Gaming accessory fire Logitech G has announced the Logitech G522 Lightspeed, a new wireless gaming set that is intended to replace the popular Logitech G733 Lightspeed.
The G522 Lightspeed has redesigned earcups, with a wider shape and an extra low memory foam for improved comfort. It has a lightweight, adjustable fabric headband, which is now flatter than its predecessor and built -in backs for better cooling.
The exterior of each earplug has four striking adjustable RGB lighting zones, which can be adapted to the color of your choice in the Logitech G Hub agency sheet software. It is also compatible with the Mobile app Logitech G.
Under the hood, the headset is packing Logitech G’s highest 40 mm Pro-G driver programs with 24-bit / 48 kHz signal processing for improved audio and detail.
The headset is bundled with a removable omnidirectional microphone, which offers an impressive 16-bit / 48kHz bandwidth. It is the same microphone found in the excellent, but much more expensive, Astro A50 XThat impression made on his crystal clear recordings in my practical tests.
On the Logitech G522 light speed, the microphone has the extra advantage of a built-in red LED indicator that relieves when it is filled in.
As the name suggests, the headset can connect to PC or PlayStation 5 via Logitech’s Lightspeed Wireless Dongle (which is included in the box), but also supports traditional Bluetooth for the aforementioned platforms alongside Nintendo Switch and Mobile. There is also the option for wired game via the USB Type-C connector.
Logitech claims up to 40 hours of battery life with the standard lighting, or up to 90 hours with switched off, which is a pretty impressive figure. It’s not entirely the Promised up to 200 hours by the competing Hyperx Cloud IIIsBut it is still more than enough juice for a few weeks of intense game sessions.
The Logitech G522 Lightspeed is located in white or black colors on June 16. It costs $ 179 / £ 139.99 / au $ 299.95, so that it is placed in the midrange prize bracket.
The expansive function set seems promising, but only time will learn or one of the Best PC -Gaming Headsets or Best ps5 headsets All around.
