Nicki Minaj is forced to move a concert for her Pink Friday 2 World Tour after you have felt ill.

“Due to doctor’s orders, Nicki Minaj must reschedule her NOLA show tonight,” the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans announced via Instagram on Monday, March 18. “Since Nicki is still sick, our team doesn’t want to risk making others sick, and Nicki might not be able to give NOLA the show they deserve.”

The statement continued: “We are working hard to find a new date, so please save your tickets and we will inform you shortly.”

In the days leading up to her performance, Minaj, 41, dropped hints that she wasn’t feeling her best. Over the weekend, the artist said she was experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.

“Barbz please send me healing energy,” she wrote via X on March 16. “I woke up feeling like I had Covid. Thank God not. You are just everything. I appreciate you. I love you so much.”

Minaj continued, ‘I’m going to Station Head in a few minutes. Barbz, tell everyone. …and my voice will probably sound a little different.”

But while headlining the Rolling Loud festival in Los Angeles on March 15, Minaj received positive receptions from thousands of concertgoers.

“ and the love and appreciation they showed to the barbz,” she wrote on X after the performance. “Thank you, @RollingLoud and for every barb that gave me the most amazing energy that mentally pushed me through my show. KALI!!!!!!”

The Pink Friday 2 World Tour – with special guest Monica – started on March 1 in Oakland, California and will make stops in the United States and Europe before ending in Berlin on June 7.

Before her first show, Minaj gave fans a taste of what to expect when they see her perform live.

“I’ve done three world tours now, so my fans know the material, so my focus on this tour will definitely be on the new album, creating a world of that album and sprinkling everything else around that,” she said. Watch what happens live with Andy Cohen in December 2023. “But of course we’re still going to have as much fun with our throwbacks as ever. I always make sure I do my rap stuff, my pop stuff, like, everyone’s having fun. I make sure my fans feel well nourished during the show.”

Minaj’s next scheduled show is on Wednesday, March 20 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

Nicki Minaj has been slammed for saying rival Megan Thee Stallion was trying to have her ‘Rihanna moment’ by discussing Tory Lanez shooting her during a 2022 TV interview.

Megan, 28, who reignited her feud with Nicki, 41, courtesy of new diss track Hiss, detailed how Lanez had shot her in the foot during a CBS interview with Gayle King. The attack took place during a drunken argument after a pool party at Kylie Jenner’s house in 2020 and Lanez currently serving 10 years in prison.

Rihanna famously appeared on ABC News in 2009 in which she broke down in tears while discussing Brown’s physical assault on her after Clive Davis’s pre-Grammy party in February.

Nicki joined podcast host Joe Budden on Spaces on Wednesday, with the rapper accusing Megan of garnering sympathy via feuding with her to reignite her career.

She said: ‘It’s so obvious. She wanted a Rihanna moment so bad’ before adding ‘You gon google.’

‘Rihanna never would milk. You could tell she couldn’t wait to try to move on with her life. And then people even bashed her for not milking it.

‘Rihanna knows she was a superstar with or without controversy. She’s loved, with or without controversy, sympathy.’

Fans quickly took to social media to slate Nicki , with one writing: ‘Everyday I start losing more and more respect for Nicki Minaj. like beefing with Megan Thee Stallion for no clear reason is one thing but this is just gone way too far to mock her trauma online. like this is not normal behavior.

Another typed: ‘The fact that the only thing nicki can come for is megan’s trauma and her height? goes to show who the real rap queen is!! lmao nicki minaj so corny she need to go find some business and take care of her family.’

A third typed: ‘Nicki Minaj weaponizes Rihanna’s DV against Megan Thee Stallion. Saying Meg wanted a ‘Rihanna moment’ and following with this…’

Another wrote: ‘you are actually going to hell Nicki Minaj. this is actually insane and incredibly insensitive to compare Megan Thee Stallion getting shot to claiming “she wanted to have a Rihanna moment”. domestic violence is never funny to bring up or even compare.’

One fan penned: ‘Nicki Minaj, a woman who has allegedly experienced and spoken out about abuse, has now criticized Megan Thee Stallion—a Black woman—for also enduring abuse. 

‘She even compared the trauma of Rihanna and Megan to make a point. It’s ironic how we’re expected to empathize with Nicki’s experiences, but when it’s about other women, it’s labeled as seeking ‘sympathy points.’ Her actions are really unhinged and disgusting, and she seriously needs an intervention.

Rapper Latto sent support to Megan in the wake of her feud, writing in a comment on an Instagram post: ‘U making us proud Meg’ – with the star responding with hearts,

This comes after Megan was slammed for bringing up ‘Megan’s Law’ in her new diss track, which ignited her recent feud with Nicki.

