The Guadalupe River of Texas bursts banks and drowns several people while the city is starting to disappear under water

A deadly flash flow has left at least six people to death and thousands of flights for their lives after the river the Guadalupe is bursting and voculated Texas towns.

The Guadalupe River quickly rose at night, broke his banks and caught up with the small, rural cities of Kerrville and Hunt.

At least one family is missing after their entire Kerrville house had been swept away by the furious storm.

The National Weather Service (NWS) explained an emergency for the flood for all of Kerr County, about 90 miles outside San Antonio, after almost 10 centimeters of rain fell at night.

Heavy rainfall ensured that the River the Guadalupe rises rapidly, with the water level that had already reached an almost record high this morning.

There are evacuations for the locals who live along the river, with authorities who warn the ‘dangerous’ and potential ‘life -threatening’ floods. Residents are encouraged to ‘immediately find higher terrain’.

The emergency warning remains in force for the area, as well as nearby Kendall County, until a minimum of 2 p.m. local time Friday.

A Kerrville man, his wife and their two children are missing after floods had been brought by their neighborhood at night, Woai TV Reports.

The area where the family’s house once stood is now an empty party, in which officials suspect that the building was wiped out by the storm.

A whole RV park in Ingram was also swept downstream by the floods while families were still in their houses, a source of law enforcement said Keye TV.

The Sheriff’s Office of Kerr County warned residents of a ‘catastrophic flooding’ event in a Facebook message Friday morning.

The update confirmed that there have been ‘fatal victims’ because of the floods, but did not disclose the number of people killed.

Their identities are withheld pending family notification.

Judge Rob Kelly van Kerr County told Kvue and Austin statesman Reporter Tony Plohetski that so far at least six dead have been included in Kerr County.

Several people have been saved, including those in campers and campers stationed along the river, Kelly said.

Road closures have been reported in Kerrville, where the local streets are flooded and low water transitions are now completely impassable.

The city has issued a disaster statement and the local Walmart is used as a temporary reunification center for those who are displaced by the floods.

A local utility company reported a ‘major malfunction’ that influenced more than 2,600 customers in Kerrville, Center Point and Hunt.

Civil servants say that restoration -efforts have been delayed by flooding and downstairs electricity lines.

The whole of Kerr County is considered an ‘extremely active scene’, said Kerr County Sheriff Larry L. Leitha in the explanation.

“Our office works together with a wide range of local and government agencies to respond to calls and rescues,” Leitha added.

‘Residents are encouraged to protect and not try to travel. Those in the vicinity of Kreken, Beken and the River Guadalupe must immediately go to the higher ground. ‘

The provinces of San Antonio and Bexar, both about 90 miles away from Kerr County, have remained relatively unaffected by the bad weather.

The River De Guadalupe has risen to its second highest height on record, the National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed early Friday morning.

The highest height of the river was 36 feet, during a large flood in 1987.

Meteorologists with keye believe that the record has already been surpassed today, but note that the flood meter of the river no longer reports.
