Bianca Censori ditched her recent show-stopping ensembles for a tamer look as she stepped out with Kanye West in West Hollywood on Friday.

The Australian-born architect, 29 – whose father recently demanded that both she and the rapper, 46, fly to Australia to address her X-rated outfits – held hands with West as they looked at studio spaces together.

Censori opted for a less revealing look that consisted of a figure-hugging white bodysuit held up with thin straps that wrapped around her shoulders.

She also donned a pair of white lace tights and white open-toed heels to match the color scheme of the ensemble.

Bianca easily carried a small black bag in which she could store a few items she would need during the excursion.

Her short, dark locks were styled into a sleek ponytail, ensuring no loose strands fell on her face.

Bianca chose to wear dainty silver ear cuffs, but didn’t add any other statement jewelry.

Kanye dressed in a monochrome look for the outing by wearing black baggy pants and a black hooded sweatshirt.

The Heartless hitmaker also wore a pair of black Nike sneakers that were tied with laces and added a few shades of black for a finishing touch.

The couple, who turned heads with Bianca’s very daring outfits, were spotted holding hands as they visited a few studios in the city.

At one point, West was also seen leading Censori to a parked vehicle and opening the door for the architect.

Their outing comes a day after Kanye – who also goes by Ye – uploaded a short film of Bianca lying in a huge bed while scrolling on her phone.

She held up the device to partially hide her face while wearing an ensemble she apparently wore last week – which consisted of a pink corset-style top and white lace tights.

The short video is currently the only post on his main Instagram page – and he has also chosen not to add a caption to his 20.3 million followers.

Earlier this week, sources told DailyMail.com that both the rapper and Bianca have been asked by her father, Leo, to fly to Australia to ease concerns about her latest X-rated makeover.

“Kanye has been invited to go to Australia and Bianca is hesitant to make it happen because she knows how her father will react,” the insider said.

“Her father still plans to talk to Kanye, and Leo will not be intimidated by Kanye’s power or control. No one expects this to be all rainbows and family portraits.”

Censori’s mother, Alexandra, had recently flown to Los Angeles to assess the situation for herself and “rescue” her daughter.

“Bianca’s father wasn’t necessarily happy about his wife’s visit to see their daughter because he feels like she has enabled Bianca to keep doing what she does,” the source continued.

“Yes, Bianca dressed provocatively while her mother was there, but that was nothing compared to some of the outfits she wore before and after the visit.”

When Sarah Lancashire finished playing Britain’s favorite fictional heroine Sergeant Catherine Cawood after three critically acclaimed series of Happy Valley, she made a decision.

She had exhausted herself in the highly emotional role that culminated in a harrowing confrontation with Tommy Lee Royce (James Norton), the man who raped Cawood’s daughter.

But while it cemented her as a national treasure, it may have proven to be her acting swan song.

After filming on the BBC1 drama wrapped, Ms Lancashire decided it was time to try something different: working behind the camera.

For the star, who found fame as much-loved barmaid Raquel Wolstenhulme in Coronation Street in 1991, it was something she had wanted to do for a number of years. But as work flowed in, she struggled to find the time.

“Sarah loves acting, but the idea of ​​producing bothered her,” says a friend. “Once Happy Valley was over, she decided it was a good time to get started. She’s so excited.

‘It was so exciting for her that even when she won her Outstanding Achievement Award at the National Television Awards last year, she had to run home because she was getting up early the next day and telling everyone she was now producing.

‘She may have found a new passion, but Sarah never liked the spotlight anyway.’

Before she leaves the stage for good, there’s good news for Ms Lancashire, 59, today[Wed] she is shortlisted for lead actress at this year’s TV Baftas for her role in Happy Valley, Sally Wainwright’s gritty drama.

While she faces stiff competition – Anjana Vasan for Black Mirror, Anne Reid in The Sixth Commandment, Bella Ramsey for The Last Of Us, Helena Bonham Carter for Nolly and Sharon Horgan for her role in Best Interests – she’s already been tipped to win. If she does, it will be her fifth time in that category, after winning in 2015 and 2017 for Happy Valley and last year for her U.S. debut in Julia.

In 2014, she won Best Supporting Actress for another Wainwright hit series, Last Tango In Halifax.

Happy Valley is also shortlisted not only for best drama, but also for ‘memorable moment’ for Cawood and Royce’s kitchen showdown and best supporting actor, with Amit Shah getting a nod for his role as murderer Faisal Bhatti.

