The long -awaited theme park of Universal Orlando came under heavy criticism only a few days after opening the gates.
Epic Universe, which was officially opened on May 22, marks the third full theme park of Universal and the fourth gate in the vast Orlando resort.
The resort of £ 4.5 billion has five compelling worlds: Celestial Park, Dark Universe, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, Super Nintendo World and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic.
With its advanced attractions, blockbusters themes and alien design, the park has already drawn fans from all over the world – in particular gamers and film fans.
But it is not only the journeys or entertainment that participants are talking to – it is the sun.
Visitors have taken to assess platforms and social media to express their frustration about the lack of shady areas in the new park, which is located in one of the most popular and most humid regions in the US
On Tripadvisor, an employee also warned -to wear ‘sunscreen’, because there is ‘no shadow nowhere’.
Another wrote about the resort: “It is extremely hot – no shade in the park and all seats were burning.”

On Reddit, dozens of visitors issued similar views, as one wrote in a wire: ‘My biggest criticism is the lack of shadow. Many parks such as making people feel the heat to push the sale of the drinks, but Epic was really rough when I went a few weeks ago.
“I remember that when I entered the Httyd country, I wanted to stay under the portal for about 20 minutes because it is one of the few areas in the park with shadow of the brutal Orlando sun.”
As an addition to the return, some parkgoers wonder if the daily ticket price of $ 139 (£ 103) is worth it, especially given what some describe as ‘limited’ offer in comparison with the hype.
One person wrote, ‘scandalous prices’, while the other added: “I feel that it is light on journeys, despite the fact that there is apparently 14, the Harry Potter area is a shame with just 1 ride and Nintendo World does nothing for me, except giving me a headache.”
A third said: ‘My biggest concern is that there are not enough things to do. California Adventure opened with twice as many things, including shows, Walkthroughs etc. And that park was notorious because it didn’t have enough attractions. ‘
A fourth claimed: “Some journeys are not open at all” and “some people several times a day for a longer period,” while another claimed that there are “not enough journeys and the journeys they have are not good enough.”
Another frustrated participant added: ‘I may not be the majority, but I don’t think it’s worth the money! The lines were terrible … what 3 hours of waiting. What I know it is brand new, but if you only have 2-3 rides a park, how will this improve?
‘Even when I went half, the journeys were delayed or broken. So if you only have 10 journeys the entire park, the waiting times are ridiculous. I hope this improves and they work out. ‘

Despite the criticism, many visitors claimed to have enjoyed their time in the park
Despite the criticism, many visitors claimed to have enjoyed their time in the park, as they wrote: ‘The character actors and journeys are really unique. I am excited to go back and see how this park is developing.
‘I feel that complaints about downtime are getting out of hand a bit. There are so many things to do in the park, even with rides down I had no lack of new things to try. ‘
Another said: “It is the most majestic park I have ever been, although some negatives as mentioned by other users (lack of shadow, some technical problems), but the atmosphere is really perfect.”
Finally, a participant gushed: “Really a theme park from the 21st century, very compelling in the four portals, and the two phase shows are not spoken enough, both are incredible.”
