The HUGE £5 The Range purchase that makes Christmas morning MUCH more exciting
BARGAIN-MAD Christmas fans are going crazy for a must-have purchase from The Range that will make the festive season even more special – all for just £5.
With Christmas Day just around the corner, many parents are wondering how they can make the holiday even more memorable for their little ones.
Luckily, popular home goods store The Range has once again come to the rescue – this time with a HUGE sleigh that can hold dozens of gifts.
A thrifty woman, Lemmer Jayne, was stunned when she came across the enormous specimen Make your own Christmas sleigh basket, assorted – which has now been reduced from £5.99 to just £4.79.
The mum-of-three shared the must-have festive bargain on TikTok and advised fellow shoppers not to lose sleep over the find.
”Don’t run! RUN! £5.99 at The Range and they make a lovely addition to Christmas Day,” the delighted parent wrote the now viral video.
According to the description online, the dimensions are 96 cm x 56 cm and the sled is also easy to assemble without any problems.
Plus, not only can the fantastic find hold multiple presents, it can also be used to store all your Christmas decorations – year after year.
This light piece is the perfect addition to any Christmas and is sure to add a lot of magic to your home, especially when placed in the living room next to the decorated tree.
Lemmer also showed off to other social media users how beautiful the sleigh looked – and although there are still a few weeks until Christmas, the bargain was already filled to the brim with neatly wrapped persies.
“People who can’t afford big gifts can get the sleigh cheaply and it will make it more magical if they want it,” the mother wrote.
The video has clearly made an impression on many as it has already racked up a whopping 1.1 million views and hundreds of comments.
One viewer said: ”They also do these in B&M for £5.”
Another suggested a more wallet-friendly alternative if you’re into DIY: “make your own from hard cardboard and design it yourself, much cheaper, buy flat boxes in supermarkets.”
Someone else chimed in: ”oh wow, I’ll get four tomorrow if possible.”
Although many complained that the sleds were sold out at their local store, Lemmer claimed that ”The Range had already announced that the sleds would be restocked”.
”That’s super cute so I’m going to give my son one for his first Christmas and what a great idea to put the presents inside. I just wanted it for decoration lol,” another mom couldn’t wait to get her hands on the adorable purchase.
How do you care for your real Christmas tree?
HERE’S what you need to know when buying a real Christmas tree:
First things first: buy a jar (if it isn’t already in).
You should treat your tree like a houseplant and give it water and attention.
Make sure the container has good drainage. It’s a good idea to put something underneath to catch the excess water.
Check the soil every day to make sure it is not drying out.
If it feels dry, give it some water. If it still feels damp, leave it alone as too much water can also kill a tree.
Also check that the LED bulbs of your tree lights are not too hot, as this can burn them, and keep your tree away from radiators.
Once Christmas is over, try planting it in the garden so you can dig it up and use it again next year.
However, it is a good idea to remove it from the pot when you replant it, as large trees do not survive well in pots as their roots need room to grow.
Festive fail
However, the homewares store was recently toppled over a Christmas tree you can tolerate without much fuss – as shoppers insisted it ‘takes away the magic’.
The 6-foot tree comes pre-lit and costs $99.99 for the fun.
Although it’s called a pop-up tree, “drop-down tree” might be more appropriate, as the tree doesn’t actually pop up at all.
In a video shared to TikTok, The Range demonstrated how easy it is to put the tree together, and it actually only takes seconds.
But the no-fuss tree left some customers scratching their heads, claiming it took all the magic and fun out of it.
“It’s more fun to sort the colors of the branches while your family puts them on the tree. It’s like a whole production, I love it,” someone commented on the viral video.
“It takes away all the magic,” said another.
And someone else commented: “Since it’s half the effort, it should be half the price.”
