The NRL is expected to launch an investigation on Friday evening following an ugly brawl between Roosters and Rabbitohs supporters at Allianz Stadium.

Trent Robinson’s men defeated their fierce rivals 48-6 – with tensions reaching boiling point with rival supporters at Sydney’s Moore Park.

With the Roosters comfortably in front late in the second half, a fight started in the members’ area of the revamped sports facility moments after South Sydney fullback Latrell Mitchell was sin-binned.

Footage of the incident shows several people involved in the brawl exchanging a barrage of punches – in full view of many terrified children.

Security initially struggled to intervene, before many of those involved eventually walked away.

One man wears one Rabbitoh’s sweater was seen with a bloody mouth.

It is expected that CCTV will be used in an attempt to identify those involved, with a ban on NRL matches and possible court dates.

On the field, the Rabbitohs slumped to their third successive defeat, with coach Jason Demetriou now facing an uncertain future under pressure.

“It’s disappointing, it hurts, it’s probably the lowest point of my career right now, but I know how we’ll get out of it. We will fight and fight together,” he said at the post-match press conference.

“I have a lot of confidence in this group and I know they will come out.

‘The only way to relax [the noise] is to get laser focused and get our season going again.

“It’s just a matter of just getting that first win. We need to be more resilient.”

Demetriou’s decision to drop halfback Lachlan Ilias earlier this week raised many eyebrows, as did benching hooker Damien Cook.

Star recruit Jack Wton was also seen holding a knee late in the game in what was a night to forget for the Bunnies.

Heather Bovill of the ONS said clothing growth was “recovering after recent declines as people invested in new season collections”.

Much of the spending was done online, with a 2.1 percent increase in internet spending in February.

Princess Kate Middleton could face legal action after her personal medical records were involved in a security breach at The London Clinic.

“Kate can always file a civil lawsuit for invasion of privacy,” says attorney and legal expert Neama Rahmaniwho is not involved in the case, exclusively told We weekly on Wednesday, March 20. “If she wants to go after the perpetrator to say her privacy rights were violated, she can absolutely do that.”

The London Clinic launched an investigation into its employees after members of the hospital allegedly tried to access Kate’s personal medical records following her abdominal surgery in January. Daily email reported on Tuesday, March 19. The outlet noted that the investigation began after an employee tried to access the princess’s file without permission.

Rahmani said it should be “easy to catch” given the nature of the breach.

“It’s pretty clear now when you visit a file or a site who’s doing it,” he said. “It’s really just a question of: did the perpetrator act normally? attempt to access the data or could he or she actually see it? In that case that would be a very serious violation.”

Rahmani noted that if caught, the consequences for the perpetrator could range from “a criminal investigation and prosecution” to an professional penalty.

“Obviously a doctor, a nurse or a medical professional is licensed, and there is an agency that regulates them. So there could be an administrative sanction,” he said. “They could be suspended or even lose their license completely. “

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s supporter Christopher Bouzy has doubled down on a bizarre conspiracy theory about the Princess of Wales, claiming that she hasn’t been seen in public since Christmas Day.

The Tech CEO, 48, from New York, who appeared in the Sussexes’ Netflix documentary, took to X, formerly Twitter, to share his doubts about the recent sighting of Kate Middleton and Prince William shopping at a farm shop in Windsor.

‘Serious question: Has any reporter taken the time to go to Windsor Farm and ask the staff if William and Kate were there over the weekend? Besides the man who was paid for the video, has anyone else gone on the record about seeing William and Kate at the farm?,’ he wrote.

He added in a second tweet: ‘So, let me see if I understand this correctly. Kate’s video is one of the biggest stories of 2024, and not a single person who works at the farm/store has gone on the record about seeing William and Kate? So, just some random guy is the primary source of the story? Sounds legit.’

Earlier this week, he shared a compilation of clips of the royal couple walking to compare it to their recent sighting at the Windsor Farm Shop on Saturday.

He claims the clips show that the video of two people walking in Windsor isn’t the royal couple, joining a chorus of outlandish conspiracy theorists online.