There will be many screenwriters who will mourn Ms. Lancashire’s decision to scale back her acting commitments. Her award-winning ability to play feminist icons across all genres is legendary. Not that she particularly enjoys it, friends say.

There is no ego, no social media profile, no publicity machine. She appears on the red carpet – but only when absolutely necessary.

Even when she destroyed America, albeit unintentionally, it came as a surprise to even her. At the age of 58, after a glittering 35-year career, she was pursued by Hollywood agents to take on more roles. Unfortunately, they will now likely be politely declined.

Shortly before the lockdown, the British star was approached to play Julia Child, the pioneering American television chef who made a name for herself by bringing French cuisine to the United States in the 1960s.

She had little idea who Child was, other than that Meryl Streep had played her in a 2009 biopic, Julie & Julia – a role that earned the Hollywood A-lister an Oscar nomination. And she knew that Child was a sociable, successful middle-aged woman, even though it wasn’t easy to be one.

The call came in late 2019, just as Ms Lancashire, a mother of three, had decided she wanted to take a year off from acting. Days after her sabbatical, her agent contacted her and asked her to read a pilot script for a new HBO production.

A dozen pages later and Mrs. Lancashire was convinced. She flew to Los Angeles on her very first business trip there to audition, even though she didn’t expect to get the part.

“This is not greatness. “I never got the job as a young actor because I was so hopeless at auditions,” she said.

She decided to take her youngest son Joseph, now 18, and make a vacation of it. “We flew home and I forgot about it,” Mrs Lancashire added. But soon after, her agent called. America had arrived – finally – and her career break was put on hold.

But then the pandemic struck, halting filming after just three days. Production did not resume until the summer of 2021 – and Covid restrictions then meant she could no longer see her family in Britain. However, every cloud has a silver lining.

“It’s not an experience I want to repeat, in terms of being isolated from family,” Ms Lancashire told Vanity Fair magazine in her only US interview. “To be completely honest, I think I was saved a little bit when we first got shut down. I don’t think I was ready for it.’

Today, despite the show being canceled after two series, Lancashire is widely recognized and has a loyal fan base in the US, while Tinseltown insiders are seemingly desperate for more of her.

One said: ‘Hollywood loves a Brit, especially one who, like Sarah, is a British national treasure. There are so many opportunities for her here.”

The actress may need some convincing as she is more than happy with her lot.

Although she is from Oldham, where she grew up with her three brothers, her father Geoffrey, Coronation Street screenwriter, and her mother, his PA Mrs Lancashire, now live in London.

She lives in a £3 million, five-bedroom house on a quiet road in the south-west London enclave of Twickenham with her husband Peter Salmon, the former controller of BBC1, who famously refused to move into the BBC’s headquarters in Salford, despite being head of it. of the company’s North division.

Locals occasionally see her in her nearby Tesco, as well as on a walk with Salmon and their son. Lancashire also enjoys walks along the Thames, which is just a stone’s throw from her home.

Home is definitely where the heart is for the star. She says being a mother is her most important role. She has two older sons – Tom, 34, and Matthew, 32 – from her ten-year marriage to musician Gary Hargreaves, and Joseph with Salmon.

She said: ‘The older I get, the harder it is to be away from home. I like being home. When I go home, I’m really a mother; the mothers among us know that it is a full-time job.’

Of all her roles – even Raquel in Corrie – it was Sergeant Cawood who struck a chord with women juggling their careers with the trials of family life. It was created especially for her by Wainwright, who was so impressed by the actress’s Bafta-winning performance as lesbian headmistress Caroline in Last Tango In Halifax that she knew she wanted to work with her again.

Ms Lancashire’s personal life has been tough at times despite her success and it is perhaps the channeling of such experiences that has given her characters such authenticity. Accolades for her five years in Coronation Street (she left in 1996) and dramas such as Where The Heart Is, Clocking Off and The Paradise, came even as she secretly battled depression and even contemplated suicide.

She even spent part of what should have been her best years in the 1990s without getting out of bed. She described her breakdown as a “time bomb waiting to go off” and “absolutely debilitating.”

“I definitely didn’t tell anyone at the studios and I didn’t take any time off,” she said. ‘I was terrified of being judged and misunderstood. I just fought along. It was the worst thing I could have done. When you’re in the public eye, you’re afraid to talk about things openly – and that’s exactly why you should. You can really make a difference and address taboo topics.’

