Dame Deborah James’ mother has revealed the heartbreaking life advice the bowel cancer campaigner gave to her children shortly before her death.

The mother of two passed away in June 2022 at the age of 40 after a five-year battle with colon cancer.

To commemorate Mother’s Day, Heather James, 66, reflected on her daughter’s final weeks and how she prepared her children for life without her.

Speak with The sunthe Woking gymnastics coach explained how Deborah had a moving conversation with Hugo and Eloise days before her tragic death.

Heather said: ‘The weekend before she died, she told them to live a life worth living.’

“You never know when life will be taken from you, so take every moment and live,” she said. I try to follow that mantra too.’

Elsewhere in the interview, Heather said Deborah encouraged her to break the habit of “saving the best things for holidays and holidays.”

She added, “Deborah would tell me! She was the opposite: she wore her favorite dresses just because.

“I’ve been trying to channel that bold, bright outlook since she died.”

Yesterday, Heather James shared a Mother’s Day tribute to her daughter with her 106,000 Instagram followers.

She wrote: ‘Mother’s Day makes you realize how much you enjoyed the wonderful times you had with your children growing up. You think about all the magical moments you spent together and the fun you had.

‘But today is also a time to remember family members who are sadly no longer with us – for me I think of my own mother who died in 2016 at the age of 90 – for her family was at the center of her life and as she grew older , she loved being with her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her so much joy and love.

‘Of course this is a time when I remember Deborah and think of the good times she had with her own family and with us, and it makes me realize again how much we all still miss her – today with her own children was always a of her special times.

“My love to all of you on this day and I think especially of those who have lost a mother or child at this time. Xx’

In her latest You, Me and the Big C podcast, released in May 2022, Deborah bid an emotional farewell to her loyal listeners and revealed she had decided to spend her days at her parents’ bungalow in Woking to spend her save children from constant problems. memories in their home in London.

‘It’s the kind of place where, strangely enough, I’ve always wanted to die. I have always had that in mind,” Debora said at the time. ‘I think I always knew I didn’t want to be in my house in London. It doesn’t feel good to me.’

Her mother Heather was a constant support to the former deputy headteacher turned cancer activist, who was living with stage four bowel cancer after being diagnosed in December 2016.

She was by her side during countless hospital stays, participated in Deborah’s viral “chemo dances,” in which the pair shook a leg to help the host through another cycle of chemotherapy, and cared for her grandchildren “at a moment’s notice.” ‘.

Five months after Deborah’s death, her daughter Eloise modeled a limited edition Christmas jumper to raise money for her BowelBabe charity.

Eloise wore a white jumper with the words ‘Rebellious Hope’ and holly on the lettering as part of their family’s festive fundraising campaign.

Deborah launched ‘Rebellious Hope’ T-shirts earlier this year to raise money for her BowelBabe fund and her family have continued fundraising in her memory.

Deborah’s ‘Rebellious Hope’ T-shirts have already raised more than £1.68 million for the fund and her family said they hope the new jumpers can carry Deborah’s ‘light and magic’.

In April last year, Deborah’s husband, Sebastien Bowen, said their children were still clinging to the mantra of “rebellious hope.”

Speaking to BBC Breakfast, the widower revealed that his wife had died ‘peacefully’ and was surrounded by her family in June 2022 aged 40.

Sebastian recalled telling his children on the day of the funeral, “If we can get through this together, I think we can do anything,” Sebastian said the message has remained true for them.

“I think that kind of sticks with us a little bit… we’re a pretty strong unit, I think,” he added.

Meanwhile, Deborah’s children reflected on their mother’s legacy, which they are still proud of today.

“It’s just amazing to think… first of all, the legacy that it is,” Hugo, 15, told the programme.

And secondly, the amount that could be achieved with this 11 million, I think, is beyond what anyone could achieve at this time.”

Hugo also said that the family still emphasizes the importance of the “rebellious hope” that their mother had always urged in everyone.

“It means that no matter what, there is always something to keep you going,” he added.

Eloise, who wore a dress from Deborah’s InTheStyle collection, designed in the final weeks of her life, also thanked supporters for their “amazing” contribution and opened up about finding joy in her mother’s health journey.

She revealed that she and her mother would “dance every second,” especially when Deborah was having a bad day after chemotherapy.

“It was good to have help with things because you didn’t think about it, you just danced,” she explained.

New Delhi: England captain Heather Knight has withdrawn from the upcoming second season of the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024, to be held in Bengaluru and Delhi from February 23 to March 17. The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have appointed Nadine de Klerk as a replacement for Heather Knight, the WPL said in a press release on Saturday.

De Klerk, the South African all-rounder who bowls medium-fast and bats right-handed, has featured in 30 ODIs and 46 T20Is.

Heather Knight has become the second England player to withdraw from the WPl in two days, after gangster Lauren Bell did the same on Friday. Bell had withdrawn because she wanted to prepare for the upcoming England women's tour of New Zealand.

Knight had represented RCB in the first edition of the WPL and was one of 11 players retained by the franchise ahead of the player auction for the second edition of the WPL.

Alexis Bellino was spotted filming with the Real Housewives of Orange County stars Heather Dubrow And Emily Simpson.

On Wednesday, January 24, photos surfaced on social media of Bellino, 46, sitting in a restaurant next to Dubrow, 55, and Simpson, 48. The women enjoyed cocktails as a camera crew stood in front of them to capture the moment.

Bellino's recent performance alongside the RHOC stars fueled rumors that she may return to the Bravo series. Earlier on Wednesday TMZ reported that Bellino would join season 18 as a friend.

Bellino made her RHOC debut in 2009. She appeared in seasons 5 through 8 as the lead character. Although Bellino did not return for season 9, she appeared briefly as a guest during season 14.