‘I’ve compiled a few older videos of William and Kate walking together, as well as the recent video from Windsor Farm. Take a look and decide for yourself if it’s Kate or not. In my opinion, we still haven’t seen Kate in public,’ he wrote on X.

Many people breathed a sigh of relief when they saw ‘happy, relaxed and healthy’ Kate smiling as she briskly walked away from the store holding onto a full shopping bag on Saturday.

But others on social media have continued to push crazed claims – including that the woman in the video was not the royal but in fact a body double.

Mr Bouzy appeared in Harry and Meghan’s Netflix doc after his company BotSentinel issued a report saying the couple was on the receiving end of millions of trolls.

But Mr Bouzy, who previously tweeted that he thought that the Prince and Princess of Wales were ageing in ‘banana years’, has been accused of being a troll himself over a series of nasty posts.

In April 2023, he said the portrait released to mark what would have been Queen Elizabeth’s 97th birthday was photoshopped.

The image, which shows the late monarch posing with eight of her 12 great-grandchildren and two of her grandchidren at Balmoral, was taken just weeks before her death by the Princess of Wales.

This week, global picture agency Getty Images said the heartwarming image was ‘digitally enhanced at source’ having undertaken a review following the recent fallout from the Princess of Wales editing a Mother’s Day photo of herself with her three children.

He described the photograph as ‘beautiful’ on X.

Calling on people to ‘stop criticising’ snap, he added: ‘Yes, they Photoshopped it, and so what? It isn’t easy to get the perfect photo with 10 children. It appears they took multiple shots and then edited the photo to make it perfect. I would’ve done the same.’

In a later tweet about the snap, which was shared on the official social media accounts of The Prince and Princess of Wales, he wrote: ‘You can literally see where two sides of the sofa were spliced together, and there are pixels on the face that were not properly edited.

‘As I stated in my original tweet, I don’t see anything wrong with it. But to claim it’s not Photoshopped is false. It’s been edited.’

He also added: ‘Also, the Queen was probably exhausted and didn’t want to sit through a long photoshoot.’

The late monarch appeared in her element with Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor, James, Earl of Wessex, Lena Tindall, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Isla Phillips, Prince Louis, Mia Tindall, Lucas Tindall and Savannah Phillips.

Mr Bouzy’s claims come as the shopper who filmed the royal’s first public appearance since undergoing abdominal surgery has slammed cruel conspiracy theory trolls as ‘delusional’.

Nelson Silva, 40, said he saw the Princess of Wales ‘with his own eyes’ on Saturday as she popped down to her local farm shop.

BBC sports reporter Sonja McLaughlan appeared to be amongst those fuelling the bizarre suggestion when she told her followers on X that it was ‘obviously not Kate’ in the clip. In a now deleted tweet, she even suggested the heir to the throne could have been replaced by an actor.

Speaking for the first time since he encountered the Princess of Wales in the meat section of the farm shop, Mr Silva told the Sun: ‘I’m not so much shocked that these comments have continued, I’m just confused how exactly they can continue.

‘This is a video clearly showing her and William. I saw them with my own eyes. It was a completely relaxed situation.

‘What more do you need to lay off her? I thought after this was released they’d go quiet. But these people are so invested in the drama now.’

The father, who ran into the royals around lunchtime on Saturday at the Windsor Farm Shop, believed releasing the footage would put an abrupt end to the wild rumours surrounding Kate’s health but fears it did the opposite.

After the clip emerged people suggested Kate was too tall in the video for it to be her, while another crazy theory claimed the footage had been recorded in December because ‘Christmas decorations’ were in the background.

In under 24 hours the rumours about body doubles gained more than 12 millions views on X and more than 11 million on TikTok.

The Windsor local said he was ‘shocked’ and ‘confused’ as to why the conspiracy theories have continued. He said he saw the future King and Queen with his own eyes and ‘it was a completely relaxed situation’.

‘Even famous people are guilty,’ Mr Silva added. ‘People with a large platform online — they can’t admit they are wrong now because they look so delusional.’

He called for those pushing claims online to ‘lay off’ the Princess and stop plugging their baseless ‘rumours and lies’.

