Tish Cyrus And Noah Cyrus have no intention of solving their problems anytime soon.

A source reveals this exclusively in the latest issue of We weekly that Tish, 56, is “not open to any reconciliation” after arguing with her youngest daughter, 24, over Dominic Purcell. As a result, Miley Cyrus is in the middle of the drama.

The insider says Noah “refuses to communicate” with Miley, 31, adding: “Miley is devastated that her family has been torn apart.” Although Miley did her best to help solve the problems,” she believes [the family rift is] beyond repair at this point,” the source said.

Us announced late last month that Noah “saw” Purcell, 54, before Tish started “pursuing” him. Noah and Purcell were involved for “about eight to nine months” but “were having problems.” (Tish and Purcell exchanged vows in 2023 after a year of dating. Noah, for her part, is engaged to fashion designer Pinkus since June 2023.)

Tish explained the timeline of her romance with Purcell – and her divorce Billy Ray Cyrus. The former couple, who share children Miley, Braison Cyrus, 29, and Noah split in 2020 after more than two decades of marriage. (Tish is also mom to Brandi, 36, and Trace, 35, from a previous marriage.)

“In 2016, Dom sent me a DM,” Tish said earlier in February on the podcast episode “Call Her Daddy,” in which she called Purcell her “hall pass” while she was married to Billy. “I followed him on Instagram and he sent me a DM and said, ‘Hey Tish, I just wanted to do it.’ [say]”I think you’re super cool and you’re doing great with your family.” … I haven’t seen it in a year.”

Tish contacted Purcell after her marriage to Billy Ray, 62, ended. (The country singer subsequently moved on with singer Firerose, whom he married in 2023.)

“So we went to lunch and kissed for about three hours,” Tish said of her first date with Purcell. She recalled them saying “I love you” the next day, adding, “I’m living my best life, and he’s hot.”

After Tish and Purcell tied the knot, Miley became emotional seeing her mother find love again.

“To see my mother so happy and in love is very emotional for me. Dom and my mother share the sweetest, most genuine love,” Miley told Vogue in August 2023. “The day was as special and magical as she was. To stand next to my mother and give her away to Dom is a moment I will cherish for the rest of my life.”

A second source has now said this Us that Miley was “fully aware” of the situation between Tish and Noah, saying: “She definitely knew about it [Noah and Purcell’s] relationship, but she sided with her mother.”

‘His ex had seen he hit me up and blocked me from his Instagram. I almost peed my pants because I was like… Why am I blocked? He doesn’t even know I exist, and I’m blocked. We were laughing so hard.’

The wedding was held at Miley’s lavish Malibu mansion, and the insider claimed that the Grammy winner had guards stationed outside in case Noah did attempt to show up. 

However, Noah kept busy on the big day by spending time with her brother, Braison. She took to Instagram to share moments from their day together, including an excursion to Walmart while sporting a Billy Ray Cyrus shirt. 

At the time, a separate source informed Us Weekly, ‘It’s no secret neither of them approves of Dominic, and that’s created tension with their mom.

Earlier this month, Tish revealed she had a ‘complete psychological breakdown’ in the wake of her split from Billy Ray.

During an interview on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast, the star detailed the end of her marriage to longtime husband amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

‘It was so crazy, my two biggest fears in life were being alone and my mom passing away. And I had one month of a complete psychological breakdown,’ she recalled.

The whole process had sent her entire world into a tailspin, she explained, as she detailed what an incredibly hard time it was for her.

Tish explained: ‘It was the worst thing, it was not good… Kind of pushed the mom thing under the rug, and then the divorce thing came.

‘I could not eat, I could not sleep, I could not stop crying. I don’t have my mom, and then I don’t have my husband that has been my husband for 30 years. Like I’m scared.’

She also said that she pushed her now ex-husband into doing Hannah Montana with daughter, Miley, so their ‘family could be together.’ 

In regards to the split and his relationship with his kids following the divorce, Billy Ray told People, ‘Everyone knew that that relationship was over a long time ago. Everybody’s turning the page. It’s been a lot, but everyone knew that it was time for a change.’ 

Billy has also since moved on following the divorce from Tish, and married Australian singer, Firerose, late last year in October during an ‘ethereal celebration of love.’ 

The ceremony was held two months after Tish and Dominic said ‘I do’ in August. 

In the caption of the joint post with his new wife, Billy sweetly penned, ’10/10/23 will always be the beautiful, joyous day that our two souls united as one in holy matrimony.’ 

Cyrus expressed, ‘It was the most perfect, ethereal celebration of love we could have ever imagined.’