Recently, Bellino has been making headlines for her relationship with her boyfriend Johannes Janssenwho was previously in a relationship RHOC star Shannon Beador from 2019 to 2023. (Beador, 59, joined RHOC in Season 9, shortly after Bellino's departure.)

Bellino and Jannsen, 59, were first linked in November 2023 after sitting next to each other during a group dinner. At the time, Bellino's publicist, Spencer Lubitztold Page six that the pair were just 'friends'.

The following month, Bellino confirmed that she and Jannsen's relationship had become romantic.

“Johnny J, let everyone talk,” she captioned the December 2023 slideshow. “But you showed me love I never knew. I love you #thisisourchristmascard.”

In a subsequent post, Bellino showed off a promise ring Jannsen bought her.

After her public statement, several followed RHOC stars spoke out against the couple's relationship. Meghan King said she advised Bellino to be cautious about Jannsen's progress.

Shortly after the King's comments made headlines, Bellino fired back at her friend.

Season 4 of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City came to a close with Part 3 of the reunion where Heather Gay opened up about Jen Shah giving her the infamous black eye.

The 49-year-old Heather revealed during the RHOSLC Season 4 finale in Bermuda that Shah was the one who gave her the black eye.

Tuesday’s Part 3 of the reunion showed brand new footage from the morning after the black eye – though there still is no footage of the black eye happening, as Gay told Shah that she would cover for her.

The reunion also featured Monica Garcia – who it was reported just hours before Part 3 that she was leaving the show – opening up about being a part of the troll account Reality Von (Tea)se, which she claimed was started to expose Jen Shah, who is currently serving six and a half years on a conspiracy to commit wire fraud charge.

Host Andy Cohen said Heather, ‘shocked the world’ when she said during the finale that Shah gave her the black eye, but when Heather was asked how it happened, those details are still a bit fuzzy.

‘I mean, honestly, it was a lot of drinking. And the next morning, I woke up with the black eye. I knew I’d gotten it from Jen. I didn’t know how, but I knew I’d gotten it from Jen,’ Heather admitted.

‘She was the first person I texted. She came in the room. She said, “Did I give that to you?” And I said, “Don’t worry. I’ll cover,’ Heather admitted, as Andy asked why she wanted to cover for her.

‘I don’t know. I was scared of her, I think. I had been covering for her for three years. I was not gonna stop with the black eye. I was that in, and I was too scared to say anything. I was terrified to say it. I was still scared to say it at reunion. I was still scared to say it in Bermuda, but as I sat there, watching this happen again, I realized that, like, I was contributing, kind of,’ Heather said.

Andy added that they had brand new footage to share, with a title card stating that, ‘Security footage from Heather’s room was reviewed immediately. The audio was unintelligible.’

‘At the time, Jen and Heather both said they were discussing a different topic. Heather now claims this footage shows them discussing the black eye,’ a second title card read.

Jen is seen entering Heather’s room in San Diego in April 2022 and sitting down on he couch, as Jen is heard saying something that Heather says is, ‘Thanks for letting me borrow this.’

Heather then explains that Jen says of the black eye, ‘I did that to you? I can’t believe I did that to you.’

Heather says she told Jen, ‘Don’t worry about it. I got you,’ adding, ‘She was upset. We were both upset.’

Host Andy Cohen adds, ‘Well, Heather, Jen has continued to deny she gave you the black eye,’ as Heather starts apologizing to everyone.

‘Let me just start by saying I’m sorry. I’m sorry to you. I’m sorry to…you guys,’ she says of her fellow cast, her voice starting to break.

‘I’m sorry to the network. I’m sorry to the audience. I didn’t know how to navigate it myself. I knew that it was becoming bigger and more than I could handle. It was a horrible situation, and I have lived through this, and I knew the relentlessness of what would come, and I lived a lot of that from it. A lot of Reality Von (tea)se was fixated on the black eye. And I… I don’t know how to say other than, like, I was scared, and I did what I always do. I deflected with humor. It was in poor taste. It was horrible,’ Heather said, as Andy added, ‘I don’t know that it was humor.’ 

Andy added that she probably ‘started freaking out’ when lawyers became involved,’ and she admitted she did.

‘I started freaking out because I didn’t have that– all I had was that she had told me she had done it and that I said I’d cover for her,’ Heather said, as they show footage of Heather talking to Jen about a cover story, where Jen suggested, ‘a spider laid eggs in your eyeball. Or you might have poison in your eye.’

Heather added, ‘I couldn’t say how it happened,’ as Andy added, ‘You went as far as to lie on your book tour and say you thought you fell into a bedroom cabinet. At another book tour stop, you said someone may have broken into the house and hit you, but production edited it out because of a non-disparagement clause between the rental company and production,’ as Heather started laughing, but Andy took her to task.

‘I have to say, it’s not funny to accuse the producers or the production company of covering up a crime and an assault,’ Andy said.

Heather responde, ‘It’s not, and there was… It’s not funny. And that’s why I led with I’m sorry. I would have never have come clean if I didn’t… If this hadn’t happened. You know what I mean?’ as her voice started to crack.

She added, ‘I took a lot of hits for the black eye,’ from the fans, adding, ‘I mean, I didn’t go on social media for six months, and I was too scared to accuse or say anything otherwise. I’m still scared. I don’t even wanna have to do it now. 

Andy asked, ‘Is the grace that you are… Asking of everyone now the same grace that should be given to her?’

‘I can’t answer that question because the way that I handled it was to internalize and to–to– and I’m not gonna–it’s not noble,’ as Andy added, ‘Well, but you did… you accused production, which is not internalizing it.’

