sex of a person really matters.

This might sound like common sense, but we have all faced a backlash for saying as much. Labelled ‘Nazis’ and ‘bigots’, many of us have received rape and death threats. Some have been victims of doxxing (where names and addresses are published online), stalked and, in the worst cases, suffered physical abuse.

I’ve had death threats and each week some man or other emails saying he would like to ‘re-educate’ me. Although MPs are used to hostility in Westminster, sometimes I feel not a soul is on my side. Even some Labour MP colleagues are hostile towards me in the chamber.

It’s also obvious I’ve been ‘softly cancelled’ from television and radio debates. I used to be invited onto political TV panel shows every few weeks with colleagues such as Jess Phillips. Jess is still asked, but it is years since I was.

Sometimes I feel utterly exhausted by it all. What gives me hope and strength is this army of women who stubbornly refuse to ‘budge up and make way’ for men who claim to represent us. We will not hand over our rights easily. We’ve had enough.

We are fighting to preserve the right to female-only spaces — from refuges to prisons — and wish to protect the safety, dignity and privacy of women too vulnerable to speak up themselves.

WHO’S WHO ON THE FRONTLINE?

By Claudia Connell

HEATHER BINNING

Ex-diplomat and businesswoman Heather Binning set up the Women’s Rights Network in 2021. She says: ‘Thousands of women are bullied into silence for fear they may lose their jobs or relationships. This verges on the dystopian.’

MAYA FORSTATER

Sex Matters executive director Maya Forstater’s landmark employment tribunal ruled she was discriminated against when she lost her job over sex-based beliefs. She says: ‘It’s time for all parties to stand up for women’s rights. Unless politicians are clear that women are a group that needs protection on the basis of sex, then women’s rights will be ignored.’

CATHY LARKMAN

Cathy Larkman, a retired South Wales Police superintendent, is national policing lead and Wales co-ordinator at the Women’s Rights Network. She says: ‘Those in charge of the police service appear to have forgotten that women are part of the public they serve and that self ID is not the law in this country. They are allowing male sex offences, even rapes, to be recorded as a female crime.’

EMMA BATEMAN

Former co-chair of Green Party Women, Emma Bateman is taking legal action against the party for expelling her over her views: ‘Countless women have been labelled bigots simply for recognising that in some circumstances, sex matters.’

SONYA DOUGLAS

Artist Sonya Douglas, on the advisory board of Freedom in the Arts and Sex Matters, says: ‘We’ve seen the chilling effect of a politicised diversity drive in the arts, which has played out in the cancellation of various women. Many feel they have to self-censor or leave the industry.’

SALLY WAINWRIGHT

Co-editor of Women’s Rights, Gender Wrongs and Scottish Lesbians campaigner, Sally Wainwright says: ‘It’s vital adolescent lesbians can be supported by older lesbians rather than being encouraged to transition. The extreme misogyny and lesbophobia of gender-identity ideology needs to be robustly rejected.’

DR KAREN INGALA SMITH

Co-creator of the Femicide Census, a database of UK women killed by men, Dr Karen Ingala Smith says: ‘On average a woman is killed by a man every three days in the UK. I want to see a government that genuinely aims to end men’s violence against women, girls and children.’

FIONA MCANENA

Campaign director at Sex Matters, Fiona McAnena spent five years at Fair Play for Women. She says: ‘If it says it’s a women’s team or a female-only gym, swimming session, bike ride or yoga class then that’s what it must be.’

HELEN JOYCE

Advocacy director for Sex Matters, Helen Joyce is a journalist and author. She says: ‘Listen to women when we say “no” and don’t bully and intimidate us when we dare to speak. I won’t say trans women are women, because doing so is a lie that harms our rights.’

Every day my inbox is filled with messages from UK women who are frightened, furious, or both. They are unsure if they can ask for a female carer for their elderly mother’s intimate care. They despair that single-sex changing rooms are vanishing. Their daughters tell them that a boy who is identifying as a girl has joined the girls’ sports team at school and they’re scared to speak out.

Happily, we are gaining ground in this battle, albeit slowly.

Maya Forstater lost her job at a think tank for expressing ‘gender-critical’ views — but won a landmark employment case. Now we can no longer be discriminated against over our views on sex and gender in a democratic society.

