Bam Margera shares more insight into what his relationship with fiancée is like Danni Marie came at the right time.

If We weekly exclusively revealed, the Viva La Bam alum — whose real name is Brandon Cole Margera — suggested he model Danni Marie at pro skater Ed Duff‘s property in New Hope, Pennsylvania, on October 27. Margera and Marie, both 44, first crossed paths in June — just weeks after the professional skateboarder was placed on a 5150 hold when he was caught acting erratically outside Trejo’s Tacos in Los Angeles in June, according to TMZ.

(The 5150 ruling came after several years of problems for Margera, including hospital admissions, arrests, rehabilitation periods, tensions with his former Fool costars and a custody battle over son Phoenix, 5, whom he shares with ex Nicole Boyd.)

After being released from the hospital in June, Margera checked into the Sunset Marquis hotel, where she found herself in dire straits. “I wasn’t planning on checking out. I bought a lot of drugs and I didn’t want to wake up,” he says Us. “I had so many lawsuits and lawyers who took my money but didn’t follow through Fool and file a lawsuit with them. Every time I got a call it was just a problem.

Hitting rock bottom forced Margera to do something he rarely did: pray. “I was like, ‘If I wake up from the amount of drugs and alcohol I bought, please show me the best eye candy in the world — and I need a brown pit bull,’” he says.

“The next morning I woke up at the Sunset Marquis [and] I’m like, ‘S–t, I’m alive,'” he continues. “I went to the pool and heard it [Dannii] talking about how she’s 44, Sicilian and Irish. When I met her, she said, ‘I have to go home and walk my dog’ – a brown pit bull.”

“I thought, ‘Thank you, God,’” he says of the chance encounter.

Marie, who is also a stretching coach, helped Margera get sober (she was by his side as he detoxed) and helped him get back into shape so he could start skateboarding again.

“Stretching has everything to do with skateboarding,” he explains. “I would do it for five minutes and give up. [A] doctor said that in 2013, [my muscles] were so dehydrated from alcohol abuse. They were dry rotten rubber bands and they would never return to normal.”

“Dannii said, ‘Don’t listen to that,’” he says. “I skate better than ever – now I skate every day.”

With more than 130 sober days under his belt, Margera is looking forward to the future (“Every sponsor I had, they all want to do something again,” he explains) and is happiest about returning to his roots. “I call the mom-and-pop skate shops, let them know I’m coming that way, [and] all the locals who rip show me the good spots,” he says.

Most importantly, he focuses on his relationship with Phoenix — who he recently reunited with after receiving supervised visitation — and his sobriety.

“I always woke up not knowing what to do with the day… I just looked across the street, saw an Irish pub and said, ‘That looks nice,'” says the former stunt performer. Us. “Now I wake up, I walk the dogs, I stretch, I go to the gym, I go skateboarding. Everything is a structured, fun schedule.

“And we do it together,” he adds of his fiancée. “It’s just a perfect thing.”

Bam Margera is engaged Danni Marie after six months of dating, We weekly can only confirm this.

“We are just a very good team,” the 44-year-old Margera said exclusively Us from his fiancée on Wednesday, December 20, revealing he popped the question in October. “I’ve never had structure. I always woke up and didn’t know what to do with the day…I’d just look across the street, see an Irish pub and say, “That sounds like fun.”

The Fool alum, who has struggled with addiction for years, revealed that Marie changed him after she came into his life in June and helped him get sober two months later. “Now I wake up, I walk the dogs, I stretch, I go to the gym, I go skateboarding. Everything is a structured, fun schedule,” he said. “And we do it together, and it’s just perfect.”

Margera said: ‘She’s everything I ever asked for – I couldn’t ask for anything more. We are a perfect team.”

Margera was first linked to Marie in July after she appeared on his two Instagram pages. He posted a photo with Marie in a supermarket on July 4 via his @bam_legerra account. Later that month, Margera participated in the X Games with Marie and shared photos from the event via his @captaincremebrulee profile.

Margera gave fans another glimpse of his romance with Marie in September when he announced he had gotten sober. “Thanks to @danniimarieofficial for a month of sobriety and making me happy, healthy and fit, as well as the small circle of friends who supported us,” he wrote via Instagram at the time.

“He continued [detox] and I wasn’t going anywhere,” Marie said Us of their strong bond. “We stayed in this beautiful crystal-infested pool house, where we had all just been healed, and we turned off the phones. He didn’t have a phone. I changed his number and we Xed the bad people and here we are.

