Mariska Hargitay Unveiled a family secret of the Bombshell that she has been hidden for more than 30 years in her new documentary about her iconic deceased mother Jayne Mansfield.
Hargitay’s documentary, My Mom Jayne, who marks her directing debut for feature films, premiered on the Cannes Film Festival last month.
In the film, the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star that her biological father is not Mickey Hargitay, the man who raised her.
The paternity bomb has revealed that former Las Vegas Entertainer Nelson Sardelli is her father and he was seen for the first time because it was made public.
Sardelli, 90, was photographed by leaving a beige minibus and walking with a stick to a white iron fence in front of a house.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Hargitay said she was going to perform to Sardelli in Atlantic City, New Jersey When she was 30 years old and introduced herself to him as his daughter.

She told the outlet that he had been moved to tears when he told her: “I have been waiting for 30 years at the moment.”

They never discussed it again, but she remembered how she continued to question her origin and wondering if she was really Hungarian like her father Mickey – who died at the age of 80 – and her brothers, Zoltan and Mickey Jr.

Jayne was not only an international sex symbol in the 1950s and 1960s, but a award -winning actress – winning a Golden Globe Award and a Theater World Award.
She died tragically at the age of 34 in a car accident in Biloxi, Mississippi on June 29, 1967.
Mariska was in the car with her mother during the horrible accident; Mariska was then three years old, together with her brothers and sisters Miklos, then eight and Zoltan, then six.
The accident took place on the US Highway 90 on June 29, 1967 in Biloxi, Mississippi with Jayne, her lawyer and partner Sam Brody (who was 40), and the driver (Ronald B. Harrison, 19) in the front row with two of her dogs and her three children Mariska, Miklos.
They left the Gus Stevens Supper Club after midnight to go to New Orleans for an appearance that Jayne would make the next day.
At 2:25 am on June 29, 1967, however, the car crashed against the back of a tractor trailer that was delayed for it – it took place because of a spray truck of an insecticide missing that flashed a red light for them.
The front row (Jayne, Sam and Ronald) plus two dogs died immediately – with the rear row – her three children and two dogs – had only minor injuries.
The children slept in the back of the car.

Sardelli, who is now in the late 1980s, also appeared in her documentary alongside his other two daughters, Hargitay’s Halfzussen Giovanna and Pietra.
Hargitay told The Outlet that she eventually opened for Sardelli and his daughters after understanding and accepting her mother back to Mickey because she knew he would offer a stabler home life for her.
She said she gathered her sisters in Las Vegas for a private display of the documentary before the premiere and remembered their emotional reactions.
“They cried and cried and cried. These two women I love so much – I made them secrets! It’s so heartbreaking for me. ‘
In the documentary, Hargitay explained why she now secretly revealed her family and said that because she is now 61 years old, she felt that she could finally tell the truth and no longer had to hide it.
“I grew up where I should, and I know that everyone made the best choice for me,” she said. “I am Mickey Hargitay’s daughter – that’s not a lie.”
“This documentary is a kind of love letter to him, because there is no one that I was closer to this planet,” she said.
She explained that she wanted to make the documentary to ‘release us all’.