The father, who lives in the town with his wife and daughter, had recorded the couple to send back to his family Portugal.

He first saw Will and Kate inside the store, where they had been ‘talking to staff and laughing’, before watching them walk back into some fields to head towards their home Adelaide Cottage.

Kate’s weekend appearance marked the first time she had been seen out and about in public since undergoing planned abdominal surgery in January.

Kate Middleton lookalike Heidi Agan (pictured) has shut down the ‘crazy’ conspiracy theory that it is her in a farm shop video of the Prince and Princess of Wales

Despite Kensington Palace setting out a clear timeline for the Princess’ recovery – with her return to the public spotlight expected after the Easter Holidays conclude – online trolls have sparked bizarre theories.

Baseless and hurtful conspiracy theories being spread about her online included that she is dead, has been replaced by a body double or the Wales’ marriage is in trouble.

One royal source told the Telegraph: ‘Finally everyone can calm down’.

Yet BBC freelance reporter Ms McLaughlan came under fire for appearing to fan the flames of conspiracy theorists.

Ms McLaughlan wrote: ‘Disturbing that newspapers like The Times are reporting this as fact. Headline ‘Kate seen in public for the first time’ when it’s clearly not her. As someone has said. Could be a couple of lookalikes making mischief.’

Commenting on a video which compared the Princess in the footage to other past photos of herself, she added: ‘It’s so obviously not Kate. Some newspaper are reporting it as fact. But it’s not her. No conspiracy theorist but all very odd.’

The BBC declined to comment on the matter.

The body double claims led Britain’s ‘most realistic’ Kate Middleton lookalike to shut down the ‘crazy’ conspiracy theories that it is her in the farm shop video instead of the real Princess of Wales.

Heidi Agan, 43, who has made an income from impersonating the royal for more than a decade, said she ‘100 per cent’ believes it is Kate and William in the footage.

‘There has obviously been some speculation about whether it was Kate and William in that footage and stills,’ she told The Mirror.

‘In fact, my own social media has gone crazy as people think it is me, but I know it is not. I was at work at the time so I know that is not me. I 100 per cent believe that it is Kate Middleton and William in that video.’

‘So she is alive, and we can be sure about it. It has all gone too far now,’ she added.

Australians are fleeing Sydney in droves as overseas immigration hits a new record.

A record number of 548,800 migrants moved to Australia in the year to September, with the population growth rate of 2.5 percent the highest since the early 1950s – even as the birth rate plummeted.

Sydney, already one of the most unaffordable housing markets in the world, is so expensive that many residents are moving abroad in search of cheaper housing as foreign migrants pour in.

In one year, 33,202 New South Wales residents moved to another state, while 186,433 overseas migrants took up residence.

But when the interstate exodus was taken into account, NSW still needed to accommodate 153,231 new residents before accounting for 32,893 new births.

The large outflow saw NSW experience below-average population growth of 2.3 per cent, lagging behind Western Australia, Queensland and Victoria.

Meanwhile, Tasmania was the only state to record a zero natural rate of increase, based on births minus deaths.

The island nation saw 3,079 residents move interstate while 4,400 overseas migrants moved in – a very small net increase of just 1,321 new residents or a minuscule population increase of 0.3 percent.

Australians are fleeing Sydney in droves as overseas immigration reaches a record high

Sydney’s median house price of $1.396 million is significantly higher than Brisbane’s $899,474 level, based on data from CoreLogic.

Population growth rankings

1. WESTERN AUSTRALIA: 3.3 percent

2. QUEEN COUNTRY: 2.9 percent

3. VICTORIA: 2.7 percent

4. NEW SOUTH WALES: 2.3 percent

5. AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL REGION: 2.1 percent

6. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: 1.7 percent

7. NORTHERN TERRITORY: 0.7 percent

8. TASMANIA: 0.3 percent

Queensland had the largest migration inflow among states at 32,625 as 87,954 overseas migrants moved in – a net increase of 120,579 new residents before taking into account 23,010 net births.

Queensland’s population growth rate of 2.7 percent was slightly above the national average of 2.5 percent.

