Kanye West is being urged to spend time with his wife Bianca Censori’s father in Australia, according to sources, who claim the architect is ‘hesitant’ to face her father’s wrath over her near-nude outfits and controversial relationship with the rapper.

DailyMail.com previously reported that Bianca’s father Leo was keen to confront his son-in-law – who married the Australian designer in December 2022 – just a month after finalizing his divorce from ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

Now Leo has reportedly requested that Kanye fly to Australia to meet him after his wife expressed fears about his “intimidating” attitude during her visit earlier this month.

“Kanye has been invited to go to Australia and Bianca is hesitant to make it happen because she knows how her father will react,” a source told DailyMail.com exclusively.

“Her father still plans to talk to Kanye, and Leo will not be intimidated by Kanye’s power or control. No one expects this to be all rainbows and family portraits.”

Bianca's mother Alexandra (pictured) and her father Leo have previously expressed their concerns

Bianca’s father Leo (left) and mother Alexandra (right) have previously expressed their concerns to loved ones about their daughter who married the rapper in December 2022

The demand comes after Bianca’s mother Alexandra flew to the US with the intention of ‘saving’ her child, but apparently failed to reach the couple.

“Bianca’s father wasn’t necessarily happy about his wife’s visit to see their daughter because he feels like she has enabled Bianca to keep doing what she does,” the insider continued.

“Yes, Bianca dressed provocatively while her mother was there, but that was nothing compared to some of the outfits she wore before and after the visit.”

Since her mother’s departure, Bianca has made headlines with her striking fashion choices.

Earlier this week, she showed off her bare bottom in a metallic silver micro mini skirt and thong, which she teamed with a triangle bikini top.

In another explicit outfit, she wore sheer, neon green tights, which she paired with a skimpy beige tube top.

The outfit became even more X-rated when her husband pulled down her pantyhose to reveal the top of her bum.

Bianca’s father is said to be disappointed by Alexandra’s inability to help her daughter see through Kanye’s influence, with the source adding: “Alexandra wanted to do this on her own and her father was under the impression that she was going to talk to her about how she introduces himself.

“She was so caught up in the attention and fame of it all that she became somewhat intimidated by Kanye’s influence.”

Earlier this month, Alexandra reportedly flew out “to see for herself” if her daughter is in control of her life.

“Bianca’s mother had to see it for herself after Bianca told her family she had this under control,” a source told DailyMail.com. ‘This was a great opportunity for Alexandra to spend time with Bianca and assess the situation for herself.’

The insider continued, “Alexandra was calm, believing she was coming to save her daughter. But this is not the case. Since the release of Vultures, Kanye has started to turn things around in the sense that he isn’t going on as many unhinged rants.

‘He also knows how to sweet talk a mother. This was a really good experience, and everyone is so relieved to see her with Alexandra.”

Despite the shock her antics would cause to loved ones, Bianca has reportedly claimed that 'she knows what she is doing and she has this under control'

Despite the shock her antics would cause to loved ones, Bianca has reportedly claimed that ‘she knows what she is doing and she has this under control’

Alexandra’s visit came days after sources told DailyMail.com that Bianca had insisted to her loved ones that she was not being coerced by her husband as many feared.

“Bianca has spoken to her family and she has been telling her friends the same thing since she was last home, which is that she knows what she is doing and she has this under control,” they said.

The architectural designer does indeed seem to have a goal in mind when it comes to what she will do with her new level of fame, and she is said to be making smart investments in her marriage.

While many believe the rising fashion star has simply become the Grammy winner’s “trophy wife,” Bianca has long been someone who worked with Kanye to build his empire.

In addition to leading the architecture for Kanye’s Yeezy brand, Bianca is listed as joint officer and manager of Oxpaha LLC, which Kanye founded in October 2023, as of November 2020.

However, her recent behavior has done little to reassure her father

A source explained:

A source explained: “Her father still plans to talk to Kanye, and Leo won’t be intimidated by Kanye’s power or control.”

“She has invested a lot in her marriage to Kanye and her plan is starting to become clear,” the source continued.

“She owns his clothing line, his music — she’s the only model in his latest video and on the cover of Vultures — his real estate investments, and more,” the insider added.

‘She’s a very smart woman and it seems she’s as involved in her outrageous outfits as he is.

“She’s always been daring, but she knows this is her minute and her minute won’t last forever.”

Kanye and Bianca have made significant moves through Oxpaha, with all of Kanye’s recent trademark applications – including garments used for his album release – filed under the company.

A 7,000-square-foot commercial building on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood, which he is believed to use as a multi-use unit for his Yeezy fashion and music businesses, was also purchased last year under Oxpaha.

Bianca was given special power of attorney for the real estate deal, highlighting her importance within the rapper’s business activities.

She was also listed as a business partner in the VZW Acquisition Group for years before she first came into contact with Kanye.