Heather added, ‘I mean, I didn’t make an accusation. I said it could have been– I mean, it was a joke. I said a good-looking producer, you know, like, we made jokes about rough sex. It was like, it was clearly in absurd humor, and it wasn’t posted online. It wasn’t perpetuated. It was not like that, Andy. It wasn’t. But to take it on myself and to repress it and make it my responsibility, I was the victim, but I was also supposed to be the person that, like, told on her, and I didn’t have the capacity to do that.’

Andy added, ‘Look, you lied to production, Bravo, and even at one point said that maybe a producer had done it to you, which is very serious because it puts people’s reputations and jobs at risk. Did you ever go to her and say this is getting bigger than…

Heather said, ‘Yeah, we talked about it a lot. She said, “Unless they can show us the footage, we deny.”‘

Andy asked if Jen ever thanked her for covering for her and Heather admitted, ‘No. Jen Shah? She was never my friend. She pretended to be my friend, and I fell for it. And I will not fall for a pretend friend again.’

‘I was a different person then, and I was worried about the retaliation. I’m still worried about the retaliation. But there’s been some distance. There’s enough distance now, but it’s more than that. I was a different person when I started the show, and the person that would eat that s**t then is not gonna do it now. And it–it was a really pivotal moment for me in Bermuda. I was sitting there. I kind of thought… That you would say… “The gig is up. I’m sorry, and I-I wanted to be here so badly that I did all of this,” but you didn’t. You spun it. You deflected. And as I sat there thinking like, this is familiar to me, I’ve been there before, and I, in fact, defended this behavior, and I’m not gonna do it again. I never want to revisit this type of toxicity. And if this is part of the job, then maybe… It shouldn’t be part of the job.’

One of the other big revelations of the reunion was that Monica Garcia finally fessed up to being a part of the internet troll account Reality Von (tea)se.

When asked directly by Andy if she was posting to that account, she said, ‘I am part of the page. Yes. I did not set up the account. I didn’t name the account or open the accounts.

She admitted to posting under the account but clarified, ‘not all of them,’ adding the site started in 2021 when the show was on the air, but after her time working for Jen Shah.

‘I don’t know if I had given my evidence yet,’ she said, but when Andy asked if she had given her statement against Shah she said yes. 

When asked what the ‘point’ of the site was, Monica said, ‘It was to expose Jen. It was to expose the truth of how she was treating her employees, and that’s what it was.’

When Andy asked about the posts about other RHOSLC stars, Monica said, ‘I don’t feel like that page was made for talking s**t on these ladies. I honestly feel like that page did not come for any of them.’

Andy asked Heather if she had, ‘documentation of things that were posted by this account’ that hurt her and she said, ‘Yeah, absolutly. They’re still up.’

Heather added that one of the posts was a quote from Jen Shah that called Heather, ‘a tranny twin’ and a ‘manatee’ though Monica said she was just posting what Jen Shah had said about Heather, insisting, ‘We were sticking up in your defense.’

An argument between Monica and Heather ensued as Monica insisted, ‘It wasn’t a lie. It was Jen calling you an awful name. We were trying to expose how abusive she was to you. Do you not understand that?’

Heather insisted, ‘You are not a hero in this, Monica. You are not a hero,’ as Monica insisted, ‘I’m fine being the villain in your story, Heather, ’cause you’re the clowns in mine.’

They showed more examples of hurtful posts like, ‘Y’all’s grandma is still pretending she can get a black D,’ but Monica insisted she didn’t write that one, adding, ‘That doesn’t even sound like me,’ but Heather said, ‘It sounds exactly like you.’

Monica added, ‘That’s because we wanted you guys to see. I’m not denying any of that,’ though Lisa Harlow said, ‘But it’s literally so deceptive to not know that it was you trying to engage.’

Lisa insisted that Monica is a bully and doesn’t deserve a platform when Monica pulled out a Burn Book, which upset all of the other ladies. 

She showed the Burn Book to Andy, but he didn’t quite get the point of putting the book together.  

‘It sounds like in trying to expose Jen, what you did was hurt all of them,’ Andy said, but Monica insisted, ‘That was not the intention. 

Andy added, ‘If Jen called her that, and you guys posted it, then what you’re doing is perpetuating something mean about her,’ asking how it’s helpful.’

Monica tried to explain, ‘I literally just said that I see how that hurt you, but I’m telling you that,’ but when they said they don’t get it, Monica adds, ‘You guys aren’t listening,’ but Andy says, ‘Well, they are.’ 

Monica insists, ‘We were trying to get out how awful she was. I am sorry that that ended up hurting you.’

Andy added, ‘I gotta tell you something. I’m kind of amazed that you’re so surprised that they’re pissed off by this.’

Monica said, ‘I really am. Because they were such big fans of the page,’ adding they all were, but none of them said they were. 

Andy asked if they posted positive things about the women and Monica said, ‘We did post positive things about the women. We did try and support them. We did say nice things,’ but Heather scoffed at that notion.

‘Because it’s one out of 10,000. You’re not a hero,’ Heather said, as Lisa added, ‘Based on the things she wrote, she did not like any of us. So, why do you wanna be our friend? Why do you wanna be here with us? Because based on everything you wrote, you f***ing hate us. 

Andy asked, ‘Do you wanna be their friends, or do you wanna be on the show?’ Monica responded, ‘I think both can be true, to be completely honest. I genuinely feel bad because, truly,’ but Heather added, ‘I don’t think you do, but that’s fine.

Monica yelled, ‘What is wrong with me wanting to sit on this couch?! You don’t think I belong here, right? Because that is what you have– you have said several times,’ she said to Lisa, and while Lisa said she has never said that, they showed video of her doing so.

