Any smartphone up to 3.3 inches wide can be placed in the phone holder of the Osmo Mobile 6. Additionally, the improved magnetic phone clamp automatically detects and aligns your phone with the clamp. This is great for photographers and videographers who are on the go and don’t have time for annoying manual clamps. With this magnetic version, connecting your phone is quick and easy.
Once you connect your phone, you can use the following features: Dynamic Zoom (for stretching and compression effects), ActiveTrack 6.0 (automatically tracks subjects), Sports (for faster movements), Time-Lapse and Hyperlapse (to play with time and space) and Panorama modes. The DJI Mimo app allows you to control both your gimbal and your phone, and connect your Apple Watch to use as a remote control.
If you prefer to use the gimbal itself, there are onboard controls such as an integrated joystick, side wheel and other buttons. Additionally, a system status indicator shows battery level and gimbal mode. Hand gestures can also be used to control the gimbal.
