The Lowe bag is made of genuine leather, while the H&M bag is made of polyester, and the designer items are also functions the brand name in letters on the front and a leather grip on the handle.

“I tested supermarket jeans and my favorite is a Levi’s dupe”
Jeans are an essential item of clothing for everyone, but can the supermarket brands compare to the iconic Levi’s?
Fabulous deputy fashion editor Abby McHale tested and compared four styles. Here’s her verdict…
“As a teenager I wore Topshop’s Joni skinny jeans and bought my first pair of Levi’s in my early twenties.
But now, nearly 30, there’s nothing I love more than a pair of supermarket jeans. They’re a bargain and really comfortable. They also last a long time, unlike my £100 Levi’s (so much for the fact that they last forever).
I am a fan of the jeans from the supermarket, but how good are they compared to the jeans in more expensive stores?
Here I compare a range of styles, from skinny and straight to cargo and wide leg, and give my verdict and ratings.
- Bleached flared trousers, F&F at Tesco, £22.50 – 5/5
- Skinny, George at Asda, £17 – 3/5
- Freight, M&S, £45 – 4/5
- Straight Leg, Tue at Sainsbury’s, £20 – 4/5
I knew there was a reason I loved supermarket jeans so much and I don’t think this comparison test changed that much. And with some styles it’s really hard to tell the difference.
The Sainsbury’s Straight Leg jeans are a knock-off of Levi’s, but cost £20 instead of £100!”
“I’ve been looking for a Nice slouchy burgundy bag and this is ideal.
“The strap was shorter than I expected, but it’s actually quite practical.”
A fifth added: “Beautiful colour, I love the bag, it sits securely on your shoulder and there is plenty of room for stuff.”
