The best and worst dressed at the 2024 Logie Awards: Daring celebrities storm the red carpet in risqué mesh, soaring splits and barely-there bodycon for TV’s night of nights
Australian television royalty has stormed the red carpet in Sydney for the 64th TV Week Logie Awards – and they did not disappoint.
The 2024 Logies, which kicked off on Sunday at The Star in Pyrmont, saw the nation’s most beloved celebrities out in full force for what is perhaps the most racy red carpet we’ve seen in recent years.
And while many dazzled in gorgeous gowns, eye-popping sparkles and demure diamonds, others – including Kate Ritchie, Skye Wheatley, Emily Weir and Melissa King – had eyes on them for all the wrong reasons.
Despite a strict ‘black tie’ dress code, stars didn’t hold back from showing off their figures in a bold display of gemstones, thigh-high splits, cut-out corsets, leather, lace and plunging necklines.
Here, FEMAIL spotlights the most noteworthy looks from the annual event.
BEST DRESSED
We’ve called it. This year’s ‘best dressed’, unsurprisingly, is the dazzling Sonia Kruger who was the epitome of perfection in a remarkable floor-length gold gown.
Following closely behind was Home and Away’s Ada Nicodemou who looked stunning in a black custom made Mariam Seddiq off-the-shoulder gown, with vintage Dior earrings, a YSL cuff, a Cult Gaia clutch and Valentino heels.

WORST DRESSED
Celebrities turned their backs on the ‘stuffy’ black tie dress code this year, with some amping up the sex-factor with crotch-level splits, nude-look pieces, mesh, plunging necklines and bottom-exposing designs.

Home and Away star Emily Weir turned heads for all the wrong reasons with a cheeky outfit that exposed her bottom. The frock itself, by Aston Bridal, featured pink tassels and a backless design.