She later revealed that she had been diagnosed with clinical depression at the age of 18: “I never knew what it felt like to wake up in the morning full of spring joy and wander through the day feeling like I could handle it.”

A few years ago, Ms Lancashire described herself as “a little more together”, joking that she was “just about ready to take the bus alone”, keeping her depression at bay with therapy and medication.

“I have my good spots and my bad spots, my great spots and my debilitating spots,” she added.

But for now, the future looks bright, but instead of in front of the camera, she will be behind it.

Film producer Hal Roach once mischievously quipped that ‘you know it’s summer in Ireland when the rain gets warmer’.

The capricious weather was a constant subject when I was making ‘Quintessentially Irish‘ with Navan-born Pierce Brosnan, a film that is a lush valentine to everything great and Irish.

Here are some of the most spectacular locations encountered while filming it.

THE K CLUB 

It is a pleasant 30-minute journey from Dublin Airport to the luxurious hotel The K Club in County Kildare, looking resplendent after an impressive multi-million-pound refurbishment.

Our gorgeous Liffey suite has expansive views overlooking the river where Tiger Woods proudly caught a fish during a stay here.

The K Club’s spectacular golf course – designed by Arnold Palmer – hosted the Ryder Cup and remains a huge attraction. There’s also a golf simulator, which Matt Damon enjoyed over a few pints of the black stuff (Guinness) while filming the historical epic The Last Duel.   

But it’s the spa and elevated dining options that make this the perfect place for a getaway.

The K Club has one of the country’s finest Bordeaux collections, the plush Palmer North restaurant serves a generously portioned venison, the club sandwich in the Henry Bar is top-notch, and breakfast is exquisitely presented in the splendid Barton restaurant.

While the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin is Ireland’s most visited attraction, the hotel concierge arranges for us to take the scenic 16km (9.9 mile) Arthur’s Way Heritage Trail, passing the Guinness-owned Leixlip Castle and Ardclough village, birthplace of Guinness founder Arthur Guinness.

BALLYFIN 

Then, less than an hour further south is Ballyfin in County Laois.

Quite simply, Ballyfin is Ireland’s most distinguished address and deserves its reputation as the world’s best hotel. It feels like a home and is subtly designed as such.

So many hotels have uncivilised mid-afternoon check-in times. Not Ballyfin.

Its Gourmet Escape package allows guests to arrive from midday and to be welcomed Downton Abbey-style by the friendly staff, including charming general manager Peter White.

Enjoy a complimentary glass of Champagne in the stunning library with its crackling fires, while a mouth-watering lunch awaits amid the grandeur of the State Dining Room, which overlooks a charming Doric Temple cascade.

One of the hotel’s fans is Kim Kardashian. She’s stayed twice and surprised guests with an appearance in the State Dining Room. 

George Clooney is also an admirer. 

He booked out the hotel for a Clooney clan gathering and met his Irish cousins, who hail from neighbouring Abbeyleix.

Mr Clooney stayed in the charming two-storey Gardener’s Cottage, overlooking the walled garden and the Slieve Bloom Mountains. 

We stay in a stunning suite, the Lady Caroline Coote (formerly her boudoir).

CASHEL PALACE HOTEL 

Next stop is the spiritual home of Guinness, the wonderful Cashel Palace Hotel in County Tipperary, formerly an 18th-century mansion owned by the Archbishop of Cashel.

He famously left a £100 legacy to his godson, Arthur Guinness, who used this jackpot to buy a brewery.

The hotel deserves all the accolades it has received under the astute ownership of Susan Magnier (of the horseracing dynasty – the hotel even has an equine concierge). 

Our stay is made all the more special by its delightfully youthful friendly staff. 

It has long been a haven for celebrities, Jackie Kennedy and Elizabeth Taylor, for instance. 

And Queen Elizabeth II visited the majestic nearby Rock of Cashel, which as Ireland.com notes, ‘is home to over 1,000 years of history’.

The website explains that the site is home to a ‘complex of interlocking structures’, including a 13th-century cathedral and the 15th-century Hall of the Vicars Choral – a medieval choir’s residence.

The Rock can be accessed directly by hotel guests through the hotel garden, which features 300-year-old mulberry trees.

If that’s too much trouble, book a lovely garden wing superior room overlooking the Rock.