In December, Leo and Alexandra were said to have worried that their daughter was simply a rebound in the wake of Kanye’s divorce from Kim Kardashian – which was finalized in November 2022, less than a month before he married Bianca.

The U.S. military’s V-22 Osprey has been cleared to fly again, three months after an “unprecedented” part defect led to the deaths of eight service members in a crash in Japan, Naval Air Systems Command announced Friday.

The crash in Japan was the second fatal accident in three months and the fourth since March 2022, killing a total of 20 soldiers.

Among them was Marine LCpl. Evan Strickland, 19, who died in an Osprey crash in June 2022, when the MV-22 he was in crashed into the California dessert during a training flight.

Last November, eight Air Force Special Operations Command soldiers were killed when a CV-22B Osprey crashed off the coast of the Japanese island of Yakushima. to a rare fleet-wide grounding of hundreds of Marine Corps, Air Force and Navy Ospreys.

Before approving the Osprey, which can fly like an airplane and then convert into a helicopter, officials said they paid more attention to the proprotor gearbox, placed new restrictions on how it can be flown and had added maintenance inspections and requirements that gave them confidence that it could be done. return safely to the flight.

The US military’s V-22 Osprey has been cleared to fly again, three months after an ‘unprecedented’ part failure led to the deaths of eight soldiers in a crash in Japan

Officials briefing reporters on Wednesday ahead of the lifting of flight restrictions said they quickly grounded the entire fleet in December as it became clear that the way the Osprey component failed in that crash was something they had not done before. had seen on the tiltrotor aircraft.

Although officials did not identify the specific component because the Air Force’s crash investigation remains open, they said they now have a better — but not complete — understanding of why it failed.

“This is the first time we’ve seen this particular component fail in this way. And so this is unprecedented,” said Marine Corps Col. Brian Taylor, V-22 joint program manager at Naval Air Systems Command, or NAVAIR, which is responsible for the service-wide V-22 program.

However, the Defense Department’s decision to go back on the run before the conclusion of separate congressional investigations into the Osprey program drew criticism from the chairman of the House Oversight Committee.

“The DoD is lifting the ground order on the Osprey despite providing the Oversight Committee and the American people with no answers about the safety of this aircraft,” said Representative James Comer, a Republican from Kentucky.

“Serious concerns remain, including the accountability measures put in place to prevent accidents, a general lack of transparency, the way maintenance and operational maintenance are prioritized, and how the DoD assesses risk.”

A former Osprey pilot familiar with the investigation confirmed that the part in question is part of the proprotor gearbox, a crucial system that includes transmissions and clutches that connect the Osprey’s engine to the rotor to turn it.

The services have done a “deep dive” into the proprotor gearbox, and the new safety measures “will address the issues we saw in that catastrophic event,” said the head of Air Force Special Operations Command, Lt. Gen. Tony Bauernfeind , Wednesday. .

“I’m confident we now know enough to start flying again,” he said.

The proprotor gearbox system as a whole is a recurring problem area for the Osprey.

Service safety data obtained by The Associated Press shows dozens of cases in Marine Corps and Air Force Ospreys where power surges, sudden loss of oil pressure due to leaks, engine fires or chipping – where the metal components in the gearbox sometimes release dangerous metal chips – have damaged the proprotor gearbox during the flight, sometimes requiring an emergency landing.

Other components of the proprotor gearbox, including the sprag clutch and input spring, have been factors in previous crashes, and the services have made changes such as replacing those parts more frequently.

The services also look closely at the material the defective part is made of and how it is manufactured, Bauernfeind said. NAVAIR is also conducting further testing to help the services better understand why the component failed.

“It was a single component that failed in such a way that led to catastrophic consequences,” Bauernfeind said.

After testing is completed, he said, some of the operational safety controls now placed on the Osprey may be reduced “to give us more flexibility with the platform.”

The investigation, known as the Accident Investigation Board, will be made public and is expected to be completed within the next two months.

The proprotor gearbox failure was first reported by NBC News.

Japan’s government has also been briefed on the findings and the military’s plan to address the issue, the officials said. Japan also grounded its fleet of fourteen Ospreys after the crash.

Crews have now not flown for more than 90 days – a factor that will make their return to flight more dangerous.

The services said Wednesday they are taking a cautious approach that could take anywhere from 30 days to several months to retrain their crews before their Osprey squadrons can return to normal flying.

The Osprey has been in development for four decades, but only became operational in 2007.

The US military has flown the Osprey for approximately 750,000 hours, relying on its ability to quickly fly long distances as an aircraft and then convert to a helicopter to conduct operations in the Middle East and Africa, where some squadrons of the Marine Corps was given an exemption to ban the flight because it was so critical to the mission.