Now the Wrecking Ball singer’s entire family have been thrust into the spotlight (not just her Achy Breaky Heart hitmaker father Billy Ray Cyrus) as they deal with the very public fallout of a family love triangle. 

Centre stage this time is Miley’s mother Tish Cyrus, 56, who has been accused of ‘stealing’ her new husband Dominic Purcell, 54, following her divorce from Billy Ray. 

The crux of the issue comes from who she’s said to have turned Dominic away from, none other than her estranged daughter and Miley’s younger sister, 24-year-old Noah Cyrus.  

A bombshell Us Weekly report published on Tuesday claims Tish and Dominic’s love story is more convoluted than an episode of Hannah Montana, with Dominic first dating his new wife’s young daughter before moving onto her mother. 

In a further twist to the shock claims, Tish has claimed that her husband first reached out to her on Instagram in 2016 – years before he apparently dated Noah – making it clear that he had always had Tish in his sights as the end goal.

Noah was also notably wearing a T-shirt featuring a photo of her father Billy Ray, who had divorced Tish two years prior.

Noah also unfollowed her mother on Instagram following the divorce, according to RadarOnline. However, she continued following her father on the platform.

Shortly after the wedding Trace and Tish shared throwback family photos which did not include Noah and Braison.

In the black-and-white snap, Tish posed with a young Miley, Trace, and Brandi.

Trace posted an old family snap via Instagram Stories, and the photo was re-shared by Tish, who added red heart emojis to it.

Rumblings of tension between the siblings first emerged in 2020 when Noah admitted it had been ‘unbearable’ growing up in the ‘shadow’ of her elder sister. 

Noah was discussing her song Young & Sad in an Instagram Live session when she dissected a lyric, where she compares her sister to, ‘sunshine, bringing good light wherever she’ll go,’ while she, ‘was born to rain clouds, blessed in her shadows.’

‘Being born in the family I was in, everyone gave me such a hard time for having a hard time being Miley’s little sister,’ she told People while discussing the song after its release.

‘I always felt like I was that person that no one gave a s**t about due to what people said to me online.

‘That’s what everybody always said to me – that no matter what, I was going to be in that shadow. It was absolutely unbearable.

‘That was something I heard my whole life, every single day, my whole life. It was either that or that I wasn’t enough in some way, whether it was the way I look or the way I am.

‘I feel like I don’t even breathe right sometimes. It’s been really tough on me.’

Noah’s single was released the same year their parents separated. 

Us Weekly’s insider noted that Noah has ‘always been close with Billy Ray’ which ultimately ’caused a rift between her and Miley’, who was closer with Tish. 

When Tish remarried, Miley offered up her Malibu mansion for the ceremony and is said to have shelled out on security to turn away Noah if she attempted to come in. 

Three years later, Noah publicly hit out at Miley after watching an old interview on TikTok. 

Miley appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast in 2020 to promote her seventh album Plastic Hearts at the time, and was asked what it must have been like for Noah growing up in her older sister’s spotlight.

Miley claimed: ‘You can go one way or the other, right? You can either become my little sister who kind of wants it. And you know she’s got a record out called The End Of Everything that I love. 

‘It’s the most depressing ep you’ll ever listen too, she’s 20-years-old. She’s emo, she’s like an emo kid.

‘She has a song where she says “my sister’s like sunshine and it’ll follow her where ever she goes, but I’m more like a raincloud, you know she’s really got this idea of me.” I worry about her. ‘

After the video of Miley’s interview resurfaced on Noah’s social media, Noah furiously hit out at her older sister by commenting: ‘The disrespect in this video…’

Miley once again addressed her difficult family dynamics in a 2021 interview with British Vogue, explaining: ‘I have a very intimate and close relationship with my family, but like all families, we’re also complex.

‘We embrace the fact that each of us are so different from one another. Me and my siblings, we’re a lot alike, but we also have big differences.’

She insisted at the time, however, ‘We accept that and don’t judge each other, and our family makes unconditional love a priority.’

Miley vs Billy Ray 

While Noah has been supporting her father, Miley has been at loggerheads with Billy Ray for years. 

The drama started more than a decade ago, with the pair first becoming estranged during the filming of their show Hannah Montana in 2010. 

‘The damn show destroyed my family,’ Billy Ray confessed at the time, admitting he was no longer on regular speaking terms with Miley – then 18 – and adding, ‘It’s all sad.’

He went on to confess: I’d take it back in a second. For my family to be here and just everybody to be OK, safe and sound and happy and normal would have been fantastic. Heck, yeah!’ 

He also admitted at the time that he was no longer on speaking terms with Miley.

