Nat Louise shared on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK that there were “some decent bargains”.

Among the discounted products were make-up brushes for 99p, serums for £1.49, self-tanner for £1.99 and setting sprays for £1.49.

The store in question is Quality Discounts, affectionately called QD by customers.

It is an independent discount store operating mainly in the East of England.

According to recent data on the QD website, there are currently 32 locations.

Further afield locations include Aylesbury, Suffolk, Essex and Leceister.

The first QD branch opened in Norwich in 1985.

The company still retains the simple red and white QD logo, the store’s name.

In April 2022, the chain decided to compete with discounters Poundland and Home Bargains by offering a frozen food section.

Despite this, a large number of buyers have never heard of the brand.

‘Grab a bargain now,’ shout Primark staff as beauty products go on sale for just 75p

That also goes for a number of people who commented on Nat Louise’s post about QD’s latest Makeup Revolution product.

Kayleigh McConnell wrote: “I’ve never heard of QD.”

Ashi Parmar asked: “Excuse me, QD?

“Is it like Home Bargains?”

Sarah Mead said, “I don’t think there are that many QDs anymore.”

Makeup Revolution is a London-based cosmetics brand known for its affordable, yet high-quality beauty products.

But as the cost of living crisis continues to squeeze Britons’ wallets, an even bigger cut on QD couldn’t hurt.