In China’s future needs, the military has made plans to use the Osprey in the Indo-Pacific to operate on islands that lack the airfields needed for traditional aircraft.

But it has also been a controversial design of the first generation of military tiltrotor technology, which has caused more than 14 major accidents killing 59 people and in some cases leading to the loss of the aircraft, which could cost between 70 and 70 people depending on the situation. and costs $90 million. on the variants.

Neither service is planning new production orders for the V-22, which is produced by a joint venture between Bell Flight and Boeing.

The Army has contracted with Bell Flight to purchase the Osprey’s successor, the Bell V-280 Valor, a tiltrotor like the Osprey, but smaller and with a major design change: the engines remain in a fixed, horizontal position.

The crash in Japan was the second fatal accident in three months and the fourth since March 2022, killing a total of 20 soldiers

The crash in Japan was the second fatal accident in three months and the fourth since March 2022, killing a total of 20 soldiers

On the Osprey, the rotors and the entire nacelle housing the engine and propeller gearbox tilt to a vertical position when flying in helicopter mode.

The Marine Corps operates the vast majority of Ospreys, with more than 240 currently assigned to its 17 squadrons.

Its aviation mission depends on the aircraft’s return to flight, and the Marine Corps aims to keep the Osprey in its fleet through 2050, said Marine Corps Brigadier General for Aviation. General Richard Joyce.

“We can’t take our eyes off the V-22 and the years it will last,” Joyce said.

However, the Air Force, which has the second-most Ospreys in the fleet with about 50 assigned to its special operations mission, suggested Wednesday that it might consider other options.

Early concepts for the Osprey date back to the 1980s, when the Iran hostage crisis revealed the need for an airframe that could move quickly and hover or land like a helicopter, Bauernfeind said.

And it meets that need quite well, but it’s still an older platform, he said. “I think it’s time for us to start talking about the next generation of capabilities that can replace what the V-22 does.”

Brittany Higgins and David Sharaz flew all the way from France for a mediation hearing with her old boss Linda Reynolds.

But the two sides did not face off because the Western Australian Liberal senator wanted her own chamber at the court.

New details could be revealed on Tuesday at the mediation hearing between Ms Higgins, Mr Sharaz and Ms Reynolds.

It comes as Daily Mail Australia can reveal a planned conference of the parties scheduled for Wednesday has been sensationally scrapped.

Brittany Higgins (right) and David Sharaz (left) were pictured leaving the David Malcolm Justice Center in Perth on Wednesday evening after a nine-hour mediation

Senator Reynolds is suing Ms Higgins and Mr Sharaz individually for defamation in the WA Supreme Court over a series of social media posts that she claims have damaged her reputation.

On Monday, Ms Higgins and Mr Sharaz traveled from their new home in Lunas, France, to Perth for a court-ordered mediation session, hoping they could settle the dispute and avoid a costly six-week trial.

The group entered the courtroom at 10 a.m. Tuesday and left just before 7 p.m., without resolution.

Daily Mail Australia understands Ms Reynolds opted for a private room away from the couple on Tuesday, meaning a mediator had to spend the day traveling between the parties.

It is also understood that Mrs Higgins was not allowed to bring a chaperone with her, which is why her best friend Emma Webster was absent.

Ms Webster stood by Ms Higgins during both Bruce Lehrmann’s criminal trial and when Ms Higgins appeared in court for his defamation action against Network Ten and Lisa Wilkinson.

When contacted by Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday, a spokesperson for Ms Reynolds said: “Discussions between the parties are ongoing today.”

“There will be no further comment.”

If the group fails to reach an agreement after the nine-hour session, it could mean the dispute goes to court later this year.

As she went to court on Tuesday morning, Hs Higgins told reporters she believes everyone went to the hearing “in good faith.”

Neither she nor Mr Sharaz answered any questions as they left court with their lawyers later that evening.

Ms Reynolds left with her lawyer Martin Bennett and her partner Robert Reid.

“Long day,” she said, grinning widely to the waiting media.

“It’s still ongoing, so it’s not appropriate for me to comment on it yet.”

Monday’s hearing was held as Judge Marcus Solomon urged the parties to resolve the issue before going to trial, citing the enormous costs often associated with defamation proceedings.

Ms Reynolds’ defamation case centers on social media posts fired by Ms Higgins and Mr Sharaz.

She claims the messages implied she pressured Ms Higgins not to proceed with a complaint to police about her alleged rape, and interfered with Mr Lehrmann’s criminal trial.

Ms Higgins is also accused of breaching a non-disparagement clause in a settlement contract she entered into in 2021, which prevents her from speaking negatively about Ms Reynolds.

The senator is seeking higher damages, an injunction to restrain Ms. Higgins from publishing allegedly defamatory material, and another injunction to restrain her from breaching the settlement agreement.