Billy Ray vs Tish 

Tish and Billy Ray were married for three tumultuous decades before she filed for divorce in April 2022 citing ‘irreconcilable differences’. 

The pair first crossed paths at a club in Tennessee in 1991, while he was in the midst of trying to break into the music industry.

Billy Ray previously admitted to People that he was homeless and living out of his car at the time, adding, ‘It wasn’t pretty.’

As for Tish, she was a Utah State University graduate and a young single mother to two kids.

She had welcomed her daughter Brandi in 1986 and her son Trace in 1989 with her first husband, Baxter Neal Helson.

Both she and Billy Ray had recently gone through divorces when they met – Billy Ray split from his aspiring musician wife Cindy Smith in 1991, and Tish left her drummer husband that same year. 

They married 1993 and had ups and downs throughout the relationship, with Billy Ray first filing for divorce 2010.

At the time, they said in a joint statement, ‘As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family.

‘We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers.’

Soon after, rumors erupted that the reason they had split was because Tish had been involved in a whirlwind affair with Poison singer Bret Michaels, who had teamed up with Miley to release a song together that same year.

‘It was a professional relationship that turned into something more,’ a source told Us Weekly at the time. ‘Billy Ray was completely unaware of what was going on.’

Bret was quick to deny the allegations, however, stating on Fox & Friends, ‘The answer is no,’ when asked if he had been involved with Tish.

‘I’ve been friends with her family forever,’ he continued. ‘It started out with me and Miley simply working on a song together.

‘Her mom, Tish, likes Every Rose Has Its Thorn, and the first concert Miley ever saw was Poison so they wanted to remake it for the new record.’

The couple then reconciled before Tish filed for divorce in 2013 – before that was also dropped.

While things initially seemed amicable between the pair, tensions soon began to show when Tish opened up about the breakdown of their marriage. 

She revealed: ‘I will never put up with disrespect. I didn’t even know until I had a new relationship that there was so much respect, how much disrespect there was in my marriage before, on both our parts.’

Tish also revealed she had a ‘complete psychological breakdown’ in the wake of her split from Billy Ray.

‘It was so crazy, my two biggest fears in life were being alone and my mom passing away. And I had one month of a complete psychological breakdown,’ she recalled.

‘It was the worst thing, it was not good… Kind of pushed the mom thing under the rug, and then the divorce thing came.

‘I could not eat, I could not sleep, I could not stop crying. I don’t have my mom, and then I don’t have my husband that has been my husband for 30 years. Like I’m scared.’

In addition, Billy Ray spoke about his and Tish’s split to People in November 2022. He said, ‘Everyone knew that that relationship was over a long time ago.

‘Everybody’s turning the page. It’s been a lot, but everyone knew that it was time for a change.’

Dolly Parton the peacekeeper 

One star who has managed to keep the Cyrus clan on side is country music legend and longtime family friend Dolly Parton. 

Billy Ray struck up a friendship with Dolly in the Nineties and she has become close with the whole family, even serving as Miley’s godmother. 

An insider told Radar Online that Miley had been leaning on her godmother for support amid the feud, saying: ‘Miley knows she can count on her for anything, anytime, that she’s there for her no matter what.’ 

Another source claimed that Dolly was going above and beyond to heal the family rift, with  a source telling National Enquirer: ‘Billy Ray and Miley are like family to Dolly. She’s can’t stand that they’re not talking.’

There’s a new twist in Cyrus’ family drama. While fans recently focused on a possible rift between Miley and her father Billy Rayafter neglecting to thank him last month when accepting her first Grammys, a source says We weekly there is bad blood simmering between them Tish Cyrus and her youngest daughter Noah – and it all comes down to a fight over Tish’s new husband, Dominic Purcell.

Tish Cyrus ‘stole’ husband Dominic Purcell from her estranged daughter, Noah Cyrus, amid a family feud, an insider claims in a bomshell new Us Weekly report published on Tuesday. 

The producer, 56 – who suffered a ‘complete psychological breakdown’ before her divorce from Billy Ray Cyrus – notably tied the knot with the Prison Break actor, 54, last year in August 2023. 

However, while some family members such as daughter Miley were present for her wedding to the Australian actor, Noah, 24, and brother Braison were absent from the nuptials – fueling speculation of a rift at the time. 

An insider claimed to the outlet that, ‘Noah was [seeing] Dominic when Tish started pursuing him,’ which Tish ‘was aware’ of when she began to contact the star. 

‘The turmoil between Noah and Tish goes far beyond [what people think]. Noah is very distraught over Tish stealing Dominic from her.’ 

