- Target has Nintendo Switch 2 stock on the launch day
- You must arrive before the opening hours of the store
- There is a ticketing system in place
US Retail Giant Target has confirmed that it will be Nintendo Switch 2 Stock next week.
In a recent press release, Target described the launch of 5 June as “a huge deal for gamers” and confirmed that the store is online Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders Sold out in less than two hours when they went live on 24 April.
It also confirms that both the Nintendo Switch 2 and the Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World -Bundel will be available in goal shops on 5 June. This is on top of games, amiibo and other accessories.
The retailer has also outlined the process for buying a Nintendo Switch 2 on 5 June.
It proposes to come for the opening hours of the store. Once you are there, you must start with the “designated queue location” at the entrance. Staff members will distribute tickets that reserve your product for purchase at opening.
The tickets are offered until they are all claimed, or ten minutes before the store is opened – so don’t expect you to get a Nintendo Switch 2 if you rock later in the day.
To try to reduce part of the demand, there is a purchase limit of one Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle per customer.
If you can’t make it on the day, there are more stock available through the target website and app on 6 June.
