The Princess of Wales has touchingly revealed how she is reassuring her young children amid her battle with cancer after the announcement she is fighting the disease.

The mother-of-three says she and Prince William have explained the situation to their children George, Charlotte and Louis, after the ‘huge shock’ of her diagnosis.

Princess Catherine said had told them she is doing ‘well and getting stronger every day’ and that she was ‘focusing on the things that will help me heal’.

The 42-year-old also revealed that she was comforted by having her husband by her side, and that they were doing ‘everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family’.

In a televised address, the future Queen revealed that she had been diagnosed with cancer after undergoing a successful abdominal operation in January, and that doctors have advised her to undergo preventative chemotherapy.

Speaking from a bench surrounded by daffodils and spring blossom, the Princess of Wales revealed her shock diagnosis this evening.

‘I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you, personally, for all the wonderful messages of support and for your understanding whilst I have been recovering from surgery,’ she said.

‘It has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family, but I’ve had a fantastic medical team who have taken great care of me, for which I am so grateful.’

Kensington Palace has said it will not be sharing details of what kind of cancer the princess has, or what stage of cancer it is and has asked people not to speculate. 

The future Queen revealed that she and her husband have been focusing on their children during this difficult time. 

She said: ‘But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be ok. 

‘As I have said to them; I am well and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal; in my mind, body and spirits. 

‘Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance too. 

‘As is the love, support and kindness that has been shown by so many of you. It means so much to us both.’

It is understood that the King – who is also currently undergoing cancer treatment himself – and the Queen have both been informed of the news. 

Earlier she revealed that she had been diagnosed with cancer after undergoing a planned operation at The London Clinic two months ago. 

‘In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous,’ she said.

‘The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. 

‘My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment.’

The Princess of Wales added that the news had left the family shaken and they have been coming to terms with her diagnosis in private. 

She said: ‘This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family. 

‘As you can imagine, this has taken time. It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment.’

Catherine added that she and her family would like privacy while she battles the disease.

She said: ‘We hope that you will understand that, as a family, we now need some time, space and privacy while I complete my treatment. 

‘My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I look forward to being back when I am able, but for now I must focus on making a full recovery. 

‘At this time, I am also thinking of all those whose lives have been affected by cancer. 

‘For everyone facing this disease, in whatever form, please do not lose faith or hope. You are not alone.’

Disturbing footage has captured the moment an Ohio mother calmly lied to police about finding her infant daughter dead in her crib – after secretly leaving the child behind to go on a tropical holiday.

Kristel Candelario, 32, was confronted after her 16-month-old daughter Jailyn was found starving in her own filth after being stranded for 10 days.

The mother, sentenced this week to life in prison, was seen on police bodycam footage in which officers said her daughter had been vomiting throughout the week of June 2023.

Candelario was actually frolicking on a Puerto Rican beach.

In the shocking clip, she coldly told officers: “She had no food, she refused.”

While her daughter was starving, Candelario shared vacation photos of her smiling on a beach, with the caption, “The time enjoyed is the time truly lived.”

A medical examiner ruled the child had died of starvation and severe dehydration, and a prosecutor said the sight “will stay with me for many years to come.”

Although she later pleaded guilty to aggravated murder and child endangerment, the new bodycam footage shows that she initially lied to police when they questioned her about her daughter’s sudden death.

While she claimed the toddler was “refusing food” before she died, an officer asks her, “And how was she Wednesday and Thursday?”

“She refused, perhaps because she hadn’t eaten two days earlier,” she replied, before shrugging her shoulders to feign confusion in the chilling clip.

“But that’s why I was scared, because I’m like, oh my God, we have to go to the hospital because she’s not eating anything.”

Candelario, who did not appear angry or emotional about her daughter’s death, said the child looked “small” and was “losing weight,” and continued to make up a story about being home all the time.

“When I woke up this morning, she was asleep,” she said. “She sleeps every day, twelve hours.”

“She sleeps from 9 p.m. to 9 or 10 a.m., 12 hours, so this morning I slept too, she never wakes up.”

An officer interrupted her to ask what happened the night before, to which the killer said, “She cried a lot last night.

“And I see one moment, when I was taking a shower, she screamed like, ‘Aaah,’ I don’t know, she probably got hurt, maybe.”

“I pick her up this morning and she looks really dry,” she continued, before saying a few sentences in Spanish.

At her sentencing this week, a judge condemned her actions in the strongest terms as the mother was sent behind bars for life with no chance of parole.

County Common Pleas Court Judge Brendan Sheehan told Candelario she had committed “the ultimate betrayal” by leaving her daughter alone without food.