Earlier this month, Tish appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast and opened up about her relationship with Purcell, including their first date. 

She explained that he had initially reached out to her in 2016 on Instagram – which she missed. 

‘I had followed him on Instagram and he DMed me and just said, “Hey Tish, just wanted to [say], I think you’re super cool and…you’re doing such a great job with your family.”…I didn’t see it for a year.’ 

However, later in 2017, Tish’s daughter, Brandi, noticed that Purcell had blocked her account. 

‘His ex had seen he hit me up and blocked me from his Instagram. I almost peed my pants because I was like…Why am I blocked? He doesn’t even know I exist, and I’m blocked. We were laughing so hard.’ 

Years later in 2022, following her split from Billy Ray, Tish reached out to Purcell and he quickly responded back. The pair soon went on a date and the next day, told each other ‘I love you’.

The couple eventually said ‘I do’ in August 2023 – but both her daughter Noah and son Braison were not in attendance. The source told Us Weekly that the All Falls Down songstress actually hadn’t been invited. 

The wedding was held at Miley’s lavish Malibu mansion, and the insider claimed that the Grammy winner had guards outside in case Noah did attempt to show up. 

However, Noah kept busy on the big day by spending time with her brother, Braison. She took to Instagram to share moments from their day together, including an excursion to Walmart while sporting a Billy Ray Cyrus shirt. 

At the time, a separate source informed Us Weekly, ‘It’s no secret neither of them approves of Dominic, and that’s created tension with their mom.’ 

‘[Noah has] always been close with Billy Ray…It’s caused a rift between her and Miley,’ the insider continued. 

Tish and the Achy Breaky Heart singer married in 1993 until she filed for divorce in April 2022 citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ with their date of separation taking place two years earlier.

The pair had ups and downs throughout the relationship, with the singer filing for divorce 2010 – which was dropped. Tish also previously filed in 2013 – but that had also been dropped.

They share children: Miley, Noah, 24, Braison, 29, and also Brandi, 36, and Trace, 34. He adopted Brandi and Trace from Tish’s previous relationship and also shares son Christopher, 31, with his ex, Kristin Luckey.

The rumored family rift also extends to Miley – who notably left her father out of her Grammys acceptance speech earlier this month. The father daughter duo’s relationship reportedly became shaky following his split from Tish. 

An insider told Page Six shortly after the Grammys earlier this month that Billy has ‘tried reaching out to Miley many times’ and also ‘congratulated her’ on the Grammy wins. 

‘Miley and Billy Ray are on the outs,’ they told the outlet. ‘Miley’s very close with her mom and is standing by her.’ 

As for the rest of their six children, the insider said that all of ‘kids have chosen sides’ but ‘friends are hoping the rift doesn’t last forever.’

During a recent interview on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast, the star detailed the end of her marriage to longtime husband amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The whole process had sent her entire world into a tailspin as she detailed what an incredibly hard time it was for her.

In regards to the split and his relationship with his kids following the divorce, Billy Ray told People, ‘Everyone knew that that relationship was over a long time ago. Everybody’s turning the page. It’s been a lot, but everyone knew that it was time for a change.’ 

Billy has also since moved on following the divorce from Tish, and married Australian singer, Firerose, late last year in October during an ‘ethereal celebration of love.’ 

The ceremony was held two months after Tish and Dominic said ‘I do’ in August. 

In the caption of the joint post with his new wife, Billy sweetly penned, ’10/10/23 will always be the beautiful, joyous day that our two souls united as one in holy matrimony.’ 

Cyrus expressed, ‘It was the most perfect, ethereal celebration of love we could have ever imagined.’

The “July” singer is very outspoken when it comes to her personal life and has opened up in the past about how a relationship fueled her battle with substance abuse. She reflected on the dark time in her life during an interview with Billboard in May 2022, noting that matters were exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I was honestly so in love with this person, but we were both so wrapped up in substance abuse and also in the middle of a pandemic,” Cyrus said, adding that she was “lonely and bored” while staying behind closed doors. “Everyone’s anxiety and depression are all trapped in one house and there’s a lot going on for everyone.”

Mitchell called her departure “bittersweet.”

“I struggled with it for a long time and tried to talk myself out of it. But with the pandemic, everyone has faced so many challenges over the past few years, and for me it was just being away from my family,” she added at the time. “I have such a close relationship with my family and I spent most of my time in America feeling quite homesick.”

Mitchell eventually returned as a guest star for several episodes of Season 5. On the Tuesday, February 13 episode, Callie and Jamie had a pre-engagement celebration dinner with their respective parents.