Richard Kanka, who championed the sex-offender notification law named after his late daughter Megan Kanka, who was murdered in 1994, called the lyric ‘disrespectful’ as per TMZ. 

In her new song ‘Hiss’, the rapper appears to take aim at Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, 45, who is a registered sex offender in New York. 

‘These h**s don’t be mad at Megan,’ she rapped, referring to herself, before adding, ‘These h**s mad at Megan’s Law.’  

Though many defended the lyric by pointing out that it brings awareness to the law, Kanka nonetheless finds his late daughter’s name being brought up in the expletive-filled song offensive, and is considering legal action.

Kanka told TMZ the use of his daughter’s name was ‘highly offensive to the pain his daughter and family felt.’

He admitted that he has not heard the song yet, but has read the lyrics, and does not approve. Kanka also shared he found out about the song from one of his kids.

His daughter Megan was 7 years old when she was raped and killed in July 1994. It was the Kankas’ neighbor and convicted sex offender Jesse Timmendequas who committed the crimes. His two roommates were also convicted sex offenders.

Richard and his wife Maureen, who were unaware that three sex offenders lived across from them, helped champion Megan’s Law into action in 1996.

Megan’s Law mandates the ‘public disclosure of information about registered sex offenders when required to protect the public.’ 

The information is provided so that members of communities can better protect themselves and their children. 

Megan’s lyrics were perceived by Nicki’s fans as a diss toward her husband, who is a registered sex offender. He was convicted of the attempted rape of a 16-year-old in 1994. He spent four years in prison.

He was sentenced to three years probation and one year of home detention in July 2022 after he failed to register as a sex offender in California.

The lyric may have also been aimed at Nicki’s brother, Jelani Maraj, who was convicted in 2017 of predatory sexual assault for the rape of his 11-year-old stepdaughter.

He was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison in January 2020, after a 2018 appeal failed. 

In retaliation, Nicki went on Instagram Live and demanded Megan to ‘conjure up her mother and apologize.’ Megan’s mother, Holly Thomas, passed away in March 2019 from brain cancer.

Minaj also responded to the perceived slight with her own diss track over the weekend, titled Big Foot – a song packed with digs, including one reference to Megan’s alleged cosmetic surgery. 

According to a source she is ready to prey on all of Megan’s weaknesses and is ready to ‘drown’ her with further blows, having already taken serious aim at her rival on her latest single.

But while Megan has yet to respond, a source close to Nicki has claimed this is just the beginning of their public spat, with the Anaconda rapper prepared to ‘drown’ her fellow artist with more punches.

‘I know that Nicki seems to be in the wrong right now because she went there, but she is unapologetic, and we are only seeing what they let the public see,’ a source told DailyMail.com exclusively. ‘Behind the scenes it is even worse.’

They continued: ‘Megan has formed an alliance with Cardi B to talk s**t about Nicki, but Nicki has been in the game much longer than both of them.

‘Nicki told Megan she needs to sit down and respect those who set the path for her. Megan came for Nicki’s husband and brother and in the worst way. So, Nicki responded by taking it a level higher.’

The source added that it’s likely this is only the beginning of their fallout, and that Nicki is prepared to take their spat even further.

They continued: ‘If Megan wants to keep this going, it is going to get extremely ugly – more so than it already is. Nicki knows her weaknesses and will play on all of them. If Megan thinks that Nicki’s beef with Cardi is bad it is a drop in the pool that she is about to drown Megan in.’

Nicki doesn’t hold back in her track Big Foot, which was released on Sunday night.

In the song, she hits out at Megan – real name Megan Pete – and asks, ‘Um, why did you lie about your lipo?’ before adding: ‘F**kin’ your best friend man is crazy, you the type, though.’

Nicki, who previously collaborated with Megan on the 2019 song Hot Girl Summer, also appeared to reference the time Megan was shot in the foot by Tory Lanez in July 2020.

Rapper Lanez, real name Daystar Peterson, was sentenced to 10 years in jail in August 2023.

Megan Thee Stallion debuted the electrifying music video for her new song Hiss on Friday.

The 28-year-old rapper looked stunning as she flaunted her figure in several breathtaking ensembles for the snake-themed track, which comes a few months after her Cobra single.

The clip opens with the entertainer emerging from an egg, before she begins spewing lyrics about legal battles with Tory Lanez, her choice of bedroom partners and dissing rap rivals.

One such line appears to have reignited her feud with Nicki Minaj as Megan sings, “These hoes ain't mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan's Law,” referring to the US law that requires law enforcement officers to provide information on registered sex offenders to share. with the public.

The lyrics appeared to be a swipe at Nicki's husband Kenneth Petty, who is a registered sex offender after pleading guilty to attempted rape at age 16.

