Sydney Sweeney appeared alongside Kacey Musgrave in two hilarious Saturday Night Live promos on Thursday.

The gorgeous 26-year-old White Lotus star – who hosts the sketch show with Kacey as musical guest – joked in the first clip about not understanding why she has so many male friends.

‘Girl power!’ cast member Heidi Gardner exclaims to kick off the promo. ‘I love this group of three strong ladies. I bet there will be so many women coming to watch this weekend.”

Sydney replies, “Strangely enough, a lot of my fans are men,” while Kacey cheekily says, “Hmm, I wonder why.”

In the second short promo, Heidi shows her excitement about Leap Day by inquiring about the ladies’ wishes on the rare and special occasion.

After the pair agree that they both wish for a “great show,” Heidi reveals her wish.

The clips come after Sydney performed in a meet-cute satire for another SNL promo with cast member Michael Longfellow.

In the scene, the actress leisurely wanders through studio 8H with a book in hand and unexpectedly collides with Michael.

Her book slips from her hands, he takes it back and starts thinking about the title, Haruki Murakami’s Kafka on the Shore, accompanied by romantic music.

We get a glimpse into Michael’s inner thoughts as he works up the courage to invite the star, but the camera abruptly shifts to Sidney, who quickly walks out of the room.

Sydney’s SNL appearance comes after her Nobody But You co-star Glen Powell recently revealed they want to work on a new romantic comedy together following the success of their rom-com Everyone But You.

The actor, 35, revealed the pair are “trying to find the next thing” after Everyone But You surpassed $200 million worldwide.

Sydney says, “Strangely enough, a lot of my fans are men,” while Kacey cheekily says, “Hmm, I wonder why.”

In the second short promo, Heidi shows her excitement about Leap Day by inquiring about the ladies’ wishes on the rare and special occasion.

During a conversation with Variety at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Saturday night, Glen spoke about his co-star, saying she was someone he “really lives with.”

“Sydney is so easy to work with and so much fun,” he said. “We’re definitely trying to find the next thing.”

The Top Gun: Maverick star then asked filmmakers to contact them about potential films.

Addressing Hollywood executives, he said: ‘Please send us all the scripts you have. You know we’re here for it.’

In his interview, he said he admired Sydney and praised her reading skills over the scripts they had looked at so far.

Australia's youngest MP, Georgie Purcell, has responded in a news bulletin to Channel Nine's apology that an artificial intelligence image generator enlarged her breasts.

The 31-year-old Animal Justice Party MP condemned Nine on Tuesday for broadcasting a doctored photo of her during the Melbourne news bulletin on Monday night.

The photo expanded her breasts and turned her white dress into a crop top, revealing a toned midriff.

9News Melbourne director Hugh Nailon issued a groveling apology to Ms Purcell on Tuesday, saying “Photoshop's automation created an image that was not consistent with the original.”

On Wednesday, Ms Purcell told Nova 100's Ben, Liam & Belle that she has accepted the network's apology for the blunder, but has doubts about their explanation.

“Nine have claimed it was an accident, but whether it was intentional or not, I think it just raises a bigger issue about the impact it could have on negative body image, especially for young women,” she said .

Shortly after Nine apologized, a spokesperson for Photoshop manufacturer Adobe embarrassed the network by saying that using the AI features would have required a human to make the adjustments.

“Any changes to this image would require human intervention and approval,” the spokesperson said.

Ms Purcell was featured in the Nine News bulletin after criticizing Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan's decision not to ban duck shooting in the state.

In a message at X (formerly Tweet)the heavily tattooed politician shared the image from the segment alongside the original photo, which was taken last year.

'I had to go through a lot yesterday. But having my body and outfit photoshopped by a media outlet was not on my bingo card,” she wrote.

'Note the enlarged breasts and the outfit made more revealing. I can't imagine this happening to a male MP. What gives?'

Ms. Purcell noted that the photo couldn't show her real midriff for one obvious reason: her stomach was tattooed in 2020.

“Our graphics department found an online image of Georgie to use in our duck hunting story. As usual, the image has been resized to our specifications.

“During that process, Photoshop automation created an image that was inconsistent with the original.

'This did not meet the high editorial standards we have and for this we apologize unreservedly to Ms Purcell.'

