WE all want to save money and that’s why bargain stores like B&M have become so popular.
The budget store offers a wide range of products at competitive prices, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious shoppers. In addition, there are regular promotions and discounts, making the store even more attractive to bargain hunters.
However, one savvy shopper has discovered a little-known trick that can help you shop even cheaper.
The budget fan, known as @twee.islam on TikTok, has discovered that shoppers can get up to 80 percent extra off certain products with a secret trick.
He shared a video of the hack on TikTok, which has since been viewed more than 561,000 times.
The TikToker captioned it: “How come NO ONE knows about this?”
The video shows him and his mother going on a big robbery and using the trick to score extra bargains.
He says: “There’s a secret that the B&M workers don’t want you to know, but I’m here to reveal it.
“Almost everything I bought in this cart was at least 50 to 80 percent off.
“One of my friends used to work at B&M and he told me that they rarely changed the selling prices of items.”
He explained that customers need to download the B&M app and scan any item they want.
The bargain hunter showed a number of examples of the discounts, including an air fryer that was discounted to £48 in-store but was reduced to £30 via the app, a candle that was priced at £1 in-store but was reduced to 25p via the app, a plant that was on offer for £10 but was reduced to £5 via the app and a decorative accessory that cost £7 in-store but was reduced to just £1.50 via the app.
He says, “I swear this app is basically a cheek grab.
“You have to come to B&M if you are going to renovate your house.”
He claimed that when he got to the checkout, the value of his shop was originally £280, but that because he had the app to view the prices, he paid £151.74.
The video attracted a lot of attention and over 160 people left comments asking further questions and sharing their thoughts.
I have been doing this for years and have had many 10p and £1 items

An interested social media user wrote: “So what do you show them, the app prices on the checkout or how does it work?”
To what @twee.islam replied: “Sometimes the sales price doesn’t show up at the register, so I scanned it on the app in front of them and they adjusted it.”
Another said: “Yes, I had the same problem. They got hold of the manager and then I paid the price via the app.”
A former B&M employee wrote: ‘I worked there.
“That’s right, I used to tell customers to go get something and that they should also buy something themselves during my break.”
Someone else added: “I’ve been doing this for years and have had loads of 10p and £1 items.”
B&M has been asked for comment.
