Most robot vacuums are satisfied to ensure cleaning your floors. Not so the Switchbot K20+ Pro. This new Robovac can not only work as a vacuum, but also as a fan, air purification service or delivery service.
The arrangement consists of a compact robot vacuum, on which the ‘fusion platform’ will squeeze. The platform then becomes a basis for various other devices, and the Robovac becomes the wheels that float the entire setup.
It is compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri, for seamless Smart Home integration, and some docked equipment functions can also be automated as part of the Switchbot ecosystem. Because the whole thing is on top of a robot vacuum, you also get all the technology that goes with it: Lidar -Navigationmapping and object avoidance (Switchbot makes some of the current Best Robot -Cleansmen for small houses – get a taste in our Switchbot K10+ Pro Mini Review).
The K20+ Pro was first unveiled on CES 2025 In January, and from today it is for sale in the US, the UK and Europe. You can choose the kit that meets your needs, with prices from $ 699.99 / £ 599.99 / € 599.99.
The K20+ Pro Air Flow kit, for example, contains a range of the Switchbot Battery Circulator, so that you can live your Mariah Carey fantasies by following and acting if your own personal wind machine while you go from room to room.
Alternatively, the Patrol kit contains a Switchbot Pan/Tilt Cam and offers real-time monitoring and motion detection in your home, with immediate reports if there is any disruption.
There is also the K20+ Pro Air Purifier kit, where the bone does an air purification hat. You can then drive it from room to room to clear the atmosphere of all the nasties – perhaps at a distance while you are out of the house.
The simplest but perhaps the most usable integration is just a table that turns the bone into a ‘smart delivery assistant’. It can be used to deliver food, packages or almost everything you want – provided that it weighs less than 8 kg. There is room here for the K20+ to be useful for people with mobility restrictions.
If you are very technically skilled, the set-up also supports DIY adjustment and devices from third parties, so that you can hack the system to help with your own specific needs. Switchbot suggests that you might want to add things such as speakers or UV sterilization lamps.
