The Calcutta University LLB Entrance Exam 2023 will be held in the last week of July. The university has announced the application fee, eligibility criteria and the number of places offered.

The University of Calcutta Law School is all set to begin the registration process for admission into the 5-year integrated LLB programme. The CU LLB admission registration will commence in online mode from July 5 for the academic year 2023-24. Interested candidates can fill the registration form on the official website, caluniv.ac.in. Specifically, the entrance exam for the CU LLB will be conducted for a total of 100 points in computer-based mode. The multiple-choice questions will have knowledge-based problems that test an applicant’s English proficiency, general reasoning, current affairs and general knowledge.

As per the given schedule, the examination authority will conduct the entrance examination for Calcutta University LLB 2023 in the last week of this month. The hall ticket for LLB entry will be issued from 25th to 29th July. The last date to apply for the Calcutta University LLB application 2023 is July 19. Students are advised to carefully read all instructions on the website before submitting the registration form.

CU LLB Admission 2023: Application Fee

Candidates must pay an application fee online to register for the course. The fee for the general category candidates is Rs 500. SC, ST and PwD candidates are required to pay Rs 250.

CU LLB Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Applicants applying for the Calcutta University 5-year LLB program for the academic year 2023 must have completed their class 12 examination or its equivalent from the board recognized by the University of Calcutta. General category applicants must have obtained a minimum of 45 per cent in the best of four subjects excluding environmental studies from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE). SC, ST, OBC, Person with a Disability must have obtained at least 40 percent marks in the best four subjects. Students coming from the board other than WBCHSE such as ISC, CBSE, Rabindra Mukto Vidyalay and NIOS are required to get a ‘Certificate of Equivalence’ from the Registrar.