The Civil Service, once wholly captured by ‘gender ideology’, was the first to set up a Sex Equality and Equity Network (SEEN) to ensure that discrimination against women could not prevail.

These networks are now cropping up in the police, HR organisations and the City.

It is a different matter in the NHS, however. Women who work in it tell me they’re scared to speak up when terms describing women’s bodies are being changed and corrupted. Yet social politics should be nowhere near public health. The NHS is there to cure people, and if women need a female doctor for an intimate examination, they should be allowed to ask for one without being labelled a bigot.

As for schools, I’ve had emails from headteachers begging for help in handling more and more children identifying out of their own sex. Recent guidance was of help but didn’t go far enough.

Children struggling with their identities need mental health support, compassionate care and to be treated on a case-by-case basis.

In sport, boys and men worldwide are entering female categories as they ‘identify’ as girls and women — surprise, surprise, they go on to smash female records. Some are even insisting on dressing in female changing rooms, which can be incredibly distressing for many women and girls.

And it’s not limited to high-profile sporting events. Just this week, Kenwood Ladies’ Pond members voted to continue to allow male bathers in if they identified as women. This was despite opposition from many women who feel uncomfortable or threatened by ‘women’ with male genitalia in their space.

Yet thanks to women such as Fiona McAnena, who until recently headed up Fair Play for Women, there are now rules to protect female categories in sports such as swimming and cycling, which are now banning males.

I applaud sporting legends such as tennis ace Martina Navratilova and Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies who have spoken about the dangers and injustice to women.

Hockey, tennis, basketball and squash, however, are still allowing men to be women. We might even see male players in the female categories in archery, weightlifting, rowing and skateboarding at this summer’s Paris Olympics. It’s not fair on the women losing out at elite level but it’s also not fair on the young girls who may be deterred from competing at all.

In politics, speaking up for women is becoming harder. I’ve been labelled a ‘transphobe’ for simply liking a tweet that says only a woman can have a cervix.

In 2019 I gave an account of my experience of domestic abuse to the House of Commons, detailing the months of verbal abuse, humiliation and financial control I’d kept secret from friends and family. Although it brought some members of the Commons to tears, I was still vilified in other quarters.

I’ve also been lied about, betrayed and abused with numerous complaints about my ‘behaviour’. Even my ‘liking’ of certain tweets has been utilised by those who want to see me ousted from politics.

Artist Sonya Douglas, on the advisory board of Freedom in the Arts and Sex Matters, says: ‘We’ve seen the chilling effect of a politicised diversity drive in the arts, which has played out in the cancellation of various women'

Some colleagues have supported my views privately, then gone on television and criticised me. They’re cowards, but it still makes me feel very isolated.

I can’t pretend the criticism and abuse does not take its toll both emotionally and psychologically. I sometimes wonder how much more I can take. But again, I find strength and solace in knowing I am not alone.

I’m lucky to have author J. K. Rowling as a friend. Famously, she has received a barrage of vile abuse and death threats for speaking out, and yet every time she does she helps more of us be braver. Kind and funny, she has often leapt to my defence on social media.

Another group under attack are same-sex-attracted women. There was much derision when I spoke out about how lesbians are being ‘pressurised into dating so-called lesbians with a penis’, but it’s true.

A barrister friend who is currently dating will send me screenshots of the people on her dating apps, many of them heterosexual men who are simply calling themselves ‘lesbian’. This is grossly offensive to her and other lesbians. But if women complain, they are called all sorts of names and are thrown off the dating app themselves.

Violence against women is another issue I feel passionately about, due to my own experiences.

Every year around the time of International Women’s Day, in the House of Commons, my colleague Jess Phillips reads out the names of women murdered by men.

Last week her list included the names of 98 women, at least half of whom, she said, could have been saved.

It makes grim listening but is necessary to highlight that men’s violence against women is not abating.

Today, we are asking women everywhere to help us stand up for the most vulnerable women and girls.

Trans extremism might not affect you personally but it does affect those in prison, those in care, those who are too scared to speak out about their experiences.

Being ‘gender-critical’ does not mean you are ‘anti-trans’, whatever the activists may tell you. I’ve always fully supported the rights of all trans people to live freely as they choose. But women’s rights are sacred, too, and sometimes the sex of a person really matters.