Victoria had 161,758 new overseas migrants, but only 1,119 left for the interstate, while Melbourne still has suburbs with an average house price of less than $600,000.

While Melbourne is cold in winter, Victoria is still expanding with a population growth rate of 2.7 percent – the third highest in Australia.

Mining-rich Western Australia had the second highest interstate migration inflow at 11,233, while 67,629 migrants entered.

WA had Australia’s highest population growth rate: 3.3 percent.

South Australia had 1,007 residents move interstate, while 28,587 overseas migrants moved in – for a population growth of 1.7 per cent.

On a per capita basis, the Northern Territory had the largest interstate exodus, at 3,606, while only 3,189 overseas migrants entered, making it the only state or territory where interstate outflows exceeded overseas inflows.

The NT population grew by only 0.7 percent.

The Australian Capital Territory, which covers Canberra, had 1,845 residents moving interstate, while 8,792 overseas migrants moved there – giving it a below-average population growth rate of 2.1 percent.

Australia is now home to 26.8 million people.

Immigration was responsible for 83.2 per cent of Australia’s population growth in the year to September, with 548,800 new migrants and 111,100 new births – a natural increase of 3.9 per cent on the previous year.

Shortly before the Australian Bureau of Statistics data was released, One Nation leader Pauline Hanson called for a vote on immigration policy.

“Australians have never been allowed to vote on immigration and multiculturalism,” she told the Senate.

‘When have we been asked or consulted about our population?

‘Governments have consistently introduced high levels of immigration, they say, to stimulate the economy – this is nonsense.’

While the Australian economy continues to grow, there has been a per capita recession since the June 2023 quarter, with output per worker in decline.

Conrad Sewell has dished on his exciting wedding plans and revealed why he chose to become an independent artist.

The Australian singer, 35, has given insight into his exciting future plans with his fiancée Jasmine Hingston as they prepare to tie the knot.

Conrad appeared on Brisbane’s B105 Breakfast show Stav, Abby & Matt and revealed he is moving to the US for two years with Jasmine and their two children.

With his move just weeks away, he revealed that they are stopping along the way to Hawaii to scout locations for their wedding, although they haven’t set a date yet.

“We’re leaving for America on April 18 and flying on to Hawaii to see a few locations,” he told the hosts.

Conrad also spoke to the breakfast team about his struggles in the music industry and how his career has changed since becoming an independent artist.

“We don’t make money for music… you go into a record deal knowing you’re not going to make any money on that side,” he said.

The artist has signed contracts with record labels such as Universal, Warner and Sony throughout his career.

But after his last album with Sony, Conrad decided to take his career in a new direction and become an independent artist.

“This feels fresh and new to me, I just took back the power, I want to release music right away,” he said of the big change.

The federal debt as a share of the U.S. economy is poised to hit a record in 2029 and will continue to rise over the next three decades, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office said Wednesday in a report laying out the nation’s long-term budget problems . .

In its latest 30-year outlook, the budget agency warned that rising debt levels will pose “significant risks” to the U.S. economic outlook in coming years, raising interest payments to foreign bondholders and slowing economic growth. By 2054, the cost of interest payments on debt will double to 6.3 percent of gross domestic product, and spending on social safety net programs will account for more than half of the country’s remaining expenditures.

The report outlines the country’s long-term budget problems, at a time when the United States continues to borrow heavily to pay for increased federal spending, along with rising interest payments on its debt. The aging population is expected to put further pressure on government coffers as more Americans become eligible for Social Security and Medicare in the coming years.

Debt as a percentage of gross domestic product is expected to rise to a record high of 107 percent in 2029 and to 166 percent in 2054.

The budget office also upgraded its growth outlook for the next three decades, based largely on labor force growth due to increased immigration.

It can be difficult to predict the long-term outlook because geopolitical events and public health crises can lead to dramatic swings in spending and production. The CBO report assumes that the 2017 tax cuts, which are expected to expire in 2025, will disappear at that time, leading to savings for the government. However, it is highly likely that many of these tax changes will be extended and could worsen the federal deficit.