Nicki wasted no time in firing back as she hopped on Instagram Live to tell Megan to “bring out her mother and apologize,” while also bashing her for the Tory Lane shooting.

“You just had everyone thrown under the bus. You had Da Baby thrown under the bus, Tory (Lanez), your best friend, your mother. You better call your mom and say… and apologize,” Minaj said during the IG live session.

Megan's mother, Holly Thomas, died in March 2019 from a cancerous brain tumor.

Nicki also teased a new song with a diss to Megan.

Referring to the 2020 shooting that injured Megan's feet – and for which Tory Lanez was jailed – she raps: 'Bad b*** she like six feet, I call her Big Foot/ The bitch fell off, I said stand up your good foot .'

Nicki also said during the broadcast, “You got three Grammys and you gotta learn to rap to the beat and get comfortable in the music,” before doing an impression of Megan rapping and cackling in a thick Southern accent.

The fiery exchanges didn't stop there.

Nicki continued the chatter about X by showing off a photo of her manicured feet.

In response, Megan took to her Instagram Stories and shared a photo of herself smiling, as if she wasn't bothered by the seizures.

Reactions poured in from fans on X, formerly Twitter, announcing whether they were Team Nicki or Team Megan.

One wrote 'Live footage of Nicki Minaj losing it after Megan Thee Stallion hit her on 'HISS', with a clip from Means Girl where they make a fire book.

Another wrote, “I'm sorry…I love Megan but this is Rap and Nicki Minaj just got some new respect from me because sis isn't afraid to be direct with it.”

Some followers were simply here because of the feud, writing “Megan vs Nicki finally, A REAL RAP BEEF.” You guys can keep that Latto vs Ice Spice bs.” as another posted 'I'm really enjoying this Nicki x Megan beef.'

The tension between the female rappers was also evident when Nicki released her album Pink Friday 2 in December, as the lyrics apparently included shots at Megan and Iggy Azalea.

Megan had a falling out with Iggy over a failed collaboration in 2019.

“Stay in your Tory lane, b*tch, I'm not Iggy,” Nicki rapped on the ATL Jacob-produced track.

While the exact starting point of the feud between the superstars remains unclear, many fans believe their relationship soured when Nicki claimed in September 2022 that Megan advised her to have an abortion.

During her Queen Radio ProgramNicki accused an unnamed person of suggesting that she terminate her pregnancy at the abortion clinic after she rejected their offer for an alcoholic drink.

One follower summarized it on X: 'This is what the Nicki and Mehgan beef started with. Nicki was trying to get pregnant and wasn't drinking. Megan was at Nicki's house and told her that if she got pregnant, she should just abort it. Nicki had to remind her that Kenneth was in the other room.”

Nicki Minaj was as surprised as fans when she saw herself with blue skin on the 2012 cover Fashion.

As she reflects on her most memorable fashion moments during a Thursday, December 7 episode Fashion‘Living in appearance’, Minaj, 40, revealed she had no idea the issue would give her a drastic makeover.

“Here’s something you guys don’t know,” she said as she talked to the camera. “I’m not painted blue for this. In fact, I didn’t find out until the book came out.” Minaj continued: “The color was handled in post by the world famous [photographer] Stephen Klein, and he turned it into something iconic for me. It just worked.”

Although she was unaware of the artistic choice, the look remains one of her “all-time favorites.” Minaj said, “My first time getting shot Fashion with Oscar de la Renta… Very special.”

This isn’t the first time Minaj has been out of the picture when it comes to the beauty and fashion industry. Last month, her perfume, called Pink Friday 2, launched weeks earlier than Minaj expected. At that time she took over social media to share her confusion.

“I had no idea,” she wrote in response to a fan who asked if she knew it would be dropped that day. “Not informed of anything. Didn’t receive a link to post. I just woke up one day and boom! I saw you guys talking about it.”

The fragrance would be available on Sunday, December 17, following the release of the fifth studio album, also titled Pink Friday 2 – which is expected to release on Minaj’s birthday, Friday, December 8.

Elsewhere in the Fashion YouTube video, Minaj reflected on her 2022 Met Gala dress.

“Oh no,” she said, looking at her gaze. “I realized just at this moment that something good came out of it… It solidified for me the fact that I had to have a breast reduction.”

For fashion’s biggest night, she wore a feather-embellished Burberry dress with a strapless neckline and a flowing skirt. She paired it with an oversized baseball cap and black and silver rhinestones scattered across her body.

“I knew before we even left the room that the boobs were about to have a night of their own,” she said as she reminisced about the preparations for the big night.

In Minaj’s November 2023 cover story with Fashionshe shared, “I recently had to have a breast reduction, and I actually love it.”
