During Apple’s September event this year, the tech giant unveiled the Apple Watch Series 10, which will ship on Friday, September 20. The Apple Watch 10 will cost $399 / £399 for the 42mm model and $429 / £429 for the larger 46mm display, which is the same starting price as the Apple Watch 9.
This means there will be more frequent deals on older Apple Watch models, including the Apple Watch 9 and Ultra 2, which were released last year, and the budget version of the Apple Watch SE, which was released in 2022.

The 45mm model starts at $429 / £449 / AU$679, while the cellular model costs $529 / £549 / AU$779. Thanks to the recent release of the Apple Watch 9, it’s easy to find Apple Watch deals on the Series 8, so don’t expect to pay full retail price.
The Apple Watch 8 adds health features like a temperature sensor, ECG, and sleep tracking, plus safety features like crash and fall detection. You still get all the great features of the Series 7 smartwatch, including the always-on display, activity tracking, an ECG app, and impressive all-day battery life.
The Apple Watch 7 was unveiled in 2021, featuring a 70% brighter Always-On display, faster charging, and 20% more screen area, making it easier to use and read. The Apple Watch SE was released in 2020 alongside the Series 6 as a more affordable alternative, starting at $279 / £269.
Headline features include the latest watchOS 7, which brings many of the new upgrades found in the more expensive Series 6 to the device, but at a more affordable price. Internally, you also get the same altimeter, gyroscope and accelerometer as the Series 6 – enough for all the major fitness apps, but you miss out on the brand new blood oxygen monitor.
Overall, this watch is certainly a lot more basic than the more expensive Series 6, but when you consider you’re getting roughly the same performance as the Series 5 but for a lower price and running the new watchOS 7, this is an excellent buy and one of our favorite Apple Watch deals.