A rejuvenating peat mud bath treatment in the elegant spa is a must – and be sure to finish off a delicious dinner at the Michelin-starred Bishop’s Buttery restaurant with a decadent whiskey Baba.

THE PARK HOTEL KENMARE 

The island home of the reclusive Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: The Last Jedi was the remote monastic settlement of Skellig Michael in County Kerry.

A far more hospitable stay in the area is the remarkable Relais et Chateaux property, the Park Hotel Kenmare.

This is Ireland’s legendary 41-room Victorian grande dame hotel that had an elegant pandemic makeover.

John Travolta and Nicolas Cage have enjoyed its Kenmare Bay views. 

It is hard to leave our sumptuous junior suite, but the luxurious Samas spa, nestled in the woods, is a worthwhile short excursion and gives us an immediate sense of relaxation.

We enjoy a Bushmills whiskey in the stylish cocktail bar, followed by a delicious dinner in the elegant dining room, with its magnificent paintings.

This hotel is a timeless gem with a five-star ethos that effortlessly combines town and country.

Kenmare, meanwhile, is a beautiful heritage town on the hotel’s doorstep. It had a cameo in the quirky The Lobster with Colin Farrell.

Pop into Kenmare Cashmere and have a pint of Guinness at Crowleys, both on Henry St.

The Park Hotel Kenmare is also perfectly situated for exploring the underrated Beara Peninsula or for a drive around the Ring of Kerry, a 179km (111-mile) driving route filled with ‘rolling green hills, sparkling lakes and jaw-dropping cliffs’, notes Ireland.com.

SHEEN FALLS LODGE 

Our final stop is another stunning Relais et Chateaux property, Sheen Falls Lodge, formerly a 17th-century fishing lodge.

The terrace of the glorious Oscar suite has a ravishing view overlooking a waterfall and a picture-perfect stone-arched bridge.

Afternoon tea in the Sheen Lounge is a delight – and the superb Falls restaurant serves a faultless dinner.

I retire to the cosy library with its log fires and read Ted Murphy’s Kingdom of Wine, which documents Ireland’s little-known contribution to wine. It is so hard to leave this all behind.

The journey to Kerry Airport is spectacular, passing through Killarney National Park, which boasts breathtaking lakes.

We stop at the stupendous Ladies View scenic viewpoint, so named after the ladies-in-waiting who accompanied Queen Victoria on her visit to the must-see Muckross House in 1861.

Ireland has always been known as the land of a hundred thousand welcomes, but now it has several world-class hotels and restaurants that ensure that every visitor will be longing to return.

Did I mention that the sun actually shines most of the time? No wonder my Irish eyes are still smiling…

Frank Mannion is an Irish film director and his new film, Quintessentially Irish, with Pierce Brosnan and Jeremy Irons is out now.

If both you and your significant other are actors, shooting an intimate scene seems like a great idea.

After all, who else would be a better scene partner? 

But it would appear that chemistry in the bedroom doesn’t necessarily translate to the technical, arduous love scene filming process on set – as many actors have revealed. 

Most recently, Ewan McGregor and wife Mary Elizabeth Winstead admitted to using an intimacy coordinator to help choreograph their sex scenes in forthcoming Paramount+ series A Gentleman in Moscow.

Despite being married for nearly two years and in a relationship since 2017, the couple were happy to be guided through the amorous scenes as they believed it was ‘still necessary’.

According to Ewan, 52, who met his wife, 39, on the set of Fargo, it was still ‘odd’ to be naked and intimate around other people.

‘If you were doing a dance scene, you’d have a choreographer,’ he told the Radio Times.

‘It’s an important part of the work now, because it’s somebody that the director and actors meet in the middle.’

And the actor may well have had a point, as celebrities over the years have admitted that they’ve felt ‘strange’, ‘awkward’ and ‘uncomfortable’ about shooting love scenes with their partners despite thinking it would be easier.

Riley Keough – whose husband played a one night stand on Daisy Jones & The Six – admitted that the discomfort arose from the fact that she’s never had ‘pretend sex’ with him before, whereas Kyra Sedgwick said it’s ‘weird’ to shoot intimate moments with her husband Kevin Bacon because it blurs what’s ‘real’ and isn’t.

Elsewhere Angelina Jolie has before branded it ‘the strangest thing’ to make love on camera with her then husband Brad Pitt.

