It happened during the changeover, when Kohli was in the thick of it. Kohli had his hand around Dhoni as both smiled and gave the fans what they were waiting for all these months. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were so protective of their children’s “privacy” that they refused to even name the godparents of their son, Prince Archie.

So it’s fascinating to discover that Archie and his sister, Princess Lilibet, have been the subject of a very glamorous photo shoot by one of Meghan’s favorite photographers.

I hear New York-based Jake Rosenberg flew to California earlier this month, where he took a series of photos of Meghan alone, cooking, and of her with the kids.

The photo shoot at Prince Harry and Meghan’s Montecito mansion coincided with the launch of Meghan’s lifestyle and cooking brand, American Riviera Orchard.

The venture was unveiled last week in a glitzy Instagram video, which showed Meghan busying herself in a rustic-looking kitchen. The video was posted a day after I contacted Meghan’s office for comment on her plans. American Riviera Orchard will focus on home, garden, food and lifestyle items.

Rosenberg, who is from Toronto, Canada, where Meghan spent six years while filming the television legal drama Suits, has photographed the duchess many times. On his website, he says that “his lens has captured the radiance of talent like Meghan Markle, Oprah Winfrey, Priyanka Chopra, Cindy Crawford, David Beckham and Michael B. Jordan, revealing their authentic personas through his vivid images.”

Very few photos of Archie, who turns five in May, and Lily, two, have been released by their parents. They did. however, appear in Netflix’s tasteless documentary series about the couple.

A friend of Meghan’s confirmed the photoshoot took place, but insisted they were “portraits for the family.” The friend tells me, “I wouldn’t associate that with the company.”

Rosenberg could not be reached for comment.

King’s goddaughter parties with her Argentinian boyfriend

Princess Maria Olympia of Greece and Denmark, the goddaughter of King Charles, surprised friends and family when she split from Peregrine Pearson, the son and heir of Viscount Cowdray, last year.

He has since entered into a new relationship with Game Of Thrones star Sophie Turner, who is currently in a divorce battle with American pop singer Joe Jonas.

Meanwhile, it seems Olympia, 27, has no shortage of male admirers.

At a party in London this week she was joined by Argentinian businessman Martin Pacanowski.

The couple was photographed together arm in arm on the red carpet.

“Martin and Olympia have known each other for a long time and get along very well,” a friend tells me.

She was the queen of the Brits and scooped a record six awards at this year’s ceremony, but pop star Raye clearly wants to keep her feet on the ground.

Figures from the performing arts company she uses to channel her income show that the 26-year-old singer enjoyed a relatively modest pay package of £50,000 last year.

Hello Rat Ltd accounts report that a dividend of £50,000 was paid to Raye, real name Rachel Keen, in the 12 months to the end of March last year. The company had assets of over £100,000.

Liz Truss has just reported to the MPs’ Register of Financial Interests that Biteback Publishing has received her an advance of £1,512 for her book Ten Years To Save The West, due out next month.

Regnery, the conservative publisher who is publishing her book in the US, is slightly more confident about the prospects and gives her an advance of £6,000.

King Charles has had a challenging first year as monarch, but he is determined to still celebrate the first anniversary of his coronation.

I hear his Gloucestershire retreat, Highgrove, is hosting a ‘red, white and blue ball’ next month.

An advertisement promises a ‘sophisticated evening of elegance, glamor and excitement’, including canapés followed by a candlelit dinner with a ‘luxurious three-course meal, expertly paired with Highgrove’s finest organic wines and live music all night long’.

Tickets cost a suitably princely £200 each.

Rose at 40 has lost none of her prime

Although its patroness, the Princess of Wales, was conspicuous by her absence, the National Portrait Gallery still attracted an impressive number of guests to the Portrait Gala on Tuesday evening.

The Marquess of Cholmondeley and his wife Rose were among the guests, including Princess Alexandra’s granddaughter, Flora Ogilvy.

Rose, who celebrated her milestone 40th birthday this weekend, hopes her friend Princess Catherine will be dancing again soon. Last summer I revealed that Catherine had attended her first ‘rave’ at the Houghton Festival on the Cholmondeleys’ estate in Norfolk.

The late Earl leaves £500,000 to Eton

His just-published will shows that Charles Cadogan, who succeeded to the earldom after his father’s death in 1997, left £6.5 million. That’s just a fraction of the family fortune, which, based on its ownership of 93 hectares of land in London’s Chelsea, is conservatively estimated at £5.5 billion.

Donald Trump sees no problem with it Princess Kate Middleton editing a Mother’s Day portrait of herself and her children.

“That shouldn’t be a problem because everyone is doctors. You look at these movie actors and you see a movie actor and you meet him, and you say, ‘Is that the same person in the picture?’” Trump, 77, said during an interview on Tuesday, March 19, with the British television channel GB News. “And I actually looked at that, and it was a very small doctor. I don’t understand why there is such an outcry about this.”

The former president continued: “It’s a tough time, you know, they really went after her.”

The controversy began earlier this month when multiple news outlets received notice to remove a photo of Kate, 42, posing with Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, because it appeared to have been ‘doctored’ by the source.

Kate then addressed the drama via X.

“Like many amateur photographers, I occasionally experiment with editing,” her March 11 statement began. “I wanted to apologize for any confusion the family photo we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone who celebrated had a happy Mother’s Day.”