The CBO projected deficits were smaller than forecasts last June due to annual spending limits imposed by the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023. Lawmakers are working on a new $1 trillion spending bill that President Biden could soon sign into law addressing this satisfies. to those limits.

Budget watchdogs continue to warn that lawmakers are overlooking a looming crisis by not tackling the national debt more aggressively.

“This is yet another reminder that politicians are prioritizing political priorities over the long-term health of the country,” Maya MacGuineas, chair of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, said in a statement.. “There is no way to look at these eye-popping numbers and not realize that we need to make a change.”

Deficit reduction has proven to be a challenge for lawmakers of both parties, especially because of resistance to restructuring social safety net programs like Social Security and Medicare.

The White House budget last week called for tax hikes on corporations and the wealthy, which could cut the budget deficit by $3 trillion over the next decade. Former President Donald J. Trump had promised in 2016 to wipe out the national debt in eight years, but oversaw a bigger budget deficit while in office and promised more tax cuts if re-elected.

Megan Fox has finally set the record straight when it comes to her various plastic surgery procedures.

For years, the Transformers star, 37, has baffled fans with her ever-changing looks, but she has kept quiet amid the ongoing speculation.

In particular, her drastically different outlook at a Super Bowl afterparty last month led to a frenetic guessing game on social media about what she had recently done — with posters and even plastic surgeons thinking she was getting a nose job, cheek filler and a brow lift.

Now the mum-of-three has detailed the cosmetic procedures she’s had, including spending $30,000 on the ‘biggest breasts that could fit my body’. She also admitted to having a nose job in her early 20s, but denies having the procedure seven or eight times.

Megan went on to dismiss rumors about other procedures she’s had – insisting she’ll never have fat removed from her body because she’s so skinny – as she candidly discussed the work she wants done in the future .

Megan Fox has finally set the record straight about her various plastic surgery procedures, revealing when she went under the knife, what she hasn’t done yet, and her future plans

Ironically, despite admitting that she loves the results of surgery and wants people to think of her as a “circus freak,” she confessed that she has avoided many common procedures because she is terrified of anesthesia.

Speaking about the Call her daddy podcast, she revealed the work she had done to her face — filler and Botox but no facelift or threads — a non-surgical procedure designed to lift sagging skin and stimulate collagen production.

She explained: I’ve never had a facelift, no lateral brow lift Even though I would love one!

Not an ordinary eyebrow lift, I have never done threads before. That’s not because of any moral issue, I just don’t really believe they work and I’m also afraid they will interfere if I need a facelift.

‘I’m very tempted to get rid of my eyebrows completely [back]. I want that look. That seems nice and you can do it during a lunch break and I understand why it’s so tempting,’

She went on to dismiss rumors that she had buccal fat removed (cheek slimming), explaining: ‘I’ve never had that done, I will never have any fat removed.

“I’m a skinny person who doesn’t have enough body fat or fat in my face, so I’ll just put fat in there.”

“I will never remove fat, which leads me to never having liposuction or body contouring or anything like that.”

Now the mother of three has detailed the cosmetic procedures she has undergone, including spending $30,000 on the ‘biggest breasts that could fit my body’ (L 2012, R 2024)

Talking about her ample breasts and slim body, she said: ‘My boobs have been fake since I was 21 or 22. I had them done between the first and second Transformers. But I had them done conservatively.

‘Because then everyone did the work, but you had to do work that was undetectable.

‘I, always, that little girl standing in the mirror, always thought, “Where are my breasts?” I always wanted big breasts. So I wasn’t happy with the first set.

“I had them redone after I finished breastfeeding my kids because I don’t know where they went, but they went.”

‘Then I had to have them redone recently because with the first set I didn’t have enough body fat to hide – you could see the wavy thing from the implants.’

Megan continued: ‘I don’t like surgery – my body doesn’t respond well to general anesthesia – so if I have to have surgery it’s a really big deal.

‘Going under anesthesia is a risk to your life. So when I had to go in for this set, I thought, “Look, if you’re going to put me to sleep, if I’m going to be sick for two months from the general anesthetic… I better wake up with the biggest boobs you’ve ever seen.” can fit in my body.”

