Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce jet to New York together for the weekend after pop star watched Kansas City Chiefs win amid shocking ‘contract split’
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have reportedly flown to New York City to make the most of the NFL star’s four-day weekend.
The pop star was in Kansas City on Thursday night to watch Kelce and the Chiefs defeat the Baltimore Ravens 27-20 in a thrilling first game of the NFL season.
Locker room footage shows Chiefs coach Andy Reid giving his stars until Tuesday off, meaning Kelce and Swift can fly to New York to celebrate together over the weekend.
The New York Post published photos showing the couple boarding a flight to the Big Apple on Friday.
Kelce was seen wearing a baseball cap, T-shirt and shorts, but his girlfriend used an umbrella to prevent photographers from capturing her face.

The couple have been spotted together in New York before. In October 2023, they made a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live before heading to dinner at the Waverley Inn.
The couple’s trip to the East Coast, where Swift owns a number of properties, comes after a night of celebration over the Chiefs’ victory.
After beating Baltimore by one touchdown in a rematch of last year’s AFC finals, the Chiefs reportedly threw a party at a gleaming rooftop bar just a 20-minute drive from Arrowhead Stadium.
According to Page Six, Kelce told his teammates that he was having a party at Prime Social and that the entire team was invited.
Swift, who left the stadium in a golf cart alongside Kelce, seemed to enjoy it. A Page Six insider even said, “Taylor was a little drunk.”
Kelce reportedly rented out the entire cocktail bar for the event, which was also attended by several Kansas City Chiefs players and their wives and girlfriends.
That included Swift and, according to sources at DailyMail.com, Brittany Mahomes.
Sources say there is no animosity between the two, despite rumors of a possible rift and the fact that the two are in separate suites for Thursday night’s match.

Mahomes and Swift have been photographed in the suite together several times, cheering on their partners.
On Thursday night, Swift sat next to her new best friend Chariah Gordon — fiancée of another Chiefs star in Mecole Hardman — with other members of the Kelce family filling the suite. In another suite, Mahomes looked on with her daughter Sterling Skye.
Swift and Mahomes were inseparable during games last season. The new year brought a noticeable change, with personal, extended handshakes and lots of support.
Swift has previously supported Trump’s rivals, but also accused him of “fanning the flames of white supremacy and racism,” “feigning moral superiority” and “threatening violence.”
Brittany, however, appears to be rooting for the Republican candidate. The former president thanked the WAG for her support on Truth Social earlier this week.
“I want to thank the wonderful Brittany Mahomes for her vigorous defense, and for making MAGA the largest and most powerful political movement in the history of our now failing country,” he said.
Brittany all but confirmed her support for Trump by recently liking posts on Instagram supporting the Republican Party.

The pregnant mother of two liked a comment from a follower: ‘TRUMP-VANCE 2024’.
She also liked another show of support after drawing anger by initially liking a Trump post about the November election.
“Good to see you’re not giving in,” was the comment she liked. “We’re all entitled to our own opinions and shouldn’t be forced into submission.”
Taylor previously accused Trump of “manipulating the American public” and treating the US “like an autocracy.”
In 2020, she endorsed Biden and Harris, writing, “The change we need most is electing a president who recognizes that people of color deserve to feel safe and represented, that women deserve the right to choose what happens to their bodies, and that the LGBTQIA+ community deserves recognition and inclusion.”
She also spoke out against the GOP in her 2019 documentary Miss Americana, while the song Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince is a protest song about Trump.
