The notorious bra boy Koby Abberton reveals his unusual reaction of four words when he discovered that his nine-year-old son was almost drowning in Bali

Former Bra Boys member and professional surfer Koby Abberton told his son that he “will never be saved again” when nine-year-old was recently caught in a crack in Bali.
Abberton, 45, went to Instagram to reveal an online exchange he had with his son Makua’s school when he was saved from drowning during a surf lesson.
A representative of the school called Intan Sinuhaji said to Abberton: ‘I want to inquire that Makua was sucked away by the tides during surf lessons.
‘The coach had to throw his belt to grab Makua and hold on to it. Makua got scratches on his left ankle. ‘
But instead of expressing his concern or gratitude, Abberton replied: ‘Good. Tell Makua not to be saved by anyone again.

Padang Padang is a famous surf spot in Uluwatu, Bali. It remains unclear where Makua was when he got stuck in the rip.

Death through drowning are regularly an event in and around Bali.

Asked to describe his Bali lifestyle, Abberton said: “I wake up, I do what I want – swim, go to the gym, check the waves and when the waves are large, I call and I take some children surf and surf all day.”
Abberton returned to Australia in 2021 to shine in a series of SAS Australia on Channel Seven, where in 2003 he revived the fatal shooting of his brother Jai -over man Tony Hines.
Jai was not found guilty of murder in the field of self -defense, but Koby was found guilty of trying to distort justice.