Ms Reynolds is simultaneously suing Mr Sharaz separately alleging he defamed her in five social media posts, which were allegedly ‘falsely defamatory’ and caused her ‘loss and damage’.

Ms Higgins alleged Lehrmann raped her at Parliament House in 2019, on the sofa of their former boss, Ms Reynolds. Mr. Lehrmann has consistently denied the allegations.

Everyone has a different theory on how to survive long-haul flights, but not all of them stand up to scrutiny.

That’s why we separated fact from fiction, by asking cabin crew and frequent flyers what works and what could make the hours in a crowded metal tube less difficult.

PERCEIVED WISDOM: A meal at the airport gives you more time to sleep on board.

THE REALITY: While it makes sense to maximize your sleep time, the chances of you falling asleep peacefully during the first few hours of a flight are slim. This is when the captain and cabin crew are on the tannoy, the meal carts clatter down the aisles and the lights are on high beam. So go with the flow – eat on board and, once the empty containers have been cleared away, pull down your eye mask.

QUICK FIX: Make long-haul flights easier by investing in noise-cancelling headphones, and don’t be afraid to enjoy a glass of sparkling water on board

PERCEIVED WISDOM: Seats in the emergency exit rows are worth paying for.

THE REALITY: These rows, with extra legroom, can feel less claustrophobic and are great if you’re tall.

But there can be downsides, including the cost of around £50 to £70 to book them, and on many long-haul planes the extra legroom seats near the toilets are placed in the middle of the cabin so you hear the doors slam and flush the entire flight. In addition, you cannot keep your bag on your feet during take-off or landing.

PERCEIVED WISDOM: It is best to avoid alcohol – don’t even drink a drop.

THE REALITY: Alcohol is dehydrating and can affect us more at high altitude than on the ground. But it’s also part of the fun of traveling, especially when it’s free on long-haul flights, so in moderation you should be fine.

Keep in mind that a hangover starts about six to eight hours after drinking, so one too many hangovers at the start of a twelve-hour flight could hit you before you land. It is also dangerous to drink late in the flight when picking up a rental car. Police armed with breathalyzers have been known to target roads near airports, especially on the US East Coast.

PERCEIVED WISDOM: Sleeping pills help you arrive at your destination rested.

THE REALITY: Some frequent flyers swear by the hormone melatonin. Although it’s easy to buy in America, in Britain it’s only available with a prescription, and travel doctor and Holiday SOS author Ben MacFarlane warns against trying something new on a plane – 10,000 meters isn’t the best place for a bad response. Instead, he recommends simple paracetamol.

“It is mainly the hard chairs that prevent us from sleeping,” he says. ‘Take the edge off with a mild painkiller and you’ll dream away safely.’

PERCEIVED WISDOM: It is important to bring a neck pillow.

THE REALITY: They range in price from a few pounds for an inflatable one to £60 or more for memory foam, silk-covered or fleece options. But it’s not a disaster if you fly without a seat, as the new generation Economy seats have plenty of support built in. BA’s latest headrests are designed to collapse on each side and enclose your head like a pillow.

PERCEIVED WISDOM: Having a lot of toys distracts young children.

THE REALITY: Toys are a great way to keep the kids busy, but beware: choosing the wrong toy can make everything worse. One to avoid is Lego, because no one wants to crawl under chairs looking for lost pieces. You should also avoid anything that beeps or makes an electronic noise unless you don’t mind being the most hated family on the plane.

PERCEIVED WISDOM: Teenagers will be happy with the screens on the seat backs.

THE REALITY: These days, it’s unlikely there’s anything on the plane’s entertainment system that young people haven’t streamed at home. Instead, let them load content onto their own devices and focus on the number of video games on the inflight system – Emirates has the most, with more than 100. Also give in to the allure of Wi-Fi. Virgin Atlantic is offering an hour for £5.99 or full WiFi from £20.99 – it will be money well spent.

PERCEIVED WISDOM: It is best to sit at the front of each cabin.

THE REALITY: It’s true that booking seats close to the front means you’re more likely to get off the plane and into the immigration queue, which is especially important at busy airports. But the cabin crew says the back of the plane is always emptier, so sit there if you want an empty seat next to you or even a full row to stretch out.

PERCEIVED WISDOM: You can combat jet lag by switching to the time zone you are flying to as soon as you board.

THE REALITY: Going west is tricky because it means having breakfast after takeoff for an afternoon flight to California. Instead, the cabin crew swears by the two-by-two rule: spend two hours eating and watching a movie, two hours napping, two hours snacking and reading, two hours dozing, and so on. Then change your watch to the new time zone when you land.