Riley Keough & Ben Smith-Petersen

The star of Daisy Jones & The Six revealed that it was ‘awkward’ to shoot a sex scene with her husband, Ben Smith-Petersen, in episode two of the series.

In the show, the pair have a one night stand as a distracted Daisy thinks more about song lyrics than her bed partner.

Speaking on Late Night with Seth Meyers last year, Riley, 34, admitted the producers thought ‘it would be so funny’ if her husband of nine years starred in the cameo.

‘I think they were thinking it would be less awkward and then we got there and they’re like, “This is really uncomfortable”,’ she explained.

‘For one, I’ve never had pretend sex with my husband.”

Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt

In 2015, a newly married Angelina Jolie, 48, and Brad Pitt, 60 – who have since split up – shot intimate scenes in By the Sea, a romantic drama.

Angelina also wrote, directed and produced the film – later admitting it felt unusual to simulate love making with her husband on camera.

According to Yahoo, she told Entertainment Weekly: ‘It’s the strangest thing in the world to be lying naked in a bathtub with an iPad that’s showing you the shot outside, while your husband is at the door and you’re directing him to come in and make love to you in front of a bunch of other men with cameras.

‘I couldn’t get out of the bathtub to get to the monitor because the director is naked. 

‘We’re artists and want to be free, but Brad – it’s his wife. He was on towel duty. He’d hold the towel over me.’

She added it was also ‘strange’ to ‘do a love scene with a person that you really have sex with’, explaining that the only way to tackle it was to ‘talk about the absurdity of it’.

Kevin Bacon & Kyra Sedgwick

This Hollywood It-couple have been married for 36 years – but early into their marriage, in 1991, the pair decided to do a wacky sex comedy called Pyrates together.

And speaking to Yahoo last year, Kyra, 58, revealed that it’s ‘much harder’ to do sex scenes with her real-life partner than a fellow actor.

She and Kevin, 65, have also since filmed intimate scenes together for other projects, including Murder in the First (1995) and The Woodsman (2004).

‘It’s weird because we’re always like, “Is this real or is it not?”,’ she explained.

‘As an actor, you sometimes have these dreams when you start a job where you’re sleeping and they’re filming you.

‘With Pyrates, I was [sleeping] with my husband and they were filming it! It’s like, “This can’t be real — I’m having a dream.”‘

Chris Hemsworth & Elsa Pataky

In 2018, Chris Hemsworth, 40, and his wife Elsa Pataky, 47 – who have been married for 14 years – played husband and wife in action thriller 12 Strong. 

The movie tells the story of the first Special Forces team that’s deployed to Afghanistan following the events of 9/11. 

Appearing on breakfast TV show Sunrise to promote the film, Chris said his wife would ‘boss him around’ on set.

‘We had about seven or eight year’s rehearsal time to play these characters,’ he said.

‘If we didn’t have any chemistry we’d be in trouble.’

However, when it came to filming the film’s love scenes, Chris told Sunrise hosts Samantha Armytage and David ‘Kochie’ Koch that it wasn’t exactly the kind of environment they were used to.

‘How do you do a love scene with your own wife with a crew standing around?’ Sam asked the star.

‘Yeah, that’d be the big difference,’ Chris replied adding ‘the cameras and the lights… that we weren’t accustomed to.

Sam cheekily added: ‘Well we should hope so’.

‘It’s not a usual setting for us definitely,’ Chris said.

Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart

Robert Pattinson has in past opened up about how ‘strange’ it was to shoot intimate scenes with Kristen Stewart – who he was in a relationship with – during the Twilight series.

In 2011, he told Parade: ‘I think the more comfortable you are with each other, the harder it gets to do any kind of really intense relationship scene.

‘You’re kind of thinking, “I don’t want to embarrass myself in front of this person,” “I know what she’s thinking now,” so it becomes ridiculous after awhile.

‘Watching other people have sex is never going to be that spectacular anyway. It’s a strange thing when there’s so much hype about it.’

Viola Davis & Julius Tennon

Viola Davis’s husband Julius Tennon plays one of her on-screen love interests on the hit show, How to Get Away with Murder.

And while Viola, 58, admitted she felt ‘safe’ doing intimate scenes with her partner of nearly 20 years, there were some awkward moments during filming.

Speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2017, she recounted: ‘He had to take my panties  off at one point and then I had to keep resetting them because you know, you’ve got to keep doing the scene over and over again.