The portrait remains on Kate and Prince William‘s official Instagram page, although Instagram has posted a warning message at the bottom of the photo.

“Altered/Photo Video,” the warning reads, adding that “independent fact-checkers say the photo or image has been edited in a way that could mislead people, but not because it was shown out of context.”

The botched editing sparked conspiracy theories about Kate’s health and whereabouts as she recovers from abdominal surgery. Kensington Palace announced in January that the Princess of Wales had undergone “planned” abdominal surgery and would not resume her public duties until after Easter. Kate was seen smiling during an outing with William, 41, on Sunday, March 17.

However, the sighting wasn’t enough to convince some people that all is well with Kate and William.

As a sequel to Princess Kate MiddletonFollowing the photo editing debacle, another portrait of the royal family has been called into question.

Getty Images released a statement on Monday, March 18, revealing that a photo shared via the official Prince and Princess of Wales Instagram account in April 2023 had been doctored. “Getty Images has reviewed the image in question and posted an editor’s note stating that the image has been digitally enhanced at the source,” an agency spokesperson said. The Telegraph.

The photo in question was on display Queen Elizabeth II surrounded by younger generations of the royal family. “Today would have been Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s 97th birthday,” read the caption of the April 2023 Instagram post. “This photo – which shows her with some of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren – was taken in Balmoral last summer .”

Kate, 42, was credited as photographer. Her three children with Prince William – Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5 – were among those seen in the photo with the late queen. (Prince Harry And Meghan Markle‘s two children were notably absent from the portrait.)

According to The Telegraph, there are “several inconsistencies” in the image, including part of Elizabeth’s skirt pattern not matching. The outlet revealed a total of six errors.

Getty’s statement added to the skepticism surrounding the royal family as Kate continues to recover from her abdominal surgery. Kensington Palace announced in January that Kate would remain out of the public eye until after Easter while she recovers from her “planned” surgery. Few details were given about the nature of her procedure.

Prior to her hospitalization, Kate was last seen in December 2023. Following the palace’s call for privacy, theories about Kate’s condition and her whereabouts began flooding social media. Reps for both Kate and William, 41, tried to calm the speculation.

“Kensington Palace made the timelines of the Princess’ recovery clear in January and we would only provide important updates,” a spokesperson for Kate noted in a Feb. 29 statement. “That leadership remains in place.”

In a separate statement, William’s rep added that his “focus is on work and not social media.”

Although Kate has not directly addressed her condition, she has been seen several times in blurry photos. She was first seen post-operatively sitting in the passenger seat of a car with her mother, Carole Middleton, on March 4 and was photographed a week later as William left Windsor Castle. Grainy footage of the couple walking through a local farmers market was published by TMZ on Monday, with onlookers claiming the princess looked ‘happy’ and ‘relaxed’.

A family photo uploaded earlier this month in honor of Mother’s Day added further drama when several international news agencies received notices to pull the image from publication. Kate later released a statement addressing allegations that the photo had been doctored.

Other standout features include a decadent dressing area with vanity mirrors fit for a movie star and a fashionable sitting area, furnished with velvety sofas and a statement accent chair.

The plump cushions, with delicate shades of soft pink, mauve and orange, help create a welcoming oasis where shoppers can plop down and rest in style, despite the proximity to the toilet.

Visitors can also admire the glossy black and white floor, the sprawling plants and even the bathroom ceiling, which is gilded with bee-like gold ornaments.

The architectural firm behind the design, Shanghai-based X+Living, said the bathroom has become so popular that tourists flock to the mall just to see it.

Brand director Cecilia Huang told MailOnline Travel: ‘Many people come to the mall specifically to visit the mall, take photos and share them on social media, making it a phenomenal tourist attraction.

‘The high level of discussion has also attracted the attention of some top brands, such as Jo Malone, Maison Margiela and Burberry.’

X+Living was initially commissioned to design ‘a simple sanitary upgrade’.

Cecilia said: ‘The client wanted to upgrade and renovate the space and configuration to match the luxury positioning of the Deji Plaza shopping centre.’

What followed, however, was the company’s more ambitious idea to create a “functional public space” that “combines art appreciation and leisure experience,” she explained.

Shoppers are welcomed into the facilities through a long corridor that divides into three separate areas, consisting of the “art experience hall,” the “rest room” and the “washroom,” Cecilia said.

“Furniture, sinks and other functional items are designed as art installations,” she added.

The green wallpaper and curved grilles, together with the greenery, create a ‘lively atmosphere with an insect-inspired structure’.

Natural wood veneer in the toilet area is designed to complement the champagne-gold ‘artistic grilles’ and the fountain’s spreading flowers, creating an ‘elegant and fresh’ style based on the concept of a ‘sanctuary garden’.

It’s no wonder the bathroom gets a lot of praise.

Business insider said the “chic washroom” is “like a whimsical garden straight out of a fairy tale” and a “restroom experience like no other.”

While Architectural summary said it ‘transports weary shoppers to a palatial sanctuary filled with plants’, with strip lighting around the ceiling also helping to create a ‘calming atmosphere’.

Functionality has not been forgotten: in addition to the regular bathroom sanitary facilities, there is also a nursing room, an accessible toilet and a parent-child room.