TEN SIMPLE TIPS FOR A GREAT FLIGHT

  • Beware of cribs. Check the seat plans where the baby baskets are and keep your distance.
  • Move quickly. If you see empty seats after the plane doors close, grab one early. If you cannot move before takeoff, move as soon as the seat belt sign is off.
  • Wrap a cotton pillowcase from home around an inflatable pillow. Fans say this puts the brain into sleep mode.
  • Charm the crew. One passenger is rude, one is friendly… guess who gets extra drinks and snacks.
  • Wear shoes to the toilet, otherwise you’ll spend the rest of the flight wondering if the wet spot on your socks is really water…
  • If you forget your charger, listening to podcasts and audiobooks uses less battery power than movies and games.
  • Put your seat belt over a blanket so the crew can see it and they won’t disturb you while you sleep when turbulence is expected.
  • Low up. The crew says it’s impossible to choose a temperature that will please everyone. Happy flyers have hoodies, vests, scarves or overshirts.
  • Noise-canceling headphones can transform flights. But remember to wear them when you talk, otherwise you’ll be ‘that person’ yelling.
  • Don’t cross your legs. To reduce the risk of deep vein thrombosis, keep them straight, flex your toes occasionally, and stay hydrated.

The crew includes NASA astronauts Matthew Dominick, Michael Barratt and Jeanette Epps, in addition to Russian Alexander Grebenkin.

The successful launch from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida marks SpaceX’s eighth NASA Commercial Crew flight to the ISS.

The mission got off to a rocky start when two previous launch windows were scrubbed by high winds.

Despite a small crack in the hatch seal, engineers concluded that this would not cause enough of a problem to abort the launch a third time.

Crew-8 plans to conduct hundreds of experiments aboard the ISS, including growing artificial replicas of human organs to study how microgravity affects degenerative diseases.

Are you tired of being stuck in traffic jams? Soon you could fly over it in a £235,000 electric car.

Unlike most of its rivals, Alef Aeronautics’ Model A can actually be driven around on the street like a normal car.

But it’s also packed with propellers in the hood and trunk, allowing it to take off at any time and skip the line.

The lightweight two-seater – which should be in production in 2025 – has a road range of 320 kilometers and a flight range of 180 kilometers.

CEO Jim Dukhovny said he wanted to bring science fiction to life and build an ‘affordable’ flying car, which would likely cost closer to £25,000 if built on a large scale.

Unlike most of its rivals, Alef Aeronautics’ Model A can actually be driven around on the street like a normal car

Alef Model A: Key specifications

  1. 100% electric
  2. 200 miles driving range
  3. Flight range of 100 miles
  4. 1-2 occupants
  5. £235,000
  6. Released in 2025

The carbon fiber frame – which is approximately 5.5 meters long and 2.5 meters wide – is designed to fit in any parking space or garage.

To drive on the road, the car uses four small motors in each of the wheels and drives similar to a normal electric car.

This leaves room for eight propellers at the front and back, which rotate independently at different speeds, so it can fly in any direction.

It uses a technology called distributed electric propulsion, where a mesh cover over the rotor blades provides airflow through the vehicle.

Its cruising speed in the air is 180 km/h, while on the road it will be limited to 40 to 55 km/h, despite being able to go much faster.

This is so that the vehicle – which weighs 350kg – can be classified as an ultralight ‘low speed vehicle’, a legal classification reserved for small electric vehicles such as golf carts, to comply with regulations.

Mr Dukhovny claimed that the car, which is intended for the general public, is relatively easy to use and takes only 15 minutes to learn.

The airborne controls are similar to those of a consumer drone.

The Model A differs from most so-called flying cars being designed today because it actually functions like a car, he said, while others on the market are mostly eVTOLS, which are essentially electric helicopters that can fly on their own.

Alef’s founders started working on the concept in 2015 – coincidentally the same date Marty McFly went Back to the Future in the second part of the Hollywood trilogy.

Speaking at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Mr Dukhovny said:

Speaking at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Mr Dukhovny said: “If all goes well, if we have sufficient financing and if regulations remain the same, we should be able to start production by the end of 2025.”

The Model A is currently reserved for £235,000 – around the same as the top Rolls Royce, Bentleys and Aston Martins – but the company aims to sell them much cheaper in the future.

Speaking at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Mr Dukhovny said: “If all goes well, if we have sufficient financing and if regulations remain the same, we should be able to start production by the end of 2025.”

He added: ‘For flying cars to become commonplace, they must be affordable.

‘The fundamental technology behind the Model A is simpler than that of a Toyota Corolla or a Ford Focus, so if we can build high volumes and optimize production, there’s no reason why it should cost more than £25,000.’

Alef Aeronautics’ main backer is billionaire investor Tim Draper, who also financed Tesla.

A Palestinian ‘terrorist’ who hijacked two planes and branded Hamas soldiers responsible for the October 7 attacks as ‘freedom fighters’ could be coming to Australia.

Leila Khaled has been listed as a keynote speaker at the Ecosocialism event in Perth in June, organized by the Socialist Alliance and Green Left.