Andy adds, ‘Her plotting to get on the show is not a crime,’ though Lisa adds, ‘That’s not a crime. You going against all of us is the crime. If you were so noble in your actions, then why didn’t she tell us all to begin with? Why didn’t she say, “I had your backs. I’m here for you guys. I love you guys”? You didn’t lead with that. You got busted and you f***ing had to cover your ass.’

Monica insisted, ‘I did not get busted. I knew from the jump that this was gonna come out,’ but Andy asked if she knew, why not lead with it?

‘Because when we made this page, we said to the grave, and it wasn’t just me. There were other people involved,’ Monica said.

Lisa alleged that she got all the leaked videos she used, ‘because she logged into their security system and was watching them for months. You logged into Jen and Sharrieff’s security system.’

Monica insisted, ‘I didn’t log in. It was mine,’ adding that Jen, ‘asked me to put it in my name, yes.’

Andy asked, ‘You had ability to watch Jen in her home and hear what she was saying, is what you’re saying,’ and Monica said, ‘If I wanted to, yeah.’

Another argument ensued as Monica yelled, ‘But the fact that you’re– you’re more mad at me for recording Jen throwing s**t at human beings than you are mad at Jen for doing it?! Do you hear yourself?! That’s psychotic! That’s psychotic. That’s psychotic.’

Andy adds that Lisa accused Monica of ‘stalking’ Jen because she drove by her house a lot, and another shouting match ensued. 

Heather showed a video of Monica driving by her house, adding that she has ‘probably 20’ other videos. 

They showed footage from some of the other videos, and when Andy asked what she was hoping to find, Heather insisted, ‘She wanted to get on the show, Andy,’ but Monica insisted it was about Jen.

‘This was about Jen! Do you understand that?!’ and Monica insisted that the FBI asked her to drive by her house, adding, ‘Yeah, and she also owed us money.’

When asked what they were hoping to find, Monica said, ‘Catching her driving and drinking,’ as Monica added, ‘She was being watched by several people.’

Andy seemingly had a hard time believing that as Monica added, ‘They said any evidence I have that she’s drinking and driving,’ which the others thought was funny.

‘You guys are a**holes. This is why there’s a Burn Book,’ Monica insisted, but they kept laughing when she tried to clarify.

When asked why she kept driving by Jen’s house, Monica said, ‘I mean, well, we were curious, and also we were keeping an eye to see if she was gonna drink and drive, because that would be violating her probation.’

Angie Katsanveas joked, ‘Were you gonna put a light on and pull her over and then give her a breathalyzer?’

Monica added, ‘You call the police when you see her driving drunk,’ as Monica snapped, ‘Why are you coming at me?! Why are you defending a criminal?!’

Andy asked, ‘If she was driving by her former employer’s, who was up to no good in the hope of…catching her or adding more evidence, why do you care? She wasn’t driving by your houses. If she never stalked you guys, why do you care if she drove by Jen’s house? Like, what do you care?’

Heather adds, ‘The capability it would take for a human being to befriend someone as a fan, to beg to work for them, to then to get the chance to work for them… then to infiltrate their lives, to become their assistant, to install cameras in their home, to watch their security footage, to take every opportunity to take that, then post it and then spread it on social media, that raises a few alarm flags for me and makes me think I don’t necessarily want to be their friend. Because if she did that to Jen, she will do it me. And she, in fact, has. So, to hire someone that contributed that and profited off of it and then lied about it and then sat here with a Burn Book…’

Heather said this ‘ruined’ her experience of being a housewife, adding, ‘Every Housewife on every franchise would say, the only hard part about this job is the trolls on social media. That are relentless about ourselves and about our families, about our businesses, and if you could eliminate that or at least create a gap or at least hold someone accountable, it would change the experience for all of us. And you would get higher caliber women willing to expose their lives on television.’

Monica added, ‘”Higher caliber women.” So, someone like me doesn’t belong here? That’s exactly what I’m saying.’

Lisa added, ‘You guys brought her on knowing that she wanted to f***ing take every single one of us out, and nobody gives a f**k.

Lisa adds that Monica said someone in production knew that she ran Reality Von (tea)se, stating, ‘The first time I interviewed, I talked about it in my home with production, that this was their plan.’

An incredulous Andy said, ‘You told them in casting? If you said, “I run a burner account,” we wouldn’t have cast you.

The reunion began with a number of clips including one of Meredith Marks churning butter during one of the retreats, and some of the Housewives doing impressions of the others.

Lisa also spoke about having ‘glam’ every day and having a makeup artist on retainr, adding the last time she did her own makeup was,’ probably 2019.’

‘Like, I told John, I’m like, I’m gonna die with glam and draped in diamonds. Those are my…things,’ Lisa said.

Mary Cosby clarified that she was not body shaming Heather, adding, ‘I was not body shaming her at all. That didn’t even come to my mind. That was not my point. I have no reason to do that. And I think she looks really good, especially today. I guess she shamed me, ’cause she looks great.’

When Andy asked Mary about her ‘future’ with the group, she added, ‘I’m just gonna continue being me, and if people are willing to open up and accept me in the–in this group as a group, maybe I would. But as long as that… That push out, like, like Whitney acts like she’s terrified of me, which she’s not. She’s always got something to say.’

Whitney Rose admitted, ‘I was always in the beginning scared of disappointing you because I actually was… So, the fear that you were feeling isn’t fear, ’cause I’m not scared of you. I was always scared of upsetting you or disappointing you.’

Mary asked, ‘Why? How is that whatever developed into a friendship?’ Whitney admitted, ‘Because what comes out of your mouth after.’

Mary added, ‘What do you mean what comes out of my mouth after? -That means you don’t know me.