Write to your local politicians in support of female-only rape refuges or domestic abuse shelters.

If your child is at school or plays sports, ask about single-sex changing facilities. And if you find out that a brand or retailer is helping to erode women’s rights, take your money elsewhere.

Join our irrepressible army of women and let’s stand together with a common goal. They can threaten us, ghost us, cancel us. But we will march on.

Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks star Captain Charlie Griffin reportedly died in a boating accident on Monday.

The reality TV star with his dog Leila at the time of the wreck that claimed both their lives near Pea Island in Dare County, North Carolina.

The announcement was made on Facebook this week.

“It is with the deepest sadness that we report that Charlie Griffin and his beloved dog, Leila, died today, March 4, in a boating accident,” the note said.

“Please keep family and friends in your thoughts and prayers. We will remember Griff forever!’

The U.S. Coast Guard also posted about Charlie’s death.

“On the morning of 4/3/24, the US Coast Guard received a report of an overdue vessel en route from Virginia to Wanchese, NC,” the statement began.

‘The 35’ ship was subsequently located off Pea Island and the body of Charles Griffin Jr (Charlie Griffin) of Wanchese, NC and his (deceased) dog were recovered near the same land.

“The ship appears to have capsized somewhere near Oregon Inlet.

‘Officers are still searching for a second occupant who was on board the ship.

“North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission is leading the ongoing investigation, along with assistance from officers from US Fish and Wildlife, National Park Service, NC Marine Fisheries, Dare County Sheriff’s Office and the US Coast Guard.”

It is not known who the other person was.

In an effort to locate the missing second sailor, the Coast Guard said they were searching the coastline with ATVs and a cutter on the water.

A helicopter departing from USCG Elizabeth City conducted an aerial search.

But it started to rain and get foggy, calling off the search.

The last contact with the boat was around 6:15 p.m. on March 3 and the boat was near Nags Head at the time, a Coast Guard spokesperson told 13News Now.

Griffin was a native of Wilmington, North Carolina.

She told her followers that she and her 67-year-old mother were enjoying a live performance at a bar on the third night of their cruise when a woman sitting next to her “wouldn’t shut up.” .’

“She’s been talking to you this whole time, brother. She’s yelling from across the bar,” she recalled. ‘It was a distraction and so rude.

‘[At one point]a girl asked for a specific ballad and the artist started playing it, and [the lady next to me] says, “Boo. Boring.” She even pretended to fall asleep. She was a real horror.’

A furious Theresa said she made a “passive-aggressive” comment to the woman about her non-stop chatting.

As soon as the artist took a break, she said that the lady started talking bad about her to her friend – and that led to a fierce feud between them.

“My mother told me, ‘Ignore her Theresa, she’s rude,’” she continued. “But one thing about my mother is that she’s not very good at volume control.

“She’s an angel, but she doesn’t know much about sound levels. So this girl heard my mom call her rude, and she turned around and said, “Oh, I think you’re the rude one, b***h.”

“She said this to my 67-year-old mother. Every good thought, every good resolution I ever had left my body and flew off into the ocean.

In September 2022, an attorney who specializes in “suing cruise ships” according to his TikTok bio, named Spencer Aronfeld, put a lid on the topic in a viral video.

“My spine straightened, I jumped off my stool, I looked down at her and said, ‘What did you say?’

“She says, ‘You heard me.’ I said, “Yes, I want to hear you say it again.” She said, “You guys are really disrespectful.”

“I said, ‘That’s so crazy, because I think everyone in this bar knows you were the one who was disrespectful, so say it again.'”

“I said, ‘Let’s go outside.’ Never in my life have I had a physical fight, okay? But I felt at this point like every SoulCycle class, every Barry’s Boot Camp, every SolidCore yoga class I’d taken had prepared me to throw a b***h into the Gulf of Mexico.”

Luckily, Theresa said she didn’t end up getting into a physical altercation with the woman because the lady stopped talking and left shortly after.

But her story left many wondering if the ‘cruise prison’ really existed – and what you would have to do to end up there.