“Just as you failed to release Jailyn from her captivity, you should also spend the rest of your life in a cell without freedom,” Judge Sheehan said.

“The only difference will be that at least the prison will feed you and give you fluids that you denied it.”

Candelario, who struggles with depression and related mental health issues, said she has prayed daily for forgiveness.

“I’m in so much pain over the loss of my baby, Jailyn,” she said. ‘I am very hurt by everything that has happened.

“I don’t try to justify my actions, but no one knew how much I suffered and what I went through… God and my daughter have forgiven me.”

Curiously, she made the trips with her eldest daughter, and it is unclear why Candelario asked no one to help her care for her child while she was traveling.

After ten days of sunbathing on the beach and enjoying the local sights, she returned to her home on June 16 to find her daughter not breathing.

Paramedics and Cleveland police tragically pronounced the one-year-old dead at the scene, and prosecutors said the child was discovered “on a liner soiled with urine and feces with soiled blankets.”

Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O’Malley announced the plea in February, saying, “This case is one of those truly unimaginable cases that will stay with me for many years to come.

Reality stars Sue and Noel took their children to Disneyland Paris for Christmas, and they are planning another trip away.

Taking to Instagram yesterday, Sue revealed how she had been doing passport management for her children.

She said: “Passport update for anyone who wants to know how long it took.

“They were approved, one yesterday and one today, so it took 13 days from paying online to being approved and printed.”

Sue said she had been issued two initial passports and daughter Ellie needed an extension, which had taken five days to be approved and delivered.

The mother praised the online system as “a really, really good service” and said: “I will say online is definitely faster.”

And excitingly, the successful passport administration means the family can go on holiday again.

Sue teased her fans by saying: “Now get some relaxing time and some sun.”

She didn’t reveal a specific destination or whether anything had been booked yet, but with Easter and summer on the horizon, a trip could be in the offing.

The Radfords have been busy lately with the launch of their new book, The Radfords: Making Life Count.

Despite only being released on February 29, the book has already climbed to second place on the prestigious list of bestsellers.

In the book, Sue happily clapped back at the haters, who initially doubted the couple when Sue became pregnant during her teenage years.

A day after his arrest, a Noida police official spoke to the media and narrated how Elvish behaved as if he was not afraid of anything during interrogation. According to a report published in Indian Express, the YouTuber wanted to show off his ‘swag’ and that is the reason he reportedly started delivering venom at rave parties. The report quoted a police officer as saying, “During interrogation, Yadav did not accept the crime… but we have a lot of evidence. For him, it was a statement that he has ‘swag’ or ‘bhaukaal’. Veronica, 38, is on ‘food stamps’ and the US version of the benefits, despite earning up to £5,500 a month posting videos on TikTok.

As a self-employed art seller, Veronica’s income can vary greatly from month to month, but despite claiming some benefits, she says she doesn’t get everything she can.

“I’m not even getting everything we would qualify for,” explained the mother, who had her first child at age 14.

“I get $1,400 in food stamps a month and medical coverage.

“We would qualify for things like WIC and incompetence because my son was battling cancer, but we don’t get those extra things.”

The main goal for the mother is to have “food security,” which is partly why she started posting clips to TikTok.

But the income from it is not reliable enough to depend on it, she told Fabulous exclusively.

“My TikTok income really fluctuates.

“I had a month where I made over $7,000 from TikTok but the average was $2,700, but this last payout was only $300 because I barely posted anything,” she said.

Although two of her twelve children have now moved out, leaving a bit more space, there was a point where things were so tight that one of her children was living in the kitchen cupboard.

“When we bought this house we thought this was a kitchen cabinet.

“I use it for Halloween storage now, but it was also my eight-year-old’s bedroom, it’s just big enough that he could stand in it,” she previously explained.

Trolls have been cruel to the busy mum in the past, telling her she shouldn’t have so many children if she has to claim benefits to house and feed them.

“People judge me, of course, but the way I look at it, as long as they get to eat, I’m happy,” she said.

Veronica said she usually cooks food for her large brood, but if she doesn’t have much energy She coughs up the money for a takeaway meal.

“As well as the extra cost of a takeaway it also means I’ve wasted the £25 on the food I bought because it will spoil,” she said.

But the mom-shamers haven’t stopped Veronica from doing the best she can with what little she has, nor does she plan to give up her right to benefits.

“I am a single mother with ten children who still live at home and no support from their father.

“So yes, I accept the food benefits. Life is expensive,” she said.

The mother previously admitted that she would like to have more children.