Meredith added she had some ‘words’ with Mary and they squashed their beef quickly, adding, ‘So, maybe I can give you guys some lessons on how to navigate Mary.’

They also discussed the rumors that Angie was part of the Greek Mafia, which Monica seemingly started on camera first.

Meredith says, ‘I got a dm that was– was predominantly, like, a variety of financial records that all tied back to things that Monica had told me coming back from Palm Springs about Angie that I didn’t know about prior to that.’

Andy asked Monica if she had anything to do with the DM about Angie’s finances, as Monica said, ‘No, but I would admit that.’

Meredith says, ‘You told me you had evidence of everything you told me on the plane to Palm Springs,’ but Monica disagrees. 

Monica admits she did not talk to anyone else about the conversation she had with Meredith, as Monica admitted that she got the same DM from the same account. 

Angie says, ‘I just really need everyone to be respectful for a minute, because this is my business, and it’s really important that I have the opportunity to address this. Um, basically, what they are accusing me of is being a schemer and being a fraud. And I’ve been working for 30 years. I’m self-made. This takes away from my credibility. It’s reckless to my business, and it feels like it was a takedown, like they wanted to ruin me as a business owner.’

When Andy asks, ‘Who’s they?’ as Angie says she doesn’t know, admitting that, ‘Monica has been pretending to be my friend and betrayed me the minute that she could.’

Andy said, ‘You can’t bring something out in front of the cameras, like the gay rumors and the thing, and then say, “I didn’t say it, I didn’t say it,” because it’s you saying it.’

Andy said, ‘But you’re bringing it to life on worldwide television,’ before another shouting match ensued.

Towards the end of the reunion, Andy said of Jen Shah, ‘I’m so surprised that we are all this time later still cleaning up the mess of this person who really had such a chokehold on everybody. If she’s watching this, you would say what to her?’

Heather says, ‘I would say… I’m no longer your b***h. And… I regret believing in you. I regret turning on my– all of you… [Sniffles] In her defense. I regret fighting her fight. I regret… Disrespecting my children and my family and my opportunity here. And I would say I’m glad that you’re in prison ’cause I might not have had the guts to do it otherwise.’

Andy added ‘Listen, the theme here seems to be that Jen has made people do things that are not maybe characteristic of who you really are. So, is there any grace there to be given to Monica at all?’ 

Heather said, ‘I appreciate what you said, Monica, and I think that you’re right. But the way that you handled it, and the way that it affected me and the way that you came in today, it hurt me more, and it didn’t resolve anything for me. It made it clearer to me and more real to me about my own boundaries and how far I’ve come. I mean, that collectively, how far we’ve all come, because this is the best season we’ve ever had. We enjoyed each other so much. We enjoyed every minute of it.’

Andy added, ‘So, knowing all those good things that have happened, is it too insurmountable for you guys to move on as a group? I guess that’s the question. We may not answer it today. You all may need a little bit of time.’

Whitney said, ‘I have to be very careful and protect boundaries that I’ve put up with relationships that are not safe in my life. And there has to be a clear line of trust for me to be able to move forward. And right now… I think I’m even more confused leaving the reunion. So, I don’t trust Monica, and I don’t trust my ability. Like, I have–I can’t put myself in that situation right now. So, I don’t have a strong answer for you other than no. That’s all I–the only word I can say, and I’m sorry I can’t give you a better answer. This whole thing is triggering for me and what I’ve been through personally in my life, and I tend to say the wrong things at the wrong time. So, my answer is just no.’

Andy asked if Monica could have said anything to make this ok, but none of them agreed there was anything she could have said. 

Andy gave Monica one last chance to say her piece, and she says, ‘I mean, I think there’s a ton that’s been misunderstood, but…’ and when Andy asked if she wanted to say anything else she just said, ‘No.’

Just hours before the reunion, it was revealed that Monica was leaving the show after just one season.

The trio then reunited with Monica, 40, and Angie Katsanevas at a group dinner, where Heather dropped her bombshell.

“Receipts! Proof! Timeline! Screenshots! F-king everything!” she exclaimed, clapping her hands between each word for further emphasis.

Monica then revealed that there is more to the story.

“There was so much more I wanted to say, but I knew I wouldn't be listened to at all,” Monica said at the end of the finale. “There are a lot of things I could have said. That wasn't the right time, but there's so much more to the story that needs to be said, and trust me, you're all going to want to hear it.

While the RHOSLC cast had resolved their issues during the reunion, which aired earlier this week, but not everything was resolved.

“There were a lot of issues at the reunion that I feel like were way bigger than some of the things I had to address, and there's only a limited amount of time in the day,” Meredith, 51, told exclusively We weekly in December 2023. “If it was the biggest thing under the sun, obviously I would have raised my hand. But… I don't like to get upset Andy [Cohen] by interrupting.”

Meredith, in particular, wishes she had gotten some clarity about her feud with former girlfriend Lisa, 48.

Heather Mills has recently made headlines after hitting out at the meat industry and blaming its ‘nefarious practices’ for her collapsing vegan food empire.

But the model and campaigner is more than just  plant-based philanthropy, and has notoriously found fame in various ways – be it animal rights activism, landmine campaigning or even skiing. 

She is also known for her famous marriage to – and even more famous divorce from – ex-Beatle Paul McCartney. 

And the star has also found herself in the spotlight for her feisty reputation – in one incident pouring a jug of water over Sir Paul’s barrister – and has even been accused of being a ‘pathological liar’ by past husbands and publicists alike.

Here, FEMAIL looks at the many lives the extraordinary public figure has led… 

VEGAN EMPIRE 

Heather is perhaps best known for her work in veganism and animal rights activism. 

Earlier this month, she blamed ‘gaslighting’, ‘nefarious practices’ and a ‘litany of lies’ from the meat and dairy industry – as well as Brexit, the Tories and energy companies – for the collapse of her vegan food empire.