However, members of the Jewish Australian community have called for her to be banned from entering Australia due to her complicated history as a prominent member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

The now elderly woman is still a member of the extremist Marxist group known for hijacking planes, murders and suicide bombings.

The PFLP is considered a terrorist organization by the United States, the European Union and Canada, while Australia has imposed financial sanctions on the group.

Leila Khaled (pictured) is one of the keynote speakers at the Ecosocialism event in Perth in June, organized by the Socialist Alliance and Groen Links.

The Australian Jewish Association condemned Ms Khaled’s appearance on Ecosocialism in a tweet on Monday.

‘What a great illustration of the fusion of hard-left politics and radical ‘Palestinian’ activism [and] terrorism, in this case aircraft hijacking,” the report said.

The PFLP rose to worldwide prominence in the late 1960s and early 1970s as a result of a series of aircraft hijackings and bombings.

Ms. Khaled was involved in at least two of the group’s hijackings.

In 1969, she helped hijack Trans World Airlines Flight 840, which was traveling from Rome, Italy, to Tel Aviv, Israel, because the group believed the Israeli ambassador to the United States was on board.

No one was injured in the attack, but the hijackers blew up the nose of the plane.

Ms. Khaled was involved in a second hijacking a year later when she attempted to hijack El Al Flight 219 from Amsterdam, Netherlands, to New York City, United States.

She, together with another co-hijacker, threatened to detonate grenades in the plane if the pilot did not allow them into the cockpit.

Gunshots were fired and the plane nosedived before landing.

The Sydney Morning Herald claims the Albanian government has indicated it will not allow Ms Khaled to enter Australia.

In a statement to Daily Mail Australia, a government spokesperson said they were “aware of this matter.”

‘The Migration Act is clear. “All people applying for visas, wherever they come from, are required to undergo security checks – as has been the case under all governments,” they said.

“The government cannot comment on individual cases.”

Ecosocialism organizers have stated that if Ms Khaled is refused entry into Australia, she will still be invited to speak at the conference via video chat.

The Ecosocialism 2024 website describes Ms Khaled as an “iconic Palestinian revolutionary activist, member of the national committee of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and a representative in the Palestinian National Council.”

The government spokesman warned Ms Khaled could be prosecuted if she is found to be inciting terrorism in Australia, even if she speaks from another country.

A government spokesperson warned that Ms Khaled (pictured) could be prosecuted if she is found to be inciting terrorism in Australia, even while speaking from another country

‘Promoting terrorism is a criminal offence [under] Section 80.2 of the Criminal Code,” they said.

“The offense of advocating terrorism may apply even if the person is overseas, provided the consequence of the conduct occurs in Australia. As such, it may even apply if a person appears online rather than in person in Australia.

‘In addition, the Albanian government’s banned symbols legislation, which came into force last month, makes it an offense under Commonwealth law to glorify or praise acts of terrorism.’

More to come.

Geena Davis and Jeff Goldblum reunited at the 30th annual SAG Awards on Saturday over 30 years since their split.

The stunning Oscar winner, 68, and the handsome actor, 71 – who starred together in 1986’s The Fly and were married from 1987 to 1991 – shared the stage to present the night’s top honor, Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

‘The great Geena Davis, everybody,’ Jeff said of his gorgeous ex to kick off their presentation.

The pair then effortlessly reminded fans of their incredible chemistry, exchanging words of encouragement while announcing the nominees — American Fiction, Barbie, The Color Purple, Killers of the Flower Moon, and Oppenheimer — ultimately awarding the honor to Oppenheimer.

The endearing interactions sparked a frenzy on social media, capturing the attention of a younger generation who may have been unaware that these two stars were once Hollywood’s reigning ‘It’ couple.

‘I was today years old when I found out Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis was a thing in real life,’ as another added ‘They were married?!”

‘Awesome to see exes like this still get along’, gushed another.

The pair met on the set of 1985’s Transylvania 6-5000 and were newly single at the time.

Geena had finalized her divorce from restaurateur Richard Emmolo a year ago, while Jeff had recently parted ways with his wife, actress Patricia Gaul, whom he had married in 1980.

“[Our relationship] was joyful. It really was. That was a magical chapter in my life,’ Geena recalled to People in 2022.

They soon signed up to portray ill-fated lovers in David Cronenberg’s 1986 horror-romance, The Fly.

‘Right away we got to work with each other on an incredible project,’ she added. ‘And we were so passionate about that project and loved working on it.’

The movie soared to success, instantly catapulting them into the limelight as a celebrity couple.

They tied the knot a year later and reunited on-screen in 1988 for Earth Girls Are Easy.

As for Jeff, he told GQ that Geena ‘made love, falling in love, so easy,’ calling her ‘purely loving, beguiling, and irresistible.’