‘But I forgot to reset them once and so we got to the point and he went to pull them off and his face went “V, you’ve to put your panties back on!”‘

Olivia Munn was spotted for the first time since revealing her breast cancer diagnosis last week when she stepped out with partner John Mulaney over the weekend.

The actress, 43, revealed in a devastating Instagram post last year that she had been diagnosed with cancer and had a double mastectomy last week.

Munn held hands with Mulaney, 41, with whom she shares son Malcolm, two, as they headed to see a friend in West Hollywood.

The star wore a white blouse, blue jeans and black boots as she walked with her boyfriend, with her locks worn sleek and straight.

Mulaney wore a black top and brown jeans while carrying some flowers during the outing.

In her post, Munn revealed that she was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and had undergone four surgeries in the past ten months.

In her post announcing her diagnosis, Munn wrote, “In February 2023, in an effort to be more proactive about my health, I took a genetic test that checks you for 90 cancer genes. I tested negative for everyone, including BRCA (the most famous breast cancer gene).

‘My sister Sara had also just tested negative. We called each other and high-fived over the phone. That same winter I also had a negative mammogram.

‘Two months later I was diagnosed with breast cancer.’

She continued, “In the past ten months, I’ve had four surgeries, spent so many days in bed I can’t even count, and I’ve learned more about cancer, cancer treatment, and hormones than I ever could have imagined.

“Surprisingly, I only cried twice. I guess I didn’t feel like there was time to cry. My focus narrowed and I put emotions on the table that I thought would hinder my ability to stay clear-headed.

“I tend to let people see me when I have energy, when I can get dressed and leave the house, when I can take my son to the park. I kept the diagnosis and the worries and the recovery and the pain meds and the paper coats private.

“I had to catch my breath and get through some of the hardest parts before I could share it.”

Olivia praised her midwife for deciding to calculate her breast cancer risk assessment score, adding: ‘The fact that she did that saved my life.’

‘Dr. Aliabadi looked at factors such as my age, family history of breast cancer and the fact that I had my first child after the age of 30. She found that my lifetime risk was 37 percent.

‘Because of that score, I was sent for an MRI, which led to an ultrasound and then a biopsy. The biopsy showed that I had Luminal B cancer in both breasts. Luminal B is an aggressive, fast-moving cancer.

’30 days after that biopsy I had a double mastectomy. From one day I felt completely fine, until the next day I woke up in a hospital bed after a ten-hour operation.’

Olivia, who attended the 2024 Oscars with John this weekend, added: “I’m lucky. We took it so long that I had options. I want the same for every woman who ever has to deal with this.”

She then urged her followers to ask their doctors to calculate their breast cancer risk assessment score, and urged women to keep up with their annual mammograms and breast MRIs.

“I’m so grateful to my friends and family for loving me through this. I am so grateful to John for the nights he spent researching what each surgery and medication meant and what side effects and recovery I could expect.

“Because I was there before I had every surgery and there when I woke up, always posting framed pictures of our little boy Malcolm so that it was the first thing I saw when I opened my eyes,” the star wrote.

Olivia wrote in her caption, “I hope that by sharing this, others will find comfort, inspiration, and support in their own journey.”

Mulaney wrote a sweet message to his other half after she shared the surprising health update.

Mulaney responded to a message his girlfriend posted on Wednesday announcing her diagnosis.

The comedian revealed that both he and their son “adore” Munn as he thanked her for “fought so hard” to be with them.

“Thank you for fighting so hard to be here for us. Malc and I love you,” he said, along with a red heart emoji.

Mulaney, who was previously married to Anna Marie Tendler, has been in a relationship with Munn since 2021.

As Bridget Jones, she is the perennial singleton who has never given up on the idea of romance.

But with Renée Zellweger gearing up to play her most famous character for a fourth time, friends are hoping that she, at least, has found her happy ever after.

And just like Bridget, she’s fallen for a Brit. 

Filming for the fourth and perhaps final instalment of the Bridget Jones chronicles is due to start in May.

It will be based partly on Helen Fielding’s book Mad About The Boy, in which a widowed Bridget is forced to confront single life once more when, four years after the death of Mark Darcy, she plunges headlong into the world of internet dating while juggling motherhood. 

It is thought that the film will similarly see Bridget looking for romance once again – although it is not yet known whether Colin Firth or Hugh Grant will be making appearances. 