Sir Paul McCartney’s ex-wife, 55, claims that dark forces within rival food industries undermined VBites – one of the leading manufacturers of plant-based meat and cheese in the UK.

She wrote that vegan firms are under attack from the meat and dairy industries – and the celebrities they employ. She claimed they run dirty advertising campaigns ‘joking about plant milk, insulting lactose intolerant people as well as ethical environmental animal lovers’. 

Heather also blasted ‘a litany of lies and misinformation’ and ‘well-funded gaslighting initiatives that detract from the facts and sow the seeds of doubt in consumers who deserve to know the truth’.

She founded VBites with the ‘sole purpose of furthering the plant-based movement’ and set up a factory in County Durham with the plan of turning her native north-east of England into ‘Silicon Valley of plant-based foods’ such as vegan sausages, burgers and fish fingers.

The collapse of Heather’s food business came in a grim year for vegan brands as demand for meat-free products slowed after a pandemic rush with a study revealing today that companies should now consider not putting vegan on labels if they want them to succeed with weary consumers. 

After her split from the Beatles genius and bitter divorce battle that saw her hurl water on Sir Paul’s barrister Fiona Shackleton, Heather, a former model and ski instructor set about her mission to promote veganism and animal rights and become the UK’s ‘vegan queen’.

The collapse of VBites will have hurt Heather deeply.  It was a path that coincidentally pitted her against Sir Paul’s late first wife, Linda, whose vegetarian food remains a best-seller.

VBites makes vegan sausages, burgers and fish fingers, and had previously had a deal to supply McDonald’s. The business also supplied meat-free products to Europe including ski resorts and even ran vegan cafes in chichi Chester and Hove. 

The company was founded as Redwood Wholefood in 1993, Mills took control in 2007 and changed its name to VBites.

But the administrators have now been called in, with Ms Mills blaming celebrity campaigns promoting milk, cheese and meat for a decline in demand for the vegan foods VBites offered. 

The former model, who was awarded £24.3million in her divorce from Sir Paul, has said she was devastated by the collapse of her vegan food empire just before Christmas, claiming she had invested ‘tens of millions of pounds’ of her own money into the business – as well as ‘blood, sweat and tears’ to try to save it.

She paid tribute to her 112 staff, whose jobs are at risk just two weeks before Christmas.

On her website, she said: ‘It’s with regret that VBites Foods, a company very dear to my heart, is entering into administration. I offered every solution I feasibly could to keep it going.’

Her manufacturing site in Peterlee, County Durham and in Corby, Northamptonshire, will continue to run until a new buyer is found. 

MODELLING CAREER – AND MOVE TO PHILANTHROPY

Heather has often spoken about her troubled upbringing – and while the accuracy of her stories have been debated, she reportedly had left home by the age of 17.

As reported by HELLO!, she was in the mid 1980s put on probation after being arrested for stealing £20,000 worth of jewellery. 

However, Heather was not to be deterred by any setbacks.

The outlet explained that she would soon meet British businessman Alfie Karmal, who helped support her modelling ambitions and even helped her set up an agency – which was ultimately unsuccessful.

By 1987, Heather had oved to Paris, where she reportedly became the mistress of a millionaire called George Kazan.

In 2003, he told the Sunday Mirror: ‘Heather did do some modelling when I knew her in Paris but it didn’t bring in the kind of money she was after.

‘She was a minor model. She needed something else. And that something was me.’

He added: ‘Heather is a totally different person today to when we first met, and I would like to think that a lot of that is down to me.

‘I taught her to appreciate the finer things in life. We used to move constantly between Paris to Cannes to Geneva to London, always staying in the best places. 

‘It was an amazing lifestyle for her – another world from what she was used to. But she was a very quick learner.’

Heather and Alfie married in 1989, aged 21, after she returned to London. They split up two years later, and her modelling career appeared to take a different direction – this time towards activism and campaigning.

In the 90s, after visiting Yugoslavia shortly before the outbreak of the Croatian War, she set up a refugee crisis centre in London.

According to the BBC – she helped as many as 20 people escape, collecting aid and driving resources into the war-torn nation.

She often took up modelling gigs in Austria – which was en route – to fund the journeys.

Heather lost her left leg after a traffic collision with a police motorcycle in Kensington, London in 1993.

Her left leg was amputated below the knee, and she has used a prosthetic limb ever since. 

The star had also continued to model, determined to make strides for disabled people in the industry.

Heather has since also set up initiatives which recycle prosthetic limbs, spoken up about landmine risks in areas of conflict and – in 1996 – was even nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.

RELATIONSHIP WITH PAUL MCCARTNEY 

Heather’s marriage to Paul McCartney was notoriously filled with highs and lows. 

It was earlier this year reported that she ‘struggled’ to live in the ex-Beatle’s family home, where love notes and photos of his late wife Linda were displayed, as claimed by a friend of the star.

The former model’s ghostwriter and confidante Pamela Cockerill appeared in the new documentary The Trials of Heather Mills, which aired on Channel 5.

In the 90-minute TV special, the author – who wrote Heather’s 1996 biography Out On A Limb – opened up about the early days of Heather’s marriage with the former Beatle.

The couple – who had a 25-year age gap – met in May 1999 at the Pride of Britain Awards in London, just over a year after Sir Paul’s first wife Linda died of breast cancer.

Following their lavish wedding in Glaslough, Ireland, in 2002, Heather moved into his home in Rye, East Sussex – which he bought with Linda in 1973. 

Pamela explained: ‘I think Heather found it quite hard to live in the same house that, only a couple of years before, Linda had been living in.

