Thanks to Asda bargains we created a garden play area for our children for just £11

It can be hard to know how to keep kids entertained all summer long, but one mum shared how she created a playground in her garden on a budget.

The woman told how she had managed to get hold of around £11 worth of toys for their outdoor space.

To the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK she posted pictures of her bargain finds.

First of all, the mother bought a sand and water table for just £5.

The water toy comes with a table in parts, a bucket, a watering can, an accessory for watering flowers, two tools and five sand molds.

It certainly seems like it could give parents a few hours of peace and quiet.

If you have competitive children, the second item might be for you.

The mother said she bought a swing ball set for £6.25, which is suitable for children aged four and over.

While you sit back with a cup of tea, your children can take part in a competitive tournament that will keep them entertained.

The mother added that she found numerous garden toys Asda on offer, including bubbles for just 31p, if you’re watching the pennies.

She showed her receipt as proof, and many parents seemed more than happy to use the garden toys.

One of them said, “We need a new swing ball.”

But who says kids can only have fun?

We recently shared how Asda customers are flocking to grab a summer BBQ which is now on sale for just £14, down from the original price of £55.

The incredible item can make organizing garden barbecues easier and even provide a breath of fresh air new look at your home.

The must-have, pared-down BBQ promises a “contemporary design,” according to the supermarket giant’s website.

The BBQ promises to be an “ideal introduction” to “gas grilling”, but also claims it can be useful for gardens where “space and storage” are at a premium.

Originally retailing for £55, the supermarket chain has reportedly now dropped the price to a remarkable £14.

The charcoal barbecue grill has a porcelain to cook surface area and a capacity of twenty citizens, making it an absolute bargain for anyone.

Asda has also cut the price of its Uniflame 2-burner gas barbecue, which is described as easy to clean and ideal for beginners to gas grilling.
