The last of us Season 2 Episode 7 Is now out – and with that the newest episode of the incredibly popular show has ended.
Just like his predecessor, season 2 of HBO’s TV adjustment has been an appointment for all of us in the last seven weeks. And while the dust settles in the final of almost 50 minutes, I imagine that you have some big questions about what happened and the future of the show.
So how does it The last of us Season 2 end? Are there scenes for final credits? And when do we think that season 3 is coming worldwide? I want to answer these questions below, but take it into account Full spoilers follow immediately The last of us‘Season 2 Final. Make sure you looked at it before you continue.
Who dies in the Last of US season 2 episode 7?
The last of us TV programThe newest episode contains three dead in the big character.
The most unexpected of these, and perhaps the most shocking since then Joel’s downfall in season 2 episode 2Is Jesse’s. The good friend of Ellie and Dina’s ex-boyfriend (and father of Dina’s unborn child) is killed by Abby when she storms the Seattle theater that has been the operations of Ellie and Dina since the fourth episode of Ellie and Dina.
Jesse’s death will probably not shock The Last of Us Part IIaka the naughty dog video game season 2 is based on. And if during the last episode of Season 2 you had paid attention to the in advance, such as Jesse who constantly expressed his wish to come from Seattle, I doubt whether you would also have been amazed by his death.
But why does Abby kill him? The reason is simple: Ellie has accidentally killed Owen and Mel, two members of Abby’s party who helped her in tracing and killing Joel in episode 2. A vengeful Abby then wants revenge for Ellie who kills two of her best friends.
After you heard from Abby’s location of Nora in episode 5 – that the aquarium of Seattle is not far removed from the indispensable Ferris wheel of the city – Ellie infiltrates the building and meets Owen and Mel while searching for Abby.
Still traumatized from how much she tortured Nora two episodes ago, Ellie claims that she will not shoot Owen and Mel when they tell her where Abby is now. Owen initially refuses, but to buy himself and Mel for some time, he eventually agrees to show Ellie where she can find Abby on a map.
While Owen is approaching the card on a table, he makes a step to take a gun to shoot there. Unfortunately for Owen kicking Ellie’s survival instincts and shoots it first.
The bullet passes Owen’s neck and immediately kills him. After leaving the back of Owen’s throat, it touches Mel behind him. The bullet cuts her neck, where he gets an artery in the process, causing Mel to collapse and bleeds.
Usually this would be a tragic accident in itself – Mel was unarmed after all and did not try to harm Ellie. Mel, however, makes it even worse for Ellie (and, by Proxy, we as viewers) before she dies by revealing that she is heavily pregnant.
When Ellie felt incredible guilt and shame about what she had done to Nora, she feels 50 times worse about not only Mel’s life, but also that of her innocent unborn child. It is a time when you come home even more difficult when you consider how much danger Ellie a pregnant Dina has done since the few Jackson, Wyoming, has also left.
Jesse, Owen and Mel are not the only victims of season 2 episode 7 – Well, that’s something The last of us wants you to think. One of the last shots of the final shows Abby who aimed her side arm on an unarmed Ellie, who shouts “no no no!” Before the screen cuts to the black while a shot is fired.
There is no way the hit Maximum Show has just hit one of his main characters in Ellie, right? In short: no, she doesn’t die. Ellie is the protagonist of this TV series and The Last of Us Part II. Despite the spoilers, her story is not nearly in the adaptation of HBO’s Live promotion.
So, who fired the shot that we hear? I’m not going to ruin that now. You just have to wait for season 3 (more about this later). Or, you know, you could watch a playthrough The Last of Us 2 on YouTube If you want an answer as soon as possible.
Is there a mid -credits scene in the last of the American season 2 episode 7?
There is no mid -credit scene to stay ahead.
The last scene of this season also does not count as one. Of course, it is a big hint about how season 3 starts (more about this soon), but it is a short scene that takes place before the end loans begin to roll. It cannot therefore be classified as a traditional stinger in the mid-credits.
Does the last episode of the last of our season 2 have a scene after the credits?
No. The last of us Season 2 also has no scene after the credits. Based on how the newest episode of the show ends, it doesn’t need it.
When is the last of the American season 3 released?
We don’t know. HBO confirmed that alone The last of us Season 2 would not be the last chapter of the HIT series in April, so it will take a few years before one of the Best max -shows“The third season is being released.
It is likely that work has been going on behind the scenes in season 3 for a while. I would indeed be surprised if the most important creative team of the show has not carried out his scripts, location racer and the execution of other pre-production elements for months at the moment.
Nevertheless, with filming still to start The last of us Season 3I suspect it will be in the earliest in mid -2027 before it is launched worldwide.
What does the last final of season 2 of us tell about the plot of season 3?
The last scene of season 2 episode 7 suggests that next season will give us a completely different perspective on the events that take place during Ellie and Dina’s first 72 hours in Seattle.
After the screen is cut to black in the final of this season, many viewers might have expected the credits to roll, so that we will stay behind on a cliffhanger.
Instead, a new scene starts seconds later and you reunite us with Abby while she wakes up by Manny. He tells her that “they” will not be happy if she lets them wait, to which Abby answers that she will be there in five minutes.
As soon as she has come full, Abby steps up a balcony with a view of a football stadium that has been reused as a headquarters for the antagonistic faction guided by Isaac that is known as the Washington Liberation Front (WLF). After investigating the scene, Abby goes back in while the words ‘Seattle, day one’ appear in the left under corner of the screen.
This is the same location and time stamp that appeared in episode 4 of season 2 when Ellie and Dina first arrive in Seattle. So, so, The last of us The first few episodes of season 3, if not the whole of next season, will travel back in time and cover the same three -day period in the American Pacific Northwest City by Abby’s eyes.
That will not be a surprise for those who played The Last of Us Part II. As the Deuteragonist of the aforementioned video game, Abby was depicted a playable character for half of the story in the second mention of the much -praised and more rejection of the Naughty Dog’s Gamefranchise. That means that her side of the Seattle-based story, which runs to Ellie simultaneously, will be brought to life in season 3 of the TV adjustment of HBO.
There is also a lot of ground to be treated in the ABBY-oriented part of the story. What were Owen and Mel to do before Ellie interrupted them? Who is Mel’s baby’s father? How did Abby know where to find Ellie and Co. In Seattle? What convinced Isaac to choose Abby as the new leader of the WLF? Why does Isaac believe that the current leadership of the WLF will perish during the attack at the Serafites head office? And does Manny meet the same fate as Owen, Mel and Nora with Ellie’s or the hands of someone else, or is he still alive somewhere?
These questions must be answered in season 3 and afterwards when The last of us Officially ends with its rumors of four seasons plan. I could now give more details, but again, from this point in the story I don’t want to spoil anything important about Ellie and Abbby’s journeys. So, unless you are now looking for answers on the internet, you have to wait until season 3 arrives for them.