‘And the house hadn’t been changed that much. [Linda] was an inescapable presence because obviously, she was a big part of Paul’s life.’

What’s more, Heather’s friend claims that Paul had included tributes of his love for his first wife into the design of some of the rooms.

She continued: ‘There were little plaques saying “I love Linda” over the doorways and photos of her around.

‘It must have been very hard to deal with.’

When Linda passed away at the age of 56, the couple had been married for 29 years and shared their three children Mary, 53, Stella, 51, and James, 45. Sir Paul also adopted Linda’s daughter Heather from his wife’s first marriage to Joseph Melville See Jr. 

Author Howard Sounes, – who wrote the biography Fab: An Intimate Life Of Paul McCartney, said: ‘I’m sure it must have been very difficult for Heather to move into the life of a man who had been famously happily married for years.

‘They had children together and I’m sure he was still in love with Linda. He probably hadn’t got over it.

‘He kept Linda’s ring on until the day before he married Heather.’ 

Elsewhere in the documentary, Pamela described how Sir Paul and Heather’s relationship was ‘volatile from the beginning’. 

She explained: ‘They were such strong characters.

‘They were both used to having their own way. Before they got married, there was a big row in a hotel room in America and [Heather’s] engagement ring got thrown out of the window.

‘I don’t know who flung it out, but the next day, the staff were all going round with metal detectors and they recovered the ring.’

Meanwhile, Heather’s friend said she struggled with Sir Paul always being the ‘centre of attention’ when he started getting involved in her charitable causes.  

Before meeting him, Heather had worked with the Cambodia Trust and Voluntary Services Overseas to help them establish schools of prosthetics across South East Asia.

In the early Noughties, Heather started working with Adopt-A-Minefield to help landmine survivors, which was also a cause close to Sir Paul’s heart.

Discussing the impact this had on the marriage, Pamela continued: ‘She wanted to still do her charity work.

‘She still wanted to be who she was and for that not to be forgotten and it was quite hard to carry on doing that.

‘Once he started to get involved in the charities, he became the star of the show and she was just an extra.’ 

In 2003, Heather gave birth to the couple’s daughter Beatrice. The pair announced their separation three years later before their divorce was finalised in 2008. 

As part of the agreement, Heather was given £23million in cash and assets in their divorce settlement. 

Sir Paul went on to marry his third wife, businesswoman Nancy Shevell, 63, in 2011.

In December 2021, Heather Mills was rumoured to have married her businessman boyfriend Mike Dickman.

The couple started dating in the spring of 2019 and Mike, who is 17 years her junior, had been seen wearing a gold wedding band. 

The couple got engaged just before Christmas 2020, and were on holiday together in Dubai when news of the engagement broke in January. At the time she wrote: ‘What better way to spend my birthday than with the love of my life.’

Friends say that they had a beachside ceremony in the Maldives in 2021, on the palm-fringed sand at the Anantara resort, where rooms start at £450 a night. 

Before Sir Paul, Heather was engaged to documentary-maker Chris Terrill, media executive Marcus Stapleton, and businessman Raffaele Mincione.

Chris was planning their wedding to her when she dumped him and flew to the U.S. to pursue a romance with Sir Paul McCartney, whom she had met at an awards ceremony.

Heather asked for £125 million in the divorce, but a High Court judge awarded her just a fifth of that sum — £24.3 million which she said she was ‘very, very pleased with’. She was also awarded £35,000 per annum, for a nanny and school fees for Beatrice.

Mr Justice Bennett labelled Heather a ‘less than impressive witness’, who had exaggerated the extent of her wealth before she met the former Beatle.

After the split, Heather was accused of being a ‘gold digger’ who only married Sir Paul for his money — which she denied, saying in a 2010 interview: ‘This is so far removed from who I really am.’

SKIING STAR

Earlier this year, Heather was officially recognised as the fastest disabled female skier on the planet. 

Heather lost a leg in an accident in 1993 and clocked in a staggering speed of 102.5mph (164.95 km/h) in Vars, southeast France, in 2015.

In January, her successful attempt was finally recognised in the Guinness Book of World Records.

She began her competitive skiing career in 2010 at the age of 42, two years after her divorce from the legendary Beatle Sir Paul McCartney.

Despite her advanced age, she went on to win four gold medals at the Skiing World Championship in Aspen in 2012 for the super giant slalom and downhill racing events.

Skiing is the fastest non-motorised sport, and professionals can accelerate faster than most road cars.

In her attempt, Heather went from a standing start to over 60mph in less than three seconds.

On her record-breaking achievement, Mills said: ‘I’m delighted to have finally made it into the book!’

‘I just hope that this goes a little way to providing inspiration to those out there that have suffered similar injuries to my own and that they are able to use it as a source of inspiration to go on and achieve their own dreams and goals, whatever they may be.’

FIESTY REPUTATION – AND FAMOUS FIBS

Heather is known for not only her spirited public persona – she notoriously tipped a jug of water over the formidable ‘Steel Magnolia’ lawyer Fiona Shackleton while wrangling over her divorce from Sir Paul in the High Court in 2008 – but is also said to have a lax relationship with the truth.

Her first husband – Alfie – has in past told an interviewer: ‘She told me so many fibs that if she’d said it was raining, I would have checked.’

He was also said to urge her to seek professional help for compulsive lying.

A 2011 article from the Telegraph also recounted how Heather’s website has in past claimed that, after being sacked from a croissant shop, she ‘vowed to never work for anyone else again’.

‘This isn’t quite accurate, because she later took a job with a South London jeweller who had cause to lament the pitfalls and insecurities of employing the winsome adolescent,’ it read.

