The existence of the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE may have just been confirmed
The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE has been the subject of speculation over the past few weeks as alleged benchmark scores have surfaced online. Rumors have also been circulating that hinted at various details of the smartphone, including its design, expected specs and colorways. Now, a support page on Samsung France’s website has been spotted online featuring the handset’s alleged model number, hinting at an imminent launch. Notably, Samsung has launched the current Fan Edition model, the Galaxy S23 FE, in October 2023.
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Support Page
The supposed support page for the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE carries the model number SM-S721B, which was also spotted in the alleged Geekbench leaks of the smartphone. While the page does not provide any details about the alleged smartphone, it confirms that it will come with dual-SIM capabilities.
This development builds on multiple leaks that have surfaced in recent weeks, alongside alleged renders showing off the alleged design.
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Specifications (Expected)
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is said to feature a 6.65-inch display. In terms of dimensions, it could measure 162 x 77.3 x 8mm. The alleged Geekbench listing suggests that it could be powered by the company’s own Exynos 2400 SoC with 8GB of RAM, although it’s unclear if that would be limited to certain markets like India and Europe. Samsung’s upcoming device could come in 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage options.
Renders of the Galaxy S24 FE show off a triple camera setup on the rear, headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. The phone is said to launch in five color options: black, gray, light blue, light green, and yellow. It appears to be identical in design to the base Samsung Galaxy S24, with the volume rockers and power button on the right, while the USB Type-C port and SIM tray slot appear to be placed at the bottom.
It could be backed by a 4,500mAh battery. While the launch date for the Galaxy S24 FE is unknown, speculation points to a possible October unveiling. If true, it would continue the trend of its predecessor that debuted in the same month last year.