‘Do cruise ships have prisons? Absolutely, they are called brigs and it is where passengers and crew end up if they violate the code of conduct or commit violence against another passenger or crew member,” he shared.

He added that brigs are “not typical” prison cells with “bars or sliding doors,” but are instead “cabins on lower decks without windows that can be locked from the outside.”

“There are minimal items in there: a mattress, some toiletries, and that’s it,” he continued.

“Passengers will remain there until they can disembark and be handed over to authorities at the port.”

Spencer explained that if you get into trouble for something less serious, you might be “locked in your” own cabin with a “guard outside.”

A British-based cruise content creator named Emma Le Teace previously spoke to “a former cruise ship security official,” whose identity was not revealed, about the topic before her blogging.

She explained that the prison cells are only used for “serious incidents” and for people “suspected of breaking the law or behaving dangerously or recklessly.”

On the other hand, if a guest is “drunk and disorderly,” she said, a “cabin arrest” will be imposed.

A plane passenger has been left stunned after a fellow traveler on a near-empty south-west flight chose to sit directly behind him – despite there being dozens of other empty seats.

Anthony Thomasa Washington-based chef, took to man chooses to sit in his chair. the spot right behind Anthony.

The chef's image reignited the ongoing debate over airline etiquette – just weeks after an airline passenger drew outrage for putting her feet on someone else's seat and another traveler admitted to wearing her seat belt around her ankles.

Anthony noted that 'of all the seats on the flight' the anonymous traveler had made a very strange decision about his place on the plane, with his choice causing a wave of backlash from other social media users.

Anthony Thomas has sparked outrage after revealing a fellow traveler decided to sit right behind his seat despite the plane being almost empty

He captioned the photo, which showed the total of four passengers – including himself – on the plane: “Imagine having the luxury of boarding a flight with only two passengers on it. Look where he decided to sit, of all the seats on the flight.”

In the photo, Anthony sat in an empty row by the window. Two other passengers spread out in the back of the plane. However, one fellow traveler sat directly behind Anthony.

“I would have been so passive-aggressive if I switched seats,” one person added.

Another person said: 'It doesn't matter my friend. Lean completely back. That's his fault.'

People on the internet were stunned to see the mystery man decide to sit next to him and took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express their anger.

One person said: 'It's like the people who park right next to you and there are loads of available spaces.'

Someone else added: 'I think these people are extremely dependent.'

Another user wrote: 'I'd move to the seat next to him lol.'

“Oh dear, I would be so freaked out that I would have to move,” one user added.

“I would have gotten up and gone to some seats behind him,” one person said.

This isn't the first time flyers have made waves over airplane etiquette.

Just two weeks ago, a frequent flyer caused a stir after showing off a 'dangerous' travel hack that saw her wearing her seatbelt around her ankles in an attempt to be 'more comfortable' during her flight.

In the past, many passengers wondered whether you should change seats while traveling.

Just a month ago, a frequent flyer sent out a PSA to fellow travelers about changing seats after experiencing a nightmare involving having to move five times when he reluctantly gave up his seat to another passenger.

The Unknown Man Took to Reddit to Share His Seat Swap Story That 'Permanently Changed' [his] I'm thinking of being nice and switching places with someone someday.”

He reignited the heated conversation about travel etiquette after a frequent flyer was applauded for refusing to change seats so a woman could sit by the window.

He shared his experiences in a thread dedicated to 'Delta Airlines– adding that the disastrous incident occurred eight years ago while he was on a flight from New York City to Utah.

Another frequent flyer previously revealed she refused to swap her window seat with an 'entitled' passenger who wanted to sit next to his wife.

The unnamed woman took to Reddit to share how she refused to move to a middle seat on an 11-hour flight from New York to Cairo, Egypt, so that the man sitting next to her could sit next to his wife.

The anonymous woman shared her story on the social media platform as a way to rant about the man under a thread captioned: 'TitledPeople', prompting others on the internet to condemn the man for asking someone else to switch to a lower quality seat so he could be happy.

The denial comes months after a man sparked a furious debate when he refused to give up his first class seat for his boss, despite using his own credit card points to do so.

In the past, DailyMail.com's Jaci Stephen even gave her opinion, confessing that she “absolutely refuses” to switch seats, no matter how angry the passenger who wants to switch may get.