‘He said: “I treated her like my daughter. And she repaid that by stealing £20,000 of jewellery from me.”‘

In 2008, her former publicist accused her of conducting a campaign of dirty tricks against Sir Paul during their bitter divorce.

Hollywood PR Michele Elyzabeth launched a scathing attack on Miss Mills, saying the former model duped her into lying for her in their public battle and leaked false stories to blacken Sir Paul’s name.

During her explosive rant she refers to Heather as a pathological liar, a witch, a bitch and a gold-digger who married the former Beatle for his money.

She declared: ‘That witch tricked me into spreading lies about Paul. She’s a b***h.’ 

Michele also suggested the animal rights activist had misled the world into thinking she was penniless, when Sir Paul was still giving her money. 

A lot of her autobiography – which came out when she was 25 – called Out On A Limb, was also said to be ‘exaggerated’, according to her boyfriend Charles Stapley, the BBC says.

The book alleges that she ran away to join a funfair at 15 and later spent months sleeping in a cardboard box under Waterloo station.

When asked if she was surprised by the women taking legal action against each other, Meredith, 51, spoke exclusively We weekly: “Yes and no.”

‘You’ll learn some things I knew before I heard them [about the lawsuits] which made it a little less shocking,” she continued. “But it remains surprising.”

Monica, 40, and Heather, 49, have been embroiled in a legal battle since August when Heather’s Beauty Lab + Laser company sued Monica for breach of contract and breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing. The paperwork alleged that Monica failed to pay $2,449 for previous cosmetic procedures despite signing a contract in December 2019.

The documents showed that Monica had paid the first $449 but had not completed her remaining monthly payments.

Monica filed a countersuit in September, which she amended in November. She claimed to have received “defective, carelessly administered injections, which did not have the intended, promised results,” and therefore stopped paying. She further claimed to have reached “an oral agreement” with Beauty Lab after paying for “another qualified party to repair the damage to Monica’s nose and lips caused by the incompetent, negligent actions of Beauty Lab staff.”

Heather denounced the allegations via Instagram in November.

“This press lawsuit has no merit and is unfortunately a pattern of behavior by a desperate woman who, when unable to pay her bills, lashes out to avoid liability,” she wrote, calling Beauty Lab + Laser a “phenomenal company.” mentioned.

In addition to addressing the lawsuit, Meredith also teased details about a dramatic phone call Heather received during a cast trip to Bermuda in May.

During the phone conversation, which was teased in the RHOSLC season 4 trailer and will be shown during the season finale, Heather said to the person on the other line, “Hey, what did you find out? Are you kidding me now? Shut up. How could she do this to us? I’m going crazy!’

Meredith told me Us that Heather “learned things” during the phone call.

“I had certain things I already knew that made the whole trial less surprising [but] There were many elements to this call and I was shocked. It wasn’t something I ever, ever in a million years expected,” she teased.

Considering all the drama, Heather said Variety last month that she doesn’t think she will film with Monica “ever” again.

“It’s pretty final for myself,” she told the outlet. “I can’t speak for my other cast members, but to me it’s pretty clear.”

Meanwhile, Meredith doubts that Monica and Heather will be able to put their problems behind them.

“I think a lot of people are having a lot of issues with Monica right now, and I don’t know how they will ultimately be resolved,” she said. Us. “I’m not saying that everything is impossible, because everything is always possible, but I don’t see it. I don’t see how it happens.”

Heather Rae El Moussa is finding new ways to honor her and husband Tarek El Moussa 10-month-old son, Tristan.

The Selling sunset star, 36, revealed via Instagram on Wednesday, December 6, she got a tattoo of her little one’s name behind her ear. The name was placed just below a heart.

“Before and after Tristan …it’s the little things ,” Heather captioned a photo of the new ink alongside a photo of herself with Tarek, 42, while apparently pregnant.

Heather also took to her Instagram Stories to share videos of herself getting the tattoo, which was created by the artist Kareem Masarani. She lay down on the table as Tarek, 41, narrated the big moment.

“I have a little something going on today,” she captioned the clips. “I have my little love’s name with me.”

Heather and Tarek welcomed Tristan in January after tying the knot in October 2021. Tarek is also father to Taylor, 13, and Brayden, 8, whom he shares with his ex-wife. Christina Hall.

Since announcing her pregnancy in July 2022, Heather has been candid about the ups and downs of parenthood. In October, the reality star revealed that she had been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease.

“I remember saying to my assistant, ‘I feel like I’m dead,’” she said Today.com at the time. “My brain was so tired. My body was so tired. I was exhausted all the time and no amount of sleep could make it better.”

Heather initially attributed the problems to “mommy brain,” but was later diagnosed by her doctor with Hashimoto’s disease: an autoimmune disease that affects the thyroid, according to the Mayo Clinic. Symptoms of the condition can include fatigue, muscle pain, joint pain and memory problems. (She has since started medication.)

However, motherhood is not just a challenge. Heather spoke exclusively We weekly in June that she is “obsessed” with motherhood and noted that she is learning every day, despite already being a stepmom to Taylor and Brayden. “Going through the newborn stage and having a baby is a whole different story,” she said Us.

“It’s chaos at first, right? You have a new baby at home, you’re trying to figure everything out, and you’re postpartum,” she continued. “Everything is different. But I didn’t think I would be so obsessed and in love with him. Of course I knew I would love him, but it’s an obsession and love. It’s so hard to even leave him and go grocery shopping. It’s hard to go to the gym.”

Heather added that it didn’t take long for motherhood to completely change her for the better. “I’m definitely calmer and more patient and just more loving in general,” she said. “And I won’t let myself be upset or bothered. Like, if there’s something stressful going on, or people are being negative and talking in public, I’m like, ‘You know what? Whatever?’ Because my peace is more important to Tristan.”