“And that’s what he said he did. And they’re not even that big. It’s a 32D which isn’t that big, they just look big on my body because my body is small.

‘But if he could have gotten bigger, I would have let them get bigger, because I don’t like operations, and because I had to do it, I thought, ‘I want a reward for the suffering I have to go through. I don’t want to wake up with a full B cup.” There’s no point, I won’t do it.

‘I wanted t*tties. I don’t care what’s trendy, give me stripper titties from 1990. And he did it.”

Megan said: 'I'm very tempted to get my eyebrows completely removed [back]. I want that look. That seems fun and you can do it during your lunch break' (photo 2007)

Users flocked to discuss her shocking transformation - with many theorizing that her new look was the result of surgery. She has been seen recently

Megan said: ‘I’m very tempted to get my eyebrows completely removed [back]. I want that look. That seems fun and you can do it during your lunch break’ (L 2007, R 2024)

Megan went on to reveal that she also wants a bigger butt but stops people when they look at her, but revealed that this isn’t possible at the moment because she is so slim.

When asked if she had had a Brazilian butt lift or implants, she said: ‘If I could, I would. I have no extra body fat. I’d have it done if I could.

‘That operation is so difficult to recover from. It’s basically like having to lie flat on your face for three months. You’re bruised for an eternity.

“If I ever did that, if I survived that operation, you would give me an a**e, that’s an anomaly.

“Like I’m walking through a park, and I’m going to turn around and everyone’s going to whisper and laugh and talk because they’re like, ‘What? What are we looking at?’ Like a circus freak.

“If I go through that healing process, that’s what I want. I don’t come out with, “Oh, has she actually been to the gym lately?”

‘It’s supposed to stop people. But I don’t have the body fat to do that. But if in the future you can take donated fat from people, I will do that.’

She explained why she had withdrawn from other work that people speculated she had done: “I am very afraid of dying under general anesthesia.

‘So I don’t take surgery lightly and because of that I haven’t had many. So it’s probably a saving grace that I have this paranoia, or this fear, otherwise God knows what I would have been up to.”

Recently, Megan was accused of being ‘xenophobic’ as she tried to defend her shocking new look, comparing herself to a ‘Ukrainian blow-up doll’ in a photo.

The Transformers star responded to critics by attributing the change in her image to a “shady” photo.

However, her rebuttal sparked controversy when she proudly claimed that she “really” looks like a “super expensive real silicone sex doll” from Japan.

“Oh my god, guys, look how different I look…at all,” she began her bizarre post. ‘It turned out to be just a shady cell phone photo of me looking like a Ukrainian blow-up doll. when in reality I look like one of those super expensive real silicone sex dolls that you can only get in Japan.”

Megan previously shared her thoughts on plastic surgery with Allure magazine in 2010, saying it was “amazing” that “we have the technology to do the things we do.”

‘I would encourage anyone to talk to a therapist first, to try to find out where this craving comes from, because it is often not related to your teeth, your nose or your chin – the surgery will not remove that uncertainty. you,” she said at the time.

“Then if you feel like, ‘This is something I want to do,’ then do it. It’s amazing that we have the technology to do the things we do.”

After her breakthrough role in Transformers, Megan admitted in a 2009 interview that she is seriously 'insecure' about the way she looks

Megan has also admitted that she is very ‘insecure’ about her appearance.

After her breakthrough in Transformers, she told Rolling Stone in 2009: ‘I’m really insecure about everything. I see what I look like, but there are things I like and things I don’t like.

‘My hair is fine. The color of my eyes is of course good. But I’m too short. Overall, I’m not super excited about the whole thing.

‘I never think I’m worth anything. I have a sick feeling that I am constantly being mocked. I have a lot of self-loathing.”

Store manager Jaime-Marie Madden initially thought the record might be worth a few hundred pounds so kept it off the shop floor.

But it was discovered to be a first pressing of the original masters of 1963’s Please Please Me, which bears the black Parlophone label with gold text.

It was processed by a dedicated online trading team and listed on eBay with a starting price of £1,499.99.

