The Boots No7 bronzer which is ‘exactly the same product’ as Chanel’s £48 pot
BEAUTY fans have been left stunned after realizing a make-up must-have from Boots is almost identical to one from an expensive designer brand.
Adding a little bronzer to your makeup routine can instantly transform your look, not to mention adding a bit of much-needed color during the cold winter months.
Chanels Les Beiges bronzing cream has been a favorite among makeup lovers for years for its ease of blending and the subtle shine it adds.
The only problem is that the beauty product costs a whopping £48 – not exactly budget-friendly.
But thanks to Boots’ own brand No7, you can now get the look for cheaper.
The brand Pro Artist Soft Glow Cream Bronzer it’s said to compete with Chanel, and the best part is you can save a whopping £36.03 as it’s currently on sale for just £11.97.
American TV personality turned TikTok star Bethany Frankel recently took to the social media app to rave about the designer’s dupe.
She said: “No7 Cream Bronzer, better than the artist formally known as Chanel.”
“I’m so excited because no one has really done it right.
“It’s creamy, it’s toasty, it’s chocolatey, it’s drugstore,” she added.
Just like the Chanel bronzer, No7’s is available in three colors: Light Glow, Medium Glow and Deep Glow.
The product is described as “a rich, velvety cream bronzer that transforms the complexion with a lightweight, highly blendable and buildable formula, for a natural, sun-kissed glow“
Boots bosses added: “Expertly formulated to enhance and awaken the complexion, this lightweight, velvety formula glides on and blends effortlessly and provides buildable coverage for a customizable bronzed finish.
“The luxurious, creamy texture melts into the skin for a radiant finish that enhances your natural beauty.
“With a hassle-free application, No7’s Pro Artist Soft Glow Cream bronzer ensures you can achieve a radiant, sun-kissed look with ease
“So embrace the glow and let your skin glow with a natural, healthy-looking tan.”
Some beauty fans were shocked after seeing Bethany’s viral video, as one commented: “I always think of No7 as makeup for old people but this actually looks beautiful.”
Someone else wrote: “I only use No7 make-up and I’m not happy that it’s becoming so popular now, it’s been my little secret for so long.”
And a third commented: “No7 cream bronzer is made in the same place as Chanel bronzer, I’ve been to the factory.”
Meanwhile, another beauty fan claimed that the two bronzers are actually “the exact same product.”
In a viral video Abbie Mae said she was “obsessed” with the No7 product and insisted it is more than just a good dupe.
“If I tell you it’s the same,” she said as she rubbed it into her skin.
“We young people don’t normally use No7,” she added, “but it’s incredible, you can’t deny it. It’s the same.”
Although the products are very similar, both in packaging and when applied to the skin, the ingredients vary between the Chanel and No7 versions, meaning they are not exactly the same – but at more than half the price you can’t go wrong.
Best Beauty Dupes
Fabulous’ Beauty Editor, Tara Ledden revealed the cheaper version of your favorite beauty products you should have in your cupboard.
“According to new research from Elf Cosmetics, a whopping 55% of us would like to spend less on our beauty routines, so it’s no wonder there are millions of #dupe videos on Tiktok.
“While some dupes are easy to spot because of their appearance, they often fall short when it comes to content.
“In fact, some of the best dupes look nothing like the luxury product they’re a dead ringer for — and trust me, they’re the ones you want.”
REAL: Advantage Hoola Matte Bronzer£32.50 DUPE: Natural collection bronzer€3.50, which is a saving of €29. The Natural Collection Bronzer is available in more shades, although there is no mirror in the compact.
REAL: Milk Makeup Hydro-Grip Primer, £35 DUPE: Elf Power Grip Primer£10. These two share a similar green shade and the same long-lasting, mattifying properties – although Elf’s is so popular it’s just as hard to come by.
REAL: Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick£28 DUPE: L’Oréal Paris Color Riche Satin Lipstick Beige A Nu£8.99. The shades of these two lipsticks are almost identical on the lips, although Charlotte Tilbury’s is matte, but the L’Oréal Paris Lipstick has a satin finish – which actually makes it more comfortable if you wear it all day.
REAL: Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation£40 DUPE: Collection Lasting Perfection Matte Foundation£6.99. While they don’t look the same from the outside, the formula, consistency, and staying power of both foundations are quite similar — unfortunately, the collection only comes in 20 shades versus Estee Lauder’s 60 options.
REAL: Shinier boy eyebrows£20 DUPE: Essence Make Me eyebrow gel, £2.50. There’s an entire Reddit thread dedicated to this dupe, so you know it has to be good. They both have a waxy consistency and added fibers to make brows look fuller. I have to say the color range at Boy Brow is much better, but if you are brunette there are plenty of Essence color options to try.