Like her screen character, Renée, 54, is famous for her rollercoaster love life, which has included an engagement to Jim Carrey, a four-month marriage to singer Kenny Chesney, a two-year relationship with Bradley Cooper and seven years with musician Doyle Bramhall II. 

But when she arrives in London to reprise her role as Bridget, it will be with her  Plymouth-born boyfriend of three years, Ant Anstead, a TV presenter and motor specialist who is 10 years her junior.

And friends say they believe this romance might be for keeps. 

“Since Renée entered her 50s, she’s become a different woman,” says one source.

“She has a confidence and a stability that she lacked before and she’s ready and open to the love that Ant has to give.

“He also comes with a ready-made family, which can sometimes be challenging, but is also a huge blessing and something that Renée always wanted.”

The actress credits their 2021 meeting to her publicist Nanci Ryder, who had motor neurone disease and died in June 2020, aged 67.

Renée was grieving when she was told about Ant’s show Celebrity IOU: Joyride.

It features a famous person thanking someone in their life by having their car refurbished.

She wanted to express her gratitude to two brothers who had looked after Nanci, and appeared on the show to explain how fantastic they were.

She certainly wasn’t expecting to fall in love in the process. 

Renée said in one interview that she and Ant joked that he was a gift to her from Nanci, adding: “It made me smile to think on this, the serendipity of it all.”

Ant will be going back and forth to America for work while Renée is shooting, but film executives have been told to find a home that has space not only for the couple, but also for Ant’s three children from his two previous marriages – Amelie, 20, and Archie, 17, from his 12-year marriage to Louise Anstead, and four-year-old son Hudson with fellow presenter Christina Hall.

Ant’s transition from Hertfordshire police constable to Californian TV personality is worthy of a movie storyline itself.

In 2005, the former copper – who was awarded two commendations for acts of bravery – was stabbed while apprehending a violentoffender, and the brush with death caused him to re-evaluate his life.

He left the police force and began to pursue his passion for restoring cars.

As Ant’s reputation for being a master mechanic and car designer grew, he attracted the attention of TV networks.

After initially turning down an offer to appear on British television, Ant co-hosted Channel 4’s For The Love Of Cars in 2013.

In 2017 came the call that took him to California.

He was invited to join the popular Wheeler Dealers show, co-hosted by his London-based car dealer friend Mike, and it has become the most-distributed show on Discovery. 

His marriage to Louise didn’t survive the transatlantic life, and his second marriage to Christina lasted two years before they filed for divorce in September 2020.

A custody battle followed, and the pair now divide time with son Hudson equally – while Renée has stepped into the role of doting stepmother.

She was photographed with Ant’s two older kids a year ago in the UK when they attended the Goodwood Festival of Speed Gala.

Plus, the children are also regular visitors to the Californian beach home Renée and Ant share.

She also helps Ant bring up Hudson – who he calls a “glowing ball of joy” – and is regularly seen pushing him on swings, giving him snacks and chasing him on a scooter in parks near their home in Laguna Beach.

Renée – whom Ant affectionately calls “Ren” – has spoken in the past about being broody, particularly after playing a pregnant Bridget in 2016’s Bridget Jones’s Baby.

But while she never had her own child, she gets to have all the joy, the love and occasional pain of being a parent to a boisterous youngster in this blended family that her new romance has brought into her life. 

Renée’s return to the Bridget Jones franchise, a few years after winning her second Oscar in 2020 for her portrayal of Judy Garland in Judy, has surprised some.

But in reality, this is something Renée has longed for. 

When asked about it on American chat show The Talk three years ago, she joked that she was looking forward to Bridget Jones: The Menopause, adding: “Helen’s written the book and I love this character.

Ahead of her last outing as Bridget in 2016, she said of the character who spawned a million copycats: “What I love most about Bridget is her vulnerability and her openness.

“I love that  she makes it OK to be imperfect. That makes me root and cheer for her every time.

“Like all of us, she has evolved. She is more inclined to listen to her own intuition and she has matured a little bit.”

The return to a franchise that has grossed nearly £1billion at the box office also comes at a time of flux for Renée in her career.

She’s been a huge star since the age of 24, with minor roles in Dazed And Confused and Reality Bites leading to her first massive lead in 1996’s Jerry Maguire, and has since starred in hit after hit, including 2003’s Cold Mountain, for which she won her first Oscar.

Following the huge global success of Bridget Jones’s Diary and its follow up The Edge Of Reason, she took the brave decision to take a career hiatus – one that ended up lasting much longer than she expected.  