But bids caused the price to soar before it eventually sold for a whopping £4,211.89.

Mrs Madden said: “When I first saw the vinyl I thought it might only be worth a few hundred pounds.

“The record was in good condition, with only a few stains, but the cover was quite damaged and worn, with a cut on the bottom, some scuffs, stains, aging and stains.

‘It even had a name written on the back.

“Thankfully, at Cancer Research UK we are trained to spot donations that can raise more money for life-saving cancer research.

“So after taking a few pictures and Googling the record, I knew we had something special.”

Ms Madden said she was thrilled that her spot had raised such a huge amount for Cancer Research UK, a leading cancer charity committed to saving lives through research, influence and information.

I bought John Lennon’s tooth for £20,000 – now I’ve destroyed it for DNA to track down Beatles secret LOVE CHILDREN

She added: “I packed it securely and sent it to our online marketplace team who spent more time researching the value of the item and then listed it on our eBay marketplace.

“I kept an eye on it and couldn’t believe my eyes when it sold for £4.2k.

“We are always grateful to people who donate to charity and we always try to get the most out of donations.

“It’s great to see this money going to such an important cause.”

Mike Kuklenko, vinyl record specialist from Harper Field Auctioneers And Valuers, said: “What a great story! Please Please Me by The Beatles, in this format is an incredibly rare record, and a great spot from Jaime-Marie.

“I’ve seen a few stories like this in my time as a professional vinyl appraiser.

“People have shared their old collections, thinking it would make a few quid, and I have been lucky enough to be the one to surprise them with the fact that they have one or two gemstones worth hundreds or even thousands of pounds.

“In this case, it’s fantastic to see all this money going to life-saving cancer research. What a find!”

It comes after a guest on Antiques Roadshow was stunned to discover how much money his John Lennon memorabilia would fetch at auction.

Together with auctioneer Raj Bisram, he proudly displayed the house number of the Beatles legend’s childhood home.

The song was originally mounted on the gate of Lennon’s aunt Mimi at 251 Menlove Avenue in Liverpool.

Explaining how he got the license plate, he said: “When John Lennon’s family decided to sell their house in 1965, a couple bought it and lived there for a few months and then moved out.

“Then the next couple who bought it didn’t tell them it was John Lennon’s house, so they moved in.

“They were having breakfast one morning and there were five people in their front yard taking pictures – then they realized they were living in John Lennon’s house,” he added.

Raj asked if he’d ever thought about selling it, to which the man replied, “I’ve never thought about selling it, and honestly, I don’t think I ever would. I just enjoy to have it in the family.”

But Raj believed he might change his mind.

He said: ‘If that went to a specialist Beatles sale it would easily make £5,000 to £8,000 but it could double that, it could really double that.

“I think this is a great little piece of Beatles memorabilia.”

But contenders are vying for the right to challenge for the WBC title later.

Sanchez, who is 24-0 with 17 knockouts, recently stopped Junior Fa in seven rounds on Anthony Joshua’s undercard in December.

That same evening, Agit Kabayel defeated Arslanbek Makhmudov 24-0 and now the German has been ordered to a fight with Sánchez.

The winner will then line up to challenge the WBC champion.

Sánchez’s co-manager Mike Borao said Air sports: “For our part, we are trying 100 percent to fight Kabayel.

“Both fighters have had fantastic performances in Saudi Arabia so it is a natural fight to make with the added bonus of the eliminator being called by the WBC.

‘I know PBC [Premier Boxing Champions] would stage the fight in the US, but wherever it ends up being will be a good fight – this is likely the quickest route to a world title for both fighters.

“Kabayel looked fantastic against Makhmudov, but Frank wants to become world champion, so he is prepared to face a tough challenge in Kabayel.”

Fury, 35, was scheduled to fight Usyk, 37, on February 17 until a sparring cutback two weeks earlier caused the fight to be postponed.

The pair are still contracted for a two-fight series, meaning a rematch should happen immediately.

The undefeated champions therefore seem to be tied for a year, meaning that the contenders will have to wait a long time for a chance at the title.
