Kyle Sandilands sensationally stormed out of the KIIS FM studio on Thursday and did not return to finish The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

Co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, 49, was preparing to play an audio clip of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Joel Madden discussing how younger generations of men can better talk about their emotions when the outburst happened.

Kyle, 52, became irritated, branded the pair ‘weak’ and refused to listen to the audio.

Sandilands then angrily stormed out of the studio, declaring, “I’m tired of men crying, be a man,” he exclaimed.

Jackie replied, “I can’t believe you’re walking out about this and getting so worked up.”

“Just so you know, you kept crying [Australian] Idol last week, so what are you, you big sissy,” she shouted.

Kyle never returned and Jackie was forced to continue the segment with one of the show’s interns, Alfie.

It comes after the radio stars took their war with Nova to the next level before their show expands to Melbourne next month.

Earlier this month, Kyle and Jackie made a bold prediction about how their show will be received in Melbourne when it debuts next month.

The pair claimed that their breakfast program will attract a large audience all year round, becoming the highest-rated show in the city.

“A lot of freaks down there are going to love us. I don’t think it will happen right away, it will take a few surveys to realistically crack them,” Kyle told the Herald Sun.

“I don’t think it will be immediately, but it will be towards the end of the year [we will be number one].’

Jackie added that she was confident their show would ultimately beat Melbourne’s other top-rated radio programs.

“We’ll just do our thing and whether that’s a slow burn or an immediate impact, I’m confident this will ultimately be the number one show,” she said.

The Kyle and Jackie O Show will face stiff competition when it premieres in Melbourne on Monday, April 29, as Fox FM’s Fifi, Fev & Nick breakfast show recently topped the city’s radio ratings.

The Kyle and Jackie O Show is currently the most listened to radio program in Sydney, with a total of 851,000 listeners tuning in every weekday.

But Sandilands, 52, has revealed that the radio duo’s former employers, 2DayFM, have taken a bold move to have them return to the network.

“We were offered so much money by the old joint [to come back]the shock jock said on Thursday morning’s Kyle and Jackie O Show.

“We don’t want to go there, but they’re going to give us a lot of money,” he revealed the pair told each other during negotiations.

A return to 2DayFM would likely have meant the pair taking over the breakfast slot currently occupied by Hughesy, Ed and Erin’s show.

Sandilands first faced the paparazzi rumors in July last year when he returned to Sydney from his European honeymoon.

Sandilands hinted that he was open to a possible move if he received an attractive offer, asking Jackie: “What’s my motto?”

“Where there’s a cash register, there’s a way,” she replied.

Kyle confirmed she was right and joked that this was Jackie’s motto too.

However, the radio queen was quick to shoot Kyle down, saying she had a different outlook on life.

“I don’t live my life based on money alone, there are other things too,” she said.

The pair were previously employed by Southern Cross Austereo and had a hit show on 2Day FM.

According to the Australian Financial Statement, the duo’s old network, SCA, was “quite aggressive” in pursuing the pair before they re-signed with ARN.

‘This is like sports rights for radio. “It is very likely this will be the largest talent media deal ever,” a network insider said at the time.

ARN Media CEO and Managing Director Ciaran Davis told Daily Mail Australia: “We do not view contract negotiations as a one-off exercise.”

Last November, the Sydney-based radio duo signed a record-breaking ten-year, $200 million deal live on air, keeping them on air until 2034.

“Since Kyle and Jackie O joined us, we have worked very hard to ensure that they feel part of a larger network, and that everyone contributes to it.

The Kyle and Jackie O Show originally aired on 2Day FM from January 2005 to December 2013 and moved to current network KIIS FM in January 2014.

Kyle Sandilands has finally confirmed when The Kyle and Jackie O Show will launch in Melbourne.

The breakfast show announced its historic new radio deal in November, but that's about it has yet to grace Melbourne's airlines, despite 2024 kicking off in Sydney earlier this month.

On Tuesday's show, a caller asked when Kyle and co-host Jackie 'O' Henderson would finally launch in Melbourne, telling them: “We need some decent radio here.”

Kyle, who previously declined to confirm the launch date, replied: “Six weeks.”

It comes months after Sydney-based Kyle and Jackie O signed a contract a record-breaking $200 million, 10 years live on air deal, keeping them on air until 2034.

In November, an ARN spokesperson confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that the deal for the Sydney duo meant their work friends Jase Hawkins and Lauren Phillips were unemployed and their Melbourne breakfast show ended in December.

Lauren broke down in tears as she announced the news to her listeners, sobbing that she “didn't want to say goodbye to Melbourne.”

Jase and Lauren's show was successful for KIIS FM, attracting new listeners to the station and ranking third in the Melbourne market behind Fox FM's Fifi Fev & Nick and GOLD104.3's Christian O'Connell.

He plans to spend time teaching his one-year-old son Otto how to swim.

He spares no expense when it comes to celebrating his loved ones.

And this weekend, radio king Kyle Sandilands, 52, hosted a lavish 38th birthday party for his wife Tegan Kynaston.

The mother-of-one posted a gallery of photos and clips to Instagram capturing some of the highlights from her extravagant birthday party.

She enlisted destination wedding planner ‘Mrs Smith Weddings’ to recreate St. Tropez’s world-famous Tikki Beach club at a private Sydney home for the festivities.

One photo showed Kyle lighting the candles on Tegan’s large three-piece cake as he and her friends sang Happy Birthday to her.

Kyle ordered a three-tier cake decorated with cherries and the words “Tikki Beach 38” engraved on it.

Another showed Tegan cooking up a storm next to the luxury home’s pool with two of her friends.

The blonde beauty showed off her incredible figure in a Missoni mini dress paired with strappy wedges.

She wore her blonde locks in bouncy curls and accentuated her sparkling green eyes with a generous dose of mascara and eyeliner.

In August, Kyle also spent the money on his son Otto’s first birthday party.

Although the KIIS FM presenter joked that it would be a ‘watered down party’, it didn’t appear that any expense was spared for the $25,000 jungle-themed birthday party.

Kyle and his famous friends, Tegan, arrived at his Bellevue Hill mansion in their happy rags to celebrate baby Otto’s birthday.

The shock jock even got a party planner for the day, with 24 children and 38 adults all invited to celebrate the youngster.

After the birth of son Otto in August last year, Kyle tied the knot in a cost-cutting ceremony at the Swifts’ mansion in Darling Point, Sydney.

Kyle reportedly spent $1 million on the event which included Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and top showbiz figures there.