Ms Purcell is the youngest woman in any Australian parliament and the second-youngest woman ever elected to the Legislative Council of Victoria.

She recently told Daily Mail Australia about the horrifying moment photos of her working as a stripper while studying law at university were leaked online.

When she was 19, she thought her future dreams of working in law or politics were over. She came across the photos posted on Facebook.

“I worked far away from where I studied and grew up so I wouldn't meet anyone I knew, and while I felt there was nothing wrong with that kind of work, I knew many others would feel differently,” said Mrs. Purcell.

'Then one day I was at the hairdresser's and when I logged into Facebook I saw that I had been tagged in a photo of me working as a stripper without my consent, and there were a lot of comments.

“I grew up in a small country town in Geelong, so everyone knows everyone and it spread very quickly and viciously.”

The 24-year-old opted for a red tank top, under which she went braless, paired with loose jeans.

She amped up the look with black and white flats and carried an army green tote bag with a neon design.

The singer appeared to have minimal makeup for her outing and wore her dark locks in a bob.

Gracie is the daughter of JJ Abrams, and his filmmaker father is best known for his work on the Star Wars franchise.

She previously revealed that her father likely influenced her to pursue a creative career.

'[Yes] I think it's inevitable that it will be,” Gracie told V Magazine, adding that music is her “true passion” and that she needs it to “stay sane.”

“But it's not like I told everyone I wanted to be a pop star when I grew up,” she added.

“I've always been a very shy person with a lot of anxiety, and I definitely never wanted to sing in front of anyone.”

Margot Robbie was joined by Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore at the star-studded Deadline Contenders event in Los Angeles this weekend.

Hollywood heavyweights came to the DGA Theater to spotlight 28 standout films from this year, with panels where cast and creatives could tell candid stories about the productions.

With the actor’s strike over, it looked like Tinseltown’s best and brightest were ready to present, with the three actresses leading the way.

Academy Award nominated Robbie, 33, was the first to hit the red carpet before leading a panel where she and director Greta Gerwig discussed her blockbuster Barbie.

She looked casually chic in a white floral print Oxford, tied at the waist, which she paired with chic denim and matching red accessories.

Strike over: Now that the actor’s strike had ended, it looked like Tinseltown’s best and brightest were ready to present, with the three actresses leading the way

“I definitely didn’t want to try to make a Barbie doll piece. I wanted us to focus on the scary things as much as we celebrate the wonderful things,” Robbie said during a panel. ‘That’s exactly why I went after Greta [Gerwig]because I thought, ‘That’s what she would do.'”

Robbie acquired the rights to the legendary doll through her production company LuckyChap, before approaching Gerwig and her collaborator Noah Baumbach to write the script.

The pair then took Barbie and made the biggest opening of 2023, the biggest opening by a female director and the highest opening for the film’s stars Robbie and Ryan Gosling.

The film is the highest-grossing film in Warner Bros. history, as well as the highest-grossing film ever directed by a woman.

“She literally changed the game,” Robbie said of Gerwig. “It’s different from now on because of what she did. It’s huge.

“And someone will come up with another original idea that will require a big budget, and there will be a female lead, and they will point to Barbie and say, ‘But that made money.’ , “Oh yeah, we’re going to have to greenlight this. And that’s great.”

However, Gerwig downplayed her part in Barbie’s success, attributing it to a team effort.

“There’s no way we could have stood on stage and done what we had to do if those women hadn’t done it,” she explained. ‘So don’t feel alone in this place. I feel like there are a lot of them that have come before and will come after.”

Rita Ora was spotted looking glamorous in a breathtaking lime green dress in a new promo for The Voice Australia.

The I Will Never Let You Down hitmaker, 32, looked cheerful in the semi-sheer halter-style designer dress that stole the show during the nearly two-minute teaser.

The British star, who has become a beloved coach on the series, wore her curly blonde locks down and opted for a glossy make-up style.

The light-hearted promo saw Rita lightly sparring with co-stars Jessica Mauboy and Guy Sebastian.

At one point during the skit, Sebastian used a fluffy white dog to distract Mauboy, as part of a ploy to steal the singing talent from under his rival judge’s nose.
