Thailand Has introduced a new rule for foreign tourists to follow travelers.
According to the new rules, which came into place on 1 May, tourists must complete a digital arrival card online before they arrive in Thailand.
The FCDO has updated his advice to warn British tourists that they have to complete the card.
It says: ‘From May 1, 2025, all aliens who enter Thailand must complete a digital arrival card online by the air, land or sea before arrival.
“Travelers can register for an arrival card within three days before they arrive.”
The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) has replaced the paper arrival cards that were previously filled in by travelers.
Tourists must provide their personal information about the TDAC, as well as details about their duration of stay and accommodation.
The change is because tourism is expected to rise in Thailand after it can be seen in the latest series of HBO’s White Lotus.