When Margera celebrated his birthday a week later, Marie honored him with it a sweet Instagram message. “Congratulations to this amazing, unique soul,” she wrote on September 28. “Words cannot express the connection and bond we share. Continue to pursue your goals and keep your eyes on the future. I am beyond proud of you, and I love being by your side. .”

Before Margera went public with Marie, she faced several ups and downs in his personal life. He was married to a childhood friend Melissa Rothstein in 2007, but the couple divorced in 2012. Margera moved on Nicole Boydwhom he married in October 2013. The couple welcomed their son Phoenix in December 2017.

As Margera struggled with addiction over the next few years, he and Boyd separated. Us confirmed in September 2021 that Boyd had filed for primary legal and physical custody of their son. According to multiple media outlets, Boyd reportedly requested a legal divorce from Margera in February. Last month, she was temporarily given sole custody of Phoenix.

Once Marie came into his life, everything started to fall into place. “Dannii [got] I am on the right track,” said Margera Us on Wednesday. “I had a visit from my son Phoenix after not seeing him for 200 days.”

Lamar Odom shares his concerns for Bam Margera following the troubled Jackass star’s early departure from the former NBA player’s spa at Project West in San Diego.

Who you surround yourself with is crucial [while overcoming addiction to drugs and alcohol],” said Odom, 43 TMZ on Friday.

Odom hinted that he believes Margera, 43, is dealing with the wrong audience: “We are the company we keep.”

Odom’s comments come nearly two weeks after Margera departed his San Diego spa early on June 19.

Margera was placed in 5150 psychiatric hold on June 4 following a video message in which Bam threatened to smoke crack until he died unless he saw his five-year-old son Phoenix, whom he shares with his estranged wife Nicole Boyd.

Boyd and Margera, who married in 2013, have been living separately since 2021 and have not filed for divorce.

Odom visited Margera while the former Jackass star was in the 5150 psychiatric hold and invited him to get the help he needs at one of Odom’s Wellness Treatment Centers, which he launched April 2023.

After being released from the psychiatric hold of 5150, Margera checked into Odom’s facility in San Diego on June 7 and remained there until his early departure a week later.

Despite Odom’s pleas for Bam to complete his treatment, Margera agreed to stay at his home in Calabasas.

Although Odom did his best to get Margera to continue with his treatments, the reality star chose to leave Odom’s home on June 22 to spend the weekend in Las Vegas.

‘I just wanted it [Bam] well and i just wished he stayed strong, you know. I told him to keep it [him]surrounded by sober people,” Odom told TMZ about his last conversation with Margera.

The Jackass star was even spotted with a group of friends at a gas station in Hollywood stocking up on snacks for his supposed road trip to Vegas.

In the interview, Odom said that while he didn’t know the purpose behind the trip to Vegas, he said going to Sin City wasn’t the best idea for Margera.

The former NBA star also stated that he believes that if Margera fails to stay sober, he will not be able to see his son again.

“I hope he takes care of himself… I think so [Bam] must put Jesus in his life. Bring Jesus into his life and that if he doesn’t get sober, no Phoenix. I do not think so [Nicole is] I’m going to allow that,” said Odom.

Since the mid-2000s, Margera struggled with alcoholism and has faced multiple legal ramifications.

He has often been seen drunk on camera on his reality TV shows and in behind-the-scenes footage of the Jackass movies.

Margera’s drinking problems got worse after the 2011 death of close friend and co-star of the Jackass franchise, Ryan Dunn.

He first entered rehab in 2009, but left after four days.

Since then, the former Jackass star has had at least seven consecutive attempts at rehab without completing the program, even having been sober for two years at one point before relapsing.

Margera has spoken candidly about his struggle with alcohol in public a 2017 appearance on The Nine Club that in 2012 he lost control of his drinking due to Dunn’s death and that he suffered from bone spurs in his feet that forced him to put his skating career on hold.

‘[I began binge drinking during 2012] to kill boredom.’ said Margera.

Bam Margera has been placed in a 5150 psychiatric cell after a spiral of disturbing behavior culminating in the star threatening to ‘smoke crack until I’m dead’ unless he could see his son.

The Jackass star, 43, who has been embroiled in a nasty custody battle with his estranged wife Nicole Boyd, who he claims keeps him away from son Phoenix, five, has sparked mass concern over his social media tirades – and is considered as a danger to self and others, reports TMZ.

LAPD officers found him Sunday at Trejo’s Tacos by tracking his phone — and called in a psychiatric evaluation team. It was alleged that when they met Bam, they decided he should be placed under a 5150.

Bam was taken to a mental health facility, but it is unclear if he is still being treated.