Speaking of being one of the most famous women on the planet, she said last year: “I don’t know if it was because it was a heightened experience of me being a woman of that age, or because back then cinema was so culturally important – the centre, in a way, of everyone’s consciousness – but it felt pretty chaotic.”

She went back to school – she already has a degree in English literature from the University of Texas – studying public policy and international law, and had lots of therapy. 

It was telling that one of her first comeback jobs was Bridget Jones’s Baby in 2016 – losing herself in a character she knows so well is her happy place. 

In 2019, Renée founded The Big Picture Co with her writer and producer friend Carmella Casinelli, but according to one film source, it has not been as successful as she had hoped.

The company’s project The Thing About Pam, in which she donned a fat suit to play a murderer, was critically panned and she was lambasted for not giving the role to someone who didn’t need prosthetics. 

It is not yet known what she will do to play the rather curvier Bridget – she famously put on weight for the role in the first two films, but simply donned a prosthetic stomach for her third, saying that the rollercoaster of going up and down in weight had been too difficult. 

Two other projects announced by The Big Picture Co and starring Renée have not yet come to fruition – with both the pandemic and the strikes in Hollywood no doubt having an impact.

So Bridget Jones returns just at the right time.

Of course, the world has moved on in several ways.

There is a debate to be had about whether a character so needy, weight-obsessed and prone to drinking away her problems should be celebrated. 

“I grew up in the Bridget Jones era and the books and films – with the pressure to lose weight, the smoking and drinking chardonnay by the bucketload – all had an impact on me,” says empowerment expert Laura Jeffery, 42.

“It is actually a really disempowering narrative. It is quite self-indulgent and she’s someone who has no internal trust. 

“The obsession with weight was particularly unhealthy – no woman should need to be validated by losing weight. 

I think as a society we need to celebrate diversity more.

We don’t need to fit into a mould of a certain look or be hopeless as we pine over potential romantic partners.”

But fellow female-orientated coach and writer Harriet Minter, 42, insists there is still a place for Bridget Jones, more than 20 years after she first hit our screens. 

Harriet says: “I know people are quick to write her off as this outdated example of early Noughties female hysteria, but really she was a pioneer.

“With this character, Helen Fielding had a woman writing about her own experiences, her insecurities, her fears, doubts and her concerns – she broke down the facade of us having to be perfect and unconcerned at all times.

“She was a voice of authenticity before any of us really understood what it meant to be authentic.

“I think we fell in love with Bridget Jones because she is somebody that doesn’t have it all together and isn’t pretending to.

“That is relevant more than ever in this social media age where we perfect our lives by editing the highlights reel.

“We all need a good dose of old-fashioned reality with the sense of humour that comes with her. We need to learn to laugh at ourselves again,” says Harriet.

The huge success of One Day shows that perhaps we are all ready to return to a less complicated time – one when romantic comedies were all the rage. 

It definitely feels time to welcome Bridget – and a happy Renée – back to the UK.

The difference is that Fleabag was beautifully written and performed, whereas the Bridget Jones films make panto look like Pinter.

CONOR McGREGOR fears his mother is watching his X-rated opening scene as he makes his film debut in Road House.

The UFC legend stars alongside Hollywood superstar Jake Gyllenhaal in the reboot of the 1989 Patrick Swayze classic.

And McGregor infamously makes a big splash on screen by exposing his backside for all to see.

But the Irish icon, 35, admits his mother Margaret had no idea about the shock scene.

He said: “My mom is coming to the premiere tomorrow and she has no idea! I’m a little nervous about it, but excited.

“I just did my best. I had a great crew of people with me, a great cast and they were very patient with me.”

McGregor plays the film’s antagonist, Knox, and takes on Gyllenhaal’s UFC star-turned-bouncer.

But his three sons Conor Jr, six, Rian, two, baby boy Mac and daughter Croia, five, will be banned for life from seeing their dad on the big screen.

McGregor – who has not fought since July 2021 – revealed he spent exhausting 18-hour days on set.

And he revealed Gyllenhaal’s brave stuntmen were on the receiving end of some of McGregor’s iconic KO shots.

McGregor said: “He had a lot of stunt guys and they got into trouble, they got confused and they wanted me to get them confused.

“There were like, I got back kicks in the ribs and the director said, ‘Don’t do that again!’

“I thought, this guy is on the damn floor! But it was a great experience.”