Regrettably, their union came to an end in 1990, and the reasons behind their separation remain elusive, with the former couple attributing the usual ‘irreconcilable differences’ without providing a more concrete explanation.

‘I’m sure we’re both pretty sad. We certainly had high hopes, every good intention. It’s upsetting,’ she said after the split to People

Yet, 34 years after their divorce, the telegenic pair still have that same chemistry.

After her split with Jeff, Geena went on to marry her director Renny Harlin on September 18, 1993. She filed for divorce on August 26, 1997.

In December 2021, she finalized her divorce from Reza Jarrahy after separating in 2017.

They were married in September 2001 and share three children — 19- year-old twin sons Kaiis Steven and Kian William, plus 21-year-old daughter Alizeh Keshvar.

Following his divorce from Geena, Jeff would end up meeting Emilie Livingston, a former gymnast, in 2011.

They announced their engagement in July 2014, and tied the knot at the famed Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles on Nov. 8, 2014.

Since then, they’ve welcomed two sons: Charlie Ocean in 2015 and River Joe in 2017.

After a taxing 118-day strike, the Screen Actors Guild honored the best performers in film and television.

Winners were determined by SAG-AFTRA members, who vote for their favorites across a number of categories.

Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjiani announced the nominations earlier this year on Instagram Live, with Barbie and Oppenheimer leading the film nominations with four nods each.

Netflix streamed the ceremony for the first time. Last year’s awards were streamed on Netflix’s YouTube account.

The awards come just months after SAG-AFTRA struck a deal with film studios following a months-long strike with pay in the streaming era and artificial intelligence top issues of concern.

The strike began on July 25, 2023 and a tentative deal was struck on November 8. It formally ended on December 5, 2023 with a 78% yes in voting.

Despite disagreements over the final deal, the outcome was a huge relief for union leaders and the entertainment industry following a grueling few months of strikes.

The boycott coincided with the WGA strike, which lasted from May 2 to September 27.

Travis Kelce has already left Taylor Swift and Australia to fly back to Las Vegas to continue partying with his Kansas City Chiefs teammates.

Kelce recently landed in Sydney on Wednesday to meet girlfriend Taylor Swift and see her perform one of her Eras Tour shows.

TMZ claim the tight end is flying back to Las Vegas to continue celebrating with his teammates after winning the Super Bowl in Sin City earlier this month.

He lands in Las Vegas Saturday morning after flying about 15 hours on a trip similar to Swift’s when she flew from Japan to Nevada for the Super Bowl.

The celebration is said to have been planned since the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime.

Travis Kelce has left Taylor Swift in Australia to fly back to Las Vegas to party with the Chiefs

It will be Kelce’s third trip to Vegas in two weeks. He was there earlier this week to play some golf and relax with friends before heading off to meet Swift in Australia.

The tight end was fully embraced by his girlfriend’s loyal group of fans at the Accor Stadium on Thursday evening.

In one clip the show featured a grinning Kelce trading friendship bracelets with the Swifties. In another videohe waved to screaming fans as he walked by.

Swift decided to nod twice to her friend in the audience through her lyrics during the show.

During the second verse of her song “Long Live” from her album “Speak Now,” Swift sang the line “We are the kings and the queens / You traded your baseball cap for a crown / When they gave us our trophies / And we kept them for our city.’

When mentioning trophies, Swift held up her guitar and appeared to point toward Kelce in the audience.

That drew cheers from the capacity crowd at Accor Stadium in Sydney’s Olympic Park suburb.

Later in the show, Swift got an encore of her modified “Karma” lyrics, in which she once again sang “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs” instead of “guy on the screen.”

Kelce landed in Australia on Thursday, just a few days after winning Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas against the San Francisco 49ers.

They reportedly stayed together at the luxury hotel Crown Towers in a suite that cost more than $16,300 USD ($25,000 AUD).

Swift and Kelce also visited Sydney Zoo during their time in the city – a move that was criticized by animal rights group PETA.

The animal rights nonprofit released a statement saying the couple should “spend their time and money in a real shelter.”

In a shared statement, PETA Foundation Captive Animal Welfare Director Debbie Metzler said: “While we understand all too well the appeal of seeing wildlife in Australia, PETA hopes that the next time Taylor and Travis want to see wildlife see, they will spend their time and money in a real retreat.’

The pop star and her NFL boyfriend had a date at the 16.5-hectare site earlier this week ahead of Swift’s three concerts in Australia’s largest city, even petting a small kangaroo.

While Kelce is just entering his offseason, it’s a busy time for Swift. She will play three more shows in Sydney before an extended six-night stay in Singapore.

She will then take a break of almost two months before continuing her Eras Tour in Europe.

More to follow.

Farmers protest: The Shambhu border near Ambala resembled a war zone as protesting farmers destroyed barricades and hurled stones at Haryana police, who responded with tear smoke grenades and rubber bullets to disperse the agitators stationed at the border and trying to disperse the national capital Delhi to march in to put pressure on the government. to accept their demands.