The involuntary detention means Margera could be held in hospital for up to 72 hours for evaluation and treatment.

This comes after Margera threatened to “smoke crack” until he is dead unless he is allowed to see his son amid an ongoing divorce battle with his wife.

The former Jackass star, 43, claims she has cut off contact with their son Phoenix for the past two months.

He posted a tirade on social media lashing out at his family and his estranged wife, saying they are driving him to drink.

Margera then threatened to go down the boardwalk to smoke crack with the homeless until he dies or until he is allowed to see his son.

According to his attorney Peter W. Thompson, he has not seen Phoenix since March 29 during a personal visit in California and is not allowed to communicate with his child by phone or FaceTime.

His wife’s lawyer issued a statement about Margera’s video, urging the TV stuntman to stay sober.

‘Unfortunately, that’s not how addictions work. People’s behavior does not encourage others to drink. This is a typical defense mechanism, and it shows that Bam may not have learned much from treatment for his addiction in the past,” attorney David Glass said. TMZ.

“You have to take responsibility for your own actions. Nikki sincerely hopes that Bam can first achieve and then maintain sobriety, for his own good and for the good of their son.’

Margera split with Boyd in 2021 and went to court in September of that year to seek full custody of their son.

She filed for divorce in February due to irreconcilable differences and petitioned the court to award her $15,000 a month in child support, as well as legal and physical custody of their child.

In the documents, Boyd said Margera is allowed to see their child as long as he is supervised and he completes rehab for drug and alcohol problems.

But Margera has been trying to get the judge overseeing the divorce case to dismiss the case while also trying to take the next hearing to the next level, according to documents obtained by TMZ.

The reality star claims his ex won’t allow him to see their young son Phoenix, though she claimed in her own filing that his lack of visits is due to his own bad behaviour.

He took to social media to lash out at Boyd and his family, threatening to smoke crack until he was granted visitation rights.

“This is an official message to everyone who cares about me,” Margera said.

“I haven’t seen Phoenix in two f****** months and I’m so f****** tired of it. I cry every day, I miss him so much and I know I have to wake up every day knowing that I probably won’t talk to him or see him.

“So yeah Nicki drives me to f****** drinking just like my f****** mom and so does my f****** pep talk dad telling me nothing but I’m a f****** ****** fat loser piece of shit drug addict.

“I’m gonna smoke crack with the bums on the boardwalk until I’m dead or unless you get me the goddamn Phoenix. So get to work Nicki or anyone else who wants to help. I want Phoenix.’

Thompson told TMZ that Margera and Boyd had unsuccessfully tried to set up a routine where he would talk to his son via FaceTime, but it never worked out.

Margera’s camp said they find it “completely unreasonable” for Boyd not to record the FaceTime or phone calls he made because it poses no danger to the child, the outlet reported.

As it stands, the next scheduled hearing in Margera’s divorce case is set for July 11, but the skater doesn’t want to wait that long.

The last time he saw his child was on March 29 during a personal visit in California.

That interaction didn’t go well, as Margera was seen in a clip on the site arguing with Boyd at a restaurant in Burbank, California, about the time she spent with the child.

In the clip, he could be seen arguing with Boyd and telling her, “Phoenix has its own mind. Let him have his own opinion!’

And he was subsequently arrested for public intoxication in the aftermath of the incident.

That was the last time Margera had any communication with his son, Thompson said.

Sources said Margera has unsuccessfully tried to deliver gifts he bought for his son for Christmas 2022, but Boyd will not deliver them through Margera or third parties he has offered to deliver them.

Margera complained to the court about the matter, and Boyd replied that she was fine with him visiting the child, provided they took place in California, where she lives, and he was sober.

It is said that he pays Boyd’s house and car expenses, and remains amenable to working out an arrangement with Boyd and her attorneys for any level of communication.

Boyd’s attorney David Glass cited Margera’s behavior in his response to the outlet.

“From Nikki’s perspective, Bam’s ongoing instability is what makes connecting between him and Phoenix difficult,” Glass said. “But Nikki remains open to regular FaceTime communication, as long as Bam is not disturbed during the conversations, and as long as Bam doesn’t belittle Nikki during the conversations.”

Struggling with addiction, Margera has been in and out of rehab since 2009, and he escaped from court-ordered rehab more than three times last year.

A judge restructured his treatment to no longer require him to stay in a hospital to prevent another escape attempt.

He made headlines in recent months amid a flurry of legal issues, including an altercation with his brother, who accused him of drug use. Margera has denied the allegations.