Footage shared by Haryana Police on social media showed protesters throwing stones at security personnel and trying to march towards the barricades. However, the farmers were stopped by the police personnel who used anti-riot measures, including tear gas shells, to push them back.

The chaos broke out a day after inconclusive talks between Union ministers and farmer leaders remained inconclusive. A new round of talks between the two parties is scheduled for Sunday.

On the fourth day of the farmers' 'Delhi Chalo' march, called by the farmer unions, the agitators clashed with police at the Shambhu border as they tried to move towards Delhi.

The 'Dilli Chalo' march has been called by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (non-political) and the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha, to put pressure on the government to accept their demands, including a legal guarantee of minimum support price (MSP) for crops.

'Ruckus' cannot be allowed

In a series of videos shared by the Haryana Police on their X-handle, the protesting farmers can be seen throwing stones in an alleged attempt to 'provoke' the police manning the Shambhu border.

Haryana Police went to X and claimed that “ruckus” cannot be allowed under the guise of farmers' movement. They said 25 security personnel – 18 from Haryana Police and seven paramilitary jawans – were injured in these clashes.

One of the videos showed many young protesters with their faces covered throwing stones at security personnel. In another video, protesters were seen collecting rocks to throw at security personnel.

Farmer leaders condemn the police action

Meanwhile, farmer leaders spearheading the 'Delhi Chalo' call alleged that Haryana security personnel used 'force' against protesters by throwing tear gas shells and firing rubber bullets at them, injuring many.

Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher accused the Center of 'suppressing' the voices of the protesters and alleged that the social media accounts of farmers and YouTubers have been suspended.

The farmers from Punjab started their march towards Delhi on Tuesday but were stopped by security personnel at Shambhu and Khanauri points on Punjab's border with Haryana. The protesters have remained at the two border points since then.

Protester dies of heart attack

On the fourth day of the protest, a 63-year-old farmer, who was among the demonstrators at the Shambhu border, died of a heart attack on Friday.

According to officials, Gian Singh, from Gurdaspur district of Punjab, complained of chest pain in the morning and was taken to Civil Hospital in Rajpura of Punjab. From there, he was rushed to Rajindra Hospital in Patiala where doctors declared him brought dead.

Government 'suppresses' the voice of farmers

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Pandher said that during the meeting with Union ministers a day ago, we “raised the issue of suspension of internet and Twitter (now X) handles of farmer leaders”.

Also claiming that the government has suspended the accounts of around 70 YouTubers who showed the farmers' protest, he said it seems like “the government wants to suppress our voice.”

Pandher said that during the talks they raised the issue of use of 'force' against farmers by the paramilitary personnel who fired tear gas shells at the protesters. He claimed that around 70 farmers have suffered serious injuries.

He said the talks with the Union ministers were held in a positive atmosphere and various demands of the protesters, including a law on MSP and debt waiver, were discussed.

The government said they wanted to continue talks, Pandher said, adding that their 'Delhi Chalo' call still stood and the protesters remained at the Punjab-Haryana border so that a solution could emerge through talks.

On Thursday, during the meeting with ministers, Pandher said they had raised the issue of teargas shelling by the paramilitary forces on farmers at the Shambhu and Khanuri border points. He said they showed the grenades to ministers during the meeting.

Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal demanded the release of farmers arrested or detained by Haryana Police.

Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Arjun Munda, Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal and Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai represented the Center at Thursday's meeting. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema also participated in the meeting.

After the five-hour talks on Thursday evening, Munda said: “We will find a solution by sitting together.”

'Bharat Bandh'

Meanwhile, farmers loyal to different factions held demonstrations at various places in Punjab and Haryana in response to a call for a 'Bharat Bandh' by a farmers' organisation, causing inconvenience to commuters.

While there was a partial response to the bandh in Haryana, markets and commercial establishments remained closed at several places in Punjab. Protesters blocked national highways in Pathankot, Tarn Taran, Bathinda and Jalandhar in Punjab. They also besieged several toll plazas in both states.

In Haryana's Hisar, bus services on national highways remained paralyzed as Haryana Roadways staff supported the call for 'Bharat Bandh'. Punjab Roadways, Punbus and PRTC Contract Workers' Union also supported the bandh call, while private operators did not operate buses.

Besides a legal guarantee of MSP, the farmers are demanding implementation of Swaminathan Commission recommendations, pension for farmers and farm laborers, waiver of farm debts, no increase in electricity tariff, withdrawal of police cases and “justice” for the victims of the disaster of 2021. Lakhimpur Kheri violence, reintroduction of the Land Acquisition Act, 2013, and compensation for the families of the farmers killed during an earlier unrest in 2020-2021.
